TTC girl after 2 boys...37 years old...not sure where to start!
Hi everyone...I am 37 with a 5 year old boy and just turned 2 year old little boy. I really would love a little girl. I have read through the posts and have no idea where to start outside of the LE diet. I do still nurse at night but trying to break this...much harder than anticipated bc he nurses for comfort. I did not have trouble conceiving at 30 and 34 both within 1-3 months. I am overweight 200 lbs at 5'3 if that makes a difference in the plan. I was 170 when I conceived my first and not sure with my second but I think around 205. Please help...I never thought I would ever have a 3rd but I really would love a girl and if I end up with a boy, then I will love him and he would be a great additional to the crew. DH is 37 and normal weight. I did start to take 600 mg folic acid.

Should I purchase a plan? Will that make a difference?

Why are you trying to stop nursing? We believe nursing sways somewhat pink.
I would suggest you do the alternate LE Diet with the whole grains, full fat dairy (no skim or part skim dairy at all), slightly lower carb and highand low/no sugar. You can find that here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...t=swaying+PCOS
(just scroll thru the first few posts and you'll see the diet)
I would also suggest doing some cardio exercise (even walking will suffice) 4-7 days, 60 minutes a day. It's ok to start gradually and work up to that amount, especially if you are losing some weight at the same time, because this will help lower your muscle mass.
You guys should also aim at one attempt in the fertile window rather than many attempts.
Can you be more specific about what you're looking for in terms of help?

Thank you so much for replying! I was thinking nursing would hurt my chances of conception and (silly reason) I get grief from family and friends that he is still nursing, however he just turned 2. I nursed my first until 2.5 years old then stopped and we started to try for #2 shortly after. If this tends to sway pink I will keep it up and take his que to stop vs me trying to force it. He is very attached currently.
With my two boys we did dtd pretty much everyday during my fertile week. Looking at posts I see that aligns with a boy sway for sure. Would you recommend any additional supplements outside of folate (600mg). I also see some do replens? Does jump and dump matter? I was planning only dtd Once in fertile period- does it matter when exactly (should it be at positive opk or before)? And should my DH be releasing even if we doing one attempt.

Most people can conceive while nursing, especially once you're past the one year mark, let alone two! It's no magic bullet but we do believe it helps.
I'd definitely aim at the one attempt in the fertile window. Most of us have that one attempt at positive OPK just to make it easier on ourselves but that's largely your choice.
How old is your DH?
If you're doing diet I suggest 1200 mcg folic acid or folate instead. Take this thru the first tri of pregnancy and then gradually wean off by spacing doses further and further out till down to the amount in your prenatal.
We don't usually use Replens, some use RepHresh and or Acijel/Sylk in combination. We haven't really found them to work, but some people like to use them. They do cut odds of conception some though.

Then he should do the daily release 7-10 days prior to the one attempt. No abstain for him.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
