I had just posted in the other group that I'm 7dpo and today I have been extremely nauseated. I ate my lunch and continued dry heaving, gagging and burping for a few hours afterwards. I'm also insanely fatigued. Is that even possible??
Maybe I have a virus? Idk. I'm at the grocery store now and just fee really blah.

5dpo (I think) and time is crawling. My chart looks crazy this month but I've had a ton of restless nights and at least 2 or 3 times a week DS1 is crawling into our bed between 3-4am. I'm now basing o off of the positive opk and temp rise, even though it doesn't seem too likely I actually did based on the low/normal temps I'm still having.

I've fallen off the LE wagon pretty badly since DS's birthday. I estimated I did around 3k calories Sunday, went way over on protein yesterday and just ate bad, and today I'm wanting to snack all day. I need to get more strict in the likely case I don't get my bfp this cycle.

I have been trying to stick to my light LE diet because I want to go into next cycle really well if it will be the clomid one. Even if the dr doesn't give me clomid straight away I have a friend who has found her leftover clomid so I could get them (it would have been nice if she found them a cycle ago so I didn't waste my time with the usless soy isoflavones)

I'm 1dpo (woohoo!) and due to start on 10/31 which could be depressing.

I've also fallen off the diet wagon and have not eating enough protein. I've always been a snacker and have girls. I just snacked on small foods and sometimes not very nutritious stuff (popcorn, chemical filled protein bars, tortilla chips)

Not sure Pbn as I'm questioning O date plus also since coming off the pill my body is still sorting itself out - I know LP is meant to be around same length but coming off OCP last few month my LP has ranged from 9-13 days so it's a bit of a waiting game. I'm just not feeling it though - no real symptoms and my chart does look good if O day correct but I don't trust how a chart looks as I have had a triphasic chart before and bfn

What happens if you discard the temp on cd17? You have definitely ovulated this cycle but it is a bit confusing.

Taking CD17 out doesn't change it for me. If I change into research mode it gives me CD19 as O day, or if I leave it as advanced but remove the EW it gives me CD21! So yeah a bit confusing lol.

Haha, me too pbn! I have NO libido anymore! I was actually just thinking this last night. Its funny cause we would have dtd regularly when not ttc and I would have "helped myself" fairly regularly. But now I don't even want to do that! I'm presuming its the diet in effect and has lowered my T? DH still has the libido of an I-don't-know-what!! He would get up on the crack of a wall!!!!!!

PART TWO!!! This is hilarious! I was wondering where all the notifications had gone to yesterday lol. Been kept busy with my boys, both of them have croup now. DS1 is on the mend and bursting to go back to preschool as they have their Halloween costume party this Friday lol. DS2 slept great last night but I was on edge listening to him bark-coughing all night. Sickness always hits this house when I have plans! I think my mom is going to take DS1 on Saturday night and DH will mind DS2 so I can go on my rare night out on Saturday.

So just waiting on AF to rear her head either today or tomorrow. Heavy AF type feeling in my tummy so she's not far off. Roll on AF so I can at least be CD1 lol. I'll hang around here for a bit though girls, if thats ok? I'd love to see this thread finish up with a couple more BFPs.
If I get AF either today or tomorrow I will be gearing up to O at the start of Nov and possibly due to test around DHs 34th birthday. Shall just be having the one attempt at +opk this cycle. e4d just isn't working for us. I wanted to switch DH to OLE as he has confessed he hasn't taken cranberry in about a fortnight but can't seem to get any here!!! So annoyed! Hopefully I will come across it soon as I want him taking it asap!!

Have a frequency question girls - if we are going with one attempt at +opk, how often should DH be releasing before that attempt? He's almost 34.

Mammacass hoping you aren't out. Your chart looks a bit crazy, even to my untrained eye, so perhaps you Oed later than you thought?

Hopper I have my dh release every 3-4 days in lead up to o. Because I use the digitals I know I have at least 2 days of flashing smileys so I normally have him release at the first one then hold off so we have fresh new swimmers for our attempt :) the aim I believe is to release every 2-4 days

Edited to add dh is abit of a fossil at 44 [emoji23] so not sure if the same would apply to your dh :)

Interesting what you say about the Vitex affecting the OPKs, I'm pretty sure I owe it to Vitex for ovulating so early this cycle so am a little reluctant to give it up, and I was thinking I would definitely try OPKs this next cycle!

As for me I got my solid smiley this morning of course. Hard to get excited when I don't even know if we'll get a bd in. Going to try and time ds2 nap today so hopefully he'll have another this afternoon (hahaha) and hope that ds1 will stay in his room with a movie and munchies long enough for me to wake up dh who didn't get home till 7am after working all night. Then fx dh will be able to perform and ds1 won't come out of his room every 5 minutes yelling 'mummy! Where are you!'. Oh well will have to just wait and see.....

Are you 8dpo? I think we are the same dpo except I'm ahead in time so it is 9dpo morning for me.

I will confess that I tested with an IC and it was a bfn of course. I knew it would be because they don't come up with anything for ages.
I'm considering buying a 7 pack of frers today but worried someone might see me in my lunchbreak, although the chemist I would go to sn't even that close to work anyway so the chances of someone else being there at the same time is small.

Poptart its my 1st time temping but ive been on nights so ive just taken it when i got home. I did have a temp of 36.1 yesterday after a nap and i plan on taking it after a nap today aswell. I'll adjust it later and see how it looks and ill likely use the post nap temps 😀

I ask the same question about why I have issues with conceiving. We are both pretty healthy people too and I have friends who have way less healthy lifestyles and conceive so easily and have never had miscarriages either.
I try not to do too much 'why me' thinking but somedays I can't help it.

Well I'm super relieved as just got our attempt in. Still cant believe it! It's a morning attempt but I'm just so happy to have it done and not have to worry if its going to happen. I had to leave the room straight after though and didn't want to stand up and lose any swimmers so I crawled off the bed and around to the lounge to put my hips up [emoji23] I was trying so hard not to laugh at how ludicrous it must have looked to see a 37 year old woman crawling and saying 'ouch my knees!' All I needed then was for ds1 to see me lol I could just picture the confused look he would have had on his face!

Lauren, I know how you feel about the possible bfn. I have had a feeling this was my month but I don't know if it is just stupid optimism and hope making me feel that way. Anyway, I think it is just going to make it harder if it doesn't happem. Hopefully we can both get bfps!

Yeah, I have a friend who reminds me she focuses on what she has and not what she doesn't. That's hard for me because I get my mind stuck on something and can't stop thinking about it!! I hope it's your month. Month after month of bfn is hard to take.

Welcome luvmyfam! I swayed girl, but no exercise as I can't seem to keep my weight on with LE. I think you're supposed to keep up with it though, just like diet, in case you don't get a bfp this cycle.

Hi luvmyfam! Another girl swayer here :) I don't follow the excersive part of the sway because I can't fit in 60 mins a day in one go but I'm not couch potato either as I ride 20mins to work and back 5 days a week. Its a bit boy friendly but I don't want to stop as it helps my mental health too much.

Hi luv- I do the exercise in the girl sway. After 8 months it's been tough but you are supposed to stay with it. I had my attempt 10 days ago and haven't been since :/ I feel bad about t but my body was just tired! Good luck!

Hi Gals. I'm just jumping in here quickly to ask a question (will read back through the new thread once I have done the afternoon school pick up routine)
I had an attempt on Mon evening (thinking I would ovulate yesterday). Had blood work this morning and I am actually surging now due to ovulate tomorrow (fri). My FS said to BD tonight - BUT - I'm swaying girl, would this be 2 attempts?
I'm thinking that Monday's attempt will be too far away when I ovulate tomorrow??
Any advice in the next couple of hours would be much appreciated! :wink:

Immi I would definately bd tonight - if you stick to e4d you'll end up with a o-4 and day of o attempts both I wouldn't personally find appealing. If you bd tonight it "technically" is two attempts but better o-4 and day before o attempts then the former in my opinion. I just dont think mondays bd will count for much if your oing on friday.

Still waiting on AF here, seems like my smiley opk was a bit off and our attempt was o-3, not o-1 like I initially thought. Got +opk on cd14, dtd 9 hours prior on cd13 but with a LP of 13 days on previous cycles it would put O at cd16. Storing all info for next month ;) AF should be here in about an hour or two if its gonna be like last month. Went completely off LE on Sunday evening, was off it all day Monday and Tuesday but got back on the wagon for the most part yesterday. Am gearing myself up for a takeout tonight but have saved my calories to be able to include it - I like to spoil myself on cd1 ;)

Hmmm...I guess exercise is good if you have no trouble getting pregnant. I've just had a lot of trouble in the past two years. With my first, I got pregnant fast but was in grad school and had no time to work out. I think I was doing light exercise with my mc. I don't envy you pink swayers and your 60 minutes of exercise!! You are dedicated. Although, I think I'm dedicated for forcing myself to lift weights and eat a lot of protein and red meat, haha.

Pbn the three cycles since coming off OCP have been O on 30,30,34! This cycle it's telling me CD15. I am bleeding though it's just weird with temps. With DS1 I had a normal period and therefore didn't even realise I was pregnant (wasn't charting and bit naive to whole thing lol) which is why I have tested again but nope. Maybe tomorrow my temp will drop. More waiting lol. I have ordered some cheapie OPKs to try this cycle so will see how that goes [emoji4]

Do they say one step pregnancy test? I have some of those and they only give a faint line for me several days after a frer pos. I used some 8 and 9dpo this cycle still just to keep me from using my good tests.

Just checked and thats what they're called purple. I could even be closer to 6dpo rather than the 7. although O was classed as last Friday i don't think i O til the night likely even early Saturday morning. But i will test on Sunday and i might try a pregnosis clear and i can at least use fmu. 😃

I've got three frer tests that will be here Saturday, tomorrow needs to fly by. I tested bfn with a cheapie strip this morning at 7dpo, haha. I figure if AF isn't here by Sunday morning I'll do a frer and then see what happens. If my short lut phase holds true, she should be here Saturday though, but I'm not seeing any signs yet.

So I'm sure I oed sometime this morning after temp taken at 5am. By mid morning my cm had already started to change and by this afternoon was definately post o :) so hoping my attempt was just shy of 24 hours b4 o. Just waiting for morning temp rise to confirm. At the risk of sounding slightly nutty [emoji12] I happened to look up at the moon last night while taking out the rubbish and it had an awesome huge halo ring around it and was shining so brightly! only ever seen a ring during full moon before (last nights was waxing gibbous) so I'm taking it as a sign of good things to come lol!!

Sooo my chart has me down as 3dpo today? On CD13 saying I ovulated that same day as the positive OPK? Looking back I remember distinctive O pain on my right side but I thought it was just my mind playing tricks as I was convinced the vitex had given me the result. Yeah I'm pretty lucky in that sense. Rarely see ewcm nowadays but definate shift from watery pre o to creamy lotion type post o has been very consistent :)

I went back through my calendar and counted I've been on le diet for 31 weeks yesterday! BUT the last 3 cycles 2ww I never monitored nutritional intake which I would've gone over in as I was having meat during those days. Still stuck to 2 meals and skipped brekky though :) Tonights dinner is chicken, cheese and avacado toasties! Yes that might be true. If you are having problems getting pregnant then I don't know. How much do you exercise? Do you lift weights and do cardio aswell?

I'm kind of used to doing cardio now. I do it 60minx6 a week and have been doing it since end of July. I normally enjoy cardio too and I love running so I couldn't go couch potato. But sometimes I feel tired to do it this often but it's ok :) But you are dedicated aswell lifting weights and eating all the protein!

Edit. Just read essnce answer to the exercise question after I had replied to you Quinn. But that makes sense. I hope my intense cardio doesn't work against me...

Dpike, if you ovulate in the next day or so, I think wednesday's attempt is enough. If you're doing the every 4 days method, then your next attempt wouldn't be until sunday. This baby I just lost was conceived from DTD once three days before O! So it is possible to DTD wednesday, ovulate saturday and still get pregnant. Good luck!

Well, the attempts are in and DH and I are officially knackered! Hoping to see a nice temp rise in the morning to confirm ovulation today. I'm feeling absolutely awful today - have never felt anything at all when ovulating, but today I feel really crampy and very nauseous - does anyone else get this? Frustrated by my cm this month too, had lots of ewcm about 5 days ago but it completely dried up before I got my positive opk? Very strange :shrug: Guess this is more crazy post-m/c hormonal stuff.

Lauren sorry about your BFN. Im not sure these stories are helping at all but I was sure I was out with DS2 when I didn't have a BFP by 14 dpo because I had my bfp at 9 dpo wroth ds 1. I didn't end up getting my bfp until my gyn tested my urine in the office at 16 dpo. I was using frer both times. Really, really hoping you will still get yours this month!

Still nothing hun! I am perplexed!!! Took another FRER and an IC just to check and both stark white BFNs. Should I triple check with another branded test tomorrow do you think? I have my oh so rare and looked forward to night out and its starting off with wine and nibbled in one of the other mothers houses (it's a mother and baby group night out minus the babies lol) I feel silly not having a drink when I would bet anything I'm not pregnant and it was just the Clear Blue smiley was a dud opk. I feel AF cramps, and that heavy feeling like she's almost here but have felt like that since Tuesday - it's Friday PM now!

It IS bizarre isn't it! I mean, it's not just me thinking it right? I just want her to appear if she's going to appear, I swear I never wanted to see her so bad! I don't feel like I could be pregnant, if it was going to show up surely it would have by now! I have no symptoms other than the AF heaviness and BBs are a little tender but they have been like that the past two cycles before AF so that's nothing new. Obviously if I ended up actually being pregnant it would be fantastic but I am seriously hating all this waiting around. I don't think I will use the CB smiley opks next month, the IC opks all the way. At least I can see the progression with them rather than BAM solid smiley out of the blue!

Sorry you're feeling down Lauren. 10dpo is still early. My best friend never gets a BFP on 10dpo, only after that. FX for you still!

FF has me at 3dpo, but I'm for sure only 1dpo. I'm sure it will correct itself after 2 more days of temps.

Ff has put crosshairs for me this morning making it 3dpo but I know I ovulated yesterday due to blood work - making me 1dpo too.. I have been adjusting the temps this morning to get rid of the crosshairs but now I can't remember what the original temps were! Lol! I should of left it until a few more days of temps too.

I was half awake but laying still this morning for about 30mins before taking temp (was waiting for hubby to get out of bed before I temped as the silly thing beeps and I am doing it 'stealth' style :wink: ) Would that affect temps at all do you think?

Hi! I'm new to the 2ww, this is a busy thread!! Not quite there yet, am on CD14 and no postitive opk yet. Have been preparing for girl sway since mid July, this will be our first attempt. Am getting quite nervous now, it's such a build up! Last month was my first successful month of tracking my cycle and got positive on day 16, but I have long irregular cycles. Kind of expecting day 16 again which pretty much coincides with a full moon �� But never mind!

Can someone tell me does dpo mean days post positive opk? Sorry, still quite new to all this terminology!

Is a high temp rise initially a good thing?

I went to my dr after three months and said I wanted clomid. I start next month because it was too late and cycle for her to start it. They did not give me a hard time at all thankfully. Hopefully they will give you a hard time either

AFM I realised something last night girls - don't know if any of you remember that last month my friends mom drew some tarot cards for me (I didn't ask her to, my friend asked her as she felt I needed a pick me up when AF arrived early) and they told her that I would be due next August. It repeatedly showed her a due date around my fathers birthday (she had zero idea that his birthday is August 1st) but that I would give birth to my daughter (who had already chosen me!) in July.
Now going on my cycles at the time when she drew the cards my EDD for August would have been the end of August or end of July so it made no sense. I was so positive at the time that I'd be successful in October anyway!
So last night I was messing with an app on my tab (a fertility/future due dates one) and put in my LMP date as today (Oct 24th) and the length of cycle as 30 days which would be the length of this current cycle if AF came today. It came up as an EDD of.....you guessed it - August 1st!
I do usually take these things with more than a pinch of salt but it did put a smile on my face when I realised my cycle lined up to match what she predicts may happen.

Ive never used the frer digi. Like I said I didn't get my BFP with DS2 until 16 dpo. I definitely don't think that's common but even if you get a negative tomorrow you are still not out.

Should I be concerned my cover line is so much higher than my pre-O temps? I feel like that will be difficult to maintain. I'm temping this month to see if my progesterone drops early which could be why I've had trouble conceiving.

Quinn your chart looks fine! See how it continues through your luteal phase. I reckon my progesterone is low as my temp drops after 8dpo but atomic reckons that's normal. However im having day 21 blood tests this month but I ovulated on 10th not the 14th so it's not gonna be accurate!? Oh well! I will take clomid again next month, I held off this month as I wanted my blood work doing but so far it's so good! X

Oh & hopper ive had a similar experience.. Ive been wearing a rose quartz fertility anklet and the saying goes that when it breaks your wish will come true.. And mine broke as AF started this month so I can't help but feel optimistic!! FX there's some truth in our mad estimations [emoji23][emoji23] x

I went on a different day than day 21 for mine because I ovulated early. I was happier to know the results were more accurate.

But I also don't know how much it matters. Maybe call your dr and ask.

Netti- what time zone are you in? Just curious how soon you'll be testing. I'm about 12 hours away from my first "real" test this cycle. I've had bfn's on cheapie tests for three days, but this morning was either a case of line eyes or a super major squinter, but I couldn't get a photo with my phone. My frer tests came in though so I'll do one tomorrow morning when I wake up. It would be so nice to have a bfp, my house is full of Halloween candies from my boys and I want to eat it all!!! I hope you get your bfp too :)

My cervix is still high, firm, and closed, which I think is a good sign since it either means my lut phase is lengthening or it means I'm pg. I've had twinge cramps at night for a few days but nothing too bad.

Netti and has2gentleman: what day are you planning to test? I'm on 11dpo today. I was planning to wait until 13dpo because I hate the potentially false negatives and waiting. I fluctuate between being hopeful about a bfp and preparing myself for a bfn. I had 2 fleeting feelings the last few days that are SOOO weird, but would be too soon to really have, even if I am pregnant. ON Wednesday, I was working late, and as I stood up to get ready to go home, I felt (for a second) like my breasts were really full as if I hadn't nursed or pumped in many hours. I almost reflexive felt them. But I weaned my son in June, and I haven't had any of these sensations even before that. Then, yesterday at work, I had a brief feeling of nausea when talking to someone about something on her neck. And I NEVER get nauseated unless in the car. I was really nauseated with my DS1, but that didn't start until I was 8 weeks pregnant. I'm hoping these might be good signs. But then I also have periods where I think I'm PMS-ing. Sigh.

This is the difficulty of the 2WW.

Bertie- I'm 10dpo tomorrow and I'll probably test. My lp is usually only 9 days, so I'm pretty hopeful that I haven't seen any signs of af. I'm prepared for a negative, since it's super early, but a positive would be great too so the waiting can be over.

I had the "need to nurse" feeling earlier today, too! I dried up in July 2 years ago though and it was on my underproducing side anyway, so it was really weird. But it was distinctively a let-down twinge. And I've been nauseous the past two nights which is also strange for me.

Yep you are right about the time pbn although its now almost 2pm.

I am 9dpo today based on O. But i think it was a little longer for me than 24hrs post +opk that my body actually released the egg.

PBN there's not a lot you can do now! People do a lot worse! Both times with my boys ive been blind drunk the weekend before finding out I was pregnant! I felt awful but If you don't know then there's nothing you can do, plus if you're in agony needs must! Not like you've taken it knowingly while pregnant! Please don't beat yourself up [emoji8]

I'm taking aspirin also.. Not every day but a few times a week and here it says it increases risk of miscarriage [emoji15]

Pbn3 I wouldn't worry too much about the painkiller, I think they have to be over cautious in their warnings and like pop tart says, people have done a whole lot worse and had no problems. Sympathise with your back pain, it's miserable.

So sorry to hear this. Move your appointment if you can, maybe call your dr and explain. I went in late this cycle and got a prescription but I feel like it's a wasted month. Sorry again about the bfn. It's definitely no fun. I'm trying to remain positive but feel like I'll be taking my clomid next month.

Pbn, don't worry too much about the meds you took. With DS1, I took a painkiller after I accidentally got whacked in the head LOL and then a few days later I had a glass of wine. Shortly after that I found out I was pregnant. :oops: I knew there was a possibility since we were TTC but I figured since we reached a year of trying, I wasn't pregnant. DS1 is perfectly fine....quirky...but fine. :wink:

Quinn, maybe the temp drop is an implantation dip? :) I had one last cycle at 6DPO too and got a bfp four days later. I've got my FX for you!

CD6 for me today. HPT is finally negative so I feel like I can "start over" now. Still bleeding a bit but last night I kept getting major ovary twinges so I'm really hoping my body is gearing up for O already. I o'ed early (for me) last cycle at CD20 so it'd be really great if I could ovulate early again this cycle!

zero cramps now, haven't done a hpt in 48 hours but thinking I might buy one and check again. If she doesn't show between now and Tuesday (the GPs office is closed Monday as its a holiday here) I will go for BW. I went out last night and had a few drinks, less than I would normally have but I was absolutely wasted! I am dying a death today and have to go visit my inlaws :( Talk about punishment! I feel awful as well that I drank (had about 5 which is a good bit less than I'd have if I went out with the intention of getting drunk!) when I could be pregnant...

I actually think my temp was lower yesterday too. I took it late because my dd woke me up at 2am and I got up 2 hours later than normal. I should probably adjust that temp now that I think about it. I'll be hopeful for a ride tomorrow though! [emoji5]

I got a low fertility opk advanced CB on Oct 6th and the solid smiley the next morning. My CM had dried up completely by 10th as we were due to attempt again but I got a negative on 9th and 10th and CM and CP were indicating O had already happened. I don't temp unfortunately, it just wouldn't be accurate with my sleep pattern. I rarely get more than 2-3 hours in a row with our boys. My CP is high now too which I find so strange, it was low and firm about 4 days ago which is how it usually feels before AF arrives. I have always used IC OPKs and my body generally gears up to O with an almost + and then its a blatant negative before it turns full on + so the negative smiley followed by the solid one kinda lines up with past cycles using the cheap OPKs.

This was last month Quinn. Get progesterone bloods done! I'm gonna re adjust mine to weds making me 8dpo and go from there.

Could be an implantation dip also! People commonly get those dips.. If it shoots back up that's good! X

Honestly I was kinda thinking maybe that could be it but I dunno if it's considered a chemical since I didn't get a bfp. I dunno. I'm still awaiting AF, it's getting old now. I have decided I'm not buying a test, I will just go for the BW on Tuesday if I have to. Hopefully the witch will have arrived by then and I can get on with our November attempt!

I didn't even bother with a test today. I'm getting some major cramping and my cervix feels softer and a little open, so I'm thinking it's only a matter of time for me. If this month isn't it, we've decided to take next month off so I won't be worried about being pregnant and not knowing when we go on our cruise the beginning of December, so I won't be joining you ladies on the November 2ww thread. Hope to see some bfp's from you ladies!

Hopper with ds1 I didn't realise I was preggers and had a big nite at New Years and had a shocking hangover that lasted for three days... Which is what prompted me to test, I felt really bad but he's fine lol

Pbn3 I wouldn't worry too much about the painkiller, I think they have to be over cautious in their warnings and like pop tart says, people have done a whole lot worse and had no problems. Sympathise with your back pain, it's miserable.

Have taken rephresh and planning on taking an antihistamine and DH taking Sudafed, plus having a v hot bath. Have sylk lube to use too. Any other tips for a girly one please?!!!!

Ttc I don't think rephresh and sylk are as popular now as they reduce the rates of conception quite significantly and when conception does occur the odds of a pink aren't great anyway?

From what I can gather.. Diet, exercise and one attempt are the best sway factors! GL XXX

Hopper im not sure with the cb digis but maybe your body was gearing to O the opk detected it but it didn't happen? Bloodwork sounds like a good idea if she doesn't show.

10dpo today finally double digits 😁 no spotting. Cp high and temp still high too. Im off to the hospital. Ds4 is having a precautionary appmnt with an opthalmologist due to his hearing loss. He certainly has no problems seeing, he's like a hawk 😂
