Is Skull Theory Accurate? Atomic?? Anyone??
Everyone on my pregnancy app thinks this is a boy due to the skull. Any possibility of girl still?? After 4 boys, I am praying! The cord was between the legs the whole time so we didn't get a nub look or picture 12 weeks and 5 daysLast edited by lmd2281; December 11th, 2017 at 07:27 PM.

I don't believe in it mainly because we don't know what angle the pic was taken. Also, everyone's head shape is different so it's hard to tell male or female based on that. FWIW I've seen "boy" skulls on girls and "girly" ones on boys.

Well that's slightly comforting at least. My "gut" has said girl since I got a positive test but I'm so afraid that's just from hope and not true instinct. We will know for sure Wednesday morning, praying for no gender disappointment this time either way.

I think you're best off comparing baby's skull to your boys' skulls. It's more obvious between kids in the same family IMO.
My daughter's skull was noticeably different from my sons - especially the chin - but I have seen skull guesses be wrong soo many times I think it's hard to tell since most of the differneces are genetic and vary between families.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Atomic, my current husband and I only share the last boy together, he is 5 now. This was his profile at a similar age, can't remember the exact weeks and days but I know it was within a couple weeks. What do you think? (5 year old picture on top, new baby on bottom)

I am not 100% convinced we are getting the full profile in the new baby. With ultrasounds they can adjust the imagery and get a slightly different angle on the skull and I'm not convinced we have the true profile.
They do look different though! On my three the boys were clearly the same (identical which is weird because they have totally different face shapes) and the girl was definitely different. Just not sure if that is detectable on these two ultrasounds, I'm sorry!!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
