    Back pain, cramping and bleeding?

    Hello!

I ovulated late monday or sometime Tuesday, and today i have been cramping, minor sharp back pains and now some bloody mucous. I know it is WAY too early for implantation bleeding. Indid ovulated 5/6 days earlier than normal, so i guess im a little concerned (immature egg? Early period?)

    Any thoughts?

Earlier than normal or earlier than average?? (do you usually O late, or are you saying you Oed on CD 8 or something like that)

If you usually O late, it's ok to O early. and even if you Oed on CD 8 or so it can still end up in pregnancy.

The short answer is "the body is weird and sometimes does odd stuff for no apparent reason". The long answer is, I suspect this is bleeding from the cervix from a big secondary estrogen surge (you release more estrogen in the LP to help maintain the lining, and this can make your cervix soften and even bleed sometimes, and make EWCM that makes a little teensy bit of blood really noticeable) OR it may be a really goofy month and you're already getting AF.
