Love LE Diet vs. low-carb in regards to weak willpower

I tried to do the LE diet several months ago and I just did not have the willpower to eat so few calories while eating high carb. Previous to that I was able to lose about 20+ pounds by doing a low carb diet.

My question is: to sway pink, is it better for me to lose more weight (I am still about 20 pounds overweight) by eating low carb, which I know I can do, or TRY my best to do the LE diet without losing very much weight?

Thanks everyone so much! I am hoping atomic will chime in!

I think if you do better losing weight with low carb, then you should try the PCOS version of LE. It's less carby than regular LE because the fat and protein are higher (50-60g protein, 60g fat).

That sounds like a good compromise. So since I don't actually have PCOS, would it put my sway at a disadvantage to do the PCOS version?

Yes just like ks mentioned, you'll do best on this version of LE Diet. https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gen...rt-3-pcos.html

While we once worried it would be more nutritious and could possibly sway blue, we have actually had better results with the PCOS-type diet (and anyone who needs to be on the alternate PCOS-type diet will actually be harming their sway by doing the standard LE Diet, becuase standard LE may raise your blood sugar and in turn testosterone) and I strongly recommend anyone who can do the alternate diet, please do the alternate diet.

Thank you atomic! I am excited to start. We are going to TTC in September, but we have decided to wait to find out the gender until birth, which is going to be excruciating! Is there a thread for those who choose to wait until birth to find out? Or am I a minority of one lol

Yes there are several people, you'd just want to join the due date groups and you can hang together there!
