The Science behind Gender Swaying
The Elephant and the Blind Men
In 2010, the pharmaceutical group Bayer released a modern-day version of ‘The Elephant and the Blind Men” parable in which a television advertisement in the US for their birth control products featured blindfolded women examining different parts of a rhinoceros, and drawing different conclusions about it. The variation on the story is used to demonstrate the need for “the whole picture” of something. This is the same view I have of swaying. You, and only you can look at the data gathered and contained within this website and decide for yourself if swaying is a real option for you and your family. Only you know what is best for you. There are other sites out there that claim to be able to show you the steps to follow with “94% accuracy”! I will not make such false claims. Swaying is just that, swaying to tilt the odds in your favor and anyone that promises you 94% is just trying to sell you something.
What I will do is present the scientific information to you and you can make that decision for yourself. Let’s get started!
What are the odds?
There are 106 males born for every 100 females, so roughly 51/49% male to female ratio. Why are more boys naturally born than girls? The New York Times offered some clues in an article called, “The Weaker Sex.” Although more boys are born, it appears they may be more susceptible to a host of diseases, injuries and more, and soon women actually outnumber men. Here are just a few of their findings:
Facts on Females Living Longer & Stronger
-
Male births slightly outnumber female births, but boys have a higher death rate if born premature: 22 percent compared with 15 percent for girls.
- Overall, more newborn males die than females (5 to 4).
- Sudden infant death syndrome is one and a half times more common in boys than girls.
- As teenagers, boys die at twice the rate of girls.
- Men have fewer infection-fighting T-cells and are thought to have weaker immune
- systems than women.
- By the age of 36, women outnumber men.
- Stroke, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and accidents–all among the top causes of death- kill men at a higher rate than women.
- American men typically die almost six years before women do.
- By the age of 100, women outnumber men eight to one.
So, nature compensates for the “weaker” sex, lol, and more males are born than females to overcome their issues.
Interestingly enough, recent studies, however, have indicated there is a reduced ratio of male to female births in several industrial countries with speculation that it is due largely to environmental pollutants, changes in diet and older moms.

Nevertheless, males still lead the way. If you are a parent of an all-girl family wanting a boy, this news may be helpful to you but if you are an all-boy mom or dad longing for a daughter, you might feel like the odds really are stacked against you!
There are many websites that talk about choosing the sex of your baby naturally, using timing, positions, herbs- even a Chinese calendar that seems to work at least 50% of the time but this community of women have chosen to look at the science behind gender selection. What scientific research is actually out there that substantiates any of these claims? This is what this site will bring to you so you do not have to go searching for it.
So, if men make 50% X-bearing sperm cells and 50% Y-bearing sperm cells, is gender really just up to a toss of a coin? This is where Gender Swaying comes in. There is a lot of research out there that speaks to several different aspects around conception that may have something to do with determining gender. What this site attempts to do is collate all of this information and provide it to you so you can make your gender dreams come true.
So, take a look around, check out the Natural Gender Swaying Forums and hopefully, this information can help you tilt the odds in your favor and bring you your desired gender!
