I think cheating on the diet during af is a great idea. Funny how boy mums find the pink diet hard and girl mums find the blue diet hard. It does seem like swaying makes a lot of sense though and encouraging to make us push on with it. I intend to spend 2 meat free days if I get my af this month :cheer: gives me something to look forward to if I get bfn.

Hey ladies, I'm fairly positive I'm 1dpo now (cm has dried up, cervix is firm and closed), but I've still got crazy cramps. If I didn't know better I'd think that af was on her way. I've never had very painful ovulation - I'm used to getting a few cramps for maybe an hour, but that's it. This time I had sharp pains all day yesterday and this dull ache in my lower abdomen all night last night and it's still going on this morning. Anyone else had this?

I had those pains after O for like 3 days, very bloated and abd pains! I was thinking it was implanatation symptoms, but NO. since AF got here yesterday.

AF is ending for me... O date predicted for July 30th (Ovacue monitor)... Hubbies away the 24pm-25am but he is just fine with the freq release :) ... We plan to DTD 25pm to 27pm (2x's a day) and then wait until 12+hrs after O!

So I will be 2DPO in the August 2ww! Praying for this time to be our BFP so I can start planning how I will tell our families and friends... Thinking of taking a picture of the boys holding a doll and using it for a profile pic on facebook and see who can figure it out first! But I will tell greatgranny, both sets of grandparents, and hubby first ;)

Mocha me too. I have been having a lot of creamy CM on and off since day 2. I am now at day 5 and had some today and yesterday. I don't want to feel too positive and overconfident but am secretly hoping it is an early pregnancy symptom!!! But then you are right could be that I missed O altogether! Who knows. Must just distract myself until I can test...

The cramps have finally gone now, to be replaced by fatigue. I'm not someone who needs a lot of sleep, and I NEVER nap. Today, though, after a completely normal night with the kids (I was up reading until about 11:30, was up two or three times in the night for 5 minutes each time attending to one or another of the kids, then woke for the day at 6:30 with them), I am sooooo tired. I napped briefly this morning while they were watching tv, then again this afternoon while they were playing with dh. What's up with that? It seems to be 3dpo should be too early for this to be a pregnancy symptom.

I'm 4dpo now, and I've been feeling extremely queasy all morning. Of course, it could just be my usual hunger pangs from skipping breakfast, but it feels a lot more intense than usual.

I've decided I'm going to test at 9dpo instead of 10dpo, since technically that's 5 days before my period is due. I'd really love to order in some greasy, salty takeout food this weekend as a celebration!!! :fx:

I am so excited to say that so far everything is going as planned... I haven't Ov yet but I want so badly to start testing so I can be preg and done with the diet. The steaks in the freezer are so tempting.

It has been raining for weeks and the smell in the air is so relaxing... more rain expected for the rest of the week. DTD every 12hrs is going as planned. Supps/herbs/pills are working for both of us. And I am already nesting ;)

Wondering if I will get twins... I am days away from Ov but both sides have been cramping for the last 24hrs.

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for you~ With my DS2 I tested at 9, 10 and 11dpo and had stark white negatives on 9 and 10dpo(and I know exactly when I O'd). The line was very faint on 11dpo and then quite visible at 12dpo. Here's hoping!!!! xo

I'm 7dpo today. I've been feeling nauseous every morning (but that's probably just hunger from not eating breakfast), but yesterday I found myself feeling nauseous as I was going to bed, which is very unusual. I know it wasn't hunger because I had just had a snack an hour and a half before. I also had period-like cramps yesterday afternoon for about an hour.

I'm planning to test Saturday - I was going to hold out until 10dpo, which would be Sunday, but I doubt I'll be able to wait that long.

It's going to be reallly hard not to test tomorrow, since I'll be 8dpo and that's when I got my BFP with my twins. I do have a stack of ic cheapies, so I might use one of those for fun, but I'll save my FRERs for Saturday and Sunday.

I'll admit I don't really FEEL pregnant. I keep squeezing my boobs to see if they're sore and there's nothing :think: Then again, when I look back on my symptoms from my last pregnancy, sore boobs didn't come until a little later. All I really have is the nausea and the hunger, which can be explained away easily by this crazy diet. I've also been having a bit of diarrhea (sorry for the tmi), which could explain the cramps.

So atleast there will be a few testing with me... I am going to wait until Aug 6th or 7th to test and then every few days after. If I get any faint lines I will start testing everyday.

I feel a lot better about this cycle since my eating habits haven't been messed up with eating out or traveling (snacking). I haven't lost any weight in a week but I am eating rice for the week so I hope that is enough or not enough food.

Hey cycle buddy (DM)! So why are you hoping for a BFN again? I am hoping for a BFP...but now today...being 1dpo....I am second guessing everything I did. I am nervous like crazy! So I want a BFP but I am scared. Plus I have not been good on diet today at all. I skipped breakfast so that is good and I barely ate anything yesterday (O day and trying to keep glucose way down) but today I was starved! I will get backon wagon tomorrow. I got a BFN at 10dpo this morning :sad: My pg test says only 53% accurate at 10 dpo so I will wait till 12 dpo and am (trying) not to give up hope. How r u doin? Sorry too many pages to read back if you have reported already.

I am feeling a lot of breast tenderness you know like when you are bf and you can feel let down? It feels like that. I remember I felt that at the beginning of my pregnancies especailly with the girls. But it could also be that my af is coming as I feel it then also.:shrug: Who knows will test tomorrow.

I am back in the 2 week wait after a crazy cycle. The morning after our last attempt we went swiming with some friends so I am pretty sure I am out before I start. It is getting challenging to hide my sway. Could not come up with a good reason not to go swimming especially since it is like 107 here and the boys needed to get out of the house.

8dpo today and a BFN (I know...big surprise:rofl:). At least I only used an IC so I didn't waste the money on a FRER. I DO have a 2 pack of FRERs, and I think I'm going to use the first one tomorrow.

I'm really crampy on and off all the time, and last night my belly felt bloated like it might explode if I bent over. My nausea comes and goes all day too - most of the time if could be explained away by hunger from this bloody diet, but lately I've been feeling queasy in the evenings, soon after I've had my snack. I have lots of creamy cm and I'm finding myself falling asleep all the time. Here's hoping! :fx:

I like this website the tale is do not look at test after the time as they will give you false positives. So let's save each other some heartache and not get excited until we actually get a blue line (I had to buy a blue line test) and a pink line. Well I tested this morning with a dip stick test that says picks up hcg as low as 25 and to test after 7-10 days after conception, and a big fat NOT PREGNANT for me. No 2nd line not even a smidgen not even after looking at it with a looking glass after 2 hours. I am 11 dpo so I think I am out. I think the let down that I was feeling was because dd2 was sick yesterday and was crying a lot and I only weaned her about a month ago. So good luck Indira I hope mine was the wishful thinking positive and yours will be a real one. GL also to the rest of you ladies.

To be honest I am thinking maybe it would be better if I am not pregnant as I have been doing the high everything diet and have been wondering whether I should do the French GD. I got the book from India and I first read the girl diet part. I am telling you pink swayers I am a walking girl FGD you should try it. It worked for me getting the 2 girls. It will work for you I am sure.

By the way what is a FRER? I am not going to test again until I am officially late but I should buy one. Thanks Layla, but you're not out yet! Last month when I was still hoping for a BFP at 12dpo, I heard lots of stories of women who got their BFP at 13 and 14dpo, and even later!

A FRER is a First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test - it can get a + up to 5 days before your period is due. I've gotten all my BFPs with one: at 8dpo with my twins, and 11dpo with ds3. In my opinion, they're worth the extra money.

My boobs have been feeling a little weird today. A few times they felt full of milk, and other times I've gotten brief stabbing pains in them. I'm starting to get a little too hopeful that I'm pregnant and am worrying that I'm setting myself up for more disappointment.

No kidding...the tww is absolute torture! 3dpo for us today....only 6-7 days til testing:) Oh and to answer your question about why I want a BFN....When I got a BFN with my last cycle, I booked a trip to Nashville, TN to go to a midwifery conference. It's supposed to be amazing and the speakers there are incredible:) So....$800 dollars later, a plane ticket and getting really excited about it.....now here I am with a wonky cycle* and potentially an oops pregnancy where I'd be due 2 days after the conference! So, I won't be able to go and they don't refund!!! I'm really hoping that DTD 3 days before O will lessen my chances considerably.

*- I started to bleed on CD 25 after a temp jump just 7 days before. I thought my luteal phase was kinda short but I am nursing my 13mos old quite a bit still. So we DTD on what I thought was CD 1 and 3. Got old blood tinged EWCM on CD4 along with a fade in OPK and I ovulated on CD 6! Now of course after looking at my cycle, I think I had a temp jump but no ovulation and I have no clue what the bleeding was! To top it off my DH and I ate like pigs that weekend for his 40th bday BBQ, had some red meat, alcohol, potatoes etc....didn't use any sylk(or any type of acidic substance) and he deposited so deep he basically did IUI! LOL Fantastic! So now I hope for a BFN:) I am planning for a late Fall conception:)

Thanks, Emmy. Don't worry - my BFN today didn't surprise me at all. I know it's very early. I actually like testing early because it gives me something to look forward to every morning, and there's not a lot of disappointment involved because it's still so early you know that it's still highly possible you'll get your BFP the next day. I think with my personality if I were to wait until 13dpo or later to test, there'd be way too much hope riding on one little pee stick, and if I got a BFN I'd be devastated. This way I have time to ready myself for disappointment, but in the meantime get a little excitement waiting for the test results each day.

A new symptom today: a runny nose that comes and goes. No real nausea yet today, but I do seem to be peeing a lot more often.

I'm 1dpo today! I can't believe it, I ovulated on cd18 which is good for me as I'd been ov'ing up to cd31. Hopefully this means my cycles are straightening out a bit! (I just quit breastfeeding less than 2 months ago which was hopefully the cause of my screwy cycles) I haven't been doing the girl diet thing very well because I just can't stick to it. I had very little cm (my boys were conceived with gobs of EWCM) and I used replens for ph & sylk for lube. We did 3 straight nights of bd'ing (no big O for me on days 2 & 3 ...with a finger tip of replens before each bd. I ended up with less than a 24 hour cutoff. Anyway, I have high hopes that this is my cycle because it would make my due date just one day before my birthday. I'd love a birthday baby! I know it's not a hard core sway by any means but at least my environment certainly seemed different than when I conceived my boys.

Hi ladies - 10dpo and a BFN this morning. I was feeling very discouraged because I felt symptomless as well suddenly...but then I started to feel nauseous and crampy again - I also have a funny nose still. Hopefully I'll get that BFP tomorrow!

Has anyone else gotten their BFP without getting sore/bigger boobs? I've had a few stabbing pains now and then in my boobs - but nothing I would have noticed had I not been in tune with every tiny twinge. They're definitely not bigger, and the nipples are no more sensitive than usual. When I look back at my symptoms with ds3, I didn't mention sore boobs, so I'm hoping that symptom just comes later for me. Also, after nursing my twins for 2 years then ds3 for 2 years, they've been reduced to mudflaps and so I wouldn't expect them to be super-sensitive anyway.

Mocha-with both of my girls I had absolutely ZERO symptoms before I got my BFP!!!! None whatsoever!!! That's why I'm hopeful that these symptoms I'm having now is a good sign that I have a baby boy in my belly!

I'm 10dpo today. I will be testing in the morning with a FRER. I am so nervous! I want it so bad, but I feel like it won't come I have some signs and then I don't have signs. I could chalk them all up to AF or pregnancy. That's the part I hate about it. Every single time we ttc, I get all these ips, when I NEVER have before. I never get pms, until AF is actually already here. But noooo.....my body whacks out when we start ttc!!! Ugh!

I was just checking my cm and found a tiny streak of blood. This happened last month and got me so excited because I thought it was implantation bleeding. Now I'm thinking it's a bad sign and is just pre-af spotting, even though she's still 4 days away. It's even happening at the exact same time as last month. :tissue:

I'm still holding out the teeniest bit of hope. My nipples were itchy this morning, and they look a bit darker to me. I'm also getting some pains in them, which has never been an AF symptom for me. I'm just not ready to give up completely yet - I'm only 11dpo and lots of women seem to get a BFP at 12dpo or even later. At the same time, I'm preparing myself mentally for the possibility that I'll be continuing this awful diet for another month.

Yep but I also drank 3 cups of milk with every meal and I ate lots of french soups with evaporated milk in them. So yes not completely fgd you are right but not really low everything either.
