Sounds fine, Tree. The only thing I would say is if you can go without the afternoon or evening snack and have the Snack-a-Jacks as part of your other meals, that might be better if you can do it.

Ok thank you. Is that to get the blood sugar down between eating? If so how long between meals is good?

Yes, it is. You should avoid snacking and stick to 2-3 meals a day, so whatever works for you with skipping breakfast. I do approximately noon, 3pm and 6pm. Obviously if you are struggling and feeling dizzy, you should have the ricecakes. ;)

I'm basically living on a low salt microwave meal (usually weight watchers) and 3 rice krispie Squares a day for food, it's unhealthy but if I'm lucky it might sway girl.
I've been trying for 5 months and this is the first one off Vitex as I feel it's stopping me conceive. I got pregnant with 1 & 2 first shot and #3 is taking it's time but it will all be worth it.
For my diet I'm getting about 75% of GDA of salt, 1200-1400 calories, a few glasses of vodka and 5 cigarettes per day. I will get my donor to donate to me in the morning, so it's easier to skip breakfast. I'm keeping about 3-4 hours from when I wake up until I eat.
Hope that helps someone!

AS drank loads of caffeine when she conceived her DD - I think the rationale is that it stops you absorbing some of the vitamins in food. Sorry I cannot find the link.

I know some of you ladies are drinking cranberry juice. Juice has a lot of nutrients, so it would be best to leave it out for a girl sway. Caffeine is fine as long as you have it in large amounts, it's only one part of the sway though so 8 cups of coffee won't automatically get you a girl.

They are currently giving away free samples so you can try before you buy! You have to do a short survey, it took me only a few minutes. The link to the survey is at the bottom of the home page:

Any ideas to keep me relatively LE but also not get moaned at for not joining in with the treats?? X

Personally considering you have only started the diet two days ago I would probably just not worry about it tonight and enjoy it. And then start from fresh tomorrow keeping within your limits.
You could have a little treat on the LE diet, but to keep within your limits you really can't eat too much of fatty, cheesy stuff, so I'd just enjoy it tonight. You could try to leave out the meat though.

Sorry it took a while to report back. I shared these noodles with my mum. I cooked them with cod, loads of garlic and dark soya sauce (although these things are probably not allowed on the LE diet but I am not doing it yet so just reporting on what I did). We really enjoyed the meal. The noodles tasted OK but glad I drowned them in soya and garlic!! Knowing how few calories we consumed, we did end up having magnum ice creams afterwards....(as I said, not on the LE diet yet and making the most lol)
I will be buying again :)

Hello ladies
Fellow uk- er here!
Just been skimming through all these and it seems some ladies are pregnant already. Is there anyone left ttc? We are starting this month!!
Only been on LE for 2 weeks and tbh its gone pear shaped already. Religiously skipped breakfast but have had the odd snack. I didnt really eat much meat before just chicken at a weekend.
I feel like I am eating loads though, I am having veg/rice stir fry for tea or a salad wrap etc..but have a bag of walkers sunbites or a WW muffin everynight after tea.
Im not really loosing weight although I am having about 1000-1100 cals a day!!! x

Hi Ladies,
Does anyone have any tips for condiments ?
I usually use French's Mustard, Whole Grain mustard, Tobasco Chipotle, or some other hot sauce.
I didn't see any of these on the diet list, so just used a bit of natural yogurt mixed with Mrs Dash, tonight...which was really boring tbh !
Any tips would be massively appreciated !

Hi I've just found this thread, sorry if I repeat anything but 30 pages is a lot to catch up on. I've been on the le diet for 3 months now and it's taken me ages to get to grips with. I'm just waiting on af then it's go time for me.
My staples have been chicken, white rice, sweet potato, broccoli, mrs dash (got from eBay) drinking crystal light (from amazon) drinking organic ss milk, decaf tea with candarel (aspartame) green tea. No pots, tomatoes, red meat. Taking sups, Angnus castus, cranberry, magnesium, folic acid. Hubby is on diet too and taking cranberry, biotin, LR and magnesium. As well as salt rock lamp, no exercise, pink ribbon under pillow etc.
I'm so over it now so hoping I catch first time.
Just confused over timing now, original plan was to freq bd between 6-3 days before then cut off (shettles) but now I read most are doing one shot a O? I don't get it, can anyone help me with this?

Hi lya! If you don't have one get a personalized plan from atomic it really takes the stress out of swaying! There is a great day to day meal thread Stephk started which gives you loads of le diet ideas as your diet sounds a little more ingender than le :) you can eat way more varied food on le. Most of us ttc girls are doing one attempt at a positive opk or if you would prefer BD once every four days this should guarantee just one attempt in your fertile window
hope this helps and welcome xxx p.s come join the thread Christmas babies! TTC pink in April

crabsticks should be fine, but watch the protein content. I havent eaten them for years so I dont know how much protein is in them. FYI, i am having crab for dinner tonight, there is 19g in the amount I have. My personal goal for protein is up to 60g per day whereas the general recommendation is 40-50g a day. I just find it too hard to get 40-50g a day so go for a little more.

If you arent prepared to have another boy swaying isnt the best idea. Swaying only does what it says in that it sways you towards one gender or another so preparing yourself for either is the safest way to go I think. You're in the best place to start, all the info is here and if you go elsewhere you will end up here anyway  Good luck!

Hiya! Wishing4agirl I've bought a personalised plan, there is so much outdated/ conflicting advice out there and everything in my plan makes sense to me- you can wade through hundreds of studies on here but the plan summarises everything so well. It's great for me (I'm not even sure we will have another), as now I am much more aware of boy and girl friendly things. If we do go on to have another boy I think I will get comfort from the fact that I had and used the information given and it just wasn't meant to be

Hi everyone I'm new here but have done quite a lot of reading around swaying. We have one perfect baby boy already but am planning to sway for Ttc a girl starting in April. I have been looking everywhere in the uk for calcium citrate but can't find any as it's always calcium carbonate. Any tips as to where to get it from? Also I've bought replens to use 3 days before we plan to bd. I'm going to start with a cut off and then see how long it takes as find it hard to exactly pin point o. I am struggling with the diet as I love meat and potatoes but trying my hardest. Does anyone know how long it takes for food/drink to change ph? So if I drank loads of aspartame how long after would it take for ph to drop? Thanks in advance!

I'm tracking my ph now and it was 4.3-4.9 pre ovulation and went up to 6.1 on ovulation day! This was pre diet so hoping it will be lower this cycle ! It's quite sciencey which I like. Is anyone still eating lots of chocolate? I find it hard to cut down as feel like I have much less energy since cutting back on other things

We're in our 4th month of TTC and I'm 3 or 4 days past +OPK I sincerely hope I've done enough with my pink sway if I get a BFP! Does anyone else get completely nervous thinking maybe they could have done more?!
My diet is completely different to how I used to eat and drink and I have Chitosan and try lavender wash and painting my nails often so I hope that adds up to attracting a healthy :pinksperm:

I'm from Derbyshire in the UK. Had a missed miscarriage in Nov. Now we are in the third cycle ttc again for a pink bundle. I did and will get nervous about my sways. But I also know that kitchen sink sways don't always work so I'm not going to stress myself over it as I know that's not good

Oh I am sorry eleena2014, it is so sad isn't it, no matter how far along you are to miscarry, I had one last June and another in between my two lovely boys!
Keeping as relaxed as possible I know is a good thing about pink sways I just always get a bit nervous after and waiting!
Here's hoping we are blessed with very much wanted pink bundles!

Happy Mother's Day ladies! Hope you've had lovely days and those of us TTC lets hope we are blessed with our much desired pink/blue bundle of joy, who knows next Mother's Day she/he might have arrived!
I've tried to be good with my LE diet today but have had a cupcake, my little boy picked it for me and was so happy about me having it I couldn't not have it, bless him!
Hi dove_love! Are you swaying pink too? I've been off contraception for a long time but my periods have been bouncing about the last few months?! Trying to not get stressed about it though! Sure it'll settle down again! :fingers:
Hopefully you suss out your cycle soon!! And you get a nice OV each month when you expect it!!

Hi UK ladies. We're still waiting to TTC but not long now. I'm a pretty relaxed person but also quite controlling so I'm trying hard to have an easy attitude about my sway. We did a great sway last time but DTD lots of times in the fertile window as I was getting too skinny, so I think that's why we go another boy. Fortunately he's awesome fun so I don't mind. But I do want pink this time!

didnt know where to post this.If we dtd 2 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation (this was during the time i had ovulation pains) which attempt would you be more likely to get pregnant from? which batch of sperm would have got the the egg first? does anyone know?
AlliBalli11
March 18th, 2015, 05:04 PM
Hi eleena2014, I'm not sure, you would think in theory the first batch of spermies would be there with hopefully pinks waiting strongly for the egg?? I'm really not sure though sorry, hopefully Atomic might see this question! Have you got Dream membership that you can ask her the question? Good luck for a pink spermy meeting a healthy egg!!!!

Thanks AlliBalli. I wanted to try next cycle, which would be about two weeks time, but I feel my sway isn't strong enough yet due to my diet last month, although Atomic and other genderdreaming veterans feel that I've done enough. I'm worried that I'd regret rushing if I get another failed sway

Completely understand weeziewoozies I've read quite a few relaxed succesful pink sways  which is hopeful but if you're anything like me dreaming of a DD you think "I just couldn't be that lucky!" :o
I think Atomic is probably right she has knowledge of 100's of sways, go with your instincts! Keep us posted on your thoughts! :o

eleena2014 when do you find out if you get a BFP?! Have you had any clues with your question DTD 2 days and OV days?! I do hope so hope you have a healthy pink sperm waiting for you egg!
eleena2014
March 21st, 2015, 05:35 PM
No clues.lol. I think the earliest I will test is next Friday. If I can wait even that long. I'm completely relaxed as to if I have conceieved or not.usually I'm symptom spotting and reading up symptoms so many days past ovulation. But this month, with having 2 bfn the past 2 months I'm not bothering

I got these from Amazon, and they smell almost like Murray Mints in a mug !

Hello! New here. Very overwhelmed!
I felt like I might give a sway a try but it seems like a huge commitment.
Im wondering if those with personalised plans have had more success than those without? A bit plagued with unreliability I know but just a rough idea before I commit to all of this!
Thanks very much xx

Oh shoot just happened to click on this and I see there are questions - it is impossible for me to keep up on the support threads. There are just too many and they move too fast for me to answer qu's in these threads. PLEASE start a unique thread with your questions in the swaying forums because that will help me answer your questions. :)

Yes, we do get better results with our personalized plans (which is actually a bit surprising given that many people who get them, have health issues or fertility challenges and are not always able to sway that strictly.) Something about taking the pressure off of your mind, having to make all the big decisions and do a lot of research on your own, may help your sway to have a Custom Plan. :)

Hi UK ladies, I wonder if anyone can help? Which OLE is your DH taking? I can only find a really high dose for DH (in Holland and Barrett), far beyond the amount that Atomic recommends. Has anyone managed to find a more suitable option? Would really appreciate your suggestions.

Hi UK ladies, haven't managed to read the entire thread but will be swaying for pink, I have purchased the sway plan for peace of mind.
I wondered if anyone has found any ready meals/pasta sauces which keep us within the ratios? I was thinking maybe a healthy vegetable lasagne for a cheat meal? Or a ready made pasta sauce or soup? Would be handy to have some suggestions :-)

Hi Chocolate! Your name makes me hungry!! Yum!
I have been using 'Risotto Pronto' as a ready meal. It's dead easy, just add water and it makes quite a nice risotto (a posh pot noodle!). I just add girl friendly veg to it and DH likes it too. Really useful for when I'm 'hangry' and can't be bothered to make a meal! Would love to hear other ideas too. Think there's a thread somewhere with loads of meal ideas, some UK ladies on there too with some great ideas!
How are you finding the personalised plan? I'm very, very tempted to get one myself. want to avoid micromanaging everything and Atomic is truly an expert!

Hi Glittermouse, can you tell I love chocolate ;-) Sounds great! I'm doing a Pcos version though so trying to go for wholegrains etc. But that's hard with ready made meals etc. I need to dedicate a day and make some sauces and meals to freeze, it's the eating part that causes me the most worry and planning. I'm just waiting for my plan to be sent but I think.its worth it to know exactly what to do.

Hi UK ladies
Just a quick question...which cheap internet OPKs are you using? The good ladies in another thread I created have recommended Wondfo, but they seem very expensive to buy from Amazon in the UK as opposed to Amazon in the US. Can anyone here let me know which you are using? Thanks girls x

Hi GlitterMouse I use the one step 20mIU highly sensitive sticks from Amazon along with my fertility monitor. They seem to work very well for me, they even pick up my ovulation before my monitor!

I think uncle bens make whole grain pasta and rice snack pouches - sure I've seen some in the shops? I've seen OLE tablets on Amazon - may be worthwhile sending a link to one for atomic to check its ok?
I am having cinnamon bagels with a fruit pot for lunch today, looking forward to it already! Just had a coffee for breakfast, missing snacking whenever I like!!! Xx

Hi- I know you said cheap, but thought id mention i use Tesco OPK's (i found the internet ones bit flimsy) They are about £9 for a box of 7 though so might not be what you are after. Sainsbury's also have own brand OPK's for £7. I found them reliable and solid.

Hi squigglepink, thanks for your reply. I've been using Tesco and Sainsbury's own brand too. I agree, they are really good. The other ladies just recommended using those cheap, flimsier ones and then backing it up with a more expensive one if I get a positive. Seems a good way to save money, especially if this sway goes on a bit! However, the wondfo ones seem to be working out at £1 each anyway, which like you say the Sainsbury's ones cost that anyway!! I can see why the US girls like them though as they are super cheap for them to buy. Think I will continue with the Sainsbury's/tesco's for now. Will update you if I find anything else cheaper and just as reliable x

Not at all sguigglepink! Your reply was useful- you clarified what I'm already doing and anyway, its always nice to chat to someone!! I'm not planning to track much either, my cycle is all over the place and maybe even more so after doing LE and exercise. When are you going to ttc? My first attempt is may/june. I thought I would track for April, just to see if I'm actually even ovulating! In my other thread, Atomic commented that this was the best option and that ovulation dates can vary anyway. After this month of investigating, I will do the same as you, hopefully get that positive and do one attempt. Have you been swaying long? Are you doing exercise and LE?

Ive been using OPK's since November last year and i have been getting consistent positives, just not on the same day of my cycle.. (was hoping to track ovulation) But that's ok now that i know about the one attempt. This cycle was the first cycle i didnt test because i ran out and thought ill just leave it till im ready for attempt, which, is more than likely June, although May is tempting so that i can move away from the LE diet - which ive been on since beginning of February. It was cool at first, but Easter weekend was the true test which i failed miserably!! Im just a weakling for chocolate!! :) I am currently couch potatoe but will be starting to exercise some time in April. Im thinking treadmill.

Ooh, so we will be ttc-ing pink around the same time! Pink dust to us both! I'm tempted to go for May too. I'm 38 and think we need to get cracking! Easter weekend was so difficult wasn't it? I also succumbed to chocolate, not to mention a huge, groaning family buffet table where I gorged myself all day! I started LE in January and have been doing an hour of cardio on the TM 5-6 times per week since then too. Its been a slog dragging myself out to the garage in the wind, rain and cold!! Couch potato sounds a much more sensible option!
If you decide to go down the exercise route, you (and anyone else interested of course!!!) should come and join us on the daily motivation for exercise thread. It's a lovely, supportive group and all are welcome!

Hey, it's hard for me to keep up with these support threads, I realize this is an old post but when you guys have questions like this, I want to help, but i need you to start a dedicated new thread in which to ask the question.
To answer your q, it's just a disclaimer. Tons of people use it around the world when trying to conceive and they have stuck that warning on the label to protect themselves from getting sued but it is believed to be safe when used in the way that we take it (stopping at ovulation every month when you're actively TTC) and many people take it all month even into pregnancy (I prefer you to not do that, though)

I've been utilizing OPK's since November a year ago and I have been getting reliable positives, just not around the same time of my cycle.. (was wanting to track ovulation) But that is alright now that I think about the one endeavor. This cycle was the principal cycle I didn't test since I ran out and thought sick simply abandon it till I'm prepared for the endeavor, which, is more than likely June, despite the fact that May is enticing with the goal that I can move far from the LE slim down was cool at, to begin with, yet Easter end of the week was the genuine test which I bombed wretchedly!!
Do you think you're ovulating at a different time of month every month???

Hello! UK mummy hoping to sway pink!!
Been watching my diet, was exercising but had to stop for two weeks, I’ve had an unexpected early +opk, should we dtd??! Wasn’t expecting for about 3/4 days yet, anyway, will be doing my exercise later, should we skip this month and wait until I have another few weeks of exercise done? I have 3DS who would all dearly love a sister DH and I definitely included in that we would love a DD! What to do?! Atomic? Anyone?
