Woke up to a very excited phonecall from my mil to tell me that her precious daughter had just produced the first granddaughter. I had been trying to build myself up to the fact she probably would but this morning I'm just feeling shit and feel like I cant be happy for them even though I should be even my dj is threading easy around me. I just want to cry and dont want to face anybody. I have 3 ds and I'm trying one more time later this year but I just know I'll have another ds even with the best sway there is. I would really love a dd. I feel like a stupid jealous child any advice on how to deal with this

OH how I relate.... DH and I both have many siblings each. DH and I both have a lot of younger siblings so we started having kids before most of our siblings.

I remember how hard it was each time I heard that a SIL had a boy after girls or a girl after boys. In DH family anyone who has boys is worshiped, its a bit sickening. For many years we were the only family out of DH siblings who hadn't had a boy and MIL was nice enough to remind me of that every.single.time I saw her. About a year ago DH finally told her to shut up about the boy thing...how lame.

I have multiple SILs from both my family and DH family who ordered BBGG or GGBB and got it. Or one ordered GGGB and got that. Must be nice to order it up so easily.

So annoying, so frustrating. I recommend "unfollowing' those people on FB and avoiding them if you can.

A positive outlook can't hurt, might help. I have been on gender swaying websites for over 7 years and the results Atomic is getting with her theories are quite astounding. My due date group has some AMAZING statistics. I think anyone who follows Atomic's advice has much better than a 50/50 chance at getting their desired gender. Almost all of us who swayed for a boy in 2014 got boys.....and the girl statistics are climbing too.

Give it all you've got and focus. I have noticed that many successful girl sways have 12+ weeks on the diet and cardio exercise, along with diet & supplement factors. After having 3 girls I really believe in Atomic's girl sway methods because it pretty much describes how I got 3 girls!!!

Irishgirl - Like Adia, I totally get how you feel. Huge sympathy to you. Jealousy is so, so painful.

I think Adia is absolutely right - I got my daughter by unintentionally doing EXACTLY what Atomic advises for a pink sway. Fight! We all have to fight! (Only I think you're not meant to feel too aggressive for a pink sway...) If you really, really do all the cardio and the calorie counting (howI would LOVE to do that rather than the boy sway I'm doing ) then you have a (gentle, pink) fighting chance.

Really understand how you're feeling.

Oh my gosh :( How heartbreaking. I'm sorry for your family and the sadness you will endure because of the loss of the baby. Don't feel guilty for your reaction, it's a normal one. Sometimes sad things happen. I'm sure your SIL will need your support.
