Any breastfeeding moms sway for girl? What was your diet like exactly?
Hi!
I was just wondering if anyone was breastfeeding while swaying for a girl? I am currently breastfeeding my 9 month old son and swaying for a girl. If you did, what was your diet? Did you have a girl?

I’m also swaying while breastfeeding so I would love to hear what others say!

Yes I did! I skipped breakfast (well, pushed it back till about 11 am on average) and during the day I ate things like PB sandwiches, American cheese sandwiches, bagel and cream cheese, hummus wraps, bean burritos, baked potatoes, and the occasional salad. Then for dinner I ate whatever the family was having just that I made it without the meat - so potatoes, pasta, rice, vegetables. While I was swaying I lost all my baby weight I had gained with DS 4 (which was a LOT LOL) down to BMI 21, my lowest weight I'd ever conceived at. I had coffee and beer, and with my sons I did not ever have those things while TTC.

Yes I did for my last baby. I was breastfeeding my 12 month old son and I had my first girl after 5 boys. I did the higher value version diet as I just couldn’t go too low because I was still nursing and felt I needed a little more.

I want everyone who is nursing to eat 1800-2000 cals, 50-60 g protein and fat. Do not drop down to the lower levels of the LE Diet if nursing. And if you're very tall and/or exercising a lot you may need to up it even more.

I also breastfed while swaying girl and have just found out that we are hashing a girl my little boy was just under two when I started the sway and just over two when we conceived. I was only feeding once in the morning and once in the evening but still had a decent milk supply and felt that I really needed more calories - I was fine in the morning to skip breakfast but especially after the evening feed when I had dinner I felt both really thirsty and hungry. Ended up having lots of water with dinner which helped me to fill up and hydrate and then wine with dinner and skyped into having chocolate after dinner too. Meant that I was pushing the top end of the LE limits and often over but with exercising cardio 6-7 days a week for 60 mins or more I just felt like I needed something and chocolate at the end of the day was usually it! Lunches were usually white wraps with a load of salad and something like cheese or beans mixed in with fruit after or sandwiches/ toast with same sorts of fillings. Dinner was a LOT of low carb veg chopped up and mixed with a sauce (usually tomato based, low fat/ sugar option) with a decent sized portion of rice or gnocchi or rice noodles or sometimes some pasta/ stuffed pasta. Sometimes also a salad on the side. Several coffees each day and a can of diet Coke or two. Def more than many would probably eat on LE but I never felt super hungry and could maintain breastfeeding and exercise and my weight (stayed around BMI 21). Importantly, I didn't stress too much either as felt everything was coming together to feel lower in condition but not too much. Hope that makes sense and is useful in some way

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
