Boymama light sway- It's a Girl!
TTC a Girl Sway Attempt
Gender Result:
GIRL!
DW Age:
28
DH Age:
35
Current Children's Gender(s)
boy-4
boy-3
Number of Months TTC
15
Did you purchase and follow a GD Personalized Plan?
Yes, initially
DIET
Did you follow a diet plan?
I followed a strict diet plan for 8 months but stopped ovulating so stopped the diet.
If yes to diet, which one did you most follow?•LE(Low Everything)
Initially low everything, but no diet when I conceived or for the 4 months before that. I still mostly skipped breakfast out of habit and my diet was definitely on the low nutrient side, but I ate meat and didn't think about it much as all.
Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
Didn't have breakfast regularly, only a coffee with milk if I did.
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
I had a pretty girl friendly diet for the year before we conceived, but only 8 months of this was on the strict side.
Did you skip breakfast regularly?
Maybe four times a week?
Did DH change his diet with you?
No
Comments regarding DH's diet-
We were not actively swaying when we conceived so no changes.
DId you consume alcohol?•
A couple of drinks per week
DId you try to limit caffeine?
No, I did not factor that into my sway
Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
White bread, lots of carbs and pretty low protein in general. Still had lots of fruit and veg.

WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
Not sure, MAYBE 20ish?
lost around - didn't lost any and definitely heavier than four months prior to conceiving.
Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments?
couch potato for when we conceived, but I did extreme exercise for six months of our ttc journey and lost too much weight and stopped ovulating.
I think the single biggest factor in our sway is that the four months leading up to conception was without a doubt the most stressful of my whole life. We moved continents to a country where I didn't speak the language, my children had a lot of struggles adjusting and we had no support. It was a very, very stressful time and I just felt unhealthy in general.
THINGS in VG and CONCEPTION DATE(CD) INFO
pH Before Starting a Sway Program, if known
not known
Any VG potions used?•NO
CM pH at attempt
didnt check
DH pH
didnt check
How many BD attempts did you make for the BFP cycle?
6
BD Dates according to Ovulation• Each day through ovulation
BD Position
Unknown
Did you Jump and Dump?•Probably
SUPPLEMENTS USED
DW Supplements•
None
DH Supplements•
None - we did away with all of this when I didn't get pregnant
Any additional supplement info?
We did clomid for three months after I stopped ovulating and still didn't fall pregnant so had to give up traditional swaying.
Did you do anything with Ions?
no
Moon Phase during conception?
unknown
Did you use any Old Wives Tales?
no
Things that make me feel great about my sway:
Let's be honest, it wasn't really a sway, but I have added the details because I honestly believe that the stress in my life and overall poor diet choices is what resulted in a girl. I just didn't have time to look after myself. Or, someone could see how much effort I put in last year when I didn't fall pregnant and thought I deserved it!!
