Just for fun NPR story on gender prediction
Hi all! I was searching for a good podcast to listen to today while working, and found this super fun story on This American Life about a grandma who predicted the sex of all her grandkids by sending the mom-to-be a little pair of pants (boy) or a tiny dress (girl). She got NINETEEN of the kids' genders right, including boy-girl twins! Anyway, I thought you all might enjoy: https://www.thisamericanlife.org/475...essage/act-one
I also have a semi-similar story. The Christmas before we conceived our first born, my mother-in-law gave us a little blue sweater. That same Christmas, she gave my sister-in-law a little tiny dress. Sure enough--I got pregnant in February with a boy, and my sister-in-law got pregnant in June with a girl. Since my husband is the oldest of 11, we'll have plenty of opportunity to see if she's able to predict any more pregnancies!
Anyone else have fun wives tales stories like this to share?
