Hi for all of you. I’m new to the forum and want to share my story. Unfortunately, we with husband were face to face with infertility. It was awful but we had no time to cry because I’m 36 already and my husband is 39, that’s why we started to act immediately when our doctor made a diagnosis – infertility. We started to search everywhere, we read all information concerning this theme, read books, consulted, forums and articles in the Internet. We spent a lot of time. We live in Italy and some methods of reproductive medicine are forbidden here (methods without which we couldn’t become parents) and we faced one more problem - to find place where it is allowed. I found an article where I’ve read that one doctor in Italy a few years ago cooperated with one European clinic which provide services of egg donation and surrogacy motherhood. I don’t remember exactly what was written there further, I was just surprised that such things exist in our country. I was interested in this because it was our chance. The article was published long time ago but we had a great hope that we’ll find such doctor at our time. Of course, we didn’t completely believe in it because there are a lot of scammers at our time so, we needed to find some real confirmations and evidences. And again we spent a lot of time and strength but finally we found such doctor. From some reasons (because it is forbidden in Italy) I wouldn’t tell names, it doesn’t matter. So, we started our cooperation. For our surprise we found out that we are not alone in this situation, there were other infertility couples which also needed egg donors or surrogate mothers. During our first trip to the European clinic we got acquainted with doctors, I was examined, also we decided all legal points. Doctors decided the medical course and pointed the next appointment. When we came back my doctor controlled the process of stimulation, consulted us concerning all medicines and programs itself. When we go to clinic the second time doctor again examined me and made me embryo implantation, (the donor’s egg was inseminated by my husband’s sperm) I was implanted 3 embryos for the 5th day when my endometrium was 9 mm, in a few days after ultrasound examination doctor said that from 3 embryos 1 “took root”)))). Finally, everything was ok, all couples (there were 8 couples including us) had positive result. And for today’s day we have great, healthy baby.
I share this story because I know how much time it takes to find some useful information and right people. Maybe my post will help someone.

I’m very glad that there are stories with happy end. You and your husband went through the long and difficult way to achieve your aim and make your dreams come true. I wish everybody has so much courage, strength and persistence as you.
I wanted to ask about your diagnosis: what did your doctor told you? Can’t you use your own eggs without using of donated ones? There is a huge probability that your baby will not look like you and your hubby, but will resemble your donor!

I was diagnosed with POF. I don’t worry for the fact that baby will not be similar to me because the donor was matched to me according to my phenotype (with the same eyes and hair color as I have, the same face shape etc.) and my husband’s sperm was used for insemination, so the baby will have connection with father on the genetic level.

I am a huge fan of donor eggs and I do not think you should worry one bit about that. I can delete that post if you would like, I think that was not a very nice thing to say.

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm glad that you took right decision and now you are parents. I know that today with all progress of reproductive medicine it is easier to find some way out. As far as I Know egg donation process isn't allowed in all countries and it is a pity( Where did you do this procedure?
Felicidad
February 26th, 2014, 10:37 AM
Agree that it is not fair to those woman who can't conceive naturally and are forced to use reproductive methods to complete the family. Unfortunately I also live in country where it is forbidden procedure, so our doctor (as I mentioned above) gathered a group of patients who needed this procedure and we together went to Ukraine for he procedure, there this is regulated by law.

I am glad that I can share my story with other woman. Yes, not in all countries it is allowed and unfortunately we with husband live in the country where it is forbidden. But our doctor gathered a group of infertile couples who need the procedure of egg donation and we all together went to Ukraine for the procedure. There it is regulated by law.

Are you kidding? It is looks like my story, you know. But we are from Germany. There it is also forbidden procedure, so our doc gathered group to travel to another country. There were 4 couples in the group. Before going there we went through stimulation, went to the clinic, made embryo transfer and went home. Is it the same clinic??? 0_o

Hi, Sara, I don't know weather it is the same one, you didn't mentioned the name of the clinic. We were in ********* clinic in Kiev. Probably, can say that I probably didn't like some services, such as our driver, we always wait for 15-20 minutes for him to go to the procedure, also meals...I don't know maybe it is because we just don't used to eat such things:think: So, where did you been? Here or in some other place?
SaraXY
March 5th, 2014, 10:36 AM
Yes, it is the same one, lol ))) I'm really surprised...didn't expect to see someone here telling this story) Agree with the fact abt meals and yes, think we just don't used to eat such food))) when I was in Spain I also didn't like their meals a lot, so think it is matter of habits. The main point for me is that I came back home with positive result and doesn't matter what meals, accommodations, drivers etc. Don't you think so?
Felicidad
March 11th, 2014, 09:50 AM
Of course I agree with you, I was ready eat nothing for a month but to have my cute and the most long - awaited baby, it doesn't matter what is going on around. I'm glad that there are very qualified specialists, doctors whose teacher was famous USA scientist in reproductive medicine Verlinskyi.
Felicidad
March 12th, 2014, 04:08 AM
Agree with you, main point for us was to become parents and it doesn't matter what is going around. Also we found out that one of the doctor's teacher was Verlinskyi, one of the most famous scientists in reproductive medicine. I'm glad that I was in hands of such qualified doctor.

Hi, Liza. Clinic called ********* and is situated in Kiev (Ukraine). And where are you from? what procedure do you want to do? You should found out weather it is ok to do through your country.
Liza09
March 28th, 2014, 04:35 AM
I'm from France. We have intention to do ivf with ED but in case of failure we will use services of surrogate mother. Does the clinic provide such services?
Felicidad
March 31st, 2014, 08:47 AM
Yes, as far as I know they provide services of surrogate motherhood. I don't know exactly about the program itself but can give you cantacts where you can see everything with your own eyes if you need. Let me know if you need it.

As for me UA is strange country for such procedure, but who knows....everything is moving forward and maybe it is ok now. But think I never ever dare to go there(
Felicidad
April 2nd, 2014, 03:28 AM
Somehow I can agree with you. Maybe conditions of leaving were not so great as we were said before. Really, I didn't used to live in such conditions (lol). But if to talk about medical side it was completely great. I am a mother now and no matter in what room we lived during 5 days. If to compare what we received after that...I can't even compare such things. What will you choose 5 days of living in not the best room and eat not the best meals but finally you will get pregnant and become mother after 8 years of trying and fails or to live in lux room to eat the best food but never ever take your baby in your arms? As for me this are uncomparable things.
SaraXY
April 8th, 2014, 04:17 AM
You know, the main point I went there was guarantee!!! I agree that it is not the best country, not as developed as USA for example but they give real guarantees. I know other clinics which "have 80% success rate" and you go there, you did 5-7-9 ivf attempts and nothing...no result, at all, zero and there are 7 women like you with the same zero result after several attempts. Some clinics just lie to attract ppl. It is pity.
Leticia
April 11th, 2014, 05:56 AM
I don't know, I'm not so stupid to believe in everything like this. Looks like some super place where all infertile woman become pregnant. It is funny you know? I agree that if to choose between child and conditions all of us will choose child and it doesn't matter where do u live and what do u eat. But I'm not sure if all this process is so easy.
SaraXY
April 14th, 2014, 05:26 AM
it is your right not to believe. it is ok to be suspicious in such things. I also didn't believe at first but just we with DH decided to risk...it was our chance and we used it. It depend on the desire...I had dreams abt the child, I was thinking abt it all the time and taking this "guarantee package" was like lucky ticket.
Leticia
April 15th, 2014, 03:18 AM
I don't know, maybe you really succeed and I'm happy for you! It is great if it is truth. Can you give me some more inf. links to the site or coordinates with whom I can talk?
ever hopeful
April 15th, 2014, 04:04 AM
Leticia, I just googled the clinic as I have a friend irw, who is desperate for a baby, having failed IVF three times in the UK and a guarantee package would be perfect for her. Here's a link and they do seem to offer a guaranteed package with donor eggs for just under 10,000 Euro which is very cheap. They also appear to offer an all inclusive surrogacy packages for 30,000 Euro, which could obviuosly help some people on this site.
********* - Center for Reproductive Medicine (http://*********.com)
Obviously, the one downside of the clinic is its location in the Ukraine, so quite worrying travelling there given everything going on at the moment.
Would be interested to hear how anyone gets on contacting them as will pass the details to my friend.

@Leticia yes, i can give you coordinates of the manager we worked with. Here is her fb page https://www.facebook.com/liticia.ganzales, phone:+308953726569, e-mil:*********ua@mail.ru, site: ********* - Center for Reproductive Medicine (http://*********.net)

Leticia
April 17th, 2014, 05:03 AM
Thank you Felicidad. I really mailed the manager and searched through their site ********* - Center for Reproductive Medicine, think clinic is not bad as for me but still I don't completely believe))) as for me I more believe for example clinics in Spain. I know IEGRA clinic, they proved egg donation services on the very high level.
lisvna
April 17th, 2014, 07:53 AM
There are more clinics in europe (czech republic for example) who offer donor eggs and even donor embryos. I don't know if they do genderselection on the embryo too if you like.....
Felicidad
April 18th, 2014, 03:14 AM
of course, there are a lot of clinics all over the Europe which provides egg donation and surrogacy services. All of them are different. Think the process of choosing the clinic is a personal choice bcz for each couple different things play important roles. If to talk about egg donation for us it was important that ********* clinic works only with fresh material and one donor is matched only with one recipient. All donors are young woman, so we had more chances to get pregnant.
@Leticia IEGRA clinic is also good one, I've heard abt it too. If you don't believe Ukrainian service you can for sure go to Spain)))

April 18th, 2014, 03:26 PM
I contacted the clinic but unfortunate they don't perform PGD so you can't test chromosomes for diseases or gender.....
Leticia
April 22nd, 2014, 03:10 AM
with what clinic did you contact?
Felicidad
April 23rd, 2014, 03:05 AM

April 24th, 2014, 03:21 AM
Ok, we with DH was thinking a lot abt all this clinics, programs and everything else..and we decided that it is time to act. I contacted with Iegra manager and made an appointment. booked tickets to Spain already. have an appointment on the 30th of April. Will see how it will go. Wish us luck!)))

April 24th, 2014, 07:51 AM
can you provide me with some inf abt the program of egg donation in spanish clinic?
Leticia
April 24th, 2014, 09:16 AM
The program costs 13900 euro includes 5 attempts in case when all 5 attempts will fail you will receive all your money back. Price includes drugs, tests, medical examination and donated eggs, of course.
ann5
April 25th, 2014, 04:35 AM
oh, sounds great!
but what for these 5 attempts?if this clinic is so good then 1 or maximum 2 attempts are enough!you can spare money.
Leticia
April 25th, 2014, 05:06 AM
think it doesn't depend on clinic, they just give more chances for less price if to compare with other clinics, also if they work with fresh material and this also grow your chances. It is just more attractive offer for me that I've seen. the fact of receiving money back is also a big plus for me.
ann5
April 25th, 2014, 08:35 AM
you are right!
at least in case of failure the money will be saved!and you will have the opportunityto continue your journey.
but doesn't it sound strange and suspicious?
SaraXY
April 25th, 2014, 08:48 AM
You know, if to take everything what is good like suspicious things u can loose your chance for positive result. In my story (posted at the beginning) there was no guarantee and only suspicious things lol))) but I decided to use each opportunity which I saw on my way and I didn't regret I used it bcz it helped me to complete my family.
ann5
April 25th, 2014, 09:37 AM
yes, sometimes we loose opportunities bcz we are afraid sth will go wrong.
i appreciate that you manage to cope with your fear and in the end your dreams came true.

Hi all! We came back after our first visit from IEGRA clinic :running: Everything was ok. We with hubby went through medical examination and got acquainted with doc who will pass us through our ivf program. So, i was prescribed with birth control pills to regulate my cycle, then i'll be able to be matched with my egg donor  We came back so positive, both of us are full of happiness and positive thoughts:hug2:

have you seen your donor?
Leticia
May 7th, 2014, 02:46 AM
Hey, thanx) no, I didn't. donation is anonymous but we had ability to see medical records of our donor, so it satisfied us. BTW the donor was matched according to phenotype. So, I can imagine how she looks like and know for sure she is totally healthy.
ann5
May 7th, 2014, 04:52 AM
it's great that you have documentary proof of her state of health.
matched according to the phenotype?it's she looks like you?

Yes, it means that she looks like me..the same hair/eyes colour, shape of face etc.

it means that you can even not say that this baby was "done"through IVF with eggs of other woman.

May 12th, 2014, 07:42 AM
Thank you, girls for congratulations. I've said already that everything was ok, we've got acquainted with our doc, went through medical examination. I liked the city a lot. we had some free time and had ability for a brief excursion around the city. concerning place of living, we booked a room in 3 stars hotel "Sunotel Aston". Nothing special but it was enough for us. We lived 2 days there, so didn't need something special)
ann5
May 12th, 2014, 09:15 AM
and how much was your hotel?
Leticia
May 12th, 2014, 09:28 AM
We paid 160 euro for 3 days and 2 nights per 2 persons. In average 50-55 euro/24h
ann5
May 13th, 2014, 02:49 AM
and what abt prices on food and drink.
did it cost much for you?
Leticia
May 13th, 2014, 04:32 AM
No, it is not so much. Prices are acceptable and of course, it depends on eating habits. We had no time to think about food there, so ate everything)))))
ann5
May 13th, 2014, 08:51 AM
it's good that you didn't have time to think abt anything accept your procedure.
what abt the second visit?do you have an appointment?
Felicidad
May 13th, 2014, 09:26 AM
Once again my congrats, Leticia! I'm so glad for you. Seems to me hotel is not so expensive if to take to consideration that you should stay there only 1-2 days. How long will you stay there during your second visit?

Leticia
May 13th, 2014, 09:48 AM
thank you for congratulations, ladies. But the most important things are still waiting for us) Our second visit will be in 4-5 weeks. Our doc. will tell us when it will be high time to go. Yes hotel was ok and no so expensive, we were satisfied. The second visit will be 5-10 days.
ann5
May 13th, 2014, 09:53 AM
great!that means that the procedure takes up to 5 weeks. and in case of success you will be pregnant and within 9 months you will become a happy mother!!:pregnant:
Leticia
May 14th, 2014, 02:25 AM
I hope very much for success but also I'm ready to the first fail. I know I have 8 attempts, I know I have guarantee but somewhere deep inside I prepared that first attempt will fail( I know that it is not good to think like this but can do nothing with it. But I'm sure that till the end of the program I'll be a mother) It is for sure.
ann5
May 14th, 2014, 03:27 AM
you know i read a lot of books abt psychology and all of them say that our thoughts have the tendention to change our life. and in what side - depends on our thoughts.
if we think that we will fail - we will, if we think that we will succeed-we will.
so don't think that your first attempt will fail and everything will be good.
Leticia
May 14th, 2014, 03:59 AM
Thanx, I will try to change my attitude to the situation. I know that there are no reasons to think that everything will be bad even vice versa. I always think that people need psychologist after the fail but as I see I also need before the procedure)
ann5
May 14th, 2014, 05:45 AM
maybe it's a great idea.
and remember that you shouldn't be worry bcz it can spoil everything and be the reason for failure.
Felicidad
May 14th, 2014, 07:06 AM
I don't know weather it is needed now to go to the specialist but if you feel you need it, surely you should go. I support ann and agree that our thoughts make our life. Be positive, hun!!!

Thank you all that you tell me all these, it helped me and now I'm trying to look at it from the other side. We took a few days off and went with hubby to the picnic)) It was great time. We went through difficult times and this picnic was the first great moment after all that dark times.

May 14th, 2014, 09:08 AM
it is good that you found time to divert yourself) it is right step. Also it is great that you have good hubby by your side, think he is also nervous a bit))) Future daddy:giggle:
Leticia
May 14th, 2014, 09:16 AM
 yes, future daddy. You know, I only now, after reading previous post, thought that he also can be nervous. All this time I thought about myself...uhhhhh, I'm egoist!!! Today will talk with my DH about his feelings!
ann5
May 14th, 2014, 09:49 AM
it can be even more difficult for him to go through all this.
he also wants to be a daddy and he wants to succeed as you want. he afraids to fail as you afraid but he also afraids for you.and this doubles his stress.
Leticia
May 15th, 2014, 02:26 AM
we talked yesterday. I prepared romantic dinner and asked him to tell about his feelings concerning the situation. He was glad I asked) Told me that didn't want to overwhelmed me with his emotions because I have more emotions, feelings and thoughts than he. I regret that I didn't do it earlier but I glad you helped me to see that I should do it. I supported him a lot yesterday and seems to me we are closer now:happycouple:
ann5

wish you to succeed and support each other no matter what happens.

Well done, Leticia! :bighug: it is so sweet that you with your DH are so close. I wanted to ask abt your program. When they make a transfer for the 3rd or for the 5th day?
Leticia
May 15th, 2014, 07:11 AM
:bighug: yes it is sweet) like during the honeymoon) transfer is for the 5th day.
ann5
May 15th, 2014, 08:33 AM
oh!as far as i know it is called blastocyst.
not many clinics do the transfer on the 5th day.
the majority does on the 3d.
it is said that the transfer is more successfull on the 5th day.
so the success rate should be high here.
Leticia
May 15th, 2014, 08:46 AM
:hug2: thanx for being with me here. Yes, i also hear that for the 5th day it is better than for the 3rd one. Everything shows that we have good chances :fx:
ann5
May 15th, 2014, 09:54 AM
:bighug:we are with you.
how many embryous are trasfered at a time?
Leticia
May 16th, 2014, 02:20 AM
3 embryos for one cycle. It is possible to have twins :DS::DD:
ann5
May 16th, 2014, 04:30 AM
and if all 3 will survive???how do you think is it possible?
Felicidad
May 16th, 2014, 05:16 AM
Of course, it can be like this. But as usual if 3 was transferred 2 or 1 settled down....sometimes 0  But often women have twins and it is great. But if there is a danger that according to the health conditions woman can't carry twins doctor should do removal.
ann5
May 16th, 2014, 09:13 AM
removal????
don't you think it's murder?

ok whoa let's just hold the phone right here.
Many clinics have moved away from implanting more than one embryo and never more than two to reduce risks of higher order multiples (remember, sometimes embryos can split with HT and end up as identical twins as well) and it's probably never a good idea to put back more than you want.
Selective reduction is not something to take lightly because it has serious risks to ALL the babies. It should only be done in case of serious need. A few women have had to do SR on here because they had no choice to save one of their babies instead of losing them both. They were very sad about having to do this and don't need to read negative things when they had no other options.
Let's all just take a step back and let this one go without fighting over it, ok???
Leticia
May 19th, 2014, 02:54 AM
Agree that reduction it is not an easy thing and should be done only in case of a big need. Our clinic can transfer not more than three but we decided to transfer two embryos. I don't mind to have two babies and together with it we double our chances to have at least one baby.
ann5
May 19th, 2014, 04:44 AM
sorry if i offended omeone here!
i agree that removal is done only in case of big need.and it done for saving the life of other embryo or the life of woman.

It is the sphere where sometimes we should take hard decisions. But before doing such important procedures woman should understand all risks for herself and determine particular actions in particular cases just for herself and just in case.
ann5
May 19th, 2014, 08:40 AM
yes it's hard decision but we should take it.
how are you, Leticia?
Leticia
May 19th, 2014, 08:51 AM
thanx ann, I'm mostly ok. Sometimes nervous and feel myself not the best way but I'm trying to keep myself calm and think about our future baby. Doc. said that it is not good to be nervous during the period of preparation for the procedure. hubby support me as he can and I'm thankful him for that)

it is always great to have devoted ppl by your side. It is hard to go through such things alone or with person who is indifferent to your feelings and dreams. We shroud appreciate all good people around us and excuse those whoa are not so good with us.

Hi Leticia, Felicidad and all the forum members!
What I want to say - it's that there are a lot of different and really good clinics in the world. When I was looking for one - I just got confused - so many of them and a lot of them have quite descent feedback. And I spent a lot of time dealing with that information, but eventually on one of the forums I found a post about non-profit surrogacy and ivf consulting organization called Happy family (About Us - Happy Family - Surrogacy and IVF consulting (http://surrogacyinfo.net)) and their managers helped me to find my way to my baby - and I really appreciate their work.
In this case I can tell you - both clinics have really excellent reviews and I believe it's just the matter of convenience and personal attitude to this or that country and way of service.

ann5

did your doc tell you what should be the thickness of endometrium and what you have?
Leticia
May 22nd, 2014, 04:29 AM
Yes, till the end of the preparation for the transfer my endometrium should be not less than 10mm, it is the best thickness for the embryo to stick.
ann5
May 22nd, 2014, 05:19 AM
and how do you feel?do you feel some changes in your organism?
Leticia
May 22nd, 2014, 05:43 AM

Leticia
May 22nd, 2014, 08:41 AM

ann5
May 23rd, 2014, 03:15 AM
do you know anything abt your donor's stimulation?
Leticia
May 23rd, 2014, 03:39 AM

ann5
May 23rd, 2014, 05:13 AM
will you be informed when the stimulation is finished before hand?
Leticia
May 23rd, 2014, 05:40 AM
Of course. All the process is controlled by managers and doctors. When the donor will be ready for egg collection and I'll have endometrium not less than 10 mm we'll go for 3-5 days to the transfer.
ann5
May 23rd, 2014, 08:13 AM

Leticia

Yes, you are right!) Now it is the new phase. Clinic gave us guarantee till the 12th week of pregnancy, so during this time I should also take meds ...
ann5
June 23rd, 2014, 04:42 AM
what kind of meds?
Leticia
June 23rd, 2014, 08:50 AM
for today's day I take vitamin E and folic acid, it is not actually meds) but doc said I'll take something else in some time.
ann5
June 24th, 2014, 03:16 AM
what do you need them for?
Leticia
June 24th, 2014, 04:50 AM
embryos still need support, so for them to grow and develop normally.
ann5
June 25th, 2014, 05:36 AM
i see.
do women usually take them or it is only for those who went through egg donation program?
Leticia
June 25th, 2014, 07:15 AM
Depends on the situation. the process of carrying doesn't differ when woman conceived naturally and when woman went through egg donation. Woman which conceived naturally also may need some hormonal support for foetus.
ann5
June 26th, 2014, 05:34 AM
so that is normal, right?
bcz my friends who have babies they only ate healthy food and took some vitamins.
Leticia
June 26th, 2014, 09:24 AM
It is normal for woman to eat healthy food and not only because of being pregnant but always not to have problems with health but unfortunately today we have rather fast rhythm of life so often forget about healthy life style.
But when woman is infertile and it is not so easy to get pregnant she should be more careful with her health and everything what is going on around. I want my baby to be healthy and happy, so follow all doctor's prescriptions. Tomorrow will go to the appointment, to check everything. Nothing special just visit in case)))
ann5
June 27th, 2014, 04:30 AM
wish everything be ok!
so do you know whom will you have?or it's too early?
and what abt gender?do you want a boy or a girl?
Leticia
July 1st, 2014, 02:29 AM
You know, I understand that it doesn't matter now whom I'll have boy or girl) When you wait for a child for so long gender is not the main point.
No, I don't know yet whom I'll have but soon I'll know.
ann5
July 1st, 2014, 07:51 AM
do you want to have twins?
Leticia
July 2nd, 2014, 02:30 AM
Yes, it will be double happiness)) I don't mind, i just will be happy to be a mother) Of course, I don't know how it will be from the medical side but if there will be such ability to have twins my doc will say if it is ok for my health and for health of babies)
ann5
July 2nd, 2014, 03:55 AM
when will you know this?
i know that when it's known that there would be twins and it can harm woman the reduction should be done as soon as possible.
Leticia
July 3rd, 2014, 03:18 AM
Yes, it is true. I don't know yet whom I have but if I'll be pregnant with twins I have ability to carry both of them.

People are different and someone is ready for surprises someone no, but it is a real gift to be parents and if you are given more than two at once and they are healthy children it is great I think. I don't say it will be easy, of course it is not but it is worth not to sleep enough and to grow YOUR children, your continuation of the family, for happy old age and future grandchildren))))

I consider it like good fertility clinic. I suffered from infertility and the most of all I wanted to be a mother, I wanted my husband to be called "father" and we used ivf procedure as a way out and it worked and we are really happy now)

Leticia

you pay for program, hun) some clinics for example offer similar programs which include for example 3 attempts and no refunding of sum, some programs include 2 attempts and medicines...there are variety of programs which differ from simple ivf cycle and it is important to understand that you pay not for a cycle but for whole program and all services which are included into this program.

Couple pay only for tickets, place of living, food...and tests which couple should do at home before the starting of the program, probably tests cost not so much especially when you do it at your place of living.

she was in awe of everything that was happening to her in the clinic. great service, qualified staff and Barcelona!!)) she became a mother and there was nothing to be unhappy about))
Yes, it is the biggest happiness in the world! But still, maybe the clinic has some disadvantages? I really like what they offer, but I must know what to be ready for before starting

@ Rina of course, manager will send you the list with tests you should do.

@Clea Each person accepts things and events differently, so it is hard to tell about some advantages and disadvantages...the program itself is really beneficial, as for me doctors are qualified and staff is helpful but again it depends on a person and on what you wait form doctor, staff and service in whole. I can say only as I see it and I see it as a good place to go)))))

That would be amazing if it's true. And it is not a human nature, it is our world's nature! The hidden spoon of tar is everywhere and it's better to define it before the joke is on you

It is absolutely natural to worrry in such case. Every mother wants to protect her children and to be sure that they are alright. But try not to worry a lot, it is not good for your health and your kids' health

I'm trying not to worry) seems to me I managed) Now i am still on the program till the 8th week of pregnancy. Wanted to ask whether it is enough time (8 weeks) for the fetus to be hormonally supported? Bcz I know clinics where guarantee till the 12th week is given. I wonder what is the difference?
ann5
August 4th, 2014, 08:35 AM
i heard that usually hormonal support shuld be 12 week until the embryo begins to produce hormons itself.
Leticia
August 5th, 2014, 02:54 AM
I know that it is ok, majority of clinics don't provide any guarantee at all, so i'm lucky to have what I have.

yes, there are such clinics and it is good option but the clinic which provide guarantee till the 12th week (we found one like this) is situated so far away and we decided to agree for 8 weeks guarantee program in IEGRA was more beneficial for us.

think it should be hormonal support? am i right?
Rina_Barrowman
August 12th, 2014, 01:31 AM
I also think so. But I also wanna go through the procedure, that's why I need define everything exactly: what meds should be taken and how long
Leticia
August 12th, 2014, 03:26 AM
Medicines for hormonal support should be prescribed according to the own hormonal level, so it is individual procedure. As for me I take progesterone for good embryo development (bcz if there is low level of progesterone it can cause miscarriage), folic acid and vitamin E. Will take all this 4 weeks more. As for you think there should be some personal prescription for you.

And what are you going to do after these 4 weeks? Will your pregnancy be controlled by specialists?
