No sign of Af yet but expecting it friday/ Saturday. So until that comes I'm still holding onto hope as I know cinss always gets her Bfp later. But I can tell Af is on way. All the tell tale signs although have had these for the last week. Only difference is really sore bbs which I don't normally get but I think this month isn't my time. Just wish it was a few months back and not coming into the holidays. Oh well. If it is negative the plus side is being on the diet will only jel my sway although I'm so over the eating like everyone.

Cass.. Got everything x for you x

I hope you get a nice surprise but like you said, if you don't then you will be able to do the diet etc for longer which can only be a good thing for your sway. But I agree with you, all the eating is tough, especially when you are out and about with the children!

Cass, I have just been reading about early bleeding and thought I would attach this :

Bleeding in early pregnancy is always worrying, but it's also surprisingly common. About 15 to 25 per cent of women experience bleeding early on in their pregnancy. There can be several possible reasons for it.

You might be experiencing "breakthrough" bleeding. Pregnancy hormones cover up your usual hormonal cycle, but variations in those normal cycles still go on. Some women notice breakthrough bleeding at around the time they would usually have had a period as a result of this "background" variation in hormonal levels.

Also, in the very early stages of pregnancy, there can be a day or two of light bleeding as the fertilised egg implants, and the placenta starts to develop. Implantation bleeding is thought to occur at about the same time as a period would have been due. This makes it hard to tell whether it's implantation or breakthrough bleeding. However, it's thought that breakthrough bleeding rather than implantation bleeding is most likely to be the cause.

Occasionally women will experience a cervical erosion (a softening of the cervix), which can cause bleeding in early pregnancy. Bleeding can also be associated with a vaginal or cervical infection or a polyp (a benign growth). These three conditions could all result in some bleeding after intercourse.

Read more: What could bleeding during early pregnancy mean? - BabyCenter (http://www.babycenter.com.au/x2313/what-could-bleeding-during-early-pregnancy-mean#ixzz2EnpYDmIF)

Just to let you know, I had a MC at 5 1/2 weeks between DD1 and DD2 and the cramping had me in bed unable to move for 24 hours. Apparently bleeding is not that uncommon and doesn't have to mean worst case scenario.
Stay positive, we are all thinking of you.
xx

Cass

Thanks for the info luvalittleman, I appreciate the effort.

Minimatron - I am waiting to get through to the nurses now. I know that they have my results as I called earlier and they had to wait for the doctor to review before looking at them (standard procedure here).

Cass
December 12th, 2012, 01:52 AM
Got the call. My hcg is very low so that combined with the bleeding is pointing strongly towards miscarriage :broken:

I have now started cramping a bit and the bleeding is getting heavier.

I will get my hcg taken again tomorrow to confirm. Results can take up to three days but I hope to get them back within a day, like I did with these ones.

Sorry to put a downer on the board. Let's hope for some happy BFPs soon!

I am so sorry about your miscarriage Anchor. It is so hard - emotionally and physically - after just over four weeks pregnant that I just can't imagine how difficult it would be at 12 weeks.

I got my hcg taken this morning and will visit my doctor tomorrow morning. The cramping and bleeding is a lot worse today than it was tomorrow so I guess the test/doctor visit is just a formality. But at least I will be able to talk through everything and see when she recommends trying again.

Thanks again to everyone for your support, it really means a lot to me. My hubby hasn't been overly sensitive about this but I guess it is difficult for them to understand. The old "let's move forward and try again" is ok for him but I am still stuck dealing with the miscarriage. Don't get me wrong, he is a great man/husband but they can't seem to say the right things!

Oh Cass, I'm so very sorry to hear that. I can't imagine the heartache it causes. I hope it all goes very quickly. My very best friend had a miscarriage earlier in the year. She had the same situation with her husband. He is very loving and all he wants to do is make her happy, yet he never said the right things. Everything he did or said upset her more. She just wanted him to grieve with her and not just press forward with optimism. She just gave birth to her first little one 2 weeks ago and while still deeply hurt by her miscarriage, is so happy with her baby, no sleep and all. It will happen and soon! xxx

Yeah it is hard for the men to relate, not their fault they just never have to go through anything like it. I know it is heartbreaking now, but i always think if i'd never had a m/c with my 1st i wouldn't have my DD now, so it all gets put into perspective eventually, even though i never think the thoughts of that little one who came and left will ever go away.

Cass, I am so sorry. I know how hard it can be to want to acknowledge what happened and the people around you to not get it. And, complete disclosure- when we found out we lost our baby I asked for something to make my brain shut off. My ob gave me enough Xanax to get through the weekend after the d&e and it was a Godsend. Don't be afraid to ask for something so you can get some rest. Do not hesitate to message me if you want to talk about anything.

My heart breaks for you and I pray your body heart can heal quickly.

Mini, I am already 6dpo according to my chart so might run a test monday and see what happens. I doubt I will see a + this month but will have to see....
Anchor, where are you at?
Last day of having all three kids at school or daycare and I have to get my work done (work from home), finish christmas shopping, wrap and pack all the kids presents and get them ready for christmas trip (10 - 11 hours next Sunday)... Should be a breeze getting all that done in 5 1/2 hours.....

Hi luvalittle...
I'm at CD10 today. DH and I bd'd on CD8 and CD9 (last night). We used preseed. It's only two days in and I'm already trying to come up with creative ways to get him in the mood tonight

I'm always so good when it comes to the shopping...in fact I'm done all the christmas shopping. It's the wrapping that I dread. I usually put that off until the night before, I despise it. Whoever invented gift bags...genius!

Well, I had finally had a positive opk today! I accosted the hubs after her finished repairing a broken pipe in our ceiling. It was jut as romantic as it sounds! Haha! Part of me is super relieved after 4 months of OCD plotting. I'm nervous, but I think I've tried really hard to put my boy factors in.

I also treated myself to my beloved McRib today--- and it was GLORIOUS!:running:

I think the most part I didn't enjoy of this sway was the 3 attempts in a row. Not romantic, not really enjoyable, just sloppy gross messy ...yuck! I know with my girls I did jump up and run to the toilet and most of it came out.

Gelatin tastes and smells like death. I drown it in juice and I still gag every single time. It is beyond vile.

And preseed is um different. Perhaps if I hadn't done so much "priming," but there was no pretending that was natural.

You can also add it to soups and sauces, I use it to thicken sauces for our roasts... it's yummy :) Or make homemade jigglers, can do some coconut milk and a little honey for a sweet taste but not much sugar.

Adoptapom Lord have mercy how on earth will I neck that stuff down me.. I just about got use to the V8 juice.. And that tasted like living death to me but on a light note I have to say I have no problem with v8 anymore I can tolerate it but dreading the gelatin crap..! Did you guys break out in spots like what were your signs of testosterone levels increasing ?? For some reason i seem to have become more " beefy" from upper half body my belly ( it wasn't exactly flat never had been!) but it's more pop belly and my boobs look more round and plumpy too! Lol sorry TMI .. I had dry skin on my face and now it's not so oily but just not dry anymore which I like!
How much did you guys put in the drink ??

Cinns I never thought of that one!!

Adoptapom
December 14th, 2012, 12:50 AM
I did add it to chicken tortilla soup and beef stew, and you couldn't tell it was in that.

For the drink, I put one packet in and about 4 Oz of juice. It's gross, but you have to chug it fast and then it's over. You can do it!

Happy shagging to Pom and Anchor!
Glad I'm not O'ing as DH and I are having a fight and not speaking to each other.
Gelatin...hmmm...truly a foul thing. I have been adding it to my v8 (which I hate) with Maca (which I hate) and nutritional yeast flakes (which I hate) to make one filthy disgusting thick concoction that I only have to neck once a day. Usually I gag and shiver a little as I swallow the last mouthful and will be extremely dirty if I don't have a boy purely for the sacrifice I have made drinking that foul swill.
That being said, I did buy a bag of beef bones and offcuts and made a big batch of beef and veg stock which helped me through the gastro catastrophe last week (home made gelatine/stock much better). You can add that to soups and sauces too.
Funny thing about the Gelatin, I have long nails for the first time in my entire life and they are rock solid. Googled it and apparently a heap of women take it every day for hair and nails so at least there's that benefit!
Have been feeling crampy all day (probably gas - jeez this diet turns me into a wind machine) and have 2 days of triphasic rise in BBT which seems too early for implantation. Still, messing with my head a little.

AAAAAAARGH...so DH had a pretty long day yesterday, and came home exhausted. Instead of buttering him up for some wink wink action, I start getting pissy about having no help with the kids. And I send him upstairs to deal with DS who will NOT go to sleep...and he PASSES OUT in DSs bed with him. NOOOOOOOO! I try to wake him to no avail, and then this morning instead of seducing him I decide to give him a piece of my mind for passing out. What is wrong with me??? So we've had 2 attempts, CD8 and CD9, and last month my cycle was 26 days (and it was 24-25 before my m/c). Why can't I just chill out? GAWD. On the up side...I think my T is shooting through the roof right now :)

luvalittleman
December 14th, 2012, 12:22 PM
Anchor, do you know what your LP is?
I often have 26 day cycles but my LP is always 14 days which means I O on CD12.
If that's the case then waiting 48 hours and BD'ing might help build up his sperm count a bit more and still fit within your window.

Anchor our horemones must do weird things to us around O, i remember having arguements with DP around O time too, then having to suck it up and get him in the mood, and sometimes i would just say forget it! Or we would have that angry make up sex, im not sure but i thought we were supposed to give off feromones which attracted men around O!

I am so jealous reading your comments about needing to get DH in the mood...my DH is always in the mood (and I mean always) and nothing short of a nuclear disaster would put him off. I on the other hand am never in the mood anymore since having children....
Fertility friend has decided to change her mind about when I O'd this month...she said it was CD14 (last Saturday which I agree with) but this morning because of the last three day temp rises she has changed her mind and said I O'd on wednesday (CD18). Funnily enough, this month was lefty's turn and I did in fact have O pains that side CD14. The pains I have been writing off as wind pains the last few days have been more on the right so maybe I released an egg from the right on CD18? Just my luck, I'll conceive twin girls...sigh. DH will leave me for sure. His limit was 2 kids and I already talked him into 2 more, 3 more will kill the friendship I think.

luv my DP is always ready to rumble too, the thing i found hard was putting him on the every 2 day schedule, he loved this but it was so boring and unspontainious he would just go to bed and lay there waiting to be serviced, ugg it was so hard for me to get in the mood and it was really just a chore, then O comes along so i am a bit more enthusiastic, but then as soon as the fertile window was closed i wanted to abstain, and he would get grumpy and sooky like a baby that had his toy taken away, some months i was glad AF came just for the break. Then we fell pregnant and i was so relieved that we could finally stop TTC but he turned into the sooky baby again saying now i got what i wanted i dont need him anymore haha. And the worst thing now is that there is no AF anymore so when i need a break it usually causes arguements.

Do you think you could link your chart, id love to take a look?

Lol men are unbelievable sometimes! Lol I feel the same I haven't had attempts yet but I can see how it's gonna be all computerized where I have to keep warning DH about our BDing sessions and to make sure he tries come home and early have DD put to bed ! Eurgh it's gonna be such a chore and the annoying thing is when they are ready to rumble there is no stopping them and when you wanna get jiggy they suddenly seem to have had a "long tiring" day at work!! Men will be men!
My DH has calmed down now that I moved to the states for a year and half .. He' usually DTD every 2days ..

I have a question am I having too much calcium because I' seem to be indulging in cheddar cheese and crackers ( im cheese fan) fan and I always add full fat yoghurt to my smoothies and full fat milk in my oatmeal or cereals .. I know some say calcium sways pink but I don't wanna be over doing it!!

luvalittleman
December 15th, 2012, 03:00 AM
Nope. CD 14 I had masses of watery CM though.
My LP is always 14 days.
I have never had a cycle that goes longer than 29 days. They were 28 - 29 days for for over 20 years and then recently moved down to 26 days.
It has gotten slightly cooler at nights this week and I did start sleeping with the doona pulled up which I haven't done for a few weeks...maybe that explains the temp rise?

Cinss
December 15th, 2012, 03:11 AM

luvalittleman
December 15th, 2012, 03:25 AM
I have a 10 iui test that came with my OPK. I think I will test Monday morning with it.
It's a screwy cycle so am not going to be upset if I don't conceive this month. I will likely O again in under 3 weeks so that gives me a bit more time to do diet and sups and it puts me very close after the full moon. (Plus it will be righty's turn again and more boys are conceived from the right ovary I've read).
Feeling a little crampy today though....

36.77 this morning and I did not have the doona on.
I am seriously cranky...if I did O on CD 18 then my only shots were 0-4 and 0-3. Clearly not good.
I really hope I don't conceive this month!!! I just know it will be a girl.
Bloody hell, I've never o'd that late in my life!!!
OK so I am now praying I don't get a BFP, sigh....

Cinss,
How do I post the previous months chart? I have just been looking at my October Cycle (not TTC) and I had the same third temp shift (up over 36.7) in that one that I have had this one. Only difference is I had a clear 3 day temp rise after CD12 then it shot up over 36.7 at CD18 until AF.
This time I only had 2 days temp rise after CD14 and then the third level (over 36.7 again on CD18).
I am analyzing this way too much aren't I?
