    TTC after loss and placenta retrieval

    Hi @atomic sagebrush

    So I'll try and keep this short!

    I have been doing the diet for a while now and was feeling great! We ended up getting pregnant and got further along than we have the last few tries which were chemicals and we were getting pregnant quick!

    After my recent lost (10/11 weeks) I was feeling very low and off, no nausea, not cramping just low so I went off the diet to not stress about what I was eating. I came to discover I had large remnants of placenta left with infection, after antibiotics I had surgery and my OB/GYN Dr wanted me to try again.

    She has put my on the birth control pill for a month to build up my estrogen to rebuild my wall where they curated as the placenta was stuck on the wall.
    I will start back on diet because I reached a healthy weight and maintained it, felt great on it and eating really clean, along with exercising.

    Is there anything I can do to help with estrogen (other than diet) and is there anything to consider when coming off the pill to start TTC?

    You don't need to do anything for estrogen. Just eat as you were eating, being sure you're getting adequate fat intake (this is not the time for a super low fat diet, eat uper levels of fat, 50-60 g) and skip fiber for now. The birth control pills are 10,000 times better at raising estrogen than anything to do with diet. We just need to let that happen.

    Anything to consider in terms of health or of the sway?
