Postpartum discharge

Hi ladies!! Sorry, totally cringe topic, but I’m about 20 months postpartum and still haven’t had a period due to breastfeeding. For the past month or so I’ve had days with COPIOUS amounts of discharge... I mean like.... horrifying amounts. Is this normal? Does this mean I may start cycling? Is there anything else it could be? I haven’t noticed any smell and the color seems to be normal. TIA!

It may be you're having practice cycles and are about to start geting your cycle back again. As long as you're not having any other symtpoms, I'd just keep track of it on a calendar and see if there's a pattern to be discerned.

Thank you! It’s been every other day, maybe every day at times. I’d love to start a period so I TTC, but just concerned it’s BV or something(?) (I’ve never had it so I don’t know what to expect)

The only way to know for sure is to have it tested by the doc. But ~usually~ when it's YI or BV, you know something isn't right. There's not the sense of unsurety going on.
