Took an FRER this AM 10DPO and there is a veeeeery faint line, almost like an evap but it showed up within a couple of mins and didn't go away.... took the internet cheapie too and it did the same peekaboo thing with the disappearing line... took an LH (I am a serious POAS, no doubt about it) , and they ARE getting progressively darker... all good signs! I am taking another round tonight!!!
OMG RIBBONS, YOU ARE PREGNANT, I JUST KNOW IT!!!!!

OMG RIBBONS, YOU ARE PREGNANT, I JUST KNOW IT!!!!!
I think so too but I'm trying not to get my hopes up :) I should know for sure on Mother's Day - that's when AF is due! (Great time to tell my mom!)
MyDream... I have been feeling like AF is going to come for a few days now... maybe you should test?? What are your symptoms? I found a really great site that has gotten me through the 2WW called countdowntopregnancy.com - it's a free membership, it allows you to compare symptoms/tests etc with others, it's really fun!!

Suregena - are you taking Vitex? Vitex did that to me (made my periods shorter and lighter
Yes... Vitex AF to O.
My diet isn't as strong... at least I started it six weeks ago except I was having trouble getting strict so my weight was at a standstill. I am now on it strict so may be down 3 lbs, tops, around ovulation. Not the greatest but I didn't want to completely stop ovulation like last time. :(
Hubby on just 1 licorice root per day. Last time he did
3 x a day but I really want to get pregnant this month.
He's started FR yesterday.
We will be doing multiple attempts.
I will take cetirizine.
We're both already vegetarian and have been for years.
I'm still breastfeeding my 2 year old.
Hopefully these things will be good enough....

It's hard to say. I was the most beautiful 27/28 day cycle ever, and then I began swaying stuff in December and my first TTC cycle, I suspect my ovulation was delayed-delayed-delayed... which I wasn't expecting, so I got confused, and then even more confused, and gave up. Think my period started January 5th and my next one wasn't until February 29th (if memory is correct). I had stopped the vitex around January 20th or so at that point.
After that, my cycles have been struggling to find that magic normal cycle length, but have gotten progressively 'corrected' each month... so who knows what this month will bring. My last cycle ended on CD29... so I suspect everything is normalizing now. I started taking vitex again the started of CD1 so hopefully since I'm not having rapid-fire weight loss, things will be okay this time around...
I still don't know when to start using OPKs! EEEEK! Do you think I should order some cheapies ASAP so I just just start right away? I don't want to miss it. Oh man. :( *has nightmares of a repeat of last time*

Suregena, I would TOTALLY buy some internet cheapies. They have always worked great for me. I also had some pretty crazy cycles and had a hard time pinpointing O - those things saved my life (along with my CBFM, but they were both always pretty much in sync)
The great thing about the cheapies is they are so inexpensive that you can take them multiple times a day if you feel like you're getting close due to timing, EWCM etc. My cycle is (now, b/c of Vitex!) 30-32 days long and I O around CD18. I've been starting my OPKs at CD9 at 4pm-ish, then at CD12 I start doing both late afternoon test and FMU. Once I see a bit of a "fade-in" I start doing them even more than that, so I can catch my surge as early as possible. Of course, it may be overkill as I am a bit of a POAS addict :) but those cheapies are SOOO worthwhile IMO, and they seem to work great for me!
suregena
May 10th, 2012, 03:52 PM
I guess I'm wary because they were allllll negative last time (but, duh, of course they were... it turns out my O was actually delayed in the end!)
Off to eBay I go... I'm on CD6 today! *yeeee*

Suregena, I never had any success with IC OPKs in the past - they were always negative! So I have been using the Clearblue digitals which always give me a smiley face. However they are SO expensive that I sought some advice from my swaying friends and Sweetsister recommended a different brand from ebay which I got a positive on this month and they were very cheap!!
I will find the link and repost!

My doc did not give me any at all, but I was told from people who had it to take Ibuprofen and I did. I would say take a valum or xanax if I had to do it again LOL!!! Ask your doc to get you a script for something prior to it like sometimes you dentist will prescribe if you have anxiety with dental work.

Drats! I just bought 25 of the cheapies I used last time... would it be overkill to get those as well, considering I also have some Clear blue regular ones and digital ones as well? Or should I just stick with that and hope for the best? That means I'd have around 35 of them total (25 cheapies + the other better brands I already have). Do you think that will suffice or do I need more than that to make sure I catch the surge?
Ribbons
May 10th, 2012, 05:39 PM
Suregena - I wasn't too sure of the internet cheapies at first (and it does look like they don't work for some people) so I did mine alongside a more expensive brand to compare... they both came out with the same result, so I stuck with the cheapies. Maybe you could do that for this cycle, since you have some of the better ones too? Do you have enough of the good ones for the critical dates?? That way if this cycle doesn't work out, at least you can save $$ next cycle and be confident that the cheapies won't fail you when you need them the most!
suregena
May 10th, 2012, 05:43 PM
I just bought 25 cheapies and I have two boxes of the better ones... so hopefully enough. I guess I have enough to do 2 a day for two weeks if necessary... but obviously I'll probably start with one. I'm temping, also, and will be checking my cervix/CM every day. Still got some spotting from my period but it's pretty much over I think.... onto the next part!

HAHA! Whoa valum and Xanax!? A bit too strong for me so I'll just stick to ibuprofen. GOSH I'm scared now..the closer and closer I get to the day the more nervous I become when I was all excited to get the done and over with just a few days ago only because if my tubes are blocked I heard the HSG can clear out your tubes so that's exactly what I need

Now I feel terrible cause I have scared you to death! I am so sorry. I never intended to do that. I am the one freaky case where mine was just terrible. Yours will be fine and they do these tests all the time. I would maybe call the office and talk to them about your fears and see what they say you can do to make you more relaxed and have a better experience than I did. Again I am so sorry if I have made you more scared than you really should be. I promise it will be alright and really does not take that long if they can get to your cervix unlike mine that hides for dear life!!!

My body is not dealing well with being so nutritionally devoid - im too thin, my skin is horrible, i have shed so much hair that it has thinned out to the point where i am going to have to chop at least 15 CM off, i have seriously lost half my thickness - i have waist length hair (that took me years of pampering and TLC to grow and was one of the only things i really 'liked' about myself physically)
Im constantly weak and tired. PLEASE LET THIS BE MY MONTH!!!

im thinking 10, 11, 12, 13?
or should i make it 11,12,13,14?
because it needs to be consecutive doesnt it? If we DTD then dont DTD again for 2 days then that defeats the purpose of the FR doesnt it? we've also got LR in the mix for DH, and rephresh for me.

How long has your DH been taking LR? Have you noticed a change in his output / "ability"? We managed to get all 7 consecutive FRs in, but JUST barely... he couldn't perform on O day - obviously it was enough though :) I am not sure about doing just 4 FRs instead of 7 consecutive... maybe you should ask atomic... that sounds like it would not be as good as no FR's at all, I think it might "reboot" him a bit? I am not sure

I am not sure
i think i didnt explain myself properly...
DH is doing 10 fr's and THEN we are going to DTD - so the fr's is just him helping himself, and dtd will be that actual babymaking :) just not sure which days to be doing the baby making??
OR do i do less fr, about 7-8 and then extra DTD?
the LR doesnt seem to change his output - just the fr.
Last couple of months he has done 10FR's followed by 5-6 DTD and he really struggled towards the end. DH felt it was pointless towards the end as it was bugger all coming out, and it didnt 'shoot' up - rather dribbled out.
baby love - its not that im in tune with my body! i wish :)
I used OPK's, and temping and charting.
My temps consistantly dip right before ovulation - then rise straight after..

Ah, got it :) 7-10 FRs are recommended before starting DTD, but I would go with more rather than less so you can make sure you get them all in... I started 9 days before I expected to O, and good thing b/c I O'd two days earlier than I expected! So - I ended up with 7 FRs, followed by 3 DTDS (tried for four, but DH couldn't perform) - he also said the same thing, that it was pointless b/c all of our DTDs were "dribble" LOL but obviously SOME of the swimmers made it  If you can predict when you will O, perhaps try 8 or 9 FR's instead of 10? Maybe that will give you an extra 1 or 2 days of "oomph" for DTD...

Oh OK understood..I will have to take the risk of the guessing game this month to figure out when I "O" & since I have the HSG coming up I will stop vitex Monday. May has been such a positive month for others I'm hoping it'll be my sticky month as well

Good luck Suregena! Glad spotting has stopped and you're ready to go! If you desperately want to get pg this cycle I think cutting LR back is probably a good idea - it does affect some men more than others though, and I assume even more the older your dh is. I would think some LR is better than none and x3 a day might be too much for some. I think cutting back to x1 or x2 a day would still impact his count, maybe double check with AS, but I think that would be fine and probably quite a smart sway plan for you if you really want to make the most of this cycle. Best of luck!

Kraizy - I agree with sweetsister, I kept second-guessing my symptoms too b/c I seemed to almost be "making them up" in my head - even now at 12DPO and with a really STRONG positive this morning (posted the pic on my BFP thread :D) I still have no nausea, no fatigue and just mildly tingly BBs that I would probably not even notice if I wasn't paying close attention!! Don't worry, 7DPO is still really early :)

I think you maybe O'd early on CD17 (or late on CD16)... since your cervix moved down and you got a negative on that day.
Your cervix is high today though - that could be a good sign?? Mine moved up around 6DPO and stayed high!!

He's 37, I'm 26, we're both vegetarian as is, he's thinnish/average however compared to before our first child he has put on a little bit extra but he's still skinny with an ale/beer tum! He's healthy but was recently diagnosed with asthma. We got pregnant rapid-fire first month trying the last times (I've been pregnant three times, but the first two ended in an early miscarriage.)

Kiesse how dpo are you? and already getting sick, that is a good sign!

May 14th, 2012, 04:26 PM
Well, just got back :( it's too early to see anything. Waiting for my dr's office to call back and discuss results, but I got a copy of the report and it's reporting a hemorrhagic cyst on my right ovary (not sure if that's due to ovulation or other factors?), nothing on my left ovary, and nothing in the uterus. The tech reassured me that it's likely too early to tell, and I imagine my dr will order another scan in the next week or two. Still waiting for my blood beta appt to be scheduled - that should also tell me more.
The part that I am worried about is that it's my right tube that is messed up. If I did indeed ovulate from my right ovary, my egg would have had to travel across to my left tube.

I have my fingers crossed for you Ribbons and hope everything turns out and that it is just too early to see anything. When you get your Beta done, how long do you have to wait for results?
Kraizy - I am 8dpo at the mo. I dont think that me feeling sick is a sign of the pregnancy as i think it would still be too early to get that sort of symptom??
More early pregnancy symptoms would be great to know? The one thing that is different this month apart from feeling sick is my CP is stil really high. It dropped just after O but only for like 2 days and its back up really high like it is around ovulation.
I feel really bloated and have so much gas. Have not eaten much in the last couple of days due to feeling sick (there are bugs doing their rounds here) So not sure, i not holding my breath. With my last 2 pregnancies i always just knew from a few days past O i had a certain feeling and just knew i was preganant, I dont feel like that at the moment. Ohhh man can we just fast forward a week. I am trying to hold out on doing a test as i know its too early but i really am a POAS addict and will take 5 a day and for some reason still take a few after a BFP??? why i have no idea but i can not afford to do that so am trying with all my might not to take any!

Ribbons I am so glad your doc is checking you early. I know your bean is in there and will show itself in a few weeks. Maybe you Oed from the left and they just don't see a cyst on it?
Kiesse we are so TWW buddies with me at 9dpo and you at 8dpo. I have one test left, so I want to make sure I am far enough along for it to count. If I could afford it, I might test early, but really I am terrified to this month as it is my last cycle of Clomid. I know there is next cycle, but then what, no more Clomid in my system to help me O. I just don't know if I can keep going. I don't know if you can get symptoms that quick, but I know with my DS1, we conceived or had unprotected sex on Dec 5 and I got so sick I had to run to the bathroom over the smell of lunch cooking on Dec 11, which was just 6 days later. Could have been nothing, but I found out I was pregnant on Dec 22. So I think your sickness just might be related to being pregnant.

Awww I hope so but i dont think so. There are a few people off work with a horrible bug, coming out both end kinda bug. I was vomiting yesterday (3 times) but just feel yuck today it feels like travel sickness. On sat i went away and blamed it on travel sunday i blamed it on travel as we came home but yesterday i didnt travel so i blamed it on the bug and today well i will blame it on not having much food in my system :)
I dont think it is pregnancy, i just dont feel pregnant, i do not want to get my hopes up.

Kiesse - your symptoms sound like mine!! I got nauseous (REALLY nauseous) around 5-6DPO but thought it was just something I ate. It probably was, b/c the nausea never came back :) however, bloating, gas, feeling a bit like AF was going to come and for SURE the high cervix tipped me off. I also had a bit of "tingly" in my BBs but it comes and goes, still BF so I can't really rely on that too much.
The funny thing about not "feeling" pg for me: With all three of my pgs (including this one) I didn't really "feel" pregnant... With all of my chemicals, plus my ectopic, I was SURE I was pregnant before I got a positive! I think that maybe keeps me from getting my hopes up and I try really hard to ignore it... I think it's largely psychological so I wouldn't worry about not "feeling" pg one iota :)
I vote that you're pg. Test on 12DPO with an FRER!
A great website to check out is countdowntopregnancy.com.... it's a free membership and you can compare your symptoms (and test pics!) with other pg women, really fun and a great way to pass the time in the 2WW.

Not sure how long I have to wait for results on the beta... they will be testing me every couple of days for about a week, I think I go in for the first draw on Wednesday (no childcare tomorrow :( so I have to wait 2 days, urgh) My dr seems pretty confident that it is a healthy, sticky bean though b/c he said my urine sample this AM was one of the strongest he's seen for 14DPO - his first comment was, "well, you're DEFINITELY pregnant!"
I will be getting another TV ultrasound two weeks from now, when I am 6+ weeks - he hopes to also catch the heartbeat then!

Ok so there is a couple of us in the 2ww then!
Ribbons i always knew with my others (4 Pregnancies) I have 2 boys and have had 2 terminations, Please do not judge me for that it was for personal reasons and a personal choice.
The first thing i noticed was around 6dpo was my nipples changed, i would get extra wee pimple like bumps around them. that was always my first giveaway everytime apart from my last pregnancy, actually i didnt know i was pregnant with the last, my partner actually came up and patted my tummy and joked and said when are ya due? and it got me thinking shit my period is late and took a test that night and sure enough i was. After a long talk we opted to terminate as I had only had surgery a week prior and the doctor advised us that there was a very very high chance that the baby would have problems and deformalities, we had 3 ultrasounds and all were abnormal so we opted to terminate for these reasons, i know it sounds selfish but it is what was best for our family at the time, after that i decided that i could never undergo another termination, it was so hard to deal with and I had counselling for about a year after.

Ribbons, what was you CM like in the tww? arrggh i just want it to be next week already!
I will be keeping busy, my baby is gonna be 4 on saturday! my stepson is 4 today! so we had Stepsons birthday party on sunday, my son will have his this coming saturday, I have really spoilt him sooo much! just having trouble deciding what kind of cake to do! he loves motorbikes but it will be so hard to attempt to do a bike cake! I want to make it extra special for him as its his first real birthday party where he will have friends over and not just family. His sperm donor (nmy ex hubby) is a dick and is not coming because my partner will be there. ex hubby lives in aussie and flyes home every 8 weeks for 2 weeks so he can see the kids, well thats what he says, he picks them up for an hour after school each day and then drops them back to me and will have them for 1 night (not even 24hours) on the weekend then have them one night the floowing weekend. i had an argument with him la few days ago about DS2 birthday as i had hired a hall to have it so him and his family wouldnt feel uncomfortable (as it would make them feel uncomfortable at my place) so hired a hall and he said he wouldnt come as my partner will be there, told him that it is not about him, me or my partner, told him he doesnt need to even look at my partner but can he please put our son first just for an hour but he wont, just proves just how selfish he is. arrgghh sorry i know off topic just neede to vent!

Kiesse, no worries, it's not my place to judge :hug2: you made the best decision for you and your family at the time. That must have been really hard.
I had very little CM after O, then around 6-7DPO a bit of EWCM and for the past couple of days a LOT of EWCM! (I'm 14DPO today)
Happy birthday to your two sons! How sweet that they are the same age - I bet they will be best friends for life :) Sorry your ex is such a *@#$* - I can't believe he won't even come to his own son's b-day party for an hour!! I am so lucky that mine signed off rights to DS1 before he was even born... current DH adopted him.

Ribbons...thinking of you and hope the tests come back soon! The waiting is the worst part :)
So, I think I'm also in the 2ww. Probably another bust this month....so frustrating. My only weird symptom is yesterday I had a backache and back twinges on my lower back on the right side. I never get back pain, ever. . . so that was odd. Boobs a little sore but that happens even on cycles where I get AF, so thats nothing new. Honestly like another poster said I knew both times (or suspected) when I had chemicals this year that I was pregnant due to symptoms (metallic taste in my mouth, vivid dreams, cramping, a tiny bit of nausea) but with my DSs I had ZERO symptoms with the exception of DS1 I threw up (but I also drank too much the night before -- I didn't know I was pregnant). I didn't stick to my plan of DTD every other day...so I might have missed the fertile window (especially since I don't test with OPK anymore). I keep having people ask me "are you going for the third? you always said you wanted three"....I'm trying!!! :( I hope we all get our BFP this month! I added baby aspirin this month and increased my folic acid....so maybe somehow that will help????

Ribbons - the 2 boys best of friends??? Can you not hear that screaming and yelling coming all the way from NZ? listen out and then you will know its me and them! They have their moments, when we have my step son for the weekend it means there are 3 boys and one always gets left out so there is always arguments and tantrums! especially since step son is an only child, when he is with his mum there is no competition or sharing and although he is not spoilt he does get everything he asks for when he asks for it like a drink something to eat etc, when he comes to ours its hard for him to share etc, so its just getting him use to it, and we only have him every 2nd weekend.
I am soooo tempted to take a test, its taking all my wilpower not too!

Ribbons - Try not to worry, it is far too early to worry and I am sure you will get a good scan in a couple of weeks
AFM, 7 DPO today, really trying not to symptom spot as have been here for too many previous months. I am planning to test on Sunday at 12DPO if AF doesn't show her ugly face first!
Have a good day people. xx

Hmm just a question, out of curiosity how do you tell if a test has an evap line or if its a bfp. Just curious to know the difference

PeeOnAStick.com (http://www.peeonastick.com) is a fun place to go to learn about prego tests.. but evaps are usually very thin and gray.
ghostlines are thicker... and a BFP has PINK in it!
Another great place to go to see a lot of prego tests is www.countdowntopregnancy.com They have a gallery of them and a chance for site members to vote!
Here's a prime example of an evap:

I am really trying not to but even my DH scolded me for using my last FRER, but you know this am I asked God for a sign to test and he gave me one. If we are preggers my due date would be Jan 26, and when I looked at the clock in my bathroom it said 6:26 so seeing the 26 I tested. I am just so down we did not conceive again this month.

But....then I read this on FF
"If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 to 10 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation."
So I am hopeful again...I guess....

Look at this link: Pregnancy Test Results by Brand - First Response Early Result | Countdown to Pregnancy (http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/brand-chart.php?hptbrandid=1)
It says that almost 30% of tests by pg women are negative on 10DPO with FRER... even my 10DPO was sooooo faint I could barely even see the line! Try again on 12 or 13DPO - you should get a better idea then :hug2:

The reason I asked about the tests and evap lines is because I couldn’t wait any longer and gave in and tested yesterday. I held on for ages and ages, went to the loo and peed on the stick! (peed quite forceful as I was busting!) Anyway as I was watching the test window the control line looked really faint (might of peed too much?) so put it down and kept checking it, it was like it needed to dry a little to read it right as on this test the lines a blue and ofcourse when the pee goes up the window it goes the greyish colour. Anyways put it down and went and checked about 20 mins later and there was a 2nd line. Doesn’t look like an evap line tho. I havnt said anything to anyone as I know its too early so you are the only ones I have told, I tested again this morning but it was negative, How to false positives work? As there could be a chance that this is a false positive.

Any feedback on my chart is much appreciated in the coming days! Fertilityfriend says I am going to O on the 28th(!!! what?!) so I really just don't know... trying not to stress out. Negative OPKs so far. Think I'll start Cetirizine tomorrow? Hubby has been FRing since CD5.
I am checking CP/CM daily now, too. There are so many variants to check for, and I'll be honest... sometimes it seems like one thing or another! Open? "Medium"? Argh! High? Medium (again with the mediums!)? Low? Etcetera.
My weight has stagnated again... think it's from those delicious cookies! Thankfully, they're gone now!
*tries not to stress*
I've already had some little hubby "fights" over the weekend... hope that doesn't ruin my sway, haha. He began eating my mini pitas that I had got because they fit in ideally within my dinners, and I jumped on him like an angry boar. And then he was like, "Fine! I won't have any little fun things to eat!" and I said, "You already started toasting them! Just eat them now!" and he said, "NO!" and I said, "Well... they're toasted, they can't go back in the package, they'll taste terrible! Great! Wasted food!" and threw them into the garbage.
I think this diet is getting to me again... no wonder I made and overate sugar cookies yesterday! Oy vey.
Then today I've just felt terrible all day... very wobbly. Then I ate too many jelly beans at work and had a couple of the last sugar cookies (except for the ones I packaged and threw in the freezer) and we went on an hour and a half walk after dinner... at 8pm! So, naturally, now I have a headache.
Sigh. Anyway, where in the world was I? I just want to have an obvious ovulation and get things in as planned.

As for me I still don't really feel pregnant although I am finding during the day that I'm feeling queasy if I haven't eaten enough, so I'm trying to graze, but think I'm still stuck in the swaying diet of 3 meals a day! I have to get up at least once every night to pee already! And tiredness is starting to wear me down a bit now too. I've been having a lot of painful cramps, had to take some Panadol the other day was hurting so much. Had my first dr app yesterday. I weed in a cup for him and he tested it and after about 5 seconds he said woah, you're definitely pregnant! So my test came up really positive which is comforting. Hedid an internal and was checking by pressing in certain areas whether it could be an ectopic because of all the pain I'm having on one side. He said it doesnt feel like it to him but he wants me to get an early u/s this week just to check. Im pretty excited to get to see my bubba very soon, and at 7 weeks it will have a heartbeat! Just hoping that everything is all ok and it's not an ectopic!

If we were to start DTD early ... how boy-territory are we talking here?
My husband is on shift from tomorrow, so I'll see him early in the morning and after 10pm at night each day for four days, except Saturday/Sun where I'll see him Sat AM but then not again until after 10pm Sunday.
I'm getting so scared/nervous about somehow
Missing my window, despite the OPKs, because my chart feels confusing to me! :(

Lala -- Congrats on your pregnancy! I had intense pain on my side with my first and was also worried it might be ectopic. They performed an ultrasound at 6 weeks 3 days and everything was fine - he even had a heartbeat. They never figured out what the pain was and thankfully it went away by 8 weeks. GL!

Right... had some twinging during lunch so decided to check my CM/CP again and noticed my cervix felt a little softer than it did this morning, my cervix opening seemed a little more open than this morning... and I managed to collect a little. It of CM that stretched when pulled between my fingers. Think I'm gearing up?? Think a positive OPK could happen soonish? I'm not drinking anymore fluid today and will test again when I get home from work. And probably start cetirizine...

Sounds like you're gearing up to me, Suregena! Are you planning to start DTD right at +OPK, or before? I started before +... got in 2 days before my + and I think it did the trick for me. (I have a CBFM to tell me when that was, but my EWCM starts becoming noticeable about 2 days prior to +, maybe you are also in that range?) I would go ahead and start DTD now, can't hurt!!

Yeah, I figured to start DTD at fade in and do multiple attempts as I do want to get pregnant this month and because so many people say timing doesn't matter. Think it matters to have so much semen around in there or if shallow release is even important? Definitely having mild left sided twinging this afternoon so going to start DTD tonight. Hubby has FR once or twice a day since CD5 so should be okay?

BabyLove -- oh wow, yeah that would be very beneficial to know! I hope you don't mind me asking, but did you have any symptoms that indicated maybe your tubes were blocked that led you to take this test?
I had 2 chemicals in 4 months (Jan & April) and my doctor thinks it's just bad eggs (because I'm 40) so they "probably had a genetic/chromosomal problem" and stopped developing shortly after implantation. But I'm worried that maybe I just have an implantation issue...my progesterone test at 7dpo was ok...I asked if there was any other testing we could do she suggested that test (or just an ultrasound of my uterus lining and follicles before O). Now I'm thinking perhaps I should do some testing?

Yes, FR since CD5 should be ok, esp. if he did today as well - according to your chart, that means he got a full 7 days of FR in, which is what is recommended. Even if he didn't today, I still think that should be ok since he's been doing more than 1 FR a day.
I planned on DTD as much as possible - up to 6 times - but we only got 3 in b/c poor DH couldn't keep up. As far as shallow release, it's probably best to try if you can, but I have seen quite a few successful sways without shallow release - and I didn't have a choice, had to do it doggystyle on one of my attempts b/c that was the only way DH could finish!! so, I am not going to worry about shallow release one bit! :)

here is my opinion...and this is just my opinion....I hate when dr.'s say "oh it was just a bad egg"...you just don't know if that is true or not and then they blame it on age...
I know for me...I had a 24 chromosome tested girl transferred via FET and had a chemical, then another chemical in April...so for me...it was definite sign to do some immune testing. Found out I have MTHFR..even after having 2 healthy pregnancies. I would absolutely talk to her about this just to rule it out. It can't hurt.

mydream -- I agree with you and it hasn't felt right to hear "advanced maternal age and older eggs" are the only issue. Thank you for your opinion...if I don't get pregnant this cycle, I am going to request more testing! My husband and I are babies who were born to older moms (our moms both had us at 40) and my mom had 4 early miscarriages before conceiving me....so I'm trying to stay hopeful, but it's hard and I'd like to have more answers == gonna test!! Thank you!!
In the meantime, I decided to take baby aspirin daily and increase my folic acid intake (1600mcg) this month...I was told by the OB it wouldn't hurt (but she didn't think it was necessary) and now I'm reading that maybe it could help if I have an auto-immune disorder, clotting issue/MTHFR??

I'm just quickly eating my dinner (was starting to feel shakey!) and then I'll go use another OPK and see if there is any change there.

Kraisy- how many dpo are u?
My dream- is that metanx your taking. The prescription follic acid and b vitamins? That's what I was prescribed and the lovenox and baby aspirin. While swaying I am taking prescription strength folic acid and will add the metanx once I get my bfp.
Ilundgirl- def worth testing. Maybe simple fix. And chemicals can be from anything not just bad eggs, like was already said. I have a clotting issue which could cause chemicals/miscarriages its often hereditary and Often it's undiagnosed. If your mother had these issues I would for sure investigate. All u need is a good doctor and blood tests for some of the possible causes. You want to find out even if u get bfp so you can make sure baby is getting all they need to! Good luck

It is cd 27 of a 28-29 which is at most a couple days. Not even a week, so I can't help making myself crazy. I am seeing a pattern in this tiny bit of pink/beige this am in previous cycles. If I was not looking for it, I am sure I would not have noticed it, but I have been noticing it for many cycles now. I am wondering if my eggs are getting to the point of implant and then they just don't stick. Maybe so early HCG does not have time to show on a test? I am just looking at the facts on my chart and since I did not temp this month, I bet my temp is down as well.
Thanks so much for trying to pep me up, but I just can't get out of this -BFP for me in such a wonderful girl month to conceive. I just want to cry, but I won't it will do me no good.

I have a few symptoms, cp is still really high, still have stretchy cm, really tired and start to feel queasyqueasy around an hour or two after waking and it stays for most of the day. Also have a little extra gas thank god i have my own office! Have also felt a little not crampy but similar sort of feeling for about 5 days like ya feel just before af shows. Don't have sore boobies tho. So will test in couple of days if i can wait that long

Kiesse,
I am 37 and very impatient wanting my girl so many long years ago that I cannot even tell you how disappointed I am to know another month has come and gone without her. At least you have a test whether blue or not, it is showing something and that is very promising. I have had cramps this time that I never get, so I was so hoping it was finally my month, plus no more Clomid, so I am just devastated. I am so praying and thinking of you. I know it is so hard to wait to test. I really wish I had, but oh, well nothing I can do about it now. but just wait AF out.

you can use lubricant -- but you want ones that are lower in ph (like RePHresh or acigel) if you are trying for a girl.

I'm too scared to use any (does it make it easier for sperm, i.e. boy sperm, to swim up there even quicker?)! We never usually need to but the antihistamine has made me super dry.
use sylk! that is a lubricant that is meant to sway pink :) I used it purely for the sway aspect

If you must buy SYLK online.. here's the best deal that I buy every time.Amazon.com: Sylk Natural Personal Lubricant 3.0 oz ( Double Pack) [Health and Beauty]: Green Web Inc (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E0WK44/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A32MQTT36XE4ZP)
But it's a GREAT way to sway PINK!

I'm in the UK so I'd have to order it and I'm pretty out of time to do that!
We BD twice yesterday (plus hubby also released on his own, geez!) and we were this morning but waking at 5.30am this morning, we felt too groggy! Argh! But no + OPK yet so I just asked him to release again today and we'd bd again tonight and force ourselves tomorrow AM as he won't be back home after that until Sunday night! :(
How long does sperm keep in a fridge? I'm paranoid I'll have a positive OPK while he's not home! :(
Also... anyone want to look at my chart and see what you think??

Go suregena! Wish i could get that many attempts in!! My DH did daily release for 10 days, followed by 2 attempts (one each day) and i got another opk today so told him we need to do tonight AND tomorrow night and he will try his best but i know he will struggle - he's worried he won't be able to...i wish we could do it twice a day...i so want to get pregnant. AHHHH
With all those attempts suregena you should be in a with a great shot for BFP!

Lassie: Lunarium: Universal Lunar Calendar (http://www.lunarium.co.uk/calendar/universal.jsp) this is one.
Suregena~ I looked at your chart todays temp was pretty low. No + opk I'm surprised. Has to be anyday now, it almost looks like O is today, will see tomorrows temp. Wondering if opks didnt pick up LH surge or times of testing or diluted pee? Are you suing digitals or cheapies?

BOTH! :( My temp taking could be flawed, though. I know some may be inaccurate, i.e. due to broken sleep (toddler!) or because I've found myself DOSING while taking my temp (because it's usually 5am and I take it as soon as my alarm wakes me up before I move much, but I'm still super groggy then!) so I'd catch it not being as firmly in my mouth and under my tongue had I been more conscious about it... but I take my temp in the same side and spot under my tongue every morning. But I don't think my temps are 100% because of my groggyness.
I'm going to take an OPK again soon... have taken two today and both are negative...
I'm making sure to not take them with diluted urine... been taking them after at least a few hours and no drinks. Sigh. Confusing...

Suregena- it's so difficult! Sounds like you'll have your basis covered anyway.
Lassie- on the site I gave you , you have to click edit to change location.

surgena -- what times do you test for opk? I missed mine 2 months...and then started testing every 4 hours and found that my surge is in the evening/early morning....so it was + starting around 10pm until 10am! So you could miss it....

I tend to test in the morning (even though you aren't supposed to really) at like 6:30am, then again at 2pm, then again when I get home around 7pm, or between 8 - 10pm.
Today I've tested first thing this morning, at 3pm, and I'm about to go test right now again (with a clearblue... at 7:45pm)... it will probably be neg, though!

Yep... negative (used a cheapie and a clearblue regular one).
My EWCM seems gone... it was there this morning! What is happening? I'm going to go look at the last time I ever had a positive OPK (I wasn't yet TTC ages ago, just wanted to check if I could pinpoint it at random... and I remember having some pains so I went and used it and it was very positive. That was back near Halloween-time. Just going to see which CD it was...)

I know it's ridiculous, or not haha but I go by the chinese gender chart, and I'm more primed to conceive in the warmer months for PINK! ;)
