Becca- don't lose hope yet. Last month I geared up for O - lines just shy of positive then within 24 hrs pretty much gone...my temps, however, we're still in my pre-O range. Two days later the lines got dark and I got a +tive. Keep testing. Do you do a bbt chart to confirm O? I couldn't do this without one. I think I'd be lost and also guessing where I was in my cycle.

Last month on cd15 is when I ovulated so I didn't do opk until then this month and nothing. Nothing today either. But I didn't feel myself o and my cm wasn't the same but not sure. I'll check tomorrow again. I don't temp no. I'm not that skilled.

I feel ok about my sway. I did my boy supplements and the diet part of my sway I did the best I could given I don't eat meat. I probably could have had more fish and gotten a little more protein but I ate more than I normally do since I eat more "pink" by nature. I hope I get pregnant because I really hate thinking about food and having a checklist to think about. So we'll see! Fertility Friend has me 2dpo so now I wait! I'm also on my 2nd month TTC.

thanks ladies, im a total stress head bunnywabbit,, however I have hope in a thread atomic posted the other day saying stress does NOT sway blue and can infact sway pink. im hoping this is true. Its done now, Im thinking if I ovulated yesterday I will hopefully still have some swimmers in there from Thursday evening (48 hours), guess its just a waiting game, thought I was 3dpo today but I could realistically only be 1dpo :(

Feeling awful. Horridhorridhorrid... Dr has changed one of my meds since I mentioned we were ttc. Swapped me out for what is essentially Gaviscon. I can barely stomach it. Started with indigestion last night but had to wait an hour because I had just taken my other meds. Took a dose and did very little, maybe because it was too late - indigestion makes me feel sick anyway, but adding that to the equation really didn't help. So was sick last night. Stomach felt delicate into this morning - not indigestion, just burnt I guess. Of course, made the mistake of taking my folic acid quickly while making something to eat. Throwing up nothing but cold water again this morning. :sad:

Had a protein fix which helped a little (pitta bread with a lightly fried egg, yolk and all) Thinking I'm going to have to have a word with the Dr again. Surely there's something else I can take, preferably in time-release and pill form?! Just argh!

DH is asking if it's morning sickness. I wish it were, but BFN for me yesterday. Maybe too early anyway - only CD18...

I'm taking meds for rheumatoid arthritis (hydroxychloroquine), of which one of the side effects can be stomach ulcers so taking gastro resistant meds to stop the effects. My GP wanted to take me off omeprazole which works like a dream because we're ttc and could possibly have side effects for me or baby either during pregnancy and/or when breastfeeding. Wish I could have something that's time release one a day pill form like the omeprazole...

Thinking I might be out this month. :( I'm ready for this swaying thing to be over. I got pregnant VERY easily with my 3(like 1st month) but now it's about 1yr 9months since my last pregnancy and Im 37 so Im scared I will have problems getting pregnant. If it doesn't happen this month I will be on my 3rd month trying. While I desperately want a boy what if I don't get pregnant at all? I'm using donor sperm so I only have 2 more months to try. I'm scared a 4th baby won't happen for us.
I've always felt crampy around this time during the 2ww, skin breaking out, getting tired. This time nothing. :(

6 dpo is very early Happy, implantation may not have even occured yet and there wont be any pregnancy symptoms until that happens. So there's still loads of hope! :)

I took Rephresh only 2.5 hours before attempt.
We had protected sex two nights ago so we dtd three times right in a row using third batch.

Afraid I am going to miss O. Should I wait for pos OPK or use calender method, I ovulated CD 14 last cycle. Confusing!
Maybe it is pos tmrw, hope so.

One attempt is scary, but people do get pregnant with one attempt. I hope I can get it as close to O as possible. And with no jelly and antihistamines I might have a chance...

So I'm going to the store today and get the first response brand. Seems that is the most sensitive one on the market that I read. I'm really bummed about the bfn, but I blame the crappy test lol so I still have hope!

Yep all done, did the one attempt on the 10th so I'm 10dpo...bfn :( I think the EPT digital sucks though! I only lost 3 lbs before I conceived my daughter and was in 5 lbs of where I conceived my boys. These things are just tendencies, they're meant to help a bit but no one's sway stands or falls on any of them.

I'm not trying to discourage, I just have to keep the info accurate because otherwise we have blue swayers trying to gain 75 lbs for getting a boy and that doesn't work, and pink swayers who are on the heavy side getting discouraged and thinking they can't get a daughter.

I have lost 5, gained 5, it keeps yoyoing ugh! I have failed at working out the 6days. We had to move in the new house and now unpacking and getting ready for our trip...I have no time. I am at my heaviest adult weight for sure, so that def has me worried. I'm 5'6 130lb and can't seem to get lower without gaining back:( I know it's not a magic bullet, but I have been on the diet 10weeks so I'm just hoping for the best ;)

I was most definitely NOT skinny or even slim when i conceived my two girls, but i ate very badly and very little protein except for in the evening, but even then it was mostly chicken and id give hubby most of whatever meat we were having and id have the rice/pasta and sauce. Barely ate veg and no fruit! So dont worry about how much you weigh, it is all about how and what you are (or are not!) eating! I also ate lasagne and spag bol and steak, so cheating every so often wont ruin your sway either!

I am not in the TWW - hopefully that will be next week (!), but just wanted to add GimmeaG, I totally get what you are venting about. We live somewhere that ONLY sells dodgy HPTs. My husband travels back for work to the developed world regularly and a couple of cycles ago I asked him to get me some good HPTs. I gave him a couple of brands to look for and he bought ONE test. I said thank you but thought 'are you serious?" I would have bought 20!!

But I am a serious POAS addict. Anyway, I blew it on day 8 of my first cycle after receiving it and back to using the cheapies I can buy here for less than a $1 a go. I seriously doubt they would show anything before AF is due, but it doesn't stop me from trying!

DH doesn't get it either, but then again he feels like he is doing just as much as me in this sway by drinking some soy milk and taking LR. Not really comparable to starving yourself and exercising like a lunatic every day, but I am not about to tell him that! He is more on board than a lot of DH's around this site and that is enough for me.

Well when I missed my period i assumed I was pregnant and will this time too.
But confirmation is nice!
With Liam it took seven tests so when I got a pos I didn't want my hopes up. So went to hospital and their test said no but blood test yes.

I never had a BFP but tons of..what I guess can be AF symptoms, but I never really experience them before. Guess it doesn't matter, chemical or AF...either way I'm bleeding, so I guess I'm out this month:( DH had to leave for work this morning as I'm bawling, said don't worry we will try again in Germany...I don't know why I expected that first attempt to work. For any of you on another attempt...does it always hurt this bad or am I just being a big baby? Guess the bright side is, my next attempt will be on holiday as originally planned and I will have been on the diet longer. Thanks for letting me vent again girls, your like my second family xoxo

Can relate to this! I am convinced IF I do get a BFP this month it's going to be another boy. My sway was pretty non existent this month. My diet consisted of many, many cheat days where I went over on calories. It was DS's 4th birthday so there was an abundance of birthday cake and cupcakes, party food, which spilled over in to leftovers the next day, several meals out with family to celebrate and takeaways too. Whilst I avoided the major no-no's as best as I could, my calories were probably WAY over, pushing me into boy territory. This basically ruined any chances of a sway this month, but I had to do it for my son and my family. I refuse to not be part of the celebrations as I always said I would never let TTC affect my DS - he would have questioned me if I wasn't joining in with celebrations!
I also stopped taking an antihistamine so all I have been taking is folic acid and the attempts, well. Let's not even go there. There were about 5 of them - all before O. OOOPS!
This month is very much the sway that wasn't!

Haha ya the big O is a big no no lol and I totally was all about it;) unless implantation bleeding is heavy and bright red I'm assuming its AF. It's only 3days early but my cycle is like clockwork, every 28 days. Just kinda strange the one time I ttc I get an early AF...seems suspicious to me.

Well I have the clear blue monitor and I felt the O pains next day after peak opk, do you think maybe it was a chemical and just never implanted so maybe I lost it? If it is a short LP does that mean it will be harder to concieve and implant??!! Is there anything I can take to make it longer if need be? I've just never had this problem before having it early :(

It takes 10 days for a baby to implant. So anything under 10 days is a luteal phase defect.

Becca- I think you need to start the B6 at a certain point in your cycle or it could mess things up. Maybe ask Atomic. I don't remember where I heard this but it's worth looking in to. :)

Crazylady, wait a few days before testing. I tested a lot first time, and then waited until 12 DPO. I know it is hard. But you get so frustrated and confused. Read a good book ;) try to think about something else. Easily said then done.

Really not thinking this is our month though. :( Day 7&8dpo I thought for sure I could be pregnant. Implantation dip followed by a 0.5 degree spike on chart and felt exhausted. When I say exhausted, I mean abnormally fatigued. Then yesterday, 9dpo, I felt great again. A day where I thought. Nope. Nothing. I'm out. My LP is always 11 days - af on day 12. I never get a positive before day 11 though. At least I will either get a BFP or AF on Sunday and won't have to wonder much longer. Really hoping for a positive but not getting my hopes up. :(

Hello ladies!! Came in 2 report that I'm 8dpo today & I feel absolutely NO sign of being pregnant @ all :( no implantation bleeding, sore breast, nothing!! The ONLY things I feel are lower back ache & one day I had left sided cramping- that was it. AF due in 6 days so I'm just waiting. This is our 6th cycle & I'm honestly just so exhausted by now!!! I've been also very very sad & angry lately cuZ next month in sept would've been my due date month & I can't help

I can't believe I didn't see this post sooner! I've been wondering around on here trying to figure out where to post! lol I'm in the 2ww and I'm going crazy! I'm on CD13.. we DTD CD11 and I swear I was ovulating on CD11 so I'm concerned! (CD11 is pretty early for me to O but I had the pains all day) I had been using Clearblue easy opk and ran out during this cycle, grabbed some at walmart and accidentally got the "advanced" opk.. it shows "High" fertility and "peak" fertility.. well I never got a "high" reading (I test twice a day), just showed up as "peak" 2 days sooner than I was expecting. Soooo.. I'm not really expecting a BFP this time, but I'm still hoping!!

Luteal Phase. The period from ovulation to period. Needs to be at least ten days to sustain a pregnancy. Anything lower is a Luteal phase defect.

Speaking of alcohol, can that affect the opk? I had some vodka Wednesday with dinner and got +opk that night.. With the clearblue easy advance, the smiley DOESN'T GO AWAY! In fact, it's STILL there so I haven't been able to test to see if it was a false +... anyone have any info on this? If I get a BFN this cycle, I'm definitely switching back to the regular clearblue opk!

My attempt was last night, but I did HSG shot. I heard it takes 11 days to get the shot out of your system so in a way that is a good thing so I don't have to test everyday. I only did one attempt & I am not to hopeful but it can still happen!! So, let's pray for me!!

Oh, I soooo want a boy but truly I'm quickly realizing that if it came down to it - I just want another baby. I got pregnant so easily the first three times (like 1st month trying with all 3) that this go has been more difficult. I don't think I'm going to be pregnant this month which makes next month the 3rd try. :( I really want to be pregnant this month. I took a test today and at 10dpo - it obviously want neg. The other thing that makes me think that this month won't be the month it with my other 3 pregnancies, I had lots of cm before and through my positive test. This month cm disappeared 2 days ago which is what I tend to do before af....which "should" arrive on Sunday. We shall see! :)

I am not sure if It is short, I'll find out Tuesday if my period comes. If so that me and It's 8 days. I thought my lp was short with the boys but it actually would of been 10 or 11. Which is just enough. I hope my 28 day cycle changes to accommodate my late O.
My son is nursing, he's 14 months though so you wouldn't think it would effect it as much as a 7 month old. But he still gets up a bunch at night.

This is my first 2ww and I'm only 4 DPO and this morning my husband made the comment "you have to be pregnant!" ...my face is breaking out, my sense of smell is heightened, and DH got into a fight last night that was completely ridiculous and my fault and when we were done fighting he said "the last time you acted like this you were pregnant".. I've read on here it's impossible to have symptoms this early so what the heck is the deal?! Am I really just a crazy person with bad acne?! :(

You could course be pregnant :) but I doubt that it will give youbny symptoms by now. The earliest ould be 8DPO. I have had lots of symptoms but still got BFN :(

Yes it was clearblue advance - I paid a fortune for it as my regular opk was just basic and only shows the line on day of O but now I've had 3 months ovulating on CD20 so think I will go with nature next time or try an evening test rather than mornings

Thank u 4 the kind words. I'm just sooooooo depressed :( I gave in & tested today @ 10dpo & it was a BFN :( I don't know. This is cycle 6 & I'm just exhausted. I have those stupid "symptoms" again & like EVERY other month it's been pre-pms symptoms. Did you test @ 10dpo? I had the left side pain 5dpo, all over stomach cramps 9dpo, & just the usual back ache, nausea, & killer boob pains in between. God I just wanna bawl my eyes out :(

It's like being punched in the gut!! I feel worse cuz what a thought was a quick positive line was actually the control line appearing on the test. It's funny now that I think about it but so heart breaking @ that moment
