Don't forget, Vitamin L is the most important thing of all - LUCK. Even if swaying was 80%, there would still be 20% opposites.
What is vitamin L?

L for Luck, it's a joke (not a literal vitamin)

Oh I just found this topic! Such a good idea! I have a daughter and we are hoping to try for another
With my daughter I was a vegetarian and eating my meals pretty spaced out as I was working and never had time to snack. I was also on my feet all day but then I would come home and go to the gym 4x a week and definitely losing weight at the time of conception. We also only dtd twice my whole cycle once the day before peak and day of peak. It's amazing reflecting back and seeing how clearly these things line up!
Goodluck to all swaying :)

Hi Atomic,
my english is not very well, but i'm not sure about what you are saying.
My question is : what if i had ovulate from the right side? do i have less chance to be pregnant with a girl?
I have also a dominant right ovary (bigger also) and i ovulate this month on the right side. So if this pattern not give me 75 % chance for a boy, what pattern should it be? Like LLRLLR, to have 50% chance for a girl. I am doing the pcos diet as well. Or is the LRLRLR pattern 50 % chance for girl or boy.

Vitamin "L" is just a joke that means having good luck for your sway.
EVERYONE has a bigger right ovary and most people ovulate more often from the right side in most months. Sometimes, the left ovary takes over for a while. You can't make yourself ovulate from a certain ovary. That would be like hitting the lottery. Please just do your sway and then don't worry about what side you ovulate from.

Thank you atomic.
I understand the vitamine L :)
I try not to worry about things like that.
I just wonder if you still can be pregnant from a girl if you ovulate on the right side, is that still 50 % or does the right side give you more chance to get a boy.
If you have ovulate for a few months on the left side and once on the right side and that time you get pregnant, does that mean you get the 75% for a boy.
If that's true it's better not to get pregnant that month? or am i wrong?

Yes, you can still get pregnant with a girl from the right side and a boy from the left. We have people who have had ultrasounds confirming both.
The truth is we do not know. There was ONE study done that seemed to find that in months where people had a L, L, R ovulation they had 75% chance of a boy (that is still of course 25% girls) but that has never been confirmed by anyone else or followed up on. There were not very many people in the test group. It might have been a fluke.
It's quite expensive to have ultrasounds of your ovulations done every month. I don't recommend that for people because I don't think the expense is justified. You're basically trying to hit the odds at a slot machine (gambling). We are already getting between 66% and 75% with swaying anyway (in people who are NOT tracking their ovulation at all) so my thinking is, just sway, and rely on swaying to work for you.

I hope it’s ok to post my unintentional girl sway. This thread has been super helpful.
I was young, very skinny, eating crap and not regularly. I was extremely active.
I never ate breakfast.
As I was young, I was still up very late and not getting enough sleep.
Drinking way to much and smoking. Ex partner was not smoking but would drink also. (again young 😂)
I really had been doing nothing to help myself or be healthy at all.
No idea when I ovulated, timing or position. I would say BD frequently though.
Not a lot of stress in my life, I was really enjoying life and just having a lot of fun.
There was no real structure or routine in my life back then.

Hello All new member here. Looking for some advice. This is my baby #2, trying to do a girl sway. Planning for TTC in three weeks and started doing the below :
1. Daily Cal and Mag supplements + 2 glasses of milk
2. Tested PH last cycle : 3 days before O = 4.5 - 5, 12 hours after O = 4 - 4.5. (Used PH testing strips). This makes me believe in TTC on O+12 rather than Shettles even though I believed in Shettles a lot earlier.
3. Planning to follow girl diet next three weeks but figure since my PH is kinda optimal, wont follow it to a T.
4.What should I Douche with for O+12 ? This is my biggest concern. My PH is already optimal but DH semen PH is obviously > 7.
5. Anything else I should be following?
Any help would be appreciated!! Desperately trying for a girl this month, and even followed the chinese calendar that says I will have one this month.

I'm going to answer your post in one of the other places you asked it since this is a thread for women who have girls to discuss the stuff they did to get them.
Suffice to say you are doing a lot of things we don't recommend here so anyone else reading this, please talk to me before deciding to do any of this stuff for your sway. :)

Also, should i cut out my chocolate milk? i have 250mL everyday. But, i did drink a lot of that while pregnant with my son. Ok-stay away even if it gives Ca. No cheese either bc of my high teststerone. So, just rely on getting Ca fr my CaMg supplement, right?

If you have high testosterone you need to cut out anything sugary entirely and have only full fat dairy, NO SKIM or part skim.
But let's move this conversation to a different thread, ok?? This thread is really meant for people to discuss how they got their girls, and not swaying questions. Come join us in the TTC a girl forum here (you will see the "start new thread" option at the top of this page) https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-to-conceive-a-girl/ and I can answer all your gender swaying questions there.

Laura, since you're using Tapatalk, to access that link you may need to use a different browser on your phone. Sometimes Tapatalk does not follow links correctly and the issue is on their end, so it's not even something we can fix, unfortunately.

Are you pregnant now??No, im not pregnant yet. So, that's why i can do 1hour of cardio/day. Should i not do my daily crunches?

Well, you can still do an hour of cardio a day even if you are pregnant. Many people do.
Yes, I would stop doing the crunches. Those are muscle building exercises.

What is your opinion on the lime douche?
I don't think it works (pH has not worked for us at all), it cuts odds of conception hugely, makes people super control freaky (being a control freak and obsessing nonstop about swaying sways strongly blue) and in addition it has caused people to get vaginal infections that really mess up their ability to TTC. That's why I recommend the jellies instead, even though they haven't worked either - at least they're not so control freaky and infection-causing.

Hey ive been dabbling on this site for a bit as I’m planning a blue sway once I get the rest of my pregnancy weight off… anyways to preface my current lifestyle, a bit of history. My mom had a massive drawn out eating disorder- anorexic and the bulimic and she would constantly comment on my weight so around 13 I just stopped eating very much and lost a lot of weight then would sneak food when she wasn’t looking and my weight went up then back down yo-yo type eating not intentional, just happened that way since she would say I was too thin then too fat etc etc..,.
So I became pretty used to feeling hungry and ignoring hunger cues which with what I do (riding horses and barn work) it’s quite easy to go all day not eating.
Ok so first girl- coffee for breakfast and coffee and vegetables for lunch, maybe a low cal fruit. Salad for dinner. Calories coming from creamer/ sugar and salad dressing. Blood sugar all over the place. Dtd every day probably 5/6 days in a row missionary no O for me usually just trying to get preg and I couldn’t relax enough. Bd at night.
Second- boy- ok this one baffles me and makes me think I’m actually a boy mom undercover if I would just listen to my body, I would probably have all boys since I would love to snack all day if I would let myself, naturally really muscular and love to be outside working hard. I can’t stay still and thrive under pressure I like to be in charge and don’t get stressed out even under loads of responsibilities. So I included this one because he was made under very pink circumstances. Same diet but actively losing weight. Dtd once in two weeks and bam there he was. I have no idea when I ovulated. We bd in the morning.
Third-girl. Failed partial blue sway with bad info…. Same low cal diet except I thought I was so smart I switched my traditional almond milk that has calcium added to the one that has no calcium and guzzled the stuff. And added salt to my salad and lunch meat. Plus did BSF which burned, drank COT which was awful, and we bd every night for 6 days straight. Husband was delighted.
I hope this helps someone looking for their little girl!!! It goes right with what atomic says!!

I read this thread for months in preparation for my sway haha. I’m so happy I get to add to it!
I ate basically nothing and when I did eat it was white pasta, peas, string beans, or ice cream lol. I ate a lot of pasta primavera.
I did cardio 6 days a week for an hour, total cardio junkie, no weights at all. I lost 40 pounds (baby weight and then some).
I drank water 24/7, sometimes crystal light too.
DH drinks Diet Coke like it’s going out of style, and he’s a little bit of a smoker.
In our first month, we did try supplements, but then dropped them as we didn’t want to have a “balanced” diet lol.
I had terrible congestion the week of ovulation so I ended up taking Sudafed and jumped and dumped.
Baby girl on the way! Jan ‘23.

I deleted a post in this thread because a) it was double posted, and we do not need things double posted and b) it had nothing to do with the purpose of this thread, which is for girl moms to share the types of things they did when they got their girls.
If you'd like to read that thread and my response, it's here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-to-conceive-a-girl/82395-anyone-seen-new-phase-thingy-thats-suppose-sway.html
If I were you, I'd not bother as it's a bunch of garbage and a big waste of people's swaying time and energy, but I didn't want to delete a post without allowing you guys the opportunity to read it.

I finally got my girl! I thought I’d post what I think helped in case it helps others.
I followed a personalised plan from atomic and it was so helpful - definitely recommend!
- skipped breakfast and just drank black coffee
- no snacks inbetween meals
- almond milk instead of milk (would sometimes make an almond coffee of an afternoon)
- fibre before every meal
- did PCOS version of the diet so took myoinositol
- ate lots of roast veges. This what’s pretty much my go-to lunch. Zuchinni, eggplant, cauliflower, capsicum, sweet potato etc roasted with herbs and then tossed through with a tiny bit of cooked pasta and a bit of Parmesan. Sometimes I’d stir through some pesto. This is also how I made night mealtimes easier with the family. I always made lots of vege heavy sides. That way I could still cook the chicken or steak or the usual family meal and have a smaller portion of the protein and lots of the vegetables and vege side dishes to fill me up. I ate heaps of sweet potatoes with spices/herbs and served with yoghurt.
- as a snack, I loved tomato on whole grain toast with a bit of butter and slices of tomato (salt and pepper on top)
- as a snack, I loved whole yoghurt with a bit of sweetener and some berries
- lots of sparkling water to keep hydrated
- wine most nights
- I changed my cooking and salad oil to preferences recommended by atomic (I can’t for the life of me remember which omegas are good for swaying) - used while cooking and for salad dressings (before that I was 100% olive oil)
- took folate as per my personal plan
- husband took olive leaf extract
- we did one try per fertile period with jump and dump. Used Sylk because we use it anyway (wasn’t part of our sway).

We have not found that any normal dietary use of spices and herbs makes any difference for sways. Have whatever you want. Worrying about things like this is very control freakish and should be avoided. They make no difference.
