HCG levels
Hi, this may be a silly question but I wanted to ask it anyway, I know that following the le diet through the 2WW is advised as it aids XX better due to glucose levels etc but would that mean that implantation might occur earlier that it might do otherwise and that hcg levels would be detectable earlier or would it have no affect on those things? Thanks.

No. The glucose levels have to do with giving the right embryo the right conditions to thrive.
How quickly you implant has more to do when you ovulated. You have implantation 6-9 days after ovulation. Knowing your O date lets you know the range when implantation should occur. If you get a positive test at like 8-9DPO, chances are you most likely Oed earlier than you thought and are really 10-12DPO. Make sense?

Yes that makes sense thank you, I just wondered if the conditions assisted the embryo with implantation or not but that's great thank you. I had a very faint positive yesterday and today and I was thinking I'm 11/12 dpo but not sure now as thought the line would be darker than it was so maybe I o'd later than I thought.

you cannot tell how far along you are from darkness of pregnancy tests EVER. it depends on what your level of HCG was in your body when you conceived and that runs anywhere from 0-5, then the hcg doubles after that. so someone who starts off with a level of 5 hcg will get a BFP quicker and darker than someone who started off with 0 hcg in their system, even if the person with a 0 hcg got pregnant sooner.
