Beth, I remember your intro post. :) Are you temping vaginally? Often the temp shift seems more subtle with vaginal temping, and while it's not enough of a temp rise yet, you do have a shift in temps after CD19. I know meds can throw off temps, and maybe you Oed then? It seems like a possibility to me. Are the hearts BD? And your CM was sticky, watery, watery, EWCM, sticky? Just making sure I'm interpreting properly.

I am on CD21, not CD20 as I mistyped earlier, ugh. I think I might finally be starting to have O pain (hope I didn't just jinx it). I guess I will not DTD again as I can affford to keep trying a bit longer. Thanks for your input!

dreaming, I am hoping the cramping is implantation. Have you had that before?

Congrats green eyes! Exciting! And I don't think it's too early to post your sway :-)

Wow!!! Congratulations green eyes that's amazing!!! Praying for pink for you!! I can't wait for you to let us know what you"ll have ;)) either way a healthy baby is the most important and will be loved either way :))) well ladies my Af has buggered off yes!! I am starting to get nervous now as my 1st attempt is this month!! but not sure not If too start it next month because mar, April, may is best onwards.... I don't want to keep putting it off as I am finding the diet really hard to stick too, and I have lost 9 lbs in baby weight since jan, I was small anyway before my baby son was born 4 mths ago, I think I should just get on with it, I am going to try Rephresh but I am sure I did read somewhere that it can cause a spike in ph the 1st time you use it?? Anybody know of this which is why I might do a practice run this month with it, and attempt next month any advice woukd be very welcomed thanks in advance :)))

Hey everyone!

So I finally got my crosshairs today and I'm now 3dpo! We BD once (after a 7 day abstain) at +OPK which was on CD13 and then I O'd the next day on CD14. My last application of Represh was 24 hours before BD which Atomic says is good. I had a big glob of EWCM the day of +OPK and took a 4 hour allergy pill 8 hours before our attempt. So I hope that was enough! I did not jump and dump and did have an O, but I think that is fine especially since this is my first month off BCP and I was using vitex and daily Zyrtec and need all the help I can get since we I won't be TTC again till June if I get a BFN.

I got a BFP at 10dpo with DS2 so looks like I'll be testing in 7 days! Good luck ladies!

Oh and today I was super tired and took a nap on the couch from 10am to 1pm! Looked back on my chart from when I got pregnant with DS2 and exhaustion started at 4dpo with him!

TY!! :awe: I'm not temping vaginally but have always temped same spot under my tongue, same time, etc. My cycles are always pretty regular but February has been exhausting for me! I don't keep track of other symptoms much bc my autoimmune issues mess with those anyway. I'm more dry everywhere anyway bc of it so CM is hard to measure. Yes, hearts are BD :) I also take a LOT of meds so that doesn't help either, lol.

I can't ever tell o cramps! Do you track all your other symptoms? Did you already have 1 attempt at +opk? I hope u r having implantation cramps too!

Oh and I'm also 5'7. I was 135 at the beginning of January after gaining 7lbs of holiday weight. This is my highest non-pregnant weight. My normal weight since having DS2 is around 128lbs. Luckily after doing a Whole30 in January and then switching over to the LE diet, I was down to 127lbs on the day I ovulated. So I lost 8lbs which I feel good about.

When I got pregnant with DS1 11 years ago though I was 118lbs and then 120lbs when I got pregnant with DS2. I don't think I could ever get that low again though. And at that time I was just naturally super skinny and eating whatever I wanted. Now I have to stick to a super strict diet to stay at 128.

Hope you are still in with a chance dreamingtowin!
I am 5 6" and have lost about 10 pounds on le seem to be plateauing now.. Was about 134 with both boys when conceived and before starting this diet but usually about 125 average weight and I eat alot!!
Good in some ways as fitting everything in my wardrobe but really low energy...anyone else feel like this? Good luck to everyone testing xxx

I started spotting yesterday, so I took some tests and they've been negative. I think I may be moving into the TTC March group. :-(

Oh Arimethia :( how many DPO are you? Its so disheartening hey. I foolishly took a preg test this morning because a friend of mine said that her girl pregnancy showed up 6 days after conception and mine was negative so feeling really down in the dumps. I'm only 6 DPO so I probably shouldn't of tested and I'm surprised at how sad I feel about the result especially with all the sway things we did that I knew would really hinder pregnancy, I think deep down I had a glimmer of hope that it would still happen for us. I don't think I'll test for another week now because I can see that POAS could get very addictive but also seeing a BFN is pretty upsetting.. Don't know how much longer I can do LE, my BMI is 18 now and I'm just lacking energy and positivity to keep up with the kids and life :(

Hoping we see some more positive news from our Feb thread!

Well, I am 8 or 9 days dpo, and my breasts are feeling tender in the same way they always do this time of the month. My gut is that I am out. I think this is my last try too...

Arimethia
February 23rd, 2014, 07:36 PM
I'm 12 days from my +OPK so anywhere from 9 to 11DPO. My period is due Thursday.

I think I will temp next month just to get a pinpoint on ovulation. We'll stick with my sloppy Vegetarian LE, one attempt, LR for DH and breifs but maybe drop the frequent release? I'll have to consult with Atomic.

Flower girl, it prob is best to wait to test. I meant to wait until AF showed or not but I got impatient. I'm feelin ya on the positivity lack! Today I had to pep talk myself. I found it helpful to just picture the joy that another child would bring to our family, boy or girl and it did lift my spirits. What will their eyes look like? Their hair color? How will they laugh? This will happen for us ladies!

essnce629
February 23rd, 2014, 09:41 PM
Arimethia-- Do you normally get spotting before AF? If not, then I'd take it as a good sign. Might be implantation spotting.

I've also read that in 10% of women the embyro doesn't even implant till AF is due so you wouldn't get a BFP before then.

I wouldn't give up hope just yet. Crossing my fingers for you!

Arimethia
February 23rd, 2014, 11:34 PM
I do normally spot for a few days before my period, I'm optimistic but not getting my hopes up. I am getting a second wind of motivation for next cycle, BFN this month means we get to try again next month and one more month to drink wine and cocktails, right?

Happy birthday dreaming!

And good luck to everyone testing, hope you get your BFPs. Unfortunately I cant join in the banter about how many dpo as I dont think I have ovulated but I dont know :( Kind of wish i had temped now but really didnt want to have DH moaning about me waking him up early, he already gets annoyed about my time in the gym.

Struggling to decide what to do now because I came off BCP at the beginning of Jan and stupidly thought that if we didnt catch the Jan or Feb egg, I might hold off in March/April as I dont want to christmas day/new years eve baby, its not nice to have your birthday then. But I also dont want to lose any more weight....oh something to think about whilst in the gym every morning I guess.

Must be more patient. And I do approach every weekend like its my last opportunity to drink so treat myself to champagne, nice cocktails etc :)

Huge congrats Lauraly! How exciting!!!!

Hehe glad Im not alone Dreamingofwin - why do we do it to ourselves?! Lol! I'm
holding off for another 6 days before I test again.. That's if AF doesn't show up beforehand of course.

My temperatures are probably not totally accurate because I do get up super early in the mornings some days and not others but does anyone know how raised the temp would remain if you were preg?

Looking forward to hearing of more BFP's this week!

I haven't been on in awhile, so hi again!

I am 7 DPO today. I had a sharp pain near my left ovary the night of 5 DPO with some cramping. I had very low cramps/heavy uterus feeling all day today at 7 DPO and a little nausea. I am going to test at 10 DPO (so a few days) and see what happens! I never cramp at this point during my cycle but I did O a couple days earlier than normal so we shall see. I have no idea what symptoms I should have because my first was unplanned...

Flowergirl
February 24th, 2014, 05:07 PM
Stephk, I have moments of thinking the same about a Christmas/New Years bub. DS#1 is a January baby and it's such a busy time of year us but being on clomid and underweight already I don't think I can afford to hold off TTC for two months.. A BFP this month would be ideal!! :)

Flowergirl
February 24th, 2014, 05:09 PM

Flower girl - yes I agree if on medication and not much weight to lose you don't want to wait 2 months. At the moment I'm thinking of just leaving it to chance. Atomic suggested a break from OPK which is a good idea, so let's see how long a more relaxed mindset will last. Not ideal to get PG in march/April but if that's what is meant to be then who are we to argue.

Stephk and Kitkat I still have not ovulated either :( This is my 3rd month on le and I still can't believe I stopped o! Trying to add more fat now without going overboard, lol. How long did y'all delay? A few days? Week? My temp went up slightly today but nothing significant :-/

Congrats Lauraly!!! I'd take another test tomorrow and the next day to see the lines getting darker. That always puts my mind at ease. Sending you lots of sticky vibes!!!

I'm at 5dpo so still have 5 more days till I test. With both pregnancies one of my first symptoms was hot flashes and a high (99+) daytime temp starting at 6dpo, so I'll be on the lookout for that again!

girliedreamz
February 24th, 2014, 06:23 PM
Huge congrats, Lauraly!!! So thrilled for you! Thinking sticky pink thoughts.

I'm at maybe 8dpo. I don't temp (I have thyroid issues so my temps are all over the place), so I'm just going off +opk plus 48 hours as my best guess at O. I'll probabaly start testing in the next couple of days. I'm holding off as long as I can, but the closer it gets the harder it is. :)

These are the daily limits for the LE diet.

Calories: 1500-1800
Protein: 40-50g
Fat: 20-30% of your daily calories should come from fat (~25-60g).

And I'm in the US. CA actually!

girliedreamz
February 24th, 2014, 08:14 PM
I'm in CA, too! Nor Cal, though.

I'm staying on the low end of the LE for calories, just because I'm short and have some weight I can easily lose. I have no prob going vegetarian (I was actually a vegetarian for 20 years, though not lately) so protein isn't too hard for me to avoid, but I do find I almost always go on the high side for fat. :(

Arimethia
February 24th, 2014, 08:48 PM
I am Northern California as well! I'm not really watching limits, just eating vegetarian and staying under on calories, making sure over 50% of my calories come from carbs.

Took a test this afternoon, also negative. Boo. :-/

The way I am doing the LE diet is:
50-60g protein (too hard for me to be under)
30% calories from fat where possible
Maximum calories taking these into account so I am usually 1800-2000

I eat vegetarian Monday to Thursday. Friday to Sunday I will relax and usually go over the limits above but I do my best. This is still less than before and I have been doing this for 3 months now. My diet is very healthy, I eat massive portions of salads, veggies etc. The hardest thing is not snacking and holding off as long as possible before eating breakfast.

Beth - atomic wrote a more relaxed version of the diet which might be helpful to you, it included 4 eggs a week and 2 servings of salmon a week. It might help you although I'm not sure where it is posted I'll have a look later for you.

I just got my sway plan so excited!! I read the diet info in there and immediately messaged atomic cause I feel I am eating way more than
'recommended'...!!
I am doing about 1400-1,500 calories, 40-50g protein and 40g fat eating two pretty solid meals a day just no snacking and skipping breakfast which are massive changes for me I hope its enough! XXX

So true Stephk, what will be will be and I'm sure we'll make it work no matter what. To be honest she could be born bang smack on Christmas Day and I wouldn't mind if I get my baby girl! (And if it's DS #3 I'll be sweet too because he'll steal my heart the moment I lay eyes on him). That's not a bad idea with skipping the opk's and going with the flow - I'd do that for sure if I wasn't on clomid. I think we'll continue to bd once every four days (so one attempt in the fertile window) but I'll probably drop repHresh and Zyrtec next month? I'll have so see what Atomic recommends.

Still - have 5 days til I test so praying I don't need to think about next cycle after all!

Saddest feeling hey dreaming :( I'm not testing again until 13 DPO, I see my doctor that day to discuss my chart to see if the dose of clomid I took did work to bring on ovulation so she'll want to test to see if I fell preg, thinking I need to do a test at home first to prepare myself either way.

Bethwade, I went from two 28 day cycles to a 38 day cycle to a 45 day cycle! I stopped ov altogether with LE weight loss and vitex/SP. Hopefully you can get ov back on track. Atomic suggested I add in one full fat yoghurt a day to help.

Thanks. It's bumming me out. Kind of wondering if the spotting is a sign of short LP. I may see my doctor next month just to make sure everything is normal. I'm only 30 but I've never had this much trouble getting pregnant before.

Sounds positive to me! And even if it was super faint right away, a line is a line! The BFP I got with DS2 at 10dpo was soooo faint, but it was definitely there. I'd test again in a few hours after holding your pee and not drinking!

It could be, but I know with all three of my boys the test was positive early. I'm about 11dpo today. (give or take... I don't temp, so going by +opk plus 2 days as most likely o day) I'll test again this weekend, but I usually see AF around the 1st of every month. (Or 2nd or 3rd this month, since Feb is short)

Still not sure if I need to join March, I'm going to test again in 3 days when I'm approx 13 DPO (was a silly super early tester so now I'm using every ounce of willpower and holding off!).

I had a super high temp spike today so I'm staying hopeful! When I first took it I thought it said 97.8, which would be a normal after-O temp for me, but when I looked at it again it was 98.7! I've only had a temp that high about 3 times out of 49 cycles I have charted, so fingers crossed. I had a triphasic chart when I was pregnant with DS2, so I've been looking for that again.

Good luck to all those who have moved on to March.

Has this happened to anyone? I'm 12dpo and tested this morning with a $store test, had what I thought was negative or too faint to be real so I walked away. Came back 15 mins later and saw two very clear pink lines. The wait is making me anxious, has this happened to any of you?

Good luck!! Hope we all see a BFP for you soon!!

Well I am wondering if I Ovulated at some point. The last time I saw ewcm was on Sunday when I had AF type cramps and a little brown/spotting type ewcm. Also had very little sleep Saturday (was out drinking) and found everything hilarious on Sunday! Monday onwards I felt so crap!!! And no ewcm so fingers crossed my body O'd and I missed it with the test. Haven't tested for a few days on atomics advice and shamefully haven't BD since last thur. Was supposed to on Monday but I felt horrendous, went to bed early, funnily enough DH wasn't enticed to join me! He was working late every other day this week and out clubbing tonight so no opportunity since then (not that I'm overly bothered other than to conceive - which must be a good sign)

Probably kidding myself but even AF showing up would be welcome to know things are functioning :)

Kitkat - no I'm not doing any supps. My last BCP was on 10th jan. I was drinking pep tea for a while before that but stopped it once I was off the pill because it had made things a bit funky whilst in the pill. All I am doing is diet and exercise and the plan was to BD every 4 days.

Well I tested this morning and negative of course but I had quite a bit of champagne with my sushi last night! And I'm going to lunch with all you can drink prosecco today so just wanted to drink with a clear conscience. After all I have no idea where I am in my cycle and no point putting life on hold "just in case"

You might be able to get clomid kitkat? My cycles got increasingly longer (after vitex and LE) and ovulation wasn't evident so my Doctor prescribed me. Not sure what my cycle length will be like (this is my first round) but I definitely experienced ovulation like I never have before and that was around day 16.

Mamer, huge congrats! :)

Beth, so sorry about dropping temps, but I do think you Oed on CD19 like I suspected earlier. It's a temp shift even if it's not huge.

I am now in the TWW after finally Oing on Monday. I'm at that frustrating 5DPO stage where I can't test yet but could well be pg! I think you should be able to see my chart here: 4a5f89 Fertility Charts (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/m/home.php/4a5f89)

I was hoping to O earlier so that if I don't conceive this month I will O mid-March next cycle, as I prefer not to have a Xmas/Capricorn baby. Also I will be taking a break from TTC until June or more likely July as I don't think Id do well with a Jan/Feb/early March baby. But I also don't want a Summer baby! Basically I'm aiming for a DD in Sep-early Dec or Mar-April and no other times. Crazy, right?

Flowergirl, sounds like you are just a few days ahead of me (I will test Tuesday). Exciting!

I started Vitex about 10 days ago and am excited to see if it helps me O earlier. Or maybe I can try to get some Clomid for next month.

I did get different symptoms. I never got a migraine with my girls. It was one huge reason I loved being pregnant. I had frequent migraines with my boys. I never had a lot of ms with any of the kids. This time I had it since before my bfp. It's not bad yet though so hopefully it stays this way!

Still BFN for me at 11dpo and my temp dropped pretty sharply today. AF is not due till Wed though so I still won't give up hope till she shows. The only tests I have are the cheap Wondfo ones from Amazon and all the negative reviews are from women who said they never got any kind of BFP with them even when they were getting blaring positives on other brands. So I'm getting new tests tomorrow!

Flowergirl
March 3rd, 2014, 04:31 AM
Oh wow! Congrats teachermom & cherubluv! How wonderful!!! Sooo happy for all these Feb mummy's getting their BFP's!

Greeneyes, I'm getting inklings of you having twinnes this time?! You got your bfp pretty darn early and the symptoms coming early too - could be a sign! ;)

So, it turns out that I'm super duper clueless and have totally misread my cycle and symptoms. I saw my doctor today to discuss the dose of clomid I took and whether it worked to bring on ov. As it turns out I probably ovulated day 23 (not 16 like I thought) so thankfully we had one attempt day 21 otherwise I would have missed this cycle all together! So, that means I'm only about 6 dpo and I should probably start temping again to see if I'm in with a chance. Feel so relieved that I have a teeny chance of this still being our month but man it's confusing with long cycles, unpredictable sleep patterns for temping and hormone medication - makes it really difficult to know where you're at!

Tentative Bfp for me too, nice line on a frer at 11dpo, had a shadow on the normal first response yesterday and an asda own brand one too. IC showed more of a line today too. One attempt cycle immediately after a blighted ovum miscarriage xx

So I took a Clear Blue digital today at 12dpo and it read "Not Pregnant!" So I think I'm out. AF is due Wed and I won't be taking any more tests unless I make it to Thurs with no AF. Good luck to those who are still waiting to test!

We won't be TTC again till June since I'm in no hurry and would rather not have a Thanksgiving/Christmas/January baby. I'll be going back on the mini pill as soon as AF arrives.

My previous ectopic resolved itself naturally (I miscarried with no problems) so unless I miss AF I'm not too worried...though, if I am repeatedly implanting there, I guess I should be worried. I spend most of my time lying down due to disability, maybe that makes me more prone to ectopics? The lack of gravity's help? :(

essnce629
March 5th, 2014, 02:09 PM
Am I the only one still on here waiting for AF or something??? I'm 14dpo and AF is due today, but my temp this morning was the same as yesterday's, so still high. Took another Wondfo test and BFN, but I've come to the conclusion that those tests can't be relied on based on all the horrible reviews stating they never gave a positive. If AF is still a no show tomorrow then I'll take another CB digital. I feel like AF is on her way since I have cramps and back pain, but those are pregnancy symptoms as well! Just wished I knew what was going on. I had sharp ovulation like pains on my right side on 12dpo so my only other thought is that if I am pregnant I just implanted super late which is why it wouldn't show up as BFP till today or later. But then I read a study that said there's an 80% chance of miscarriage if implantation takes place after 11dpo so that's not good either!!!!

AF is due for me in 2 days but may well come tomorrow as I have a short LP that varies quite a bit. I'm hoping AF comes late even if I'm not pg (and it's not seeming likely at this point :() since any extension to my LP would be great!

essnce, I wonder if maybe you Oed 1 or 2 days later than FF thinks?

girliedreamz, clomid is well known for lengthening the LP, often to 16 days, even 18 sometimes! If you're sensitive to drugs, I do think even a little clomid could be having such an effect.

essnce629
March 5th, 2014, 06:08 PM
essnce, I wonder if maybe you Oed 1 or 2 days later than FF thinks?

I guess anything is possible, but I ended up discarding the 2 temps that were abnormally high pre-O since they were taken 3 hours after my normal time and I discarded the one abnormally low temp taken post-O since I had to get up super early that morning and took it before my normal time as well. With those temps out of the way it looks like my chart is correct. I had +OPKs 3 days in a row, BUT my one darker than the control +OPK was in the afternoon of day 13 and that's the same day I had the eggwhite CM so I'm thinking it makes sense that I O'd the next day on day 14 and not days after that.

I guess I'll just have to wait to see what tomorrow brings. Can vitex lengthen the LP too? Average is 13 days for me (I have 49 charts to look at!) but I have had a few 14 day and at least one 15 day LP.

girliedreamz
March 5th, 2014, 10:00 PM
I have no idea about vitex lengthening cycles, but maybe it could? I did take vitex for about three cycles prior to TTC, and I didn’t find it changed much for me. But every body is different! I plan to do vitex next cycle, since clomid and I really didn’t get along. (Especially if it’s messing with my +opk... I’ll never know when to dtd!)

Oh, and on a total side note...I just saw in your sig about your home water births. I’ve had all three of my boys at home, with the last being a water birth! It’s a total experience, right?

essnce629

So AF finally arrived for me today.

In the end, however, I actually ended up with a perfect 28 day cycle-- O'ing on CD14 and having a 14 day luteal phase so I guess the vitex didn't really screw me up after all! My normal LP phase is 13 days so I was just off a day.

Good luck to everyone heading over to the March group! I was planning to hold of TTC till June, but just realized that we'd be in Greece for my TWW and it will probably be really hard to stick to the LE diet during that time so I'm thinking of trying again in May. We'll see.
