Praying pink, congratulations!!!. I tested today 12dpo, BFN, feel very down right now. This is my 5th months ttc. I feel the back pain, and funny taste in month.... Have very high hope, but still BFN. I don't know if I can still keep going....

I am in your shoes too.I lost track of my dpo after my cbfm stayed on high for almost 25 days and no peak. Im so mad at my self for not temping because i thought that would ease my nerves but only made it worse. Per the cbfm i am cd 28. The wait sucks and definetly gets your hopes down and makes you not want to keep going. Good luck and I hope you get your bfp. We may be down this month if ugly af shows but we will keep going because there no better feeling than a bran new baby :)

So far I've stopped the peppermint tea and the cranberry juice, and keeping the folic acid also been doing the BD every 4days since af stopped.

Thank you again everyone. I'm still in shock. I have to be honest, im a bit scared to miscarry. Had spotting after bd (sorry tmi) but that's normal for this early on. Congrats praying for pink. It is heared that if u conceive a girl , you pg could be detected so early, if u carry a boy, due to low levels of hcg , pregnancy could not be detected so earlier. So keep on praying ladies.best of luck .

Prayingpink Thank you for your wishful thoughts :) If I don't get af is either because my cycle is out of wack or bfp but most likely because of the first one.

I also wanted to share my funny story. So I and the dh finally decided it was time to get a bigger vehicle so we decided yesterday to trade in my camry for a mini van. Amazed with all of the new technology that is kid friendly:) Anywho so we decided to post on facebook that we were excited to announce that we would soon have an addition to the family. Lol everyone started to congratulate us thinking we were pregnant. After we posted pics of my new soccermom minivan I said happy early april fools and everyone almost fell off their chairs lol lol The guys at the dealership could not stop laughing with us.

Sorry AF showed her ugly face. I had a positive last month too but af came shortly after. I read this could mean a chemical pregnancy. The pics of my positive are in the february 2ww if you would like to take a look at them. Good luck and I hope you get your bfp soon.

This months and months of BFN drives me nuts. (5 months now) Last night, I finally broke down in tears in front of my husband. I need to let out my disappointment and frustrations. I'm just turn 40, I felt maybe I'm getting too old to have another baby. I have 4 DD (10, 7, 4, and 2). I want to try for my last for a boy. For all my girls, I only did 1 attempt on the first +okp and they all take only 2-3 months. But this time, I took supplements, DTD every 2-3 days, preseeds, and 3 attempt on +opk, still no luck. My cycle are very regular, 28-29 days. What is going on? The day I tested bfn is the hardest day for me and usually take a few days before I can feel better. I feel my whole life now is thinking about ttc. The more the wanted, the harder it gets. I just don't know how to relax anymore.

After reading a ton, people do count these as miscarriages. They say that it is very common but wasn't heard of much in the past because there were not that many sensitive tests in the market before but now that there is, women are able to catch them. :( I also read that some women will take these really hard.

Ya well it gets very frustrating when you see a line and then it's nothing. Although I must say I really don't mind if I had another girl, I just want a healthy baby...just one more ;) doesn't matter what gender! Makes you appreciate what lovely children you already do have. Oh and I took another test today to see because of how late the pos came up with last chem and it was neg. also the tests that I saw a faint line on, I didn't see anything till they were pretty much dry...so away past the slotted time.

Hi guys, babyb5 so sorry you are still waiting for that BFP!! Hugs!! I feel for you I am coming up to my third attempt and its hard to stay positive. I too am a little vintage at 35 conceived both boys at 28 and 30 so worried about my fertility. What I am trying to do is to enjoy what I do have two beautiful boys take them to park, bounce on trampoline and try not to obsess over the whole ttc business easier said than done!! Hope we all get our BFP to those ttc in April!! Yogibooboo what an April fools!! Fingers crossed you will have some real news really soon x

Af come today as I expect it. My cycle is very regular 29 days. Ovulated on CD 16. From my pass cycle, I had my +opk on cd14 and cd15 and O on cd16. We DTD on CD13, CD 14, CD 15, but not CD 16 because Opk turn to negative during the day. My luteal phase always 13 days. For the future, should I bed CD 13 (night), CD15(night) and CD16 (morning) or CD14 (night), CD15(night) and cd16 (night)? What do think?

Marika, I'm sorry that it doesn't seem to be IB and rather AF :-( That is disappointing! I don't know anything about Vitex...what is it taken for?

babyb5 - I am unsure of exactly when to BD as well. I also O on cd 16. Last month we did cd 9, 11, 13, then 14am, 15pm, and 16pm. This time we tried less - just cd 14pm, 15am, and 16pm - to get a hopefully stronger batch right before O. If this hasn't worked, I'm not sure which route to go next. Personally, of your 2 choices, I'd think the first one, simply to get another 2 day hold and get some strong swimmers in there, but I'm curious to hear what others recommend as well!

Tomorrow is 12 DPO for me, and I'm worried it's going to be another BFN, but at the same time, I have just been "feeling" pregnant lately. I'm really trying my best not to read too much into anything, but it just feels right for some strange reason. Of course the continued BFNs seem to point in the other direction, but I suppose it's not over till it's over, right? Trying to stay positive!

It happened to me this month that I have cramps around 5-6 dpo, and it last the whole week till AF due. I try to hold off testing until I miss AF, but I could not wait and tested on 12dpo, bfn. Good luck to everyone who is waiting to test and have a bfp.

So no af for me yet but feel it coming soon. Don't know what dpo i am now but it really doesn't matter at this point. Dh is having rorator cuff repair surgery next week on thursday and will be out of baby making service for a few months. I this i have came to peace with my self now. I think what i really needed was an excuse for time off work and thank goodness for the state of california that i can care for him ;) get paid and be off work for a few weeks. Maybe ill be back on a diet soon. Kaiser is asking me to go in an do a urine rest after i called not so long ago and inquiring about my false positive lol debating if I should call and cancel it or wait should i get a positive at home. Anywho good luck to you all. No attempt for me next month, or following. Ill update before i say my goodbye :))

I'm feeling good. I decided to keep excersising this pregnancy and eat really well. I was enjoying losing weight before my bfp so I'm hopping to keep a healthy lifestyle (not le diet of course). But I'm enjoyingy workouts. I'm gunna keep jogging 3 days a week until I don't feel comfortable with it anymore and some strength 5 days a week :). It's been great. Other than that, in soooo tired. But have insomnia most nights. Gotta love the first trimester lol. Plus I'm more constapated this pregnancy which is so weird. I didn't have it with my other two pregnancies. How are you?

I'm guessing constipation is from all the fiber supps for pink swaying? I know I'm afraid of that happening. I've been on a ton of fiber supps, 3 cups of coffee every morning and lots of low carb veggies. I'll have to taper off slowly or it'll be really bad!

BFN for me at 7dpo. Doesn't mean much, but the cramping stopped, so I'm skeptical that this is my month :(

Lilith it's still early days, don't give up yet, are you using the same test brand you used for your previous pregnancies? I'm planning on using the same brand.
Somehow these 2weeks are the longest weeks ever for a lot of us here! :(
Are you having any more symptoms...my cramping also subsided today but I've been gassy(sorry tmi) since yesterday and I have the odd twinge in my nibbles.
I really hope this our month and anyone who is in the same boat as us...GL.:)

Hi ladies can I join?? I am in the 2ww too, first attempt after swaying for 3 months... I'm either 7, 8 or 9 DPO (not sure exactly when I O-ed)... took a dollar store hpt a couple days ago and it was bfn. Had 3 mild night sweats in the last week, very unusual for me (I normally get them night before AF starts and night before lh surge/ovulation). My breasts leaked a tiny bit yesterday and my breasts feel fuller but I tend to read into things a lot... hoping that BFN changes. :/

Alright, I got a real squinter this morning, and I'm not even sure that it's a BFP because the test was bent and took FOREVER to fully clear. It might even be an evap line :(

I'm really wondering because I had a totally vivid dream about having my baby girl, nursing her and taking her out right after the birth. Aaugh, I really hope it's a sign that if this IS a BFP, it's my DD!

I have taken tests in the middle of the day before. It may be less likely to show up positive if it's super early like you are though. Don't drown yourself in liquids but eat and drink like normal and when you feel like you have to go, go. I wouldn't use an expensive test but a dollar store test would be perfect. DS3 is the only one I used 1st morning urine for. The other two were middle of the day, I had a feeling and took a test.

I have internet cheapies. They worked with DS2 at 7 dpo, but that was first morning's urine. I read online that 4 hours without peeing is the same as first morning's, so I'll see if I can make that happen! If not, it'll be tomorrow morning.

It's still super faint, and I'm not going to be happy until I get a dark, solid line, but I think I can cautiously say it's a BFP!

Thanks for the "2nd morning's urine" advice, Wanting Pink. That's the bottom test. First one is just plain, old, FMU. I would still be completely confused if I only had the top test. The second is darker, and the first is the same as the previous 3 days! It DID appear after the 5 minutes that the instructions on the back suggested, but it's pink, not grey, like evap lines supposedly are. The complaints on Amazon for this product said it took forever to turn, and I think I have to agree with them. Sigh, I'll have to recommend Wondfos to anyone else who wants an IC suggestion.

In the meantime, I'm off to the gym! If it's a fluke, then I'm staying ready for the next sway. If it's a REAL BFP, I want an active, fit pregnancy. Ugh, I'm crampy. Hope that's a good sign!

Thanks everyone. I told DH that I got a questionable result and that I'll have to confirm tomorrow. I REALLY hope it's significantly darker tomorrow, so I can show him and have some closure one way or the other on this awful month's TTC attempt! I think he'll sigh deeply and accept it, though. He really IS a good man, this is just a sore subject coming to a head.

For sure I will find out gender ASAP!!! In fact, I'm going to call around to find an OB who will be fine with my Panorama testing at 9 weeks (I'm turning 35 next month, so it IS an indicated test.) I'll go with the OB that is the closest to my house and will support my Panorama test and then transfer to my midwife after that. It's just awkward doing all the testing with a midwife. Sometimes that insurance doesn't want to cover it unless an MD requests it :(

It's so nerve racking isn't it. First we are waiting for that BFP then once we get it we're nervous and waiting for a healthy bean to stick and arrive safe and sound, then we worry about them once they're here! Why do we do it to ourselves?!? 😉

We defiantly need Due in Dec 2014/Jan 15 tread now! There's going to be a few of us. Yay! And hopefully we have pink beans!! 💜

Wow so cool, wantingpink!!!!

The first one is 11 DPO but it is also the one I threw away!! I didn't get a positive until 12 DPO but even that one was negative at 5 minutes. I usually keep them for an extra hour so I took the kids to school, came home, looked at it again and freaked out!! Then I went and dug the other one out of the trash. I was going crazy in my head.

I found 2nd mu better too. Had a freak out with a lighter test until I remembered the previous days tests had been 2 mu, of course I had to test again, also the IC took over a week to get darker. Congratulations Lilith!! Xx

Lilith....I'd already have purchased, and used about 5 FRER!!!! I always use the dollar store ones for early testing and as soon as there is a hint of a positive, I whip out the FRER to confirm :) Can't wait to see the line darkening!!

Hi Gals,
CD1 here. Looks like had late ovulation and I didint get to bd when I actually indeed was fertile. Today is my dh's surgery and its funny how everything worked out. I have had a hectic last few weeks. I was in a hit and run accident last night by these two high teens. Im kinda glad no bfp for us this month because of all of this mess. More thankful that my children and dh are ok. Good luck to all you recent bfps and those to come and tons of baby dust to those gender dreamers. This momma will be on a break for the next two months because I want to avoid a December and January baby. Plus it gives me time to shed some of these swaying pounds. Good luck beautiful xoxo

flowerlily, I always crave sweets before AF too, and started craving sweets 4-5 days ago and I got a bfp!! Sometimes your AF and PG symptoms can be the same, you're def not out!!

yogi- glad you're ok!!! Totally understand the month thing- are your girls' BD's then? 2 of my boys are Feb/March and my sis's son is March so I did not want another Feb/March baby!! I hope to see your bfp in a few months!!

Thank u ladies! I know this sounds horrible but I'm trying to not get very excited until I at least get to 6 weeks.I don't think I'm even going to call the OB or even get bloodwork until then.I just don't know if I could handle that disappointment again.

Oh thought I should add that hot flashes/night sweats can be a major PG symptom! This is the first time it's happened when PG but I had another one last night- woke up drenched, this is the 4th time since ovulation!!!

I agree with Houseofblue, flowerlily. A lot of us are getting later BFP's, and AF hasn't come, so you're not out! What tests are you using? I am having serious doubts about internet cheapies now, after reading so many negative reviews. I guess I got lucky with my last two pregnancies and was sent decent ones. The batch I used this time SUCKS! It's still squinty-light, and AF is due tomorrow. These are supposed to be the equivalent of FRER's!

I'm going to wait until AF is overdue to buy an expensive test at the drugstore before I show DH again. He wasn't thrilled at the faint line, and I think he still hopes it'll go away. A dark line will give him some closure.

IKWYM ladies..which is exactly what happened to me with DS1, it didn't show until AF was late at least a week..so I know there is still hope. And with DS2 it showed around this time (13dpo).
I'm still using the same brand, (Boots early pregnancy test) it says you can use it 4 days before AF is due. I have friends who use it, they always recommend it (though they always see a + early). Seriously, I need to change that brand. Haven't read their results on the net yet. At least I got the one with 2 tests, so I still have spare one.
My AF is due tomorrow too. If it doesn't come tomorrow I'll test again on Sunday.:)

Guys, seriously, don't use the cheapies.... I tested again yesterday just to make sure, and FRER came up dark and definite immediately, and the dollar store test was barely there, def a squinter! I know some people swear by the cheapies but my experience with them has been terrible and I will never recommend them to anyone! Now I know why they cost a dollar!!
ETA: When I took those tests yesterday, I was 13 or 14 DPO (AF was due today). Ladies use a FRER!!

Well, there is only small €s between the Boots brand and CB digital..:confused: we'll see what the weekend brings.

Flowerlily, do you chart? If so, post a link to your chart and maybe I can guess at when you Oed.

I just entered my temps from today and yesterday and now it looks like I Oed on Friday, which means with another 'high' temp I should get cross hairs tomorrow. It's a slow rise though; usually I have a big temp jump right after O, and I'm still not in my usual post O range 2 days after O this month. I guess it must be the Vitex? Oh, and my almost positive OPK started fading rapidly on Sat, which does suggest I Oed.

I wish now that I had BDed again on Friday. I do have a shot with an attempt 4 days before O but I'm not optimistic. Still, I'm really hoping I did actually O and I will be happy when this awful cycle is over. I don't think I will test until 12DPO or later what with confusion re: O.

Do you mean like on FF or OPKs, no, it's one thing that I'm regretting not using. Just thought to go with the flow and see what happens wich was also the reason I chose to BD once every 4days.

Yes, but they can come before/during/after ovulation, right? So I've had it sinse the beginning of last week..and the worst cramping I ever had was on 10dpo(I had to take 2 paracetamols) and today is 16dpo.
That is really hard one, usually when I have exams or pregnant, or BF a child undeŕ 6 months, as I said in the other thread my cycles have always been regular, even after the m/c they came back after 4 weeks.
E.T.A: On day 14 according to FF.
I was really sleepy and tired when I posted last night.

If you had bad cramping on 10DPO (CD24?) I strongly suspect you Oed then! So now you are 6DPO based on that. How long is your LP (time between O and AF) usually? 14 days?

Did you BD around CD24 at all? You were doing BD every 4 days, right?

Yes my LP is also 14d...I thought the egg was fast gone and we DTD 2 nights after that (I wasn't feeling up to it)...not knowing what was really going on.
Anyways, I'll test every week just to be on the safe side.

To all the ladies TTC pink....vitex always made my ovulation at least 3 days later & I always had a slow rise.The stuff I used was called Femaprin.It is vitex & B6.Took me 3 months to conceive dd#1 & 1 month for dd#2(after I had swayed blue for 14 mos with no luck).dd#1 did low Cal diet & BD everyday leading up to ovulation 7 plus days.
DD#2 low Cal diet BD every other day CD 15 17 19 21.ovulated on day 21.used preseed both times.I 100% believe the vitex& diet gave me my 2 beauties.hth

I'm still not sure which CDs you BDed on but FX you got lucky.
Started it on CD7, then10, 14, 18, 21,and then it should have been on CD24 (or 10dpo) but I had the cramps, (which I thought was from implantation and the eggie fast gone, but from what I can see now it surely wasn't. So it happened again on CD26(12dpo) which now I think was 2dpo, does this make a little sense now?;)
Do you think I might still be in with a chance? Thanks.

Leebug, that makes me feel better about my slow rise and more sure of O. OPKs do align, too - I got my darkest ones, almost positive, starting late the day before.

Flower, 3 days before gives you a great chance! IME O pain is MUCH stronger than implantation, which I've only felt once and it was a very mild sensation. Whereas O pain can be quite intense with full on cramping.

I don't think I could be prepared for a bfn. Especially if it was only negative because I took the test to early. I like ur idea though. :) think I will go with that. No symptoms yet. But with ds2 I had no symptoms till I was 3 or 4 weeks pregnant.

I was already awake when I took my temp, BUT it was at my usual time. I've also been feeling very warm today with flushed cheeks. I am always warmer after O but not usually this warm until 7DPO, if ever.

In pregnancy charts, temps often go higher than ever before, starting around 4-5DPO (at the very earliest). So supposedly a promising sign...does this link let you see my charts?:
