Hi. Im surely not the one to aswer the question and atomic would surely answer soon and help you a lot. I just would like to give some words i guess you must be ansious or nervouss. I always feel that wsy with treatments and studies.
Ok for what i read or less know it could your thyroides. That could be the cause of getting difficult to get pregnant. If that is the problem your doc will give you medication to level you so you can feel ok and be able to get pregnant. But doc is the one that will better know and guide you. Tsh also changes level at time of day ad day or night and time of cycle. So dont really know if your level needs or dont need medication. Eveything will be ok as in the worst case its the problem medication will work, but surely will repeat test. Sometimes docs prefer to change laboratory to check new results. Sending all my best wished to you. Keep us updated and hope you get your miracle very soon!

Hi thanks, think i understand what you mean. I was more confused over the FSH level result i got: tho normal it reads
    Gonadotrophin level
Serum follicle stimulating hormone level 8.2 iu/L
    3.8 - 8.8 IU/l (follicular phase)
    4.5 - 22.5 IU/l (mid cycle peak)
    1.8 - 5.2 IU/l (luteal phase)

i went into a small panic as according to this right normal readings are 3.8-8.8? so if im 8.2 how close am i to being pre menapausal or am i looking into this too much? these bloods were taken day 5, there was no more bleeding - just spotting from af, and they were taken mid day.

I think thyroid results are good as are the LH ones below? right?

Yes, you're looking into that FSH too much. You're not premenopausal. It is normal for FSH to go up and down even by the month and while it's slightly than average for your age it still in good range. Plus, it is really the things like AMH that are more important for telling us egg reserve. I never want anyone to panic over FSH anyway.

I would definitely ask about the thyroid. That's a bit out of my area of expertise but it's worth discussing with your doc.

That's not how it works. FSH is in a constant state of flux for your entire life. It doesn't gradualy increase by the month like you're thinking of it. Next month if you retested it, it might be 5, for example. It goes up and down. Taht's why AMH is a better (but still not foolproof) measure of egg reserve.
