No AF and BFNs

I don't know what's going on. I missed AF this month, it was due last Wednesday and to date it hasn't showed (yay), but everytime I do a preg test, its neg(wtf). What is going on?? I was very sick starting the week before Oing ie flu and tummy bug combo, with fever for over a week. I lost 8kg over 2 weeks and 2 inches off my waist (YAY). I had antibiotics and as timing would have it I started them few days after Oing (swaying girl).

Do you think I'm late because I'm preg but the tests aren't showing it yet, or is it a delayed O and therefore delayed AF because I was sick?? Arrrgh agonising

oh and I've been cramping, headache, lower back ache, CM, sore puffy b00bs (I think they're bigger, but hubby says theyre the same ), slight heartburn, lightheadedness when standing after sitting for a while, random nausea, I've gone off eating meat and want veges and fruit instead ( I was like that after coming off the flu), always hungry.... hmmm

Which symptoms are possible preg and which are recovering from the flu?

I'm guessing O was delayed due to you being ill, this delaying AF.

I hope you feel lots better soon and fingers crossed if you were making attempts you may even have caught the late egg

I suspect you were so ill your body decided not to ovulate and has delayed it. Hence your AF is delayed.

Now the issue becomes, if you had unprotected sex in this time frame and ovulated a few days late, you actually CAN be pregnant still, but it's not registering on the pg tests yet. Or, you can be having symptoms related to O that resemble preggo symptoms.

I'm so sorry this for past me! The same thing happened to me when TTCing this little one. Sickness delayed O for me, opks didn't work, and AF was late. No BFP that cycle.

OPKs dont seem to work on me. I had the get a blood test from the Dr to see if I was Oing, and I am.

Ive got brown stringy mucus spotting now. Not sure if its implantation bleed (fingers crossed) or start of AF (most likely).
Its been a looooong 3ww this time.

Ok in that case I'd have you be in with attempts every 4 days to cover.

Can you think back 14 days or so when you were probably ovulating?? Any symptoms at that time?
