Bad news for me. They found an XXX so there is 96% chance that i have to terminate the pregnancy. I take CVS tomorrow and will have results on Wedneesday. The worst part is it's a girl. I can't believe this is happening to me.

First, I am so sorry that the results were not perfect but I would definitely wait for confirmation. PLEASE research this. It is not necessarily grounds for termination at all and there is a mosaic form of this too which means she may not be affected at all.

A mosaic form also occurs where only a percentage of the body cells contain XXX while the remainder carry XX. The extent to which an individual is affected by the condition will depend upon the proportion of XXX to XX throughout.[1] Triple X results during division of a parent's reproductive cells and occurs about once in every 1,000 female births. Unlike most other chromosomal conditions (such as Down syndrome), there is usually no distinguishable difference to the naked eye between women with triple X and the rest of the female population.

Thus, Triple X syndrome most often has only mild effects, or has no unusual effects at all. The most common side affect is being taller than average!

So, she may still be totally normal. Even if she has it, you should really speak with a genetic counselor and someone in PEDIATRIC genetics to discuss what living XXX females are like. I hope the CVS shows there is nothing at all wrong but of all the things to come back, this one is actually a non-issue for many of the people living with it. The vast majority of XXX females are never diagnosed because they present no issues.

The fact that most XXX are I diagnosed should speak volumes. Please get a second or third opinion. Talk to someone that actually is familiar with the issue and has seen living proof of a person with xxx.

I will be thinking if you today. Big hugs! Is there a geneticist you can speak with through your clinic? They would be a better resource for you. When I had all my testing I had to go through the geneticist. She was extremely more knowledgeable than my Dr about this stuff.
Plus many women are not even dx and live very normal lives. I hope you find the right answers.

Can anyone on this board help me? Does anyone know anything about dreams & what they mean? Since the beginning of this pregnancy {be4 the idea ever entered or even crossed my mind} I've been having dreams of twins!! Always a boy & girl. I've had this dream about 4 or 5 times already. In the last dream I was being told your having twins, it's 2 in there, {my name} your having twins! Then when I told my best friend that I was pregnant, she calls me the next day to say- OMG I dreamt with u & you were having two babies!!! { I never told her my dreams of twins} honestly, I haven't had a single ultra sound done so I don't know how many babies I'm carrying. I just want to know why I keep dreaming of twins? & what does it mean? Hope someone can shed some light! Thanks! Oh!! & also this morning the dream of twins came back. By the way- when I go to sleep i am NOT thinking of babies, baby, or anything baby related. I'm thinking of the holiday shopping lol so why not dream of that instead if that was my last thought be4 falling asleep lol

Hi, So this is what happened. I did CVS today, not to painful not as bad as I thought. He said that similar to what nuthinpink said. Next tuesday i get results of CVS test. If triple X is mosaic and is only in the placenta, and CVS comes back OK I am good. If the triple X is in the fetus I am not good. I know in some rare cases triple X does not effect the baby but in most it does. It was very hard, seeing the baby girl that I wanted, the heartbeat and knowing I got my girl and it isn't how I planned. I have spoke to a parent who kid have triple X and it resembles autism. No speaking to age 4, noticeable differences and a harder life. I am going to find the Fish results tomorrow but they urged me to wait to CVS tests and said that CVS tests will be the definite answer. If CVS came up not in the placenta, then I could be hopeful but for now it is very hard to feel that way and I just am very sad and upset that I may lose this baby girl.

If its anything, at least you do know you could sway again because you can have a girl. When I went though IVF even though it was a bad experience the best thing that came out was I knew my dh could actually make girls.

momof3boys, congratulations! That's massive news! Enjoy your double bump :)

Leebug, how insensitive of your husband to say that to you, regardless of how he feels you're obviously grieving and that's so thoughtless what he said it makes my heart break for you. Maybe tell him how what he said makes you feel about this lost baby, regardless of having another one in the future or not, he's supposed to be supportive as you didn't make that baby alone. My heart breaks for you. Hope he can see how he behaved and apologise.

GT77, what can I say? Our little ones turn our lives upside down even when they're hardly there at all. I really hope there is a chance that you can go on with your pregnancy as I know how hard it would be for you to let it go when you finally got your little girl. So unfair. I'm here if you need to talk.

Had my 2nd hcg and numbers are not doubling as they should. Doc is not worried yet but she wants another test next week. No spotting though, did another pee strip last night and is still very dark so I don't think my levels are dropping, just rising very slowly, but it does make me worry as I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in the past and the first sign of it was a late BFP (unlike this one, which was at 9dpo) and slow rising hcg. So, numbers not doubling properly do make me worry. But I won't complain too much as I know there are more serious problems going around our little group at the moment. Wish you girls all a good outcome.

Leebug you are so kind and so sweet. I am also sooo sorry for your loss! I understand completely how you feel and maybe once your DH job situation turns around things will change. Is there any hope in job turning around? Honestly, no one knows what it feels like to lose a baby or to find out something may be wrong with the health of your child and how devastating that feels like. It is so amazing how our bodies create these little babies inside of us and grow in our bodies. I have obsessed since July, planning on the diet, swaying and I finally got my girl. I should be the happiest person in the whole wide world. I had all these plans on how i would tell my mom and my husband and my twin sister and it all got ruined by the phone call. I know, in my heart that the decision is already determined. Maybe, the triple X is just in the placenta and not in the fetus. If that is the case the baby would be ok. What is the chance that that would happen? I would love to know, and I just don't know. What is the chance i have it and i never know. I would love that. You know, when your faced with a horrific situation you really do say, let it be me not my baby. I pray that it's me and not my baby. The preliminary test today will probably confirm that i have triple X. The question is, next tuesday where is it going to be? Placenta or fetus. Its called confined placenta mocaism, it does happen but not all the time. I was now thinking can clomid be the cause of this? Can the shot i did? The doctors say no its a freak thing. I just wanted a girl so badly and now i have one inside of me and I have to wait and see if she is healthy or not. This news is devastating, i can't sleep and it has destroyed me. I am so thankful to have my son, that tells me he loves me and gives me hugs and kisses. I am grateful for him and he will help me get thru this tuff time.

But they do come around, how not to love their own little bean? Impossible!

And stop beating yourself up, it is NOTHING you've done. So many pregnancies end in miscarriage for no good reason, it just is, and it sucks. Sorry for your loss and I am keeping everything crossed for you that next one will be a super, extra sticky one. :hug2:

FISH looks for 2 XX. It should be 100% accurate for gender.

MaterniT21 tested your blood for DNA cells from the baby. I would feel confident with the FISH analysis.

Triple X testing is NEW for Sequenom. I'd say there's way more room for error when trying to pull fetal DNA cells from your blood than the sample taken from the placenta! I think you're good.

This is from Materni21T site- thought it was interesting. what if I have it and just never knew! I have an identical twin sister who is very smart and I am not putting myself down because I have lived a very good life, but she was always very smart and I was not. We were opposites in that way. I think I have it, and maybe they discovered it. Who knows!!

"Sex chromosome abnormalities may be recognized at birth, as part of the spectrum of less severe chromosome abnormalities. They can also be found in adults, many being incidentally discovered in the course of evaluating patients for infertility or endocrine problems. Identifying these conditions through the MaterniT21 PLUS test will allow the health care provider and patient to discuss the medical issues associated with these conditions as well as to develop both short- and long-term care plans," said Allan Bombard, MD, Sequenom's Chief Medical Officer.

Momof3boys- I just noticed from your signature
That you are having twins. Do you mind if I ask
You at what dpo you got your bfp? Also any
Unusual symptoms that tipped you off for
Twins? I was warned that I was at increased risk
For twins from my doc because of my age and
Number of pregnancies.

Actually the only thing that I had different was I was sick to my stomach. Never even had a bit if morning sickness with my first 3. We joked about it being twins because I was eating a ton and my stomach was so bloated. Didn't see it coming but I am so grateful for them. A nervous wreak hoping that all goes well. Have another scan on December 23rd :) Sometimes reading about what could happen is a bad idea!

Isabella sorry I didn't answer the question you asked about DPO. I took a test and got a very faint positive at 9 dpo but a definite positive at 10 dpo and when I tested at 11 dpo the test line came up before the actual control line. Guess that was a clue ;)

I will be 5 weeks on Tuesday and meeting with my doc on Dec5 to go over my bloodwork. I think he will probably schedule an early ultrasound for the following week!! Hopefully everything is ok with my baby girl! I need to wait for the final CVS test!! Tuesday, or WED latest. I have been reading a lot of stories where the FISH comes back fine- and then the CVS comes back Mosaic. I am not out of the woods yet. I am PRAYING, that the CVS comes back normal. If it does, then I will feel maybe some how the test materni21T is messed up!! But, I do not feel good at all just yet!! I am totally freaking out!

Check out this story- Oh and sorry to take up this thread with my miserable stories!
from babycenter
1) I had the CVS with the FISH results coming back normal and then final results that said 27% of cells show mosaicism for T18. I am terrified as my first and only pregnancy had genetic problems that resulted in a loss.
2)Our baby had mosaic triploidy. Bascially the first CVS results (2 days later) indicated healthy girl. However, the second results (2 weeks later) indicated some cells were 69, instead of the 'normal' 46. The condition is then described as mosaic.
3) the FISH results from my CVS were fine but the full diagnosis came back with mosaic T9 (rare on top of rare) I was also told that the mosaicism could be confined to the placenta so had to confirm with an amnio which revealed the bad news.

GRANTED THERE ARE MORE EXAMPLES, AND IT'S RARE BUT I CAN'T HELP THINKING WHY DID MATERNI21T COME UP WITH IT FOR ME? Tomorrow, I do not care where I go, either my OB will give me a test but I am demanding the test for maternal contamination and see if by any chance it can be me!! It is a little far fetch, but i got to know! I pray with everything that I have in my life, that my baby does not have this. Also, it also needs to come up in the amino also that I am negative. I can't take the amnio to dec 27, so I won't get those results to after Nyear's. Insane! My husband says we are taking it one step at a time, I need to pray that CVS comes back normal first. I know FISH is a good sign, but there is a chance that they did not pick up the full mosaic since the CVS actual test for more which is the "full karyotype" . I am so confused with what this even means, but after reading these stories I am just not certain yet! I am praying for my miracle!! And, u want to know the worst part. I found out I am having a girl!! I got the gender I have been wanting my whole entire life!! I can't even enjoy it! I can't enjoy the though of pink leggings, or bows, or the though of fun sketcher shoes or any of it. I can't even think of it!! or imagine what it would be like, or for my son to be an older brother to his baby sister. I can't enjoy that feeling, and it all has been taken away. I hope this materni21T is just wrong, wrong, wrong. I pray that the CVS test shows me the negative result and I am not another example of one of these stories above!! I was told I had less then 1% that fish test was going to come up with nothing, well it came up!! Please, let the CVS come up with nothing too!! Normal! I can't wait to talk to that genetic counselor who was so negative!! Isn't she supposed to be some what positive, but nO. The dr. kept on telling me I had 1 out of 10 chance the test would be wrong. He had confidence and she didn't and they work in the same office!! I hope I can enjoy all my dreams next week and I can put this behind me or until the amino. Pray pray pray!!

GT77, I understand completely that you can't relax and enjoy this moment until you are sure all is well. And please don't apologize for posting anything that will help you get through this or that you think we should see. The point of this is to be there for each other through the good and the bad and the uncertain. I can tell you from personal experience Google is not always your friend :) I know this is easier said than done but try to focus on the positive news you have gotten for now and see what happens. Until you know for sure I will pray for you, your baby, and your family that you all look back at this as a bump in the road and only end up with a healthy beautiful baby.

Thank you all for your support. I had so many vivid dreams last night. How much would my baby weigh when she was born and what would she look like. I honestly am not going to be able to handle if that test says anything else but negative. I was watching one of my soap opera's, I am a big fan lol and there was just a little girl and I started hysterical crying. All my dreams have come true and if these tests don't come back negative everything will be destroyed. When I begun my swaying process, I did not think for one second that something could ever be wrong with my child. i just thought i can do clomid, and I will do hcg shot and I will do whatever i can to get a girl!! I was even willing to do IVF too, until all the sudden my husband lost a big client and we decided it was best to pull out of it for now. My dreams have all come true and I really want to enjoy them. My sister has a daughter so I am very lucky! She has everything waiting for me, even furniture etc and all her stuff is really beautiful!! And, she dresses her daughter in crew cuts and i love they have such adorable stuff for girls!! All waiting for me of course! If it is meant to be my tests will come up negative for both cvs and aminio. My cvs did not hurt either. I covered my eyes and squeeze my mom's hand on the tuff parts. My husband watched the long needle go in. lol So, the amino i heard is very similar pain. I will deal! I just wish the amino wasn't sooo far away!! Dec, 27 if they even book me then! It stinks!! If the CVS is ok, then I still need to make sure the DNA from the baby is ok. I just very happy that tomorrow is Tuesday. I also got four psychic's predictions one said boy rest said girls and no one mention anything like this would go wrong. I just pray i know u can't totally believe what anyone says but i am just hoping that somewhere g-d is on my side and that this is just a huge mistake!!! I wish i never got the materni21t, if i only knew if something comes up that the doctors make u take two other tests to confirm it. I wish i didn't put myself through all this tension when I could of just took one test and been ok and knew this is the final answer. Instead it has been so hard but this very moment in time I am learning so much about triple X that I never knew would of even knew it existed. Whether I have it or not it has changed me as a person and I will 100% volunteer after this is all done, since I want to help out the ones in need and anyone who has any suffering with 47 chromosomes. And, nothing else is like Christmas time in NYC, it is a great time to do something special. :)

I just spoke to my dr and they dont think the results will be in Tuesday, more like wed, thur friday. Sucks!!
they are going to take a sample of my blood, Maternal contamination and compare it to blood from my placenta. they will also do a micro array analysis and they will also do a separate blood test to check all my chromosomes. And, she said it is unlikely that the test will come up positive, but she said there have been times where the FISH does not pick up the full 47 chromosome because of mocassim. And, she said since only half the chromosome is being tested that sometimes the fish may only pick up where it says normal-46 she described it being scanned one time almost so it picks up the first sign of 46, not the second sign that there may be 47. That they aren't testing the whole chromosome and if it is half and they are just testing the chromosome once, I can see how the FISH doesn't pick it up. I found out the lab they are using is labcorp. I can only hope that they don't perform the test just once, but maybe in their lab until they can give the final GO, that these are the results that they may test it twice. I have no idea how the fish test works but i am going to call them and materni21 today. Waiting is the hardest part!

Thank you all for your support!! And, letting me VENT!!

Honestly, I have no idea. I have my first appt with the nurse this Friday & I won't even get to see a dr. It won't be till next week that I FINALLY see a dr & hopefully get a scan. I'm thinking next week I'll be 15 weeks so I'm just going to pay 4 a private scan. Not so much 4 gender but to see if I'm having two babies or not!! Momof3- can I ask you how many dpo you tested positive on a urine test?
What kind of symptoms do you have?
For me symptoms started BEFORE I got a positive! I wrote everything down so that I would have it. 6dpo I woke up twice to pee cuz I had to go soooooo bad!! @ 4:30am if I didn't run to the BR I would've had accident in bed lol I went back to bed & I was hit with nausea out of left field!!! I was thinking WTF lol then same day @ evening I was nauseous again. 8dpo I tested positive on a dollar tree test lol again, I was thinking- this is so weird it can't be right. Line was faint but u could see it without having to squint lol then @ 10dpo I got another positive on a clear blue digi. Since then I think I've been hit with EVERY symptom from heartburn, indigestion, @ 6 weeks I looked like I was 16 weeks, bloated, exhaustion, sleepiness, tired, on & on lol my belly is big for 13 weeks & I still have nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, & exhaustion. & those dreams of twins that have come to me since I got my positive.

Dreaming, at about 6dpo my breast felt heavy and I was using the bathroom way more than ever! 7dpo I couldn't get enough to drink. All I wanted was water and I HATE water lol Same thing on 8dpo. I was 9dpo and my breasts hurt SO bad that I took a test and it was a faint positive. 10 dpo tested again and it was a DARK positive and I always test until I am out of tests so I tested again on a few more days in a row and the actual test line came up before the control line! That seemed kind of weird to me but knowing now I just had a LOT of Hcg in my system it makes sense. I tested with First Response early readers. I didn't test earlier than 9dpo only because I was not looking forward to seeing a negitive. When I talked to the my Dr she said when they did my blood work at my first appointment (4 weeks 2 days) that I had a high hcg level but didn't say anything about it possibly being twins. I was NEVER sick with my 3 boys so when everything started to make me sick to my stomach my husband and I started joking that there must be twins in there. Other than that I have had more pulling dull cramps this time then last 3. Dr said that's normal with twins early. Oh and I read somewhere that you will get bigger faster with Fraternal Twins than Identical because there are two separate sacks. I would try to get in as soon as I could to see what is going on in there. You will be watched more if you have twins or more so I would see how soon I could get a scan. Where are you located that it takes so long? I had first appointment at 4w2d, ultrasound at 6w and I have another on the 23 of December when I will be 10w3d. Just seems crazy to me that you still haven't seen anyone :( I would go insane waiting!!!!!!!

Thanks ladies for all your kind words, but this morning I had full blown bleeding with cramping and lots of clots. I called the nurse to let her know. The doctor called me back with my hcg results and they had dropped to 3.5. So he said it's definitely an early miscarriage. Hopefully, I will be joining a due date group someday soon. DH came home for lunch and he's upset too and being very sweet & supportive. He says we can try again! Wishing you ladies all happy & healthy pregnancies!!!!

Me 2!!!!!!! water water water!!! Lol I'm not even a water drinker! Since I got pregnat I drink it like it's the BEST thing in the world!!! I love sparkling water to & be4 I couldn't stand it lol I'm in the United States but, the DRs where I live won't see you till after 10weeks. I asked DH if we can do a private scan & he said of course!!! :) so tomorrow I'll go online & start looking to see who can see me @ 14weeks. Like i said in a past post I don't care about gender that much I just want to see how many are in there! Lol today my 3yr old sat on my lap facing me & counted 3 babies & pointed to where each one was. I couldn't help but just crack up laughing. DH said- OMG can u imagine??? I said NO WAY ill faint lol oh!! Be4 I 4 get {cuz I've been so forgetful lately} 8dpo when I tested positive I was cramping HORRIBLE :( I really though I was going to have another MC then again I had bad cramps @ 10dpo. Every now & then ill feel pulling or cramps but nothing mayor. Yesterday I "thought" I felt movement lol but could've been gas {who knows} lol. I will def keep you posted though!!! :)

Did you sway @ all 4 a girl?

Were your twins conceived naturally or on clomid?

Yes swayed for a girl and no to Clomid. They were natural. Well the vitex I took for 2 weeks may have had something to do with it. Funny thing is I swayed and for some reason now I don't care about the gender at all :) I also felt crampy and still do every now and then but I asked the DR and she said it is normal.
3 babies would be insane lol!!!
I also live in the states but in my state it seems everyone goes early and they do a LOT of scans.

The fatigue!!!!!
Is anyone else this tired? I've never felt so fatigued in my life, in any of my other pregnancies I always had some energy left, with this one I feel sleepy all day! It's really full on, like I just collapse on the couch because I can't continue whatever I'm doing. I'm also having mild nausea on and off, it comes in waves 3 or 4 times a day, no vomiting though, just that yucky felling. I told Dh I feel like I'm having a bad hangover all day. Anyone else feeling this exhausted?

Aidansmum, I'm feeling more tired too. Not as much as you at the moment but definitely an energy drain. Waves of mild nausea sometimes but eating a little helps then.
Hopefully our low energy (and for me being up several times at night to go to the bathroom) is only for the first trimester at most.

Yes! I was so much more tired this time. I agree I felt like I had more energy with my last pregnancy. I am feeling better since I am starting my second trimester. But was exhausted the first trimester. It was very hard. Hang in there it gets better!

Mine won't see me until 12 weeks either but I requested a scan referral at 8 weeks otherwise I'll go nuts. I need to see a beating little heart, it's not too much to ask. It annoys me when Doctor's make it so hard to get those things done. My last Obstetrician, which I won't be seeing again for many reasons, refused to give me a referral for a scan from 20 weeks, I wanted to have one 3 weeks before due date just to be reassured everything was ok and he just said ' no need, all is fine, why do you want a scan', I didn't say it but thought 'don't know why as you seem to have x-ray vision'. I was so angry! In the end everything wasn't as fine he thought and ds was sitting in a very awkward back to back position which made my labour excruciating, if I had been told I would have opted for a epidural. Doctors don't always know everything and I hate the ones that disregard our requests for reassurance.

Not that tired but the nausea is HORRIBLE! Been living on saltines & vinegar potato chips. After weeks of LE I couldn't wait to get my BFP & eat but now I can't eat anything. Picked up an over the counter remedy today really hoping it helps.

Have the dr. again fri. They did an ultrasound on last Tuesday & we could see the sac & what he thought was baby. To tiny to tell for sure. My guess I was only exactly 5 weeks so I wasn't surprised when we didn't see heartbeat. Friday will be a repeat ultrasound & I'm really hoping to see this little one & that beautiful heartbeat. Been spotting on & off for over a week nothing heavy & no cramping but I will be super thankful to see the heartbeat & no that all is progressing.

Wow i can't believe you guys have to wait so much later, 10 weeks and 12 is soo long NYC is so different!!

The sickness should get better by 12 weeks. I am very lucky because I never got sick with my son or this one. I guess some people get sick and other's don't. I can't imagine what that must feel like.

I keep on breaking out in pimples, and it def is not pretty! I have one large one on my forehead. I think high hcg level is a sign, I had that at 10dpo and my numbers were 3x what they should of been & I broke out only with this pregnancy my son my skin was perfect. LOL It's funny because either you are motivated and you are going to do whatever it takes or you just do not believe and you just won't go there. It's just really funny what people reactions are to this diet. I tried to convince her it's been debunked but why waste my breath? Other than that my friends are fine with it. I mentioned it sometimes in my ds playgroup and some mums thought it was awesome and wanted directions and some less friendly ones rolled their eyes, but I didn't really go into lots of details, they can do their own homework if they're interested :)

Just back from my ultrasound & we were able to see one beautiful tiny little baby & heartbeat! Feeling soooooo much better! Dr. thinks my spotting is just the placenta implanting & sees nothing to be concerned about.

By ultrasound my EDD is adjusted to 7/27 which still fits perfectly with our 1 attempt. Nausea has been helped a very little bit by an otc I picked up at our local health food store. Still there but I have been able to keep food down again so I'm happy with that.

Now begins the long wait to find out gender. I have told 2 friends a little about what I have done. One is hoping to TTC a girl down the road if she wants more info I will send her here than. Still feel really good with my sway which I have to add but I'm working on convincing myself this is a boy just in case. Even going to start working on boys names so I won't be to shocked if they say boy.

Anyone having any crazy cravings? Mine are Cole slaw and non stop clementines/cuties oranges! I can NOT stop eating them! They are only 80 calories for 2 and are packed full of good things so I don't feel to bad when I scarf them down like cookie monster would eat cookies :)

Ah I am so sorry you're feeling so bad :( I was for awhile but have found eating small amounts during the day seemed to help me. However I am so very nauseous in the middle of the night that I can't sleep at all. Can't wait to hear how the Dr goes tomorrow. ...maybe you're having twins :)

80% sounds good enough to me...maybe get a few pink outfits only until you know for sure. I'm sure hubby will understand.

As far as cravings go yours are very healthy. I've been drinking lemon juice with salt in it, just pure squeezed lemon and salt, lots of tomatoes with salt, orange with salt and anything under the sun with salt. Not good for my pressure I suppose but I hope it will subside soon. Also, cooked tuna sushi with tons of soy sauce, yum!

Maybe just get headband with a bow. I'm not going to get any clothes until I am pregnant for longer like maybe 6 months. If I can last that long it's all very tempting!! I decided to take the amnio even though I know the cvs test is a similar test. in nyc all the girls only get materni21 and they rely on it so much so we want to double check. One of my friends ultrasound the baby neck measured bigger then it should and she won't get the amnio because the materni21 test said she is good! I had such a bad experience that I wouldn't trust anything that a blood screening says.

My due date was changed to may & I'm 15 weeks almost 16. I had no idea!! Now I'm really confused cuz I have no idea what so ever when I conceived. It said I conceived in August BUT! I don't know how since my last lmp was 8/28 till September.

Anyway, the tech was super great & she tried 3 times to get the baby's sex & couldn't :( baby was sitting Indian style the entire time & refused to move. I do have pictures ill post & was hoping you ladies can skull guess instead.

dreamingof2girls, how amazing to find out you're further along! Were you temping or using OPKs? Just wondering as this kind of thing always amazes me. With my last I thought I was 6 weeks along but on scan it actually showed 8weeks and a few days! I was like `WTH???'. I wasn't temping or using Opk though, just LMP guess. It looks a bit girlie by the pictures, good luck! :)

They seem to be doing well! I was actually able to pick up both heartbeats on our home doppler :) Sometimes it's really hard to find both because they are often times so close that their heartbeats overlap. Still so cool even when you only hear one because the other is hiding!

Well I can't get a gender scan done till after Xmas here, unless I go up to London! So I have now booked a scan near to me, I explained to the receptionist my situation with Xmas and the nub specialist, and she said she will book me in for a dating scan as they won't do gender till 18 weeks, and she said the sonographer will hopefully have a look for me, if I explained! But I guess there is not Guarentee she will! Fingers crossed I will get my answer on Xmas eve.

I will likely end up going for a gender scan around 16 weeks (I was thinking team green but DH really wants to know although he's "leaving the decision to me". I never had migraines and headaches. Sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly. Hopefully it won't last long once hcg levels start dropping after placenta is fully formed. I am now nearly 8 weeks and nausea hit me full on! It doesn't go away, it just gets better and worse, I'm totally put off food, just going for plain carbs and fruit, the thought of meat makes me gag. I am not vomiting but running to the toilet and retching myself with nothing to show for it, at least 3 times a day, and I'm very tired and run down. It's not all fun, is it?

It just reminds me I have some cleaning to do :)15692

No migraines this time but still can't kick the nausea. I will be 8 weeks on Sunday & would be so happy if it just went away. I know its a good sign of a healthy pregnancy but plainly it stinks! Looking back on my previous kids I see there is always one week that is the worst than it gets better, but that is usually week nine & I'm no where near that yet. The thought of having a worse week than this past one really saddens me! So much to do with the holidays coming just really don't want to feel this bad. Tried to do shopping the other day & wound up leaving very quickly with NOTHING! To top it off I think I'm getting a head cold now!

Snipsnsnails hope the migraines get better for you quickly & aidansmum hope your nausea passes soon!

I got ready to go do my groceries this morning but after running to the toilet 3 times I gave up. At least I have the convenience of online groceries (thank you Woolworths!). I am useless today. Hope you feel better soon.
