    2 weeks waiting patiently

Yesterday they removed 1 follicle and then the insemination took place. Now I have to wait patiently for 2 weeks to know if I am pregnant and hopefully it is a girl! This is quite exciting :-)

Hi Atomic, i have a question. Thursday I can do a pregnancy test. I now have the same symptoms as in my 2 other pregnancies. Sensitive breasts and menstrual-like pain. Now I have pain in my lower left abdomen, mainly when moving. I've never had this before. My ovulation was also left. Could this be an ectopic pregnancy? Or couldn't you feel this so early? I am now on day 10 after insemination. I'm a little worried

The odds of ectopic pregnancies are very low and one sided cramping is very common. People worry constantly about ectopics constantly but they rarely are having one.

If you ovulated from your left side you're possibly feeling the corpus luteum on that side growing.

If you're worried, you can of course always make an appointment for having them check you but at this stage it's very unlikely they'd be able to see anything on ultrasound.

Okay. Thank you! Because of your explanation, I am more confident that it is probably nothing. On Friday I will do a pregnancy test and if it is positive I have to call for a first ultrasound at the fertility doctor. If I still have pain by Friday, I can report this

Don't be too surprised if that crampy feeling moves all around! I remember having intense pains on one side that moved to a different side and then different places over and over again.

The minute you're pregnant your body releases relaxin hormone and the tissues in your uterus start to stretch, and receive increased blood flow too. So sometimes a spot will feel tender and then go away and another spot flares up!
