How to keep hunger at bay?
I’ve never dieted, so I find dealing with hunger on the LE diet hard (almost certainly more in my head than anything). I’ve obviously over indulged over Christmas… whoops, but trying to get back in the zone!
What do you do to avoid snacking? I often reach for snacks when I’m bored or out of habit, so I need some tricks up my sleeve!

During my sway I found keeping myself busy and drinking alot of water/ liquid is what kept my snacking at bay. It was hard at first but eventually I became less hungry in between meals.

I'm a boy swayer (and mum of 4 girls) - I've always found that a large cup of coffee helped me not being super hungry...
If that is something you can muster, may be worth trying?
Also, Atomic would likely tell you you shouldn't be starving!!! you might need to look at what you eat/when as you may not be getting enough??

Tell me more about what you're eating. Many times when people are having trouble sticking to the diet, they're being too restrictive.
When you're truly hungry, eat something. Even if it means adding in a fourth meal, it's still very different than the sort of all day grazing many of us with all boys tend to do.

many people do find they adjust over time. If you're struggling, eat a bit more and see if it helps, then you may be able to cut back more again later on.

YES! Coffee is something that many people rely on when they get the munchies between meals! And I agree that I want more info about mochi's day to day eating patterns to see what we can tweak!

Coffee is a great idea, thank you!
I am definitely NOT starving @atomic haha! Just a snacker - I'm very 'boy friendly' by nature as I like to eat constantly.
Generally I'll do really well until about 3pm and then I just eat anything mindlessly.
I have a coffee first thing, and then I'll have greek yogurt and fruit about 10am (normally with another coffee), then at midday it'll be cheese and ryvitas with tomatoes and fruit or salad. Then a Nakd bar about 3 (fruit and nut bar) followed by pointless snacks I don't actually need and I'm just eating them because they're there... followed by dinner at about 5.30pm with my family. I am eating regular meals as we've always eaten balanced meals - but I'm choosing vegetarian options and wholewheat carbs (so normally it's pasta and veg with cheese or last night I had a veggie burger in a bun with a big salad). If I'm still hungry I'll have a little sweet thing immediately after dinner, like one biscuit or a fruit yogurt. I then have an apple and cinnamon tea most evenings because it's yummy and it stops me eating chocolate haha.
I'm hitting 1,800 calories most days and not often hungry. I just eat mindlessly. I'll try more coffee!

I understand completely, I'm the exact same way! Another thing that's always helped me is bubbly seltzer water (not club soda as some believe it sways a wee bit blue). Nothing in it, but it makes me feel like I'm having something and it fills my stomach for as long as I need it to.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
