My DH passed away...
I joined this site in hopes to adding a boy to my family. I asked a million questions along the way. I did all the tricks to help ensure we would have a boy. Recently my DH has passed away suddenly. I am in so much pain. And now when I look at my lil girl, I think I wish she just had a sibling to keep her company. No matter if it was a boy or a girl. Now I could careless if I had a boy. Another girl would have been just fine. Just a second child. And now theirs nothing that can change that. My story is really just to share that I know we can not control gender disappointment, but it doesnt matter if a baby is a boy or girl, it is a blessing from god, and I would give anything to just have another baby with my DH. I miss him so badly.

It's better to look back on life and say: "I can't believe I did that" than to look back and say "I wish I did that".

Praying- I am so very sorry for your profound loss. I know our words can't touch what you're feeling right now, but I think I can speak for everyone that our hearts are truly breaking for you. It's so humbling to hear something like this- and you're right, it gives us perspective about gd living in the hopes for tomorrow when we should be cherishing each day. Hugs to you and your daughter, I hope you have a good support system to hold you up.
