Its out first month ttc also although we did for over a year its my first official month trying whilst not breastfeeding as I only weaned my youngest 2.5weeks ago. It takes me ages to get pregnant so I hope this time will be different. You never kow. Good luck.

So how long have others changed their diet before ttc? My diet will have only changed for about 6weeks when I O next. Not sure if its long enough but with my poor fertility I also don't want to miss any opportunities.

Good luck to you as well! I have only been on the diet 6 weeks. I was told it's much easier to make the enviornment better than to make it worse. I was also told that when you are swaying for boy, you are helping your fertility so I hope this helps you!

Do supplements do any good for dh if they haven't been taken for over 72 days? Just curious, I'm still going to try this month since I've been doing the diet and we've both been lifting weights but dh just started on the supplements a month ago. I didn't get serious about swaying until too late!

March 2nd, 2013, 09:43 PM
Good luck princess of pink. Hope a blue one catched the egg :)

KikiCal when we were going to start IVF our Dr said that what DH did 3months ago would effect his sperm now so I assume 1 month would not be enough but I would try anyway. I'm to impatient.

So I have read alot about people putting on weight doing a boy diet. I am actually loosing weight as I normally eat alot of yogurt, custard and ice-cream. I am not having any dairy now except milk in my tea and the occassional bit of cheese. Do you think this is a problem and will sway pink? I am having rolled oats every morning with V8 or pineapple juice but wondering if I should have something else also.

Cinss
March 2nd, 2013, 09:46 PM
Ollynem i was losing weight on the boy diet and was lucky enough to get a boy, i think it is all up to what you nourish your body with, in the case of starving yourself to lose weight would sway pink.

Ollynem
March 2nd, 2013, 11:10 PM
Thanks Cinss I'm definately not starving myself. I think I am eating really well maybe abit to much readmeat and large quantities I think its the reducion in the sugar content of the icecream and yogurt thats doing it. Plus the yogurt and icecream were often after lunch and dinner as extras. So maybe I am not eating enough seeing as I probably have reduced calories although it wasnt intentional.

Thanks for the response. That is what I figured, I was just wondering (hoping) that there might be some benefits immediately from taking the supplements.

I think the diet is different for different people depending on how your body works. My blood sugar has always seemed to drop quickly and suddenly so I have been trying to eat snacks all day long, in addition to my meals which are usually salad and protein. It has taken some planning but I will eat cereal and almonds, crackers with sliced meat, larabars, V8 and almonds, cantaloupe with peanuts. I am trying not to eat too many nuts because they're so fattening but it's an easy protein to take to work with me. I have also been drinking a protein shake after working out. I feel like this helps me eat throughout the day but with smaller portions. I still feel like I'm getting flabbier but I'm trying to not let it bother me. I'm lifting weights 4 times a week for 25-35 minutes and cardio 2-3 times a week for 30 minutes. I'm hoping if it takes awhile to get pregnant this will help the weight gain. Hope that helps.

If your missing your ice cream Ollynem here is a great substitute - Banana Peanut butter Icecream

Ingredients - 2 ripe bananas, 1 tbs natural peanut butter'

Method - Peel the bananas, slice them, and place slices on a plate. Freeze for at least two hours.

Place frozen bananas and peanut butter in a food processor and blend well. Enjoy immediately or freeze in a glass container until solid.

You can put melted dark chocolate or shredded coconut on top if you wish :)

Enjoy.

Hoping to join you all here this month after our MMC and D&C on 2/7 :( Waiting for AF to arrive, fingers crossed she shows any day now (never thought I would want to see her) and we will then be trying again. I have to be honest and say that we haven't been swaying, though we did continue our vitamins and I started drinking green tea again after I found out about the MC - maybe that will be enough? GOOD LUCK this month ladies!

PoP have you had any attempts??

Yep sure have!! Fingers crossed!

Now I have a dilemma...Yesterday I got a smiley face opk....but a cheapie didn't look quite positive. CBFM was high but I expect that as it is my first month using it and most people don't get a peak on the first month. This morning my opk was negative again. I wonder if I surged but didn't O? Or if it was a faulty test? Cheapie today looks closer to +ve than yesterday. Temps don't reflect O. Will keep testing and see what happens.

Welcome back otp and so sorry for your loss, hope you get a quick BFP!

Pop Im sure they have some CBFM experts on here. Im no so great with CBFM either, Im using that too and alongside with OPKS. I got a peak in my first month using it, im not sure what that means ..
Are you keeping track of EWCM and other Ovulation signs?

Adpotapom glad to see you back, Sorry about your loss wish you the best and a Healthy sticky bean! i wouldnt worry as long as your geting protein +carbs or atleast nutritious food. Even the strongest of strong sways doesnt always guarantee you desired gender so there is no reason to say you wouldnt get yours.

March 3rd, 2013, 04:14 PM
I use CBDigital, the surge could be detected once and then OV within 12-48 hours. I usually get only one or two +ve on my clear blue digital within 24hours.

Cinss
March 3rd, 2013, 05:23 PM
I think CBFM detects the surge a day or 2 before O and the cheapies detect it very close to O day, i never used a CBFM but i keep seeing ladies post about how they dont match the cheapies. When i was using the cheapies i would always get a + 1 day before or on O day.

Ollynem
March 3rd, 2013, 05:48 PM
Adpotapom I too am sorry about your loss.

I must be different as When I get a +OPT I usually don't O for 3-5days. Seriously. When I was ttc my last I was doing ovulation tracking as we were not getting pregnant so it was confirmed by ultrasound and BT. I suspected I was Ovulating much later then the 12-36hrs the packet said due to temps, ovary pain and then my period was always longer then 14-15days after the day I thought I had O'd. So perhaps keep BDing a few days after to make sure there are still fresh swimmers in there. Well thats what we will be doing anyway.

I am at a very boring stage of my cycle. I have about a week to go until AF arrives and then my AF goes for 7-8days so it feel likes 3-4weeks yet before I will O again. Boring :)

Cinss
March 3rd, 2013, 07:47 PM
Ollynem i had really long cycles too, so i feel your pain, some ladies in my group would actually O twice in the time i would get my 1 shot, it was really frustrating having to wait so long every time.

Why are there so many more threads for ttc a girl? Is that because the success rate is not as high?

Princess of Pink
March 3rd, 2013, 10:33 PM
I think because so many more women are TTC a girl than TTC a boy. Don't know why? Maybe more women out there are content having all girls?

Cinss

Well statistically more boys are born all over the world regardless of swaying so more women would be getting families without daughters than without sons. Also i think gender desire is effecting women more than men because we are the emotional ones, so we go looking for answers online. I wonder if there is a mens forum where they talk about how they desire a son, probably not. I think we are all really lucky to have our little girls and i wish every woman ttc pink could have one. I would be in those threads too if i had only ever had boys.

I am feeling good about this months sway. I got my positive opk his morning. I dtd 2 days ago, this morning and I am hoping to dtd again tonight, and maybe tomorrow morning for good luck. I might also dtd every second day until F is due in case I am a late o person. I think I might be because according to the o predictors on the Internet I should have had my o on Saturday.

Wow this thread is so busy these days. Just wanted to wish luck and blue dust to all trying this month.

I had a horrible dream last night where I was giving myself an ultrasound and I couldn't find this little mans penis. And then everyone had a look and told me sometimes boys don't have one cos he still had balls so was definately not a girl. Pregnancy dreams can be mad.

KikiCal
March 4th, 2013, 05:20 PM
Anchor I kind of know how you are feeling. I miscarried in early October after a few months of ttc. I couldn't get pregnant after so we had to take a few months off. We had to for my job but I also needed it for my sanity. I am trying to be optimistic this time. It's such an emotional experience that I really am hoping for a healthy baby. A boy would be a bonus!

Princess of Pink
March 4th, 2013, 06:41 PM
Good luck everyone! Sending you all baby dust because I don't have blue dust lol. I know how you feel anchor, I TTC for 6 cycles last year and gave up as I was going insane and it was taking over my life. So this will be my 7th attempt even if its my first in a while.

Got a smiley and a peak on my CBFM this morning.....OMG so excited!!!

Huds sorry for your SIL's loss.
You can get pregnant before your 1st AF after a miscarriage. My SIL did after a loss at 11 weeks and didn't realise she was pregnant again until after 8 weeks. She had a DD.

Afy it still doesn't feal real. I was buying a really cute newborn boy set on Friday and I had DD with me and the store assistant asked me if it was for me. If I was having a boy. I told her it was indeed for me. And she told me that I was one very blessed woman to have one of each. I really do feel like one of the luckest women in the world. But I also told her that I wasn't planning on stopping there as that is the expectation of everyone now. One of each, you can now hang up your uterus.

Aww bless that's really cute! Enjoy every minute of it! does DD know shes expecting a little brother? I love baby shopping I'm going to have to control myself this time lol! I can imagine how unreal it must feel buying a blue set! It's nice for DD to have company it's one of the reasons why I'm TTC. Blue would be a bonus but just a healthy bubba.
Pearl I know exactly what you mean I'm the same I don't intend to stop with 2 either, I would like 3/4 depends if I stay sane after the 3rd one lol. Knowing myself I start feeling broody when they come to the toddler stage, can't help looking at baby clothes and getting emotional lol,how many children would you like to have if you don't mind me asking?
How long were you on the diet for ?

Huds sorry to hear about the M/C.

Does anyone know the best time of day to exercise without lowering blood sugar? I have to work out early in the morning so I drink some lemon water and eat nuts before lifting weights or using the treadmill. Then I have a protein shake immediately following and some oatmeal 20 minutes later then a banana 20 minutes after that. I have read conflicting stories about working out in the morning. Most articles said it temporarily raised blood sugar but a few said it lowered it. Does anyone know what's accurate?

Pearl327
March 5th, 2013, 02:48 PM
I would love at least 4. That is what we have agreed on at the min with a possibility of a no 5 (depending on how things go in the future). We are both from larger families and love a full house.
I was officially on the full diet since the end of last June and started TTC in August. Got my BFP on the 3rd cycle. I had been doing research for a while before then and was eating in more boy friendly way but holding my weight not gaining on the months before that

Kiki, I feel the SAME exact way as you do. We MC last month at 10 weeks and though I would still really love to have a boy to have one of each, we overall just want another healthy baby. I feel like I am doing very minimal swaying, anyway, but whatever is meant to happen...will. Good luck ladies!

I feel the exact same way too. Like I will be the only person on here who won't get a boy. I just haven't had that luck. I have been on swaying boards since TTC #3 and it was always me who got the girl again. Everyone having #5 got an opposite finally except me when I had DD#5.

I hardly noticed a difference to be honest. Mine were all very close and I think that period of my life was just a blur to be honest lol. My last 4 were all 18-21 months apart (the first gap was 3 years). It is a lot of kids and fun when you all go out having to make sure you don't lose one....but it's not much difference to 4.

Thanks for sharing your experience everyone. PoP I could see myself in your situation. I am naturally a girl mom so it's no surpise I had a girl. The boy lifestyle is pretty different than mine. I finally feel like I have it down and it seems so much healthier than before. I am eating more calories but healthier food. Before it was low calorie, diet coke, processed low-fat snack.

I'm sorry others feel this way but it makes me feel better to know I'm not alone. PoP were you on a different website with your other sways?

I'm very jealous of you ladies with big families. DH wants no more than two. I'm trying to push for three but if the next one is another DD he won't try again for sure. He is obsessed with our DD but couldn't handle a house full. Plus he has always dreamed of having a DS and I want him to have that since I got the girl I wanted.

So is 6 your limit or would you go for more than 6? 6 is it for me no matter what the gender, I think it's the max I can cope with or afford (more so house size and car size then daily living expenses).

Yep I started on Ezy Board, then Baby Center TTC a Specific Gender Board, then the website forum TTC A Specific Gender, then InGender. I have had a few different usernames Mumof3littlegirls, then mumof4littlegirls.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd stop at 6. I think it's a good number. Not sure I could handle more. And if I have 6 girls, I won't regret it. It'll hurt hearing it's a girl 2 more times but in the long run, I want my kids to have a lot of siblings like I do because I think it's really special and I really really love it now as an adult.

Yeah I don't mind if I end up with 6 girls as I just so want a new little baby. But it will hurt knowing that no matter how hard I try to change everything I just can't make a boy!

I've had too many losses to not just appreciate having a healthy bubby.

I'm doing ok. I'm torn between taking some time off to chill and lose some weight, or just trying again in a month. I feel like Ive been kind of mentally frozen for a year, and I don't want to just obsess for months. And I'm getting older, I feel like I'm on a deadline to begin with.

I'm 3DPO today. I'm just going through the motions these days. Time is not on my side! DH and myself are booked at a fertility clinic in 2 weeks...he is less than enthusiastic about having to provide a "sample" at the clinic. So we really gave it our all this month, and he was totally on board...maybe that will be our magic bullet ;)

Is fmu ok to use for opk? The one from this morning is darker than this afternoon and they were both from highly concentrate urine. One was 5 am and the other 230 pm. It wasn't quite positive though so I'm not sure.

I'm supposed to o on Saturday so I wanted to hold of on dtd for 3-4 days to build up his sperm but now I'm wondering if we should do it today just in case and then again on Saturday. We've been dtd every other day this cycle and that pattern would keep it going every other day. Sorry I'm getting so paranoid!!

The Anchor
March 7th, 2013, 03:57 PM
Most of the instruction sheets for the OPKs say you should NOT use FMU.

H is synthesized early in the day, and is not metabolized into your urine until later. So, as a rule, you are more likely to catch your surge later in the day. Using FMU may not be a problem for you, but if you do not detect a surge during the cycle you use FMU, try testing later during the next cycle.

KikiCal

Thanks Atomic. You have been helping me all day! I wanted to do one in the morning and afternoon. I wanted to make sure it wouldn't give a false positive or something.

Princess of Pink
March 7th, 2013, 06:23 PM
I think it depends on the person. I get best results from FMU, well often I go at about 2am-ish then use the pee from when I first wake up after that. It's never been wrong for me yet. I also do one in the afternoon, but rely on my first one of the day more.

Princess of Pink
March 7th, 2013, 06:25 PM
Forgot to add...this cycle I did one at 2am and it was negative, then by 5.30am it was positive. If I didn't do FMU I would have missed knowing when it changed positive and may have thought it was the afternoon. Would be bad if you O 12hrs after +ve test.

KikiCal
March 7th, 2013, 07:04 PM
Wow I don't think I would be with it enough to test at 2 am haha. I randomly tested in the morning last cycle because it was a day later than I usually o. I think it was late because it was my first cycle using epo. I got a positive that day and then felt o pains later in the day. This month I've had mild cramping for a few days now and I cannot remember if that normally happens. Every cycle I say I'm going to write how I feel every day and never do and I always forget! So now I'm probably going to waste a lot of tests haha.

Princess of Pink
March 7th, 2013, 07:29 PM
I waste heaps of tests and don't care...because if it helps me get what I want it's worth it. I would rather be sure, you know! I am seeing a trend that I have been getting +ve opk on CD16 and Oing CD17. Has happened the last 3 cycles so obviously this swaying has altered my cycle from Oing on CD14. It's all so stressful as you are affraid to miss O.

Im waiting to hear the long awaited news PoP!!

after almost 6months of swaying without choice Im losing motivation! the thing thats really put me down is puting on the weight! I have cut out breads as much as i could and ive exercised more and still adding it on.. Iv cut the portions down and everything... I feel miserable at the weight gain but its like i have FIRM legs and butt, I know its the squats that have made my glute muscles so firm my butt looks HUGE lol sorry TMI but its all firm not flabby maybe Im just not use to looking like that
lol im at the point where i jsut want to be preggers and So tempted to go for an attempt this month but I dont know if DH would.. but I have learnt not to stress myself nor beat myself up about doing something "wrong" on the diet, I shall be taking it as it comes and want to enjoy TTC.

Anchor and Pom I hope it all goes well for you guys!

afy stay off the scales, if you are firming up it is probably just the added muscle putting weight on you, and that is fantastic for swaying, take measurements instead if you want to keep track. And the bonus to adding muscle is it uses fat for energy so the more muscle you have the more fat you will be burning by doing nothing. Im sure you look great!

Thanks so much Cinss...I just can't wait to finally be pregnant, I feel like this has been forever coming! I started this in August 2011 having my Implanon out and starting sups and diet in Nov 2011 ready for TTC in January. 6 months of TTC with messy cycles and constant BFN's, then taking a break till now, while losing weight, exercising, diet and sups to get ready for take 2. I think I will cry when I finally see that second line.

When you stopped charting did you still do opk? I would be afraid I would miss O if I did nothing at all. I only temped this month so I could check my CBFM was accurate and caught O. Now I know it works and understand when I will O approx after it peaks, I won't be temping again as it messes with my sleep. Might do CBFM and OPK just to be on the safe side, but won't be waking up all night desperate to know what my temp is today.

My Ovulation Chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3061e7)

I was mainly taking note of cm, as its pretty hard not to really so i just entered that in, dtd when it was ew and bam UTD :) And it was such an early O for me that cycle, i usually Od around CD17 not CD12!?

And i waited till AF was late to test so it was 24dpo that i saw my +.

My cycle this month was really weird. Got a +ve opk on CD 14 then a neg on CD 15, then a +ve again on CD16 then neg CD17. But got a peak on CBFM on CD 16 and 17. DTD CD 11, 12, 14, 16 and 17 so hopefully covered all bases there.

Must of tried to O on CD14 but didn't happen.

I only use opk but I might stop those after a couple months if bfn. I feel like it adds a huge element of stress for me. I tried temping but forgot every morning until I was walking around!

Afy I have had difficulty with the thought of gaining weight too. I use the app myfitnesspal and track what I eat. I have never been this heavy in my life. Not to mention that I put on 18 lbs last year when swaying, but that pg ended up in m/c. I can't afford to take any time off to lose the weight, my age is creeping up on me. My BMI is 26.0!

Y'all- the weight stuff.... Sucks. I'm so gross. I need to fully commit to pausing attempts for a few months to work on my current large and in chargeness. But, at the same time I kind of want to try again immediately. The last year has been such a roller coaster, I've gained about 35 lbs. :(.

My mil's intestines ruptured 1 year ago next week, and she was in ICU for about 2 months. We ate nothing but restaurants and fast food going back and forth to the hospital (about an hour away.) while she was in the hospital, my godmother was diagnosed with lung cancer and had surgery on my birthday (3/23.) one week after that, my appendix ruptured. The next month, we found out I was pregnant. 4 months later, we found out the baby had died. After 3 months we tried again and got pregnant. A month ago we found out it was a blighted ovum. (FYI- my mil and godmother are both doing ok now.)

I've been so preoccupied I've let my weight get gross. And I'm super discouraged. I either need or get skinny or pregnant, and those do not go together in my quest for a boy. :(

They can! You can eat HE and do it "clean" while exercising and lose weight slowly cause thats what I am doing as per atomics instructions. Small meals 7-8 times a day, balanced Protein/carbs at every meal, no junk at all but fresh healthy food, working out for no more than 45mins x6 times a week cardio and weights, you will lose heaps of fat and tone up gaining muscle which sways boy even more. I am losing about 1kg every 2-3 weeks but getting very toned so it's probably actually more fat loss than that, but I am gaining muscle. Clothes are heaps loser and I feel strong and firm (except my belly which is beyond repair after 5 babies lol).

Dh made me so mad last night I didn't even want to dtd. I tried to force myself but I couldn't. I keep trying to tell myself that many people get pregnant with boys doing nothing and having all different timing and hopefully my diet, attempts to increase testosterone, and weighlifting helped. It's Ok Kiki - I completely understand. Keep us posted, though! I am so excited to hear the news from everyone this month. I am just so happy to get to be a part of the March TTC group - excited to start hearing about some BFP's.

I feel like the best thing I have going for me is that I have gained about 15 lbs since we conceived DD (although I just feel gross now ;)). My eating is very different...with her I ate very little, lots of coffee and now I eat meals and snacks...The thing is, you can do all that you can do, and some still have girls and some have boys. Good news for us is that boys are more common (although I swear that all of our friends but 1 have all girls). I can say that GD has taught me more than anything I have ever read or heard and I appreciate the support so much of everyone here.

Good luck!

oh my gosh, thank you girls so much for talking about your weight! I have been so disgusted lately. I finally started upping my exercise a bit. Gained a little but I'm hoping it was mostly muscle and I'll see a drop down a bit. Anyway I was really nervous about gaining too much weight and being in more of an "unhealthy" state enough to effect my sway for blue :( I sure hope not. I too gained 25-30lbs since October.... yikes....Funny, I remember saying the same as one of you to my hubby a week or so ago "I gotta get pregnant or skinny quick cuz I can't stand it anymore"

I think you are the only one. Flava did extreme gender swaying for #4 and she got another girl...then went on to do an atomic personalised plan and finally got her son.p

Could you please tell me more about this atomic personalised plan?
I think I like extreme gender swaying because it's very similar to what they do in the clinics for thousands of dollars.
I'm not sure what the "monkey " thing is. I hope it might be a little bit more in my favor this time around my first marriage brought three beautiful little girls, I'm remarried and my dh has three also, two boys and one girl, and we had one girl together. So we shall see! I hope my dream comes true. I am so excited to get to know you ladies and join in this journey with you all. Thanks for all your advice and opinions... Good luck to you all :giggle::fx:

Princess of Pink

Atomic does a personalised plan up for you, it covers everything like diet, sups, exercise, lifestyle changes for both you and your DH. An exact guide to when to BD and everything that is suited to your own personal situation.

http://genderdreaming.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/PSS3.pdf

The "monkey" thing relates to the fact that extreme gender swaying is a method used on the ingender forum. That website is always crashing and pictures of monkey are put up saying the website is down. I personally don't believe extreme gender swaying works at all but everyone should do what they feel comfortable doing.

Morning everyone... Feel so crap :tissue: have I messed this month up? Had a pos opk yesterday morning.. So we had our first attempt around 1pm. Did another opk around 6pm... Still positive. Hubby was tired from work and fell ASLEEP!! So we missed our second attempt last nite. This morning he went wrk early - he has a big job on this week, with engine build hence why hes so tired this week. I just wondered if I could try tonight or have a missed it? Did another opk this morning... Still positive

Also I have a question, looking at the successful boy sways I see some ladies say they dtd on 0-5, 0-1, 0 etc

Does this mean, from ur first opk is that 0-5, the day after is 0-4 and so on... Then 0 would be the day of ovulation? 0+1, 0+2 going to 0+5 mean days after ovulation?

Yes thats right, back last year that was the timing pattern we were trying for O-4, O-2, and Oday. I think we were having trouble falling pregnant with that method though so now it is similar but adding the 3 attempts after +opk is more sucessful in BFP.

Me too Huds and my attempt didn't go like I had hoped either. I feel like by putting so much pressure on myself it's just making it worse. Next month I am going to try to relax more although when I am using opk that automatically raises the stress level! I have a presentation with the state this week and we just got bad news on the house we thought we bought so I'm almost hoping I'm not pregnant because this is the most stress I have been under in awhile. Luckily though it all came up this week after I would have ovulated.

Dh was doing his best to ruin this month for me too! What is their problem? I am literally only asking him to dtd. No cold showers, ice, and I didn't even ask him to drink caffeine. GRRRR.

As far as opk, I've found that I need to hold my pee for at least four hours and have very limited liquid. I'm not sure if this is because I bought internet cheapies but it took awhile for me to get a true positive because of that.

Lol men!! I'm smirking reading your comment about men. Well I worded hubby up today I told him if we're going to TTC next month we need to keep up with every 2-3days which isn't a problem so much but then I told him when we actually try we have to do 3 attempts whenever I get the green light. I'm preparing him ahead of time now lol I have no idea what he will do when the time comes..
I'm going to start my opks tomorrow, I've already been doing my CBFM.. I'm cycle day 9 and already got some EWCM..

Ok when we DTD and if we have ALOT of CM around that time of ovulation is that called EWCM or just CM? I have alot when Im DTD around the days I'm soon expected to ovulate, but wasn't sure if its classed as EWCM..

afy ewcm is the consistency of egg whites, if you scooped some out on your finger you would be able to stretch it without it breaking, its like a glob. CM is just the cloudy/clear watery stuff you have at the other times of the month.

Hi Huds,

I get tingly, tender breasts before ovulation and cramps the day before and the day of ovulation. And yes it is can be really bad at times. I once went to the doc to rule out appendicitis it was that bad, but I wasn't paying too much attention to my cycle at the time either. On the plus side it is an extra aid to help me pinpoint ovulation.

I have had tingly breasts as well but I am pretty certain I am not pregnant. A new trend with me seems to be cramping in my ovaries during the tww pretty consistently. There was no cramping after regular O cramps during the cycle I conceived last year which ended in mc.

Does anyone ever feel a lot of pressure in their very low pelvic area (almost like the labia is swollen) when you O? I know it's a weird question but I get it occasionlly when I O and am somewhat concerned. Sometimes it's really uncomfortable!

Lots of women get swollen labia around O...I'm one of them! For the longest time I kept switching my body wash, thinking that was the culprit. You can google it though, it's a pretty common sign of O.

Hey dont worry about it, there are really no cheats on the HE diet, cookies and coffee are fine occasionally, diet coke not so much but it may be something you crave, i dont know why but i craved coke so much early in this pregnancy. Just see what happens at the end of your 2ww, then if you have to jump back on the wagon you should be able to no problems, the start of another cycle is a fresh start. Sorry to hear about your house falling through, when we were buying our house we missed out on a lot that i thought i really really wanted and eventually we got the right one, im sure it will all work out for the best in the end.

No you haven't ruined your sway, you should have some good stores of nutrients happening from the foods you have been eating. The chemicals in the coke will just get flushed away. Anyway you may get a BFP this time so i wouldn't dwell on it. :)

I want to say that prior to getting pg and MC that my temps took a few days after AF to drop, but I am concerned...what if they don't? What if that is my new coverline? That totally sways girl, right? Usually I am either 97.18, 97.33 or 97.45 (my temps have always been one of those cycles). Honestly, at the end of the day we really do just want another healthy baby, but this silly part in me really wants to have a boy. Blarg. Blarg. Some days I wish I could be how I was in my 1st pregnancy...ignorance really is bliss...

What is the weather doing at the moment? Are you temping at the same time? I dont think BBT sways one way or the other.

Can someone help me? This morning there was blood when I went to the bathroom. I known. it's not implantation bleeding because I'm at most 6dpo which is too early. Plus I read it's only supposed to be a little when I wipe. It can out with urine once and I've gone twice since then and there was some on tp each time but not in toilet. I'm not due for AF for 7 more days! Is something wrong with me? I've convinced myself I have cysts or something.

Could be implantation bleeding at 6dpo? I have never had implantation bleeding so not sure how much there should be though, hope someone who has chimes in for you. :fingers:

I've never had it either but my ovaries feel like they're cramping and sometimes warm and I think that is typical for me. They do seem more intense but I didn't think cramping was associated with IB and the blood is gone so I don't know. My last BFP, I had no symptoms but a warming sensation near my ovaries which I get occasionally. I have been under a lot of stress since Monday so that may have something to do with it. Thanks for the FX!!

Its definatly not too early for IB Kiki, also i think fish oil somewhat thins the blood so if you had a slight cervical knock maybe from DTD? you could easily have a little blood come out.

Thanks we haven't dtd in 4 days because I've been so stressed and sad but I made dh release still, haha. I am just glad it's probably not a cyst. Definitely not expecting a BFP but would still be happy!

Hey Kiki I'm sure it's could be IB. My twin got it a couple days after she has concieved at this point she wasn't aware of being pregnant. And fish oil definitely thins the blood I noticed my own too! Hope all is well can't wait to hear from any BFP!

Used FMU and got a BFN this morning, I think I am out this month as it is 12dpo. That is 2 negative cycles so far, I felt a bit deflated.

Nevermind, I have just stepped my sway up a notch and purchased a personalised sway plan. Baby boy here I come!

I'm not testing as I don't believe much in the whole pH thing. And your pH the rest of your cycle is completely different to your pH in the fertile window so you would have to test it only at that time every cycle to see a difference.

Pop I had a lot of trouble conceiving last year and it's so emotionally and mentally draining. Someone suggested keeping a journal to get out thoughts or writing letters to your future baby so they can see how wanted they are. The waiting game is horrible though and people say don't stress or it will make it worse. I can't control my stress! Thankfully (I guess) there has been so many other issues going on, I haven't had time to focus too much on it. I guess the good thing is we can always come here to share! Good luck!

Oh and my husband was successfully able to renegotiate for our new house so we will be moving!! I was such a psycho emotional wreck about it for nothing, haha!

When is af due?

Today is CD12 according to FF but there was a slight pink tinge when I wiped this morning. I had blood tests at CD3, 7dpo and an u/s at 7dpo to check and see if anything is wrong with my fertility. GP is going to refer me to a specialist to see if they can suggest something to help me get pregnant quicker. I am worried something is out of wack, normally DH and I only have to look at each other to fall pregnant, I have had losses, but actually falling pregnant is usually the easy part! Every time I have decided to have a baby I have fallen pregnant first cycle, and a few times when I wasn't even trying lol.

12dpo, spotting started full on today, expect AF to start fully tomorrow. I think my LP is getting shorter, it used to be 14 days. Fingers crossed the tests maybe picked something up that can be fixed. I just don't get why my cycle is a perfect 28 days with O on CD14 when I am not TTC, and as soon as I start taking sups and tracking O properly my cycles goes all messy??

I wonder if our stress level has anything to do with it? I'm so paranoid about getting everything right. I've been replaying all the things I did wrong the past week. I usually get a little stressed when ttc (I am so type A) but this is another level. I don't know if you're like me but I also think ahead to the future and freak out about getting another girl. Obviously we would all love a healthy daughter but that weighs on me a lot. I hope you're not like me in that respect because it makes the waiting game much worse. I even got a heating pad and never used it. No reason just never did it and now I keep thinking about that, haha.

I know what you mean it is very strange! I'd probably still be trying if i didn't give up. Kiki may be onto something the stress = higher testosterone? That could be the only culprit don't you think? Its not like the other supps are horemonal things so i really don't get it either.

Swaying messed with my cycles too, I used B6 to help with my LP, it seemed to help it get back to normal. Have you tried stopping all the supps and just focusing on diet and exercise with Preseed? Hopefully your dr can give you some answers.

What's the earliest dpo you've had success testing on? Since my mysterious bleeding a few days ago, I'm starting to get curious. Should I just wait until af is due Friday or can I test earlier? I have cheap Internet tests. With dd I tested 2 days after my missed af because I had a cp the month before so I have no experience with early testing.

I used to test at 10dpo, it was pretty disappointing though seeing the BFNs, its up to you really, it can get addictive and some would test every day until AF arrives.

I am officially joining you all! *THINK* we had our first attempt last night, second this afternoon during lunch. Question - I got my smiley face on my OPK 3 days earlier than I had anticipated around 10am this morning...and I am thinking I will OV tomorow...so here is what we have currently BD'd: Friday O-4, Sunday O-2, Monday 0-1...so do we BD one more time tonight and have 2 attempts on 0-1 or do we wait until tomorrow morning and have 3 days in a row? Really trying to get pregnant after the MC but at the same time, trying to sway boy the best we can. I hope we haven't messed anything up. Thanks!

I am not an early tester but for some reason I did and got a bfn. I think I'm 9dpo. I usally won't test but I've had pregnancy symptoms typical for me, increased discharge and constipation (which sucks!) and the light bleeding a week before af really is unusal. Got my results back today:

AMH 12.6 pmol/L
FSH 5 u/L
LH 4 u/L
Oestradiol 135 pmol/L

Progesterone CD2 0.5 nmol/L....7dpo 24 nmol/L

She said everything was good, but my ovarian reserve is below normal levels (14-30).

My u/s showed haemorrhagic cyst on R ovary and simple cyst on L ovary. My uterus is enlarged and the lining is not smooth, shows evidence of the start of fibroids.

I have been referred to a reproductive specialist, appt 16th April.

She suggested that first approach would be clomid and monitoring, or maybe IUI.

What hope do I have swaying boy if I get put on clomid???

My cycles usually last 32days. But for some reason.. Last month Af was really delayed!!! So it came on the 1st march. I got a pos opk on the 11th and 12th. Ov on 13th. Just wondered when i should expect af this month. I used to be able to track my af. Gosh after eating my dinner on monday night.. I had a nose bleed. How random. Has anyone experienced that? Im guessing its cd 13 i ov'd on bcos that morning my temperature shifted and went high that morning.. - but unsure. But i had pos opk on cd11 and cd12.. Is that normal? I didnt have an Af in feb, it was due on the 22nd of feb. I think bcos i started taking my sup that month maybe thats what delayed my af. I dont know whats going on with my cycles.. Sups usually delay O, not AF...which in turn pushes AF later. Are you taking B6 or Soy Iso? These often lengthen LP.

Yes i think its too early to test. I read that implantation usually happens between 6-10 days AFTER ovulation. Also after implantation your body starts producing the hcg hormone. It will show up in your blood very soon after, but it takes 1-3 days to show up in the urine
