Hashimoto
So we have been trying to conceive for a year and a half with 2 miscarriages along the way. I was just diagnosed with hashimoto's disease. So now I am excited that I have a reason why we could not have a successful pregnancy. We conceived our daughter with one try 5 years ago now. But I'm reading mixed up things about swaying for boy. Does this make you more likely to sway girl or boy. Really would like a boy this go round.

Oh yes while it's obviously a bummer to hear you have a disease, it's actually great news because it's totally treatable and they'll be able to help you get and stay pregnant now.
We don't know that Hashimoto's in and of itself sways. BUT it often presents alongside PCOS-tendencies which DO sway blue and additionally, women with autoimmune diseases also seem to have way more boys for reasons we can only guess at.
I would definitely suggest you be very cautious with your diet swaying, though. DO NOT start eating tons of potatoes, bananas, dried fruit, and drinking lots of fruit juices as they might be too carby for you. NO skim dairy, skim dairy is the devil for fertility. Full fat only. You can have a great blue sway without those things, focusing more on lean meats, full fat dairy, fresh fruit and vegetables (being cautious with the super carby, super sugary stuff), and small amounts of whole grains.
While most people should gain a small amount of weight for a blue sway I advise you to try to hold steady and to exercise, particularly weight training.

Thank you so much for your reply, I have been nervous and excited about a actual diagnosis. I was told to eat "clean" by the doctor. So I appreciate your help in the sway part of this!

Quick question, I know you say tea over coffee. I'm just wondering if 1 cup of coffee in the morning will lean me pink. I have tied the tea in the morning and it's just not my thing. I dont drink any other caffeine during the day.

1 cup will not wreck a sway, ideally you'd give it up though.

Ok I can do it, one more now that I'm thinking about it. DH uses chew. How important is it for him to stop?

If he's willing, it may help. We aren't sure about chew, but smoking tobacco has been quite pink friendly,

So how far out would be best to stop this ? According to my calendar I should be ovulating around the 26th of this month. Should we wait longer to try?

As far in advance as possible, but given the time you've been trying I'd have you continue trying. I suspect the reason for the losses is the Hashimoto's and now that that has been corrected, you'll likely conceive quickly - but in case you don't, I hate to see you skip any month that may be a viable attempt.
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
