Chromium in Cinnamon supp
I have a cinnamon supplement with added chromium (400mcg). Is this an issue? Should I try and find a cinnamon without added chromium?
Thanks!

Why are you taking a cinnamon supp?
I do not recommend that high a level of cinnamon anyway. I would not have you take that. But please fill me in on why you think you need cinnamon, as it's not right for everyone.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Hi, I have a bmi of 28 and had a sway opposite, so I am following the LE pcos diet, and thought perhaps cinnamon might help with some insulin resistance issues. My RE for a previous pregnancy in the past (due to PCOS) had me on metformin, but I'm not on that currently as I'm not seeing an RE. Maybe I am wrong in my thinking, but happy to come here for help and advice!! I know you know best atomic!!

Ok! Yes, I'm ok with you using cinnamon. But let's reduce the amount. I would have you use only 1/4 teaspoon (this is less than is found in supplements, usually) from AF-O and 1/8 teaspoon (this is a very small amount! Just a pinch!) from O-AF, and then at BFP wean off to dietary amounts only. Cinnamon is STRONG stuff.
Unless you are breastfeeding or have any medications or health issues I should be aware of?
Would you want to use myoninositol?!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Ah ok! Maybe myoinositol is a better option and I should just skip the cinnamon... no other health issues though
1 more thing-- I am a sahm and am finding it incredibly difficult to carve time out for exercise. I'm a little paranoid this is going to ruin my sway. Would 30 mins a day be worth aiming for or should I just nix the idea completely if I cant get all the way up to 60 mins

You can do both of them together.
Given your BMI and history of a sway opposite, yes, you need to do exercise even if you can't get up to the full amount. The benefits to blood sugar control and weight loss outweigh any potential risks from building muscle. Just be VERY sure you are losing at least a little weight on a lower protein, lower fat, lower cal diet (LE PCOS is great! Just work hard at sticking to that)!!! Questions??
