I just keep thinking that it would be better next cycle to get preg... I don't feel like this last one was a good sway because we went away for several weekends and I ate a lot of bad things before we DTD. We are not planning any trips for a while so I have time to work up to the next one and loose more weight. I actually want BFN this time!

Oh, Purple I 100% identify!!!! I feel good about my sway in terms of my diet, but we were just kind of messing around and since I O'd on my birthday thought we'd throw caution to the wind ... we had planned on waiting til October. But then lo and behold I got a BFP. I had been counting on a BFN but DH and I really should know better than to fool around; DD1 was a BCP baby. I know how the unexpected BFP is just not as exciting as it should be so FX you get a second shot at this!

Welcome and gl lobella! Ok, I have several weird and wonderful symptoms that could easily be explained away!! I don't actally know how many dpo I am but I think maybe 6!!!!
yesterday I had yellowish discharge (disgusting I know!!!) I read this can be an early pregnancy sign but I actualy think it's a yi (lovely!!)
I am exhausted!! However, ds1 had a vomiting bug and I was up taking care of him so that could easily explain tiredness
I have bad backache.....however, ds2 is sooooo clingy and loves being picked up and he is getting very heavy!
I have spot outbreaks. I randomly get them anyway
I had a terrible headache today. I randomly get these too!!!
I have had several restless nights sleep - you guessed it, I randomly have thesee anyway!!
In short, I ave NO idea if I'm preggers or not :)

ELP, me too with the dreams!!! I just KNEW I was pg after I had a CRAZY vivid dream at 9DPO that I got a BFP, and in my dream I was pretty upset about it... I actually didn't test that morning when I got up bc I knew if I saw a BFP I'd be bummed.

I'm totally happy with it now though! But at first my BFP was not at all thrilling. None of mine have been actually but the end results I'm totally in love with, so I'm sure this one will be just the same!

Oh good I had seen a few people test at 10 and get BFP so I was getting worked up for nothing. I never tested until after missed AF with all my DS's so I don't have any previous experience with when would be the soonest I got a BFP.

5 I *think* it takes 3-4 days after implantation for your HCG levels to be high enough to be detected on a pg test. So I'd say if yesterday was your dip you've got a few days yet before you'll see the +. But I bet you will!!!

Yup:) After a good 12+ hours from the am, the hcg builds up more in your system, and also if you drink very little at the end of your day, your urine isn't as diluted because it isn't such a big quantity like the first morning urine. Phew....what a run on sentence! Sorry!

Lots of people get pregnant without the classic symptoms. Looking back, I don't think I've ever gotten sore boobs until I was several weeks pregnant, and nausea can be caused by just about anything.

Show me your chart! I think high temps are good signs so FX!! The first 6 or so days after o for me kept climbing up and then the drop at 9dpo and now slowely gone back up but only slowely and not quite as high as they got to just before the dip?

Really!!! My temps were basically settled around 97.10 p-ov then went to 97.34, 97.50, 97.17 (I was up this night), 97.39, 97.52 (stayed here for a few days) then this morn 97.77. It has been a weird temp month so I don't really know what to make of it!!! I think I'm about 9dpo today but it could be less!

If you´re really 9dpo, I think it´s a good sign that your temp went up another time, my temp usually gets down around 9 dpo but I only have a 11 days follicular phase. Did you temp other months and can you compare?? FX!

Getting calendar ready for my next cycle so I don't miss anything. Got the pill holder filled and ready for when I start, when AF comes. Informed hubby when abstaining starts and when we DTD... Swish and Yuzu - I take a lot of things... sp, vitex, and b6. Also raspberry, iron, A, E, Mag, and cal. I am more concerned about having a healthy baby then having a girl.

I did notice that with my last cycle I ran out everything a few days before O day but didn't think anything would affect O at that time. But it delayed it for 3 days. When I take the herb/supp/vita I O right around 11 days.

OK, I have good and bad news at 12dpo. I took a earlyprenancytest.com hpt this morning and there was such a faint 2nd line I thought my mind might be playing tricks on me so ran out and got a FRER. The 2nd line is still light but there. Soooo, BFP for me. I know everyone will congratulate me but I'm scared to death right now. If my thyroid levels are still off (pray they are not) I can m/c or my baby's brain development could be effected and other birth defects and issues. I've emailed my OBGYN & GP to let them know. I'm not scheduled to take another thyroid test until mid-end of August but the damage is done during the 1st trimester so I'm really scared. I wanted this to be a happy occasion, now I'm just scared.

the fun part is we found out on DD2s 7th b-day!

BTW- my symptoms during the 2WW have been some nausea when I hadn't recently eaten but not for like a 7 dpo (I'd have to look at FF to give an exact day), very bloated/somewhat gassy up until dpo11 then it went a way a bit, cervix has been high since O, had creamy CM at 11dpo. CM & CP aren't reliable ways to confirm BFP but I thought I'd let you know. Had what I guess is a implantation dip at 10dpo.

If this hpt is wrong then I take it all back. :)

Do you have hypothyroid issues? If your thyroid problems are manifesting only through tests and you don't have any physical issues then your hormon levels are probably slightly of balance and it's not likely it will hurt your baby. Even with mothers with clinical thyroid conditions is not simple (and necceserily) bad thyroid levels= baby brain damaged ( God forbid! )

I often find myself wanting to test right before I eat my bland supper, thinking that if I get a BFP I'll throw the food out and order pizza! :bigsmile:

Our attempt this month also could have been better, but I´m slowly starving away like you lol so I dropped some aspects to have a better change and I´m feeling good about that decision. It gets harder to stick to the diet now, because I see food all day thinking there´s a possibility I could actually eat that in 10 days.

Indira - I hear you about it being harder to stick to the diet when we're potentially so close to being done! What I did last month, and I'll do it again this month - is plan one big splurge meal for either the day I get a BFP (though of course every day can be a splurge day after that), or the day that af arrives. It helps to buffer the disappointment a bit to have yummy food to look forward to. This past month I had a deep fried panzerotti. Yum!

Yes, I´m going to do that. Whatever happens I will eat everything I want the day AF arrives.
O, I really like this idea!
I was thinking I will never be able to stick to the diet after a BFN, was admiring you and swish for being able to do that, now I have my strategy :happy:

We all need pleasures in life now and then, and we boy Moms love our food! I think a little comfort food on the day af arrives isn't going to hurt the sway at all, especially if it gives us the motivation to keep going one more month. :HH:
