Blue Sway attempt
Came across this site in May when we decided to ttc and do our second boy sway. With my son, I only did the "No bd until positive opk" however looking back I did follow some of the things you suggest here, such as lemon water and exercise.
So this time around, I googled and found the HE diet and did as much of that as possible.
I drank lemon water, probably a good 2 or even 3 glasses a day because all I drink besides my one cup of coffee is water, so why not make it lemon? I took my kids swimming prob 3 or 4 times a week for a good 3 hours at a time, ate high protein, added extra salt, drank coconut water, and tried to snack throughout the day, never skipping breakfast. I honestly did pretty much everything I could without disrupting my life too much.
We did the deed every other day, until positive opk and then did it every day. Unfortunately, I had 3 positive opks this month, go figure, so we did it 4 days in a row. I hope that didn't screw us over. But I figured with the HE diet, my body was pretty damn alkaline so hopefully those girl swimmers wouldn't make it.
Do you think the 4 in a row may have screwed up our boy sway?

I just asked a similar question! As long as it's in the fertile period, any attempt counts towards the recommended 3. If I'm understanding your chart right, you had attempts at 0-2, 0-1, 0 and 0+1, right? Or is it 0-3, 0-2, 0-1 and 0? Either way, those are in line with the TTC Boy recommendation on here.

Thank you! It's -2, -1, O and O+1.
I was just worried that 4 would have drained too much lol

Your sway sounds a lot like when I conceived my first two boys! With DS1 I was eating lots of protein, snacking a bunch, and we were DTD every night for a week before ovulation. lol You have a great shot at another blue bundle. Good luck and blue dust!

Nope, while I know it is not what they say to do on some sites, O-2 and O-1 attempts CANNOT be "draining" because many of the swimmers from those attempts stay alive in the cervical crypts and just wait for the egg to show up. So you're only adding more and more swimmers to the equation. The only draining attempts are ones that are not in the fertile window.
Don't even worry about the most depleted attempt, the O+1 - that had no chance of the egg anyway.
What you did was very much what many of us moms of all boys did when we got our boys.
Your family is beautiful BTW!
