I have 2 kids,

dd(3.5)
ds(17 mos)

I didn't think I had a preference, but after getting my bfp I am in full on panic mode. Over analyzing every single thing I have done before dtd.

I won't say what my preference is. I want to see what my unintentional sway (if any) favors

The facts:

I am still nursing my son.
My af returned last October

My cycles average 30/31 days

My lmp was 1/29

I had a positive opk January 13 (not sure if it helps determine my cycle length or anything)

I had nice ewcm the week of valentines day. Monday tues being the best days 2/10 2/11?

I recall thinking "too late" by Thursday.

Valentines days came and having 2 littles it's not like we could spontaneously dtd lol

About 1/2am vday night (2/15 technically) we dtd. I was on top for the ending. I was pretty much asleep lol.

Next day I panicked. Looked at calendars and figured we were "too late"

I remember testing opks Saturday and Sunday after dtd to see if I had a pos surge but they were all negative (faint 2nd line)

Positive pink pregnancy internet cheapie on Saturday 3/1

I was complaining about being a cow all of January and February, typical after holidays bulge. My husband said I was still eating as if I had a newborn nurser and never adjusted my eating habits and caloric intake. Even though my son was only nursing 4/5 times a day.

Lots of pepperoni pizza, fast food burgers, Taco Bell steak, diet coke, small chobani kick, lots of baked potatoes, huge ones...I would say daily for a while....got a good deal on them lol....garlic bagels and cream cheese, chocolate chip cookies, slim Jim's, man I'm a pig hahaha

Anyhoo just wondering what you guys think

Thanks :)

I would say you swayed for a boy for the most part. Your diet was very boy friendly. You did however do the one attempt at what seems like would have been +opk which sways girl.

Congrats! I think you have some boy and girl sway factors but diet looks more boy! You have a 50/50 chance! If it makes you feel any better, I did a full blown, everything but the kitchen sink sway and ended up with an opposite so you just never know!

You just made me really hungry too:D

Congrats on your BFP! It could go either way :) my timing was apparently Boy Territory but then you have ppl like NCBeachygrl who go all out and end up with an opposite and you have those who didn't care and got what they wanted!

All we can do is sway and hope it all worked out! GL

I agree, it seems your diet was more boy friendly, but the one attempt sways girl. Lots of ewcm sways boy though. I don't think position matters. Congrats! It could go either way!

I'm guessing you want a girl?

Actually, I am hoping for a boy lol.

Which is funny because when I was pregnant with my son I was hoping for a girl. lol.

I was soooooo wrong about boys....I was petrified of them....now I am praying for another. lol

I do have longer cycles-- I was hoping dtd the one time assuming it was after o was going to be helpful with swaying boy.

oh well.

I love boys too and having two little boys together is so fun. I think you may have a better chance of a boy than a girl. Keep us updated :)

FWIW both ds1 & ds2 were OHW at ov! I had lots of EWCM with both as we DTD & my diet was very blue friendly. 2 boys together are great! I think you've probably got more of a blue than pink sway BUT ds3 was conceived with a full-on pink sway inc Clomid! GL :D

I don't play guessing games when people are already pregnant because I think it creates false hope and false despair when in reality you always have a chance of your DG no matter what you did.

I would just like to say good luck to you and no matter what, you can't lose!

Timing in the way you are thinking of it has been totally debunked. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/7691-trouble-timing.html

We have been getting 70-75% success for pink with one attempt, regardless of what day that intercourse took place on.

But please don't despair, that is with an otherwise thorough pink sway. There is always a chance of a boy or a girl.

8 week transvaginal scan for ramzi guessers :)

I asked my tech which side my uterus was on (have a bleed and wanted to see if it's related to a certain side as this is my 3rd pregnancy with a bleed lol) she said she thinks the right

Lol. I really can't go wrong either way!!!

I think I just assume my youngest would benefit from a little brother being a boy himself.

My eldest...A girl...is so independent, it won't make a difference to her lol

I have another scan tomorrow

I will be 9+3

I know it might be late for ramzi...but I'm wondering if I should ask the tech again lol

Both of my pregnancies have been on the right side and are both boys. I also felt
Ov pain on the right side (i always kept a record as I get strong mittlez pain)

Got a gooooood feeling for boy xo

You can't tell what side you ovulated from on the basis of pain. Even if it works for people from time to time, it doesn't mean that it will always be that way for others or even for the same person in another month. Your ovaries develop eggs on both sides every month, your tubes cramp on both sides every month, and it can cause pain even when it's not the side you O from.
