    Does this menu look ok?

Today is the first day I've managed to hit my numbers for calories, fat and protein. Here is what I am having and my totals. Does this look ok for PCOS LE? I'm gluten free due to an allergy so it's harder to find whole grain foods that aren't super carby.

    11am-coffee with cream and banana

1am-grilled cheese with butter and pepper jack on whole grain gf bread plus bell peppers with ranch, a pickle and strawberries.

5am-small serving chicken dipped in bleu cheese, potato with sour cream, black beans with salsa and steamed brocolli and cauliflower. One 5 oz serving of wine on the side.

This gets me right at 1500 calories, 55 fat and 55 protein.

Hey if you're looking for less carb-y whole grain options that are gluten free (I feel ya as I have celiac and am eating somewhat low carb), look at the BFree brand. I like the brown seeded loaf as it's only 12g carbs per slice but the slices are quite large. Canyon Bakehouse and Little Northern bakehouse have some whole grain options too though the carbs are a little higher. I've also found that the brown rice cakes (the thin ones) aren't too bad on carbs either (around 6g per cake). Hope that helps!

Thank you! I eat Canyon Bakehouse but will look for the Bfree brand.

Yes that looks fantastic to me! As long as you don't lose too much weight on 1500 cals carry on.

(you're not counting the protein and fat in fruit and veg, and nothing, not even calories, in low carb veg, right?)

Correct, I'm using your guidelines for fruits and veggies. I've lost 1 lb in a week which seems healthy so going to keep it up. Thanks again, I appreciate you!
