Well still no signs from me. Another BFN yesterday and I've been temping for just over a week now, with no discernible pattern as yet. Fingers crossed I've not lost to much weight to O. I am still on my LE with no brekkie but I am making sure I am having the 25% fat as I wasn't always up to that lower level. I've a really food oriented social weekend approaching and I'd LOVE to be able to just eat what I want so really hope I get a BFP by then!

I am CD 14 and no +Opk as of this morning. Last month I got my pos opk at cd13! Weird. I think this diet is messing with my normally good cycles! ugh!

This is probably a stupid question, but, will you still get a period if you do not ovulate? Or does no ovulation=no period??

My opk's were getting darker Monday and Tuesday, but never positive. Today the test line is much lighter. Had a lot of ewcm today and cramping. Did I ovulate or did my body change it's mind??? Today is cd16.

Yes you can have annovulatory bleeding but it won't be a typical period. If your period was very normal then you likely ovulated.

Tarasue the same thing is going on with me. They were almost positive last week but then started getting lighter and now I am starting to see ewcm. I am almost positive I am going to get my +opk within the next few day. I would keep testing if I were you. From what I read in another thread, atomic says this happens because we can have various lh surges which can cause positive opks at different times in your cycle :)

How many times a day are we supposed to test? I've been doing it twice daily, around 11am and then again before bed. I am using the wondfo strips.

I was so excited yesterday because the opk was getting darker and was sure today would be the day. Now I am getting discouraged that they are getting lighter...

I'm behind on the thread and will catch up later, but in the meantime I have an incredibly rude post and run. Is anyone familiar with indian food? We just got an Indian food restaurant in my city and I have no idea what to order when I go for lunch today . Which is the most LE friendly (I realize they are all cheat meals :)):
Ghobi Aloo (potato & Cauliflower), Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Mixed Veggie Curry, Lentils, or Veggie Biryani. I was hoping some of you UK ladies eat Indian food a lot and might have a good suggestion on what to order. :) Thanks ladies!

You're right, we eat lots of Indian food here! Basically if you avoid the protein-rich veggie options, i.e. lentils, paneer cheese (so saag paneer and malai kofta) you'll keep the protein down. However, you will undoubtedly go over for fat as they cook everything in ghee. I would choose a mixed veg curry and rice, or a veg biriyani, and then have either a bread (naan, chapati, roti) or a potato dish (like ghobi or saag aloo) on the side. Feast time! x

It's yummy! I love making my own using oil sprays so there's hardly any fat in it. I love Mexican and Asian too though. I'm a bit of a foodie really so what I'm eating atm is completely unlike anything I've ever eaten before so hopefully will get us a pink bundle whenever I ovulate! DH is back now so we've a lovely weekend coming up with lots of time together :) On Saturday we'll be having Indian and drinks and on Sunday we've an afternoon tea at a hotel in London, so I will have to be very careful with how much I eat as I would normally just keep asking them for more of everything It's kind of like a posh all you can eat really! x

I am glad to see we are finally getting some BFPs! I am currently BDing every four days and waiting for pos. opk- it seems to be later this month. I am thinking the diet is making things wonky. If I don't get a BFP this month, I am going to get bloodwork done to make sure my hormones are good. My cycles and opks are not consistent.

My Indian food yesterday was fab! They had a vegetarian sampler plate. It had something with cauliflower (it wasn't fried and it was orange? seemed semi-safe, but probably had ghee on it), a little saag paneer, rice, and something cold with carrots, and a chickpea curry thing? It was all so yummy, so I tried to only eat a couple bites of everything. I did eat way too much naan (2 big pieces!) which I know is super fatty, but it was so yummy :) Hopefully my cheat meal at least brings on ovulation !

Today is CD12 for me, hoping I ovulate CD14 or CD15 since I'm leaving CD15 and will be away from DH for a full 5 days. My OPKs seem to be darkening so hopefully that means I get a positive one tomorrow ! I plan on testing on Halloween (around 10-12 dpo) and either drinking or gourging myself with candy depending on the results :)

:hair: Tarasue same here, I saw a good amount of EWCM yesterday and figured it would be darker this morning but still not too dark. I guess me and you are experiencing the same symptoms. :fx: we ovulate soon. This is just getting Ridiculous :nails:

Well AF is due in 2 days... got a bfn yesterday. I still have symptoms but not sure what is going to happen. I am busy today until Tuesday so no time to test our anything. I will be back tuesday to update everyone.

I keep trying to persuade myself that I should have a cheat tonight but then remembering I'm out tomorrow night for Indian (fat-filled) food and on Sunday for the afternoon tea! So have to stick to LE tonight but DH wants good old British Fish & Chips. I will compromise I think. Grill a veggie burger and have a small portion of the chips with it. Come on BFP! Come on Ovulation!

Last time I swayed, LE lengthened my cycles from 29 days longer and longer. The one we conceived DS3 on would have been about 44 days long! DH is now pitching for a Dominos tonight! Argh!

Since being on the le diet it has brought my ovulation forward to day 14! But following my chemical pg last month I didn't ovulate til day 23 this month!!!!! So AF is 2 days late but as I am only 7dpo a test would be negative. Tomorrow is one of my best friends weddings. I am so annoyed that I won't know whether I'm pregnant or not as if I am I don't want to drink...despite everyone telling me I should. I will test in the morning so wish me luck!

I normally fade in so was pretty confident but they faded to nothing and now I'm worried I missed it. DH thinks this is very unlikely given the amounting of testing I do ; ) It's so frustrating! Ladies, try testing when you first wake up if you think O is near. I have had several +OPK'S first thing in the morning. I do a lot of night shifts which might have a lot to do with it. It's worth a try though.

I have an appointment with an RE in 10 days to check things out. My cycles have been so crazy! Until then, we will BD every four days, just in case. I just ordered another batch of wondfo strips. We'll see.

Yogi - I have had OPKs that look just like that for FOUR DAYS now. I'm going nuts! Glad I'm not the only one, hopefully we both get a true positive tomorrow morning!

I've been testing 3x a day (I'm so scared to miss my window this month!) and still nothing. I normally get literally 2 full days of VERY dark positives so it's hard to believe I missed it (I normally get quite a bit of cramping on O day as well). Today is the 4th day on our every 4 days schedule but because I'm leaving town I hate to DTD today and then get a positive tomorrow or Monday (or even say Tuesday after I'm gone), so I'd rather put off our last attempt until as close to ovulation as possible. Very frustrating!

Also I'm on the fence on eating pizza (vegetarian within LE limits) or a vegetable broth soup tonight. My delusional crazy martha self is worried I will finally get a positive OPK and I will conceive a boy and it will all be because of the pizza tonight. My sensible self is worried I'm not ovulating because of the stress and weight loss. TTC while swaying is so annoying!!

Feel torn between just plodding on patiently and increasing my fat intake until I get my first period, then going back onto LE fully then. But I think the latter may make the body think blue thoughts!

weezie - That's so frustrating! I especially feel for you because you've been down this road before. Maybe if your cycle doesn't return this month taking November off will help and then you can go right back to LE after a break and still sway pink.

I'm worried weight loss is affecting my cycle as well. I'm still not really that thin (19.9 BMI), so I'm hoping that's still plenty high enough to ovulate.

I've always had AF return really early while BFing, so I can't relate there, but even though I had AF I wasn't fertile and that was frustrating, too. If you're willing to take a month off, do it. If you're not ovulating, there's no point in swaying. I really hope AF shows quickly for you, but be careful because you will probably ovulate first ;)

I'm 4dpo and will start testing at 8dpo... 9dpo if I can hold out. I'm trying to stay busy and have mostly succeeded this weekend because we were moving furniture around and rearranging rooms. My kids have also had a stomach bug that started with DH last Monday (right before my +opk!), then the toddler Wednesday night, and the older boys both woke up sick in the wee hours of Saturday morning. I'm the only one who hasn't had it... yet. :fingersx: I keep chanting in my head: sickness sways pink, sickness sways pink. ;)
I'm already obsessing over names and I need to stop, because I'm going to be absolutely gutted if I see a BFN - it's only our first cycle, so I'm not expecting it to happen so fast.

I had a cheat day yesterday and woke up to a positive OPK this morning! I had veggie fajitas for lunch (too many tortilla chips) and 2 slices of veggie pizza for dinner. I got my OPK a full 2 days later than normal so I think I had to do something to bring on ovulation. Hopefully my cheats didn't de-rail freaking SEVEN months on the diet . Off to do a 6 mile run this morning and BD before I leave for my trip!

Maybe the cheat day brought on O for you BlueBonnet. I'm assuming the my severe LE for six months has kept O from coming. So if we're not PG by the end of this month, I'm taking a slight break for two months, and hoping that relaxing on LE a bit brings on O for me. We can't get our DG with no O!

I had a wonderful cheat day yesterday :) DH and I went to a hotel on Park Lane in London and had afternoon tea. I had the veggie sandwiches and then the cucpcakes without the icing, but I ate all of the scones (no cream) and petit fours. DH bought me a glass of champagne too! It was a sunny day so we wandered around London and the parks. My feet hurt afterwards but it was lovely. After we got home and put the kids to bed (they'd been with Grandma) we had a Chinese takeaway and a bottle of Cava. I had mini veg spring rolls, veg curry and steamed rice, so as LE friendly as possible, but I ate lots! Really special and fun day :)

I have had spotting that has increased a lot over the past three days. 😢 On the bright side, I have an appointment with an RE in eight days to check and see if everything is working properly. I just may be one of the unlucky ones that can't get pregnant while nursing a 16mo old! I am keeping my FX for you!!

Yay I finally got a pos OPK on cd 17 this past Saturday... we did our one attempt (After a 7 day abstain) right after DH got back from a gig.. he's a drummer and wore his boxer briefs during the gig so hopefully that helped! I think (hope) i'm Ovulating today so fingers crossed I get a neg opk tonight and can start my 2ww!

Hi everyone! CD 25 here, almost 26. I'm anywhere between 6-11dpo. (the joy of not knowing when you ovulate). Anyway, I just had the strangest thing happen to me. I'm trying not to symptom spot this cycle but this I couldn't ignore.

A man rents out our basement. We have an upstairs, downstairs, and basement. OH is out this evening so I was watching some Netflix in our room upstairs. I heard the man come home and go down to his basement. About 3-4 minutes after I started smelling fried chicken. I thought it was just a strange smell that drifted in from outside (my window is open) but I couldn't stop smelling it so I went downstairs to see if perhaps he had left fried chicken in the kitchen. Nothing! I even opened the fridge... so now I was really curious. I went outside and stood out in our yard but didn't smell anything so I came back in and suddenly not only was I smelling fried chicken again but I was also smelling pot! I went down and knocked on his basement door and asked him to humor me. I asked if he had been smoking pot and he said yes a few hours ago, and I said ok and by chance are you eating fried chicken and he laughed and said he also had some before he came home!!! I just ran upstairs to tell you guys because that is insane!

I had felt really dizzy earlier in the day so around 2pm I took a cheap dollar store test but it was negative. So what do you ladies think? Symptom or weird coincidence? Atomic always says if you have true pg symptoms then it will show positive on a hpt but this is just bizarre.

Crazy TigerLily! 😄 My girlfriends early pregnant symptoms were sensitivity to smells. I know symptoms can vary with each pregnancy. You will know in a few days, either you will get a BFP, more symptoms or both!

I swear I am so exhausted from this horrible month. The only positive is that I got in all of my attempts in. I was bding without protection every other day and I bd early morning & night following the afternoon of what I believe was my +opk and one bd the night after. I am soooo done and I haven't bd this much since I was in high school with the dh:p. I can't believe we did it but we did and I feel more accomplished this month as far as bd'ing goes but bummed with this stupid cycle. Now the waiting begins. Tigerlily I have the sense of smell thing going to. It's funny I was in the kitchen with two of my boys and I smelled something nasty and asked if either of them pasted gas. They said no. Then one of my twins comes out from the living room laughing away saying he farted and gaged his brother. The joy of having boys.LOL

If it makes you feel any better those cheap tests don't work for me. I use the first response it's worth the extra money.

Don't think so. I have held my pee soo much sometimes I thought I was going to get a UTI lol. From my previous months using my monitor and cheapy opks it always gave me a positive on the cheapies the day or night before. I think the monitor was able to catch the last of my surge. I checked my cm and its now creamy so I know its the last of it. Thank-you for your thoughtful wishes and I hope this is your month too!

I'm 12dpo and 6 days late. I did a fmu this morning and bfn. This was from this afternoon. I'm worried it might just be another chemical as I thought it would be darker at 12 days. Not getting my hopes up. Also, my chart doesn't look very convincing. I'll obviously test again in the morning but a faint line is better than no line. Fingers crossed!

Jumping in for the 2ww. Only our second month of trying, a few months more on the diet. I just want to be pregnant so I can quit obsessing! Late O here too. I normally get a big temp dip 24 hrs after + opk but the + was late (Sun) and I don't think I had O until yesterday as I've only just had a reasonable rise in temp this morning. Hi Ladies!!

Just slowly loosing my mind :worry:

I just SOOO want a BFP. I have had 2 mc's back to back and so if I was, it would be the third conception in a row and therefore, I dont think its statistically likely if there is a 20% chance of PG every month....

I feel so pregnant but dont know if I am making it up... I have TOTALLY different symptoms this month (beyond exhaustion, really hungry and teary) last +hpt, I was thirsty, aching boobs and slightly nauseous.

11DPO and BFN.... Got all my last +hpt (3) at 10 DPO...

I still would be shocked it is a BFN because I just feel 'off' but also anticipating days ahead of BFN...

Has anyone else had TOTALLY different symptoms... do I even have a chance?

BFN for me today, too. My cheapies arrived this afternoon so I've been wasting them quite happily. And I was okay with BFNs, because I'm only 8dpo. But then I just got news from a friend just now. Her surprise 4th baby, after a girl and two boys, is another girl. And I'm SO happy for her but I want that for me SO SO badly. And then I cried. I really thought I was okay with another boy... and I think I am, but that doesn't take away this huge gaping hole. I know you all understand, regardless of your DG. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

It's not the BFNs that bother me, because it is SO early. It's just the fear that I have one more pregnancy, therefore one more chance for a daughter. I didn't realize how much I still fear never having a daughter. I never had a good relationship with my own mother, and while I know for most of my friends with the same issue, it has turned them off ever wanting a daughter, for me it's had the opposite effect and made me want one even more!

Bee- I would wait to test closer to when you expect AF to come. With DS2, I could not get a positive hpt until I missed AF, even though I was having a ton of symptoms.

I'm cd29, last cycle was 33 days long, and tested today with a FRER. Bfn. I've felt like crying about it all day. I don't have any symptoms. I don't even have AF symptoms. The thought of trying another month and all the waiting that goes with this is devastating to me. Waiting for AF, waiting to O, waiting to test, then bfn and waiting for AF again. I hate it.

I hate knowing that I tried as hard as I possibly could have this month and it still didn't work makes me feel like a failure. Like not a single day went by without sperm up there waiting for an egg, there was always fresh sperm :(

I know it's only my second cycle trying and a lot of people take longer to conceive so I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I just felt like this should have been easy for us. We're in our early twenties, not even 25 yet. The women in my family pop out babies all the time on accident, twins even! Yet, I can't seem to have one on purpose.

My bfn today broke my heart.

Im so sorry Tiger. Even though i have kids already when i didn't get pregnant last month i was in disbelief and absolutely gutted. It is so hard to want something so badly and not get it. Dont feel selfish for thinking it shouldn't take you long...your fertility is yours and yours alone, it doesn't matter what anyone else has...it is yours that matters...yours that has the power to make or break the situation and you have every right to assume you are.young and healthy. It is a positive outlook to have. However don't get discouraged...give it time. Most couples conceive within 6 months...younger couples are more in the 3 month range so i bet next month is your time! If you are having sex everyday you might want to stop...it makes for unhealthy sperm. Keep it to every few days and then 2 to 3 attempts in your window.

Don't beat your self up tiger lily. I know that when you want something so very bad and do everything in your power to achieve that thing and still be deprived of it, it really hurts and you feel so defeated. Try to stay optimistic, your not out until Af shows up. Keep your chin up and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day:).

The waiting game stinks. When ttc, you live your life waiting in two week interval (or three week intervals for some of us)

Thank you girls so much, your support means a lot! The waiting is the worst because I stay at home so my days feel so long and it can get really lonely. I take classes at the community college but still at least if I knew there was a baby on the way I could start doing so much more and it would give me something to look forward to.

Hugs, TigerLily. The thing that helped me when we tried 15mths for DS2 was to remember even if everything is perfectly aligned, we still only had a 20% chance of conception each cycle. How many dpo are you? Are you temping/charting? Fingers crossed that it's just too early for you, hon.


AFM, my temp jumped this morning, so I got my hopes up. BFN! But, I'm only 9dpo, so it's all good. Until this afternoon I checked my cervix and I've started spotting. Looks like the reddish side of pink, so I think I'm out this cycle.

Tiger dont feel bad for having the feelings you have. We are here to listen and you can vent when ever as many times as you want. Don't give up and keep trying. I felt the same way 9 months ago and im still here. Use this cycle as a trial cycle and to see what you can do to boost your chances for next month. Good luck and sending you big squishy hugs.

I finally have confirmed O and am only 3dpo not the 8dpo FF thought. Definitely feeling calmer now. I was a complete bitch at work yesterday to those I manage, like really bad PMS which I haven't suffered from since a teen. Will be sending apologetic emails and chocolate today and feel rather ashamed! I'm on a trip for a week now too so can't even apologise face to face. I need to get a grip! I can't behave like that every month O is a few days late! Don't think it's any kind of symptom just think I was super stressed out.

Those of you with more experience, should I expect AF a few days late if I Od late? I am trying not to get my hopes up unnecessarily. AF should be due next weekend and there seems little point testing any early because I'd be less than 10dpo but we will see if I can manage to stick to that...

Boysway its a little over 4:50pm ish on Saturday here in California. My opk should not be close to positive at 5dpo. Maybe its a second surge. My last positive was very similar. My positives have never ever been darker than the control line.

Hi ladies, sorry for all the BFNs around here! Yogi - I'm also 5 dpo, waiting until Halloween to test (unless my willpower gives out...).

I waiver daily between hoping this is a BFP and praying it isn't. I feel like I ruined this cycle. I was fantastic on the exercise, but I lost 5.5 lbs in the first 7 days of my cycle. My ovulation got delayed and I was in a bit of a time crunch because I was leaving town around ovulation without DH. I ate in the upper limits of LE and gained ~1-1.25 lbs back right around ovulation. I feel certain this is a boy if I am pregnant! Sometimes I'm in a good mood and feel happy that I might be pregnant and don't care that this is probably a boy. Other times I'm so sad I'll never have a DD. I told DH today I will probably cry either way this month - I will be sad to be pregnant (because I've lost confidence in my sway) or sad to not be pregnant (because I'm SO ready to be pregnant). I'm nearly certain we will take a break after this month because I can't handle it anymore! Halloween can't come soon enough. I'm just ready to know!

I feel you. Somedays I feel as if I did not care and others I do. I don't think you gaining a few pounds should affect your sway.

I am a tad bit optimistic in some ways with my sway. My hunny bunny was very Supportive this month. I told him when I got my positive opks & he was very ready to jump in the mix.The only bummer is that we bd every other day since last day of AF and at positive opk we bd 4 times. I hope that by bding earlier I didn't make it a pink sway but we will see. We have prayed hard for a positive so we will see what the future holds for us. I am just super happy that my dh is more involved than a few months back where I couldn't get him to bd at all in the fertile window. Good luck blue! I think your sway is more promising than mine. You have a very great chance for pink if you get a bfp. Now off to some Halloween Partys tonight. I need to get my mind off of ttc lol.

Omgosh yes a big bowl! Mostly cramps since ovulation on and off all day, my boobs feel heavy and sore, tmi very gassy lol a little nausea but no not much :/

Hungry, but when I eat I'm all of a sudden nauseated. Penny taste in my mouth. These all come and go, nothing has been constant. My bbs were leaking a little too?? My teeth hurt(is that a pregnancy symptom, I don't know , but they hurt??)

I really think I am thinking myself into having all these symptoms. I need to get a hobby or something so I am not constantly focused on it:/

I'm 11dpo and I've been spotting in small amounts the past 3 days, but my temp is still above the CL and I just wish AF would show (or I'd get a BFP!) because this is torture. I think it's bothering me so much because this was my one shot to ttc until next May/June (if DH is still on board). I'm ready to move on in either direction. I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant, but I keep POAS because I can't help myself. Hurry up, AF, because I've spent enough money today as it is! ;) Our tv broke this morning (it was 8 years old, but still, we weren't planning to replace it until tax time) and I just got some other quite disappointing news, so I'm doing my best not to succumb to a bad mood this evening. The no AF thing is just making it worse. I guess I should go look into the personalized sways for next year. ;)

You definitely sound like you may be pregnant:):) Mine were leaking colostrum a few months back had my levels checked and they came back normal I am going for a sonoon them today because im still leaking but now milk, i think its from all the changes of diet ans stress for me.
Hopefully its all BFPs for us soon!

Hang in there bee! Why is this your one chance until next summer?? I am giving myself until January, if no Bfp by then, no baby #3 for me.... I already have two winter babies, so I want to stay away from getting preggo feb- June. After then I really feel like I'm pushing the clock, as I would be 37..... It's now or never!!

I think I am imaginating symptoms but I have been feeling little things here and there. Small sharp pains in my boobies, and cramping several times through out the day. I have been testing every day but I don't trust my wondfos anymore. I think I am getting a lot of false positives. Almost all have a faint line on the HPTs.

Af should have started today, so I tested with a wondfo. Negative if course, I knew it would be. I think I see a hint of a line, but I'm sure it's an evap. Since I O'd so late I think I'm only 5dpo, so there's no way it would be positive just yet. I went ahead and tested just because when I started this cycle I promised I would wait until today to test.

Kinda feeling like this isn't going to be my month, it sucks.
