Flu....is it still safe to TTC?
We were going to ttc this month. Before Thanksgiving, my boys got sick (i think flu since they had fever). My husband and I also got sick couple days ago (congestion and sore throat) with no fever. I didnt notice earlier but husband took nyquil for last 2 nights . My OPK tests are high, thinking it will peak soon in next couple days. Is it still safe for us to ttc or should we skip this cycle?

Yes, it's fine. While it's believed that very high fevers (over 103 and sustained for more than an hour, although it's best to avoid even short term exposure to very hot temps if you can - which is why sitting in a hot tub and tanning bed is also a no-no) can harm a pregnancy at a certain point (8-12 weeks) TTC when you've been sick is safe. If something were to go wrong somehow (there is no known mechanism, but if we were playing "what if") at that stage it is just "pass or fail" so the pregnancy would simply not happen.
If you do ever get sick with a temperature when pregnant, just be sure you're not bundling up as allowing the heat to dissipate can mitigate the effects. Acetomenophen (paracetemol) is ok for short term use, it's best not to use it any longer than need be.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
