Update: Thanks so much for your encouragement ladies. Even with the lines on all the tests...I am not pregnant. I called my OB after my crazy experience at the doctor. They felt horrible for me after I told them how my doctor acted. The drew my blood and pushed through a rush order on my blood results at the lab. They even had a special driver come out to their office to rush my blood to the main hospital lab. They called 2 hours later to tell me that it was in fact negative. I was still in shock because the lines were there. Best of all, after all that, the "wicked witch" came to visit Saturday morning. I showed my husband and two other close friends the actual tests and even they were amazed since the lines were so visible. This was an eventful experience so I think I am going to postpone my next attempt to July. I'm not ready to go through this again in a few days.

As for my extremely rude, inconsiderate doctor. She's toast! She will get no more of my insurance money

I'm so sorry to hear that :( Did you tell your OB about all the positive tests? Do you think it was a chemical pregancy and thats why the tests were positive then neg blood test? How terrible. I'm glad you're going to stay away from the rude doctor. Ugh. Good luck, sweetie.

Thanks for the tip, steph! I think I did buy some zinc but haven't taken it yet. Will look for that... I've had a couple of weeks off the diet at times (per atomics' advice) but I'm way easing up on it now. Worried I'm easing too much, but as I know you know, gotta get that O happening somehow, right? I'm just trying to make sure I get the exercise in and hoping it's enough to still sway.

So sorry, Mamaluv! What a terrible roller coaster experience. That is so weird about the lines! I think taking a month off is a great idea, and hopefully July is your lucky month.

Was your last AF normal? If not, I probably would take an HPT as well.

I started my 2WW the 23rd. We DTD at my +OPK. I'm not very good at waiting and I'm already wondering when I could start testing? I bought a bulk pack of OPK's plus HPT and I'm going to test with those first. Then if I get a + I will test with a digital HPT. I will also have to do a blood test to get a referral to our OB office.

All of this before a cross country move in 3 weeks :suprise:

Don't test early unless you can handle BFN's! I speak from experience. I test when I *know* it's waaaay too early, but I'm prepared for it. The earliest you should test is 10 dpo (not from pos opk). But I've been known to test as early as 5dpo, which is far far FAR too early!!!

UGH!! I was so okay with the spotting this morning, but it stopped this afternoon! VERY UNLIKE ME, irregular cycles or not, break through bleeding and early spotting is rarely an issue besides the very beginning of AF, there's never any stop go stop go. And on those rare occasions it's only brown, this morning was brown, pink, and a spot of red (sorry for the picture lol). Hopefully AF will still show in the morning... if not... I'll continue to wonder if I had false ovulation pains on the 7th and what I thought was implantation spotting/cramping might have been my true Ov pains on the 17th, with our last dtd the 15th... 2 day cut off and ttc blue. Bah

But I'm sure since I actually typed this out though, it'll be AF in the am. I just want my body to quit playing with my head so I can move on. Just ordered a nice big pack of ov tests and pg tests and placed my bbt thermometer by the bed.

These are the cheapo SurePredict tests I took today at 3:45am, 1:30pm, and 11:00pm. They're supposed to be more sensitive than FRER detecting hcg as low as 10miu, but the reviews are mixed with false positives and evaps LOL! I had 10 of them so figured I'd use them up! I actually took one last month when we weren't even TTC and when I was still on the minipill and it came back with a super faint line but it was unusually skinny and didn't look right. What do you think? I'm either 8 or 9dpo today.

odd -- I usually cheat a lot during the time between (what would be) implantation and AF. I figure that the baby has already implanted and determined....and I don't know it. I usually still skip breakfast and red meat, but eat whatever otherwise. I hope this is your last 2 ww for at least 9 months :P

Essnce - I think you are on your way to a BFP! 8-9 dpo is super early (even on 10 mls tests). I'm sure your FRER will come up with 2 lines in no time!

I had an attempt last night. Going to keep testing with OPK's. Still can't believe it was that positive yesterday afternoon and I suspect it was super concentrated. It was slightly pos last night, but nothing like the afternoon. If I get an OPK Friday, as I was anticipating, I'll DTD again Sat a.m. and hope I don't miss it. Still 4 days in between! minus about 12 hours, I guess.

AF Limbo is certainly the worst, I kept checking all morning and nothing at all. Finally caved and grabbed an 88 cent test (feeling guilty about all the wasted $$ on BFNs this month). I took another SurePredict test with smu today and this time it was BFN. No shadow of a line or anything! So who knows what's up!

I'm either 9 or 10dpo today (I think 9, FF says 10). I refuse to waste another FRER so I'm saving it for tomorrow. I had a super faint BFP on 10dpo with DS2 so fingers crossed!

Spotting off and on as of noonish, very light, don't even need a liner yet. Super annoyed at myself for not detecting O lol. Don't really have high hopes, but when spotting stops it makes me wonder if I could have Ov'ed CD24 rather than the 14th and if I'm experiencing ib.. or if maybe with those faint positives this might actually be a chemical so my hormones are out of wack, which could be throwing AF off. Will be testing Friday if AF hasn't come full force yet.

Still VERY excited to see all of these BFPs, so happy for ya'all and hoping for sticky beans for everyone ^_^

So 2 nights ago (48hrs ago) I got an almost positive after a fade in pattern. Then yesterday morning and again last night I got a very positive. But now I just got another very dark positive?? We had our attempt last night so should we just leave it at that or should I be concerned it was too early as I'm still getting positives??

Yesterday spotting stopped around 3pm and started back up this morning, still so light I don't need any liner yet. This is so abnormal!! Mumofsix, this is exactly what happened to me too earlier this month. We kept to the one attempt. FX we caught the egg!

I know I tested too early this week but I'm too scared to test to see another BFN so will try to hold on till Monday which would make me about 13DPO.

How very strange essence...still hoping this is your month ...

Well, I couldn't get dh to move a muscle last night despite my best attempts. So, no dtd. Grrrrr. Hoping we're not too late if I can get him hopping today. Technically this is day #4 for dtd every 4 days, so I'm hoping if that method work we're still in the running. Had another +OPK this morning. (I do the digital so it's either smiles or no smiles...both yesterday and today I got smiles!) I've been doing 1 attempt at +OPK for 3 months, so I'm hoping that maybe by doing something a little different, this might be my month?

This had me in tears today... one of my friends from junior high posted a photo on facebook of her and her toddler daughter getting their nails done together with the caption "first time doing our nails together... I've been waiting for this my whole life!" Really hit home. Me too, but I may never have it!
Trying to be happy for her and not depressed for me.

Sigh. Is it too late in the 2ww or a glass of wine?

I am not sure what is going on. I have yellow stretchy cm...The kind I have while pregnant. I thought it might be yellow from left over miscarriage stuff and that I should be ovulating soon. Nope. Even though it's ewcm my opk tests are sooo negative it's not even funny. Every other month they would get darker as soon as the ewcm showed up. It's been two days. I did have ewcm a week ago and we attempted just in case but that is so soon after a loss...it was cd7. Today I am cd14. I think we might do an attempt tonight and just see what happens. I'm not sure what to think other than I know those tests aren't turning positive anytime soon.

Rosie you're probably just ovulating late, either due to hormone issues after the miscarriage or maybe even stress from the miscarriage itself. I've always had really regular cycles, but even then I've O'd as early as CD12 and as late as CD20! I have 52 charts to look back on and things change for no reason. I'd keep testing and I'm sure you'll get your +opk within the next week. Maybe just DTD every 4 days in the meantime. Good luck!!!!!

Yes 4 attempts is great for blue, in fact I had 4 attempts leading up to my positive OPK when DS was conceived - thurs night, sat morning, sun afternoon and monday night (the pos OPK was monday). Weird, you and I are in the exact same boat. My opks are still pos. As in the test line is still darker than the control line. Since Tuesday (the day of our attempt). Tomorrow's going to be hard to fit in an attempt, but I'm going to do it...somehow, someway. I don't have any ewm either. Bodies are weird. They never act how you think they're going to.

Good luck. What CD are you? I got my pos on cd 10, which is why I'm hesitant to believe it was accurate. I was expecting my first one today. It would be so much easier if the stork really brought babys :P

Well, I couldn't get dh to move a muscle last night despite my best attempts. So, no dtd. Grrrrr. Hoping we're not too late if I can get him hopping today. Technically this is day #4 for dtd every 4 days, so I'm hoping if that method work we're still in the running. Had another +OPK this morning. (I do the digital so it's either smiles or no smiles...both yesterday and today I got smiles!) I've been doing 1 attempt at +OPK for 3 months, so I'm hoping that maybe by doing something a little different, this might be my month?

This had me in tears today... one of my friends from junior high posted a photo on facebook of her and her toddler daughter getting their nails done together with the caption "first time doing our nails together... I've been waiting for this my whole life!" Really hit home. Me too, but I may never have it!
Trying to be happy for her and not depressed for me.

Really?! Wow finally a positive!! I might take another test in a couple of hours to see what it looks like too. I emailed atomic to see what her opinion is on BD tonight (7.30pm when DS goes to bed) as opposed to first thing tomorrow (7am-ish before DS wakes up). Because we last BD on weds but by the time the egg comes out in 24-48 hours time there will be no spermies left, I have had hardly any EWCM this week. You have to understand girls I am so broody and desperate to be PG now so I cannot let weds be my attempt, I am not confident with a cutoff like that.

I think the right line is a tad darker than the left....and I don't know which is which! But if you say that the left is darker in real life, then I would agree, positive and BD away :)

Starting to think may is not my month either. Had light spotting yesterday (7 dpo) and still spotting today 8 dpo. Not even the most optimistic part of me can hope for it to be IB since every cycle has been like this. Starts lightly and then gets heavier until it turns to AF at 10-11 dpo. :sad:

Just a quick check in as it's after 2am here and I need to go to bed asap since tomorrow is DS2's 5th birthday party! It's a triple birthday party with 2 other friends of his whose birthdays are all the same week. It's turned into a HUGE party with over 130 people. My mom is staying with us this weekend to help out and me, her, DH, and DS1 stayed up tonight and made 300 fruit skewers! I'm sooooo tired! We're having a taco guy at the party so I'm sure I'll be eating a ton! It's Rio2 themed (the movie) and we're having a bounce house, bird show, and photo booth! So crazy!!!!

I was 11dpo today and have not tested in over 24 hours. My SurePredict test last night at 10dpo was BFN with no shadow or anything. I only have one SurePredict test left, one FRER, and 3 CB digitals. Not sure if I should take a test before bed right now or tomorrow at 12dpo. If no BFP by tomorrow then I think I'm out for May. Which would be too bad since I've only exercised ONCE in the past 11 days!!!! And I'm pretty sure I've been over the LE limits for the past week!

Haha! It's just because it's a birthday party for all 3 boys and the kids go to Montessori school so the class size is big-- 35 kids per class and it's 2 classes that were invited. So 60+ kids plus their parents/siblings = A LOT!!! Besides the school kids, I only invited my mom and 3 of my friends from home. Should be fun but all the planning has worn me down and I've had a sore throat for 3 days!

I've been super cranky all month too!
Sore boobs, nauseous, irritable. Pretty much describes me right now. Extra irritated because I thought I ordered tests that picked up 10mIU but instead bought 30 - 25mIU tests. If I put in the day I think I ovulated on FF it says I'm 13dpo and I got a bfn with smu. I feel total yuck and like I'm definitely pregnant, but I think since I feel that way AF will probably show in a day or two. I really hope not all of my cycles are 40 freaking days long, it's going to drive me insane.

Oh, ladies... I am almost afraid of actually saying this out loud (knock on wood) but I think I have a line!!

Tested again 1 hour ago with very dark urin (only held 2 hrs but didn't drink much today, it was much more concetrated now than for my morning test). For the first time ever during all this crazy testing DH actually sat and stared at the test after taking it, and when he said: "Where am I supposed to see it, is it there, where the pink is starting to show?" I realized it wasn't only my eyes seeing something.

It is not strong, but clearly visible (and came up within 2 minutes) and for being 8 dpo I wouldn't expect it to be stronger.

I don't wanna scream it out yet since I had lines last month too, but this one is at least stronger and turned up really fast. Will test again as soon as possible (if not tonight so tomorrow morning) and I really hope it won't be white. Had a small spotting this morning as well (I saw it firstly yesterday morning so pleeeease let it be IB and not bad spottings that could disturb an implanted egg) but now nothing more.

Had a bit of cramping and a funny feeling in my nipples so that's why I decided to have another test.

I'll update later when I have another test taken.

I understand it is a tough one Rosie. Stephs suggestion might be a good compromice to keep the sperm on the lower side? On the other side you conceived easily last month, at first try, right? So from that view you probably don't have to worry too much if you have a few days cut off since. Oh, I can't advice you, I wish I had something more clever to say!

Yes, I had a strong opk on wednesday last week, ran out of tests but assumed it should have been positive on thursday. Then friday am I felt o pain that was gone in the evening. So 8 dpo should be correct :-) (But it might look stronger since I adjusted the comntrast, but I have to say I was surprised over the quick and strong result only 2 hours after last test).

Sorry it didn't work if you wanted to add a new attempt, but I don't think you should consider your chances as low anyway!

Well I'm on CD38 and that's the longest cycle I've had before this.

O was not confirmed, at first I thought CD14 was O day but I've since realized what I thought was severe implantation cramps and spotting CD24 was probably my real ovulation. If I'm right (which I really do think I am) that puts me at 13DPO, spotting started 9DPO and has been brown until today where I'm getting pink CM.

As far as sups, I've been on them for something like 8-10 weeks now I think. I take fish oil, prenatal, extra folic acid, evening primrose the first half of the cycle, probiotics, and CQ10. Last month my cycle was only 29 days with no weirdness, the cycle before was 38 days but no spotting. Haven't had a cycle longer than 38 since having DD2 almost 3 years ago.

If I'm not pregnant I'd like to just get on with it already.

I don't what is medically considered a standard cycle and whats no, but 38 days is a pretty long when trying to catch these eggs and counting days til next possible attempt. Thanks Marika! A 38 day cycle by itself doesn't stress me much, I conceived DD2 on what would have been a 50 day cycle and the wait to test didn't bother me one bit. It's not odd for me to ovulate late. This month I keep getting the weirdest symptoms and all this spotting that is so unlike me, it leaves me feeling anxious for an answer. I just had all my hormone and thyroid levels checked a few months back and they looked good, so not really sure WHY I'm irregular, but it *shouldn't* affect me being able to get pg.

I am officially 1DPO and in the 2ww. I must share a complaint though. My cbfm gave me my peak yesterday and I must have ovulated shortly after because my cm abruptly changed. I am glad I had my wondfos because I would have missed my egg. I think from now on I am only using wondfo opks.
This is my 5th month ttc. I hope I caught my egg and get my a bfp. Good luck everyone 😁💞💝

Anyone here experience extreme bloating? I mean.. this is unlike anything I've ever had before, my stomach is rock hard and when I slouch it pushing against my diaphragm and ribs making breathing uncomfortable. It started yesterday and has only gotten worse today. Managed to eat a couple slices of pizza with the hubs even though I was uncomfortable and now I feel nauseous. Yucky! Going to take some tylenol to help with the neck pain and headache I've got going on too. I wonder if I'm coming down with something.

So today I have mild cramping, am in a foul mood and not much but some EWCM. Opk's still have 2 very close coloured lines but defiantly lighter than the past few days. If I'm ovulating today then Wednesdays attempt would have been too early (I've never gotten PG that early before O) and I'll be even more upset that our attempt last night was a huge failure! This is driving me nuts!! 😜

Marika-- huge congratulations on your BFPs!!!!!

So I think I'm out for this month. I took my last SurePredict test last night at 10:30pm and it was another BFN. Then I didn't go to the bathroom the entire day with all the craziness of the party and just took my last FRER after a 10 hour hold and it was also a stark white BFN. I'm 12dpo today. AF should be here on Monday or Tuesday. No more tests for me.

Mum this is normal for DH, to be honest I can't be bothered arguing, it's every couple of months, wouldn't put up with it if it was every week. Only problem is I want him to drive to our friends today so I can drink but he is probably still over the limit grrrrr I said I will drive there but he can drive back! Yes you should definitely attempt today just in case.

Mum, it's probably your LH coming down. You will find as the days gone on, they will get lighter. Mine from today looks the same as the day before my +OPK. But I'm pretty certain I already ovulated.

H (no, not DH) has no interest in DTD tonight....he "has to" move some photos off his laptop to his server...photos that have been on his laptop for months but suddenly today need to be moved!! Nor is he DTD because I just had a bath and "will be full of water"!! WTF? I told him he was an idiot and now he is watching Hall Pass (a movie where a guy gets a week off from being married) and drinking coke and eating whatever he can because "he can as he doesn't need to be on the diet anymore".

And I dared asked if he could clean up what's left of the dishes while I sit with DS6 who is unsettled and you'd think of asked him to scrub the walls and floors and "why should he have to when he cut up the pumpkin for dinner!" So he has left it for me to do when DS6 falls asleep.

So cross right now! Bloomin' men. If only we didn't need them to TTC! 😠

Took another test this morning, BFN. On the plus side, my spotting got sooooo light yesterday and today it seems like it isn't coming back. CD39/14DPO. Will take another test tomorrow morning and if it's BFN and still no AF I'm going to call the dr to see if they'll do a blood test.

Mum, my dh is finding all kids of "important" stuff at ttc time lately, too. I think he's still waffling in his mind over whether he wants a 4th baby or not. Of course, he's the sort who will waffle for years. I try telling him he's an old freakin man--we need to get to it! Lol! But I'm in the same boat this month. At +opk he was too tired, the kids were up too late, he was "coming down with something" (that he never actually got!), etc., etc., etc. At least we were trying for every 4 days, but I fear our attempts were too early to really count this month. And I'm so not in the mood to attempt again now...he's in the doghouse until next cycle.

Rosie I'm not an expert but I'm sure I read somewhere here that it's not uncommon to have more than one positive but it's the first one that counts.

Rosie from the first Positive OPK it takes 24-48 hours for the egg to release.
If you look online for pictures of how the variation Egg and LH peak works you'll see the egg can release within the Peak.

The OPK's you have there are very sensitive. (I stopped them because I spot real long LH peaks and was worried I was to early. )

Don't worry try to BD every 4 days you'll be fine

I think the Actual Peak started yesterday. the OPK from friday is a bit lighter then yesterday. (and the control line. with so clear positves after that count from yesterday)

I don't feel so well. I kinda crashed yesterday.. I was sooo cranky and tired. I've slepped an ate a lot.. today I've slepped also and ate a bit more but not a lot. I start to feel a bit better. I'm pretty tired.. (joints are from an 80 year old women lol) I think I've got a bladder infection. I need to pee a bit more and its cramping before and after I peed.
and being this tired... guess it's the drop.

I don't know but my tests look the same as yours and the instructions say the egg may release 24-48 hours after the positive. Sorry I am not that knowledgeable as I only used opks for 2 months when TTC DS and they didn't work the first month (no positive). I'm sure someone on here will know though.

So many opk problems! I begin to understand why ppl choose to BD every 4 days and skip the tests. They can be pretty stressful.

Essnce - wow, your son is adorable! And what a party! I hope you only tested too early and that AF doesn't show up for you!

Mumofsix - I would also have been pretty upset if H would give priority to the photos on the computer instead of BD. Hope he rethaught... and helped out with the kitchen.
