Hmm - I'm not too sure, especially if the tech seemed lackadaisical or uninterested.
It is absolutely possible to be a boy but I am just not overwhelmingly convinced in either direction.

Yes, he said he saw the "sausage" straight away... I'll get things reconfirmed at my 20 week scan xx

Well, they do see more than we see on the pics, but just between you and me and all our closest internet friends here, we have had some issues with male ultrasound techs not being terribly careful on gender and telling people boy when the baby was a girl.

Did you see the ‘sausage’ that he pointed out on the screen?? If it were just based on that picture I think I’d ask for a rescan to confirm as 4 weeks is a long time to wait.. it doesn’t look like a sausage to me but it could be the sausages Crown Jewels. At first I thought it looked like labia but looking again it looks slightly disconnected to the bottom area so could be cord... when I had my ds2 (didn’t find out with ds1) there was no doubt he was a boy.

He didn't point it out, basically ask what we thought then said he's already seen the sausage in a profile view (20 seconds into the scan).... i thought he may just be super experienced but now I'm having doubts. Its the separated bit that looks different, my other boys were so so obvious!

what we have to keep in mind is that while the techs are absolutely experts and know their stuf, at the same time, they are just people doing a job and sometimes have days when they're in a hurry or tired or feeling burned out. And gender is by far and away the most obnoxious, irritating part of their job. it has nothing to do with baby's health and yet people are the most interested in that (and in the age of gender reveals, even more so, people are having the techs do all these ridiculous things like stuff teddy bears in boxes and all sorts of things) and so we imagine they're being super careful on gender when really they are much more invested in other aspects of their job. So while obviously guard your heart, sort of assume he was right, but don't paint the nursery or shop just yet.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
