Been waiting for the December board so I though I would create the December chat thread. Kept Magicals idea of changed name to anyone moving onto December not just in the 2WW.

Let me know when you plan on testing so I can add you to the day and then the results so we can keep track of our BFPs. Let's keep Novembers like class rolling into December.

Now for my little blurb....As of right now I "think" I am 2dpo, not sure since my temps are not showing it so I plan on testing the 9th but that may change depending on confirmed O. This is ttc cycle #4 ( technically 5 since bc was removed) and hoping to get BFP this month, not only because I want to be pregnant already but with Christmas coming up this month and my birthday (31st) it would be a wonderful gift. We are ttc swaying for a girl.

Trying to stay relaxed this cycle. Don't have any hpt in the house and won't get any until the 9th (spent too much $ last cycle on hpts). We were doing e2d and if we have to will continue that next cycle too.

Hi girls! I'm here too. Waiting to o. Been having ewcm and cramping. Today's opk was little darker so I'm hoping to get +opk in few days. I'm cd13 now. I had these syptoms last cycle too around these days and thought I would o earlier but didn't until cd21 so we will see.

So when I set up this group I said I was probably 2dpo (which would mean today is 4dpo) but after this morning FF confirmed my suspicions that I dos O on cd12 making me 6dpo now. Still trying to not symptom spot and hold out till Dec 9th to test, I will be 14dpo and it is when AF is expected with a normal LP of 13 days.

Moving over from the November thread. This is cycle 9 for us TTC, currently CD7. I have an HSG scheduled for Friday so not sure if that will effect when I ovulate this month or not. I can O anywhere from CD13-20 normally so hopefully sometime next week I will see a surge. I am hoping for the surge near the end of next week since DH is away from CD12-15 so I might not get any attempts in this month.

I'll put you down around the 24th (that calculating you O on cd20 and test 10dpo). I will change it when you have a better feeling of when you will test.

Agreed it makes it seem faster but still going to wait it out till Dec 9th so I don't get my hopes dashed by BFN too early, holding out for missed AF is my best option.

Well I was a bad girl, broke down and bought 3cheap test, pack of 3 frers, and a pack of digi cb. I did this because though I am trying not to symptom spot due to having the same symptoms as last cycle there is the fact that I have light pink/brown tinged cm today and my cervix feels like mush. I promised myself that I won't use the frers till cd12 or so and that I am not going to be upset at BFNs because this is still only ttc cycle 4/5 (my sister who is a doula keeps telling me statistically it's too soon though she wants to come check my belly this weekend).

Pbn - I'm a bit worried about the line - that test was done in the afternoon after about a 1hr hold....? Today's test just taken, the line is nearly as dark as the test line? I'm wondering if it's possible that I could of still been pregnant from the 'chemical' I thought I had at the start of the month? But I had bloodwork done the day after I started bleeding and my hcg was under 5.... Then I ovulayed as normal - so couldn't be that right? Confused....

I don't think you are still pregnant from before. There can be several explanations to how it could be so dark: you were still at about 5 Hcg and your levels are doubling faster, you ovulated earlier than you think, or you have twins��

Immi I also had a very definate positive with ds2 at 8dpo and freaked out until my 6 week scan positive they would say twins but he was the only one thank goodness lol! You may have implanted quite early too even at 6dpo but until your first scan it'll all be fun speculation :).

Immi when are you going to get bw done? Was your last af abnormal in any way?? Also were your tests getting lighter last cycle or did you stop testing completely after bleeding started? I've been doing abit of reading on the net and of course there's alot of speculation about strong bfps following a miscarriage previous cycle. There was even a suggestion that maybe twins were conceived and one miscarried but the other little bean stuck? Also the earlier implantation theory. Hmmm be interesting to see how your levels come back :)

Mystery solved!!! I started spotting this morning. I started temping yesterday and it dropped about .40 degrees this morning, I thought that was weird.
I'll hopefully figure out a pattern in the next 2 months, I'll use opk also. Looks like I'll be able to test around the New Years now.

Are you taking it at the same time? There is also a possibility of an implantation dip with spotting, keep temping and recoding.

FF got my chart all whacked out. After this morning it moved my O to cd16, Channing me from 8dpo to 4dpo, and I am still pretty certain I O'd on cd13 and am 7dpo. I changed FF to recognize my opk, cd13, as O until otherwise seen. I will hold off after all and test on the 9th like planned and AF can come anywhere between the 10th and the 13th. :worry: I feel like I may have missed our window and that I'm already out.

3dpo!! Ugh taking forever.. FF finally caught up with my OPKs and temping. So it said I ovulated late. And adjusted my LP!

Nann, 3dpo is still really early so don't lose hope! I didn't feel pregnant at all until right around the time I got my BFP. I thought *for sure* it wasn't my month because I didn't feel like I did when we conceived back in October. I have my fingers crossed for you.

Thank you ladies for your condolences. I haven't wanted to talk to anyone IRL (other than DH) about it because I'm afraid I'll burst into tears or they won't understand. I feel guilty for wanting ovulation to hurry up and get here already. :( Of course I'm very sad about my loss, but I just want to get pregnant again ASAP especially with Christmas coming soon and family coming to visit. It just makes me feel bad, like I'm wanting to forget what happened when that's definitely not the case. Having back to back losses has really taken away my "innocence" regarding pregnancy.

Hey ladies. Just posting so l get notifications so I can follow the BFPs, I'm reading through but not posting much. I'm 14 dpo today according to FF and I've been getting light cramps and my cervix is opening again, so despite my very faint positives again the past three days- I'm not getting my hopes up. I assume this is a chemical and that we will now move onto January as I'll be on a cruise next week and have 0 plans to follow LE. I hope I see lots of positives from you ladies!

Pbn here is my chart. I got a sqwinter on a first signal the morning within 3 mins but a bfn on FRER and CB digi. My gut says I am but I don't want to be disappointed again. I'm going to test again Wed.

Oh I have my FX for you signingmommy!! If you got a pos. on the one test, I'll bet you're pregnant! I got a squinter last cycle at 8 dpo (which I didn't believe at first) but a BFN on a FR. Two days later the FR was finally positive. The digital tests aren't sensitive at all, so I would avoid those until you've got nice lines on a FR.

I definitely will wait till Tuesday or Wednesday to give it time to darken since FRER didn't show a line till I tested this evening. I really really hope my gut is right. I don't have any symptoms per say except my boobs tingle and I keep feeling I wet my pants, but I have his feeling I am. DH doesn't think so, he said he has the feeling it will be next month. Fx I do get darker lines.

So on another board/thread I've been reading I remembered Atomic saying this:

Oh and just to clarify, OPK tests do work as pregnancy tests but only AFTER you would get a positive on a pregnancy test. Not before.

Since I don't have any hpts and am going to buy today I thought I would try So I used the insert opk for my CB advanced digital opk and I got the darkest of test lines along with my control like, a definite +opk so I am using this as a really good sign.

It really does work as a HPT! With DS1 I took an opk at like midnight around 12 or 13 dpo and got the darkest lines. I tested two days later with a FR and got a BFP. OPKs pick up both LH and Hcg because they're similar chemically that's why they're usually pos. during pregnancy.

Regarding opks as hpts though I will no longer do them as I found them extremely unreliable. With DS2 I got a BFP on my pregnancy test at 10dpo, but took opks daily before and after my BFPs and never got a +opk, even 5 days after my BFP.

Twice, during the last few months I've taken opks a day or so before AF was due and got definite positives (including on a digital CB opk). Both times AF arrived right on time and all hpts were BFN. Got my hopes up for nothing. If you google "LH surge before period" you'll find other women with similar experiences. I guess it's normal for some women to have a LH surge before AF. I've also gotten almost positive opks and strong O pains during AF without O'ing early.

I'm sure I have UTI. Had to take a painkiller and we had only ones with ibuprofen. Hopefully it doesn't mess up my ovulation. I'm 1dpo today. Or at least I hope I am, I hope I'm not ovulating today. I couldn't wait any longer and tested with a frer this morning, nothing there at all. I think I'm 10dpo but probably not due AF for a week, but there isn't even a hint of a line. I got EWCM at 9dpo so it's a possibility you could be O early.

I tested this morning, think I'm 12dpo and it's a definite negative. This is so hard!!! So looks like I'm out this month. If next cycle is same as the previous 2 we would be ready to bd on around 31 Dec. I had really wanted to conceive this year - one of my crazy ideas that all my boys were conceived in even years so I had to fall pregnant in an odd year to get my girl. Very silly I know! Just not sure how many months of this I can take!

Thanks for the well wishes ladies and purple yes, I'm doing e2d with an extra attempt either at pos opk (if it falls on in between day) or o day (if it falls on scheduled bd day). On day 5 of flashing smiley so looks like it could be Monday or Tuesday o day. I've only got one test stick left so I really hope its solid tomorrow morning lol - the last two days I tested a couple times as I couldn't believe it hadnt turned solid! So I had someone on another board tell me it was probably an evap line. Now I'm super bummed again. It was an hour after. I forgot to go check it that's why I waited so long. Me too! Maybe they did and I had no idea what they were talking about. The RE didn't even mention FSH until I did but maybe since I was there before and had success he wasn't concerned. When I conceived my last dd, I was new to the infertility world after conceiving twice quickly. I really didn't know what I was doing. I'm hoping for a fall baby so it would be nice to happen soon! Thanks so much. This is the first real attempt I've ever done. With DD we just pulled the goalie and waited for AF to not show. Wasn't charting, temping, recording anything. So it wasn't stressful. If it's not bright red blood, I wouldn't worry yet especially if there's not a lot of cramping. With both my early losses I was super crampy.

A chemical pregnancy is basically a very early miscarriage that ends because something just isn't right and the body recognizes it right away. It's usually a chromosomal abnormality and is VERY common. Most women just don't know about them unless they test early. Both my losses were considered chemicals since they ended at 4w2d. I hope that isn't the case for you. The bleeding could be leftover from when the egg implanted.

Nann I'm so sorry to read this. I had hoped that you would have an experience similar to mine, as the other lovely ladies mentioned I too had bleeding. I had dark red blood on CD 14 & 15 - enough to use a tampon and think that it was AF, and it stopped after that with a bfp.

Finally got a positive OPK yesterday on Cd18. Temp shot up this morning so I am guessing i ovulated yesterday too. Fingers crossed today is 1 DPO, will try for 1 more attempt today if possible. I believe I will test on Dec 22, which should be 10 dpo, which is also my DH's birthday and the due date of DD1. Would make a great Christmas present!

Well ladies, I'm on my way home from my cruise and AF is still nowhere in sight. I had a tiny bit of brown spotting this am after lifting all our luggage on and off the cart, but no pink or red. I didn't take any tests with me, or my thermometer, so I was flying blind all week waiting for the bleeding to start. I'm hoping it won't be another mc, but I think I'm safe to say our one-half attempt this month worked for something! I'll update once I get a test and call my OB.

Purple I'm almost certain I'll o today, I may have even oed this morning. Felt some definate twinges/cramps around 7.30am and the test line on my digi was way darker than the control line yesterday morning so this would line up. I'm really hoping I did o then as would put last nights attempt about 11-12 hours b4 o. Fx anyway! I'm really going to try and get another attempt in tonight anyway fx it pans out and here's to hoping for a nice temp spike in the morning :)

You probably don't need to see a doctor about it. Chemical pregnancies are very common and doctors don't usually worry about it if you've only had one. I've heard doctors will only do testing unless you've had 3 or more in a row. Your AF will probably just be heavier and longer than normal but if it goes on for a couple of weeks then you might want to get it checked out. Chances are that won't happen though especially since your tests are already negative.

25 dpo, so around 5/6 weeks. If I count from the first day of my bleeding with my mc, I'm 6 weeks exactly, closer to 5 if I count 2 weeks before o.

ATM: still no AF and I am 18dpo and temps are still up but I stopped recording them at 16dpo. Haven't taken a test since 13dpo but still pretty confident of my little bean. I'm going to call my dr tmrw and start accepting that I am pregnant. I keep praying I won't lose this one especially since I'm still a bit crampy. I'm totally in that same place too. At this point I just wanna get pregnant and not have to wait longer, but I totally get the feeling of being both terrified and excited about getting a bpf or not! Quinn I think Atomic mentioned in another post that temps while using Clomid are unreliable. I guess it can make them wonky. There's really not enough data on your chart to say for sure but CD14 looks like a possibility for O day with a slow rise. Temp wise CD17 is a possibility but do you typically O three days after a pos. OPK?

My friend had her daughter yesterday so now she has her PP. I'm happy for her but sad for me. :( I keep wishing for a daughter and I feel like she's out there somewhere waiting for me (does that sound weird?) but I'm worried I may never get her. I really want to get pregnant again but at the same time I'm both scared of another loss and of having another boy. I know I would love him just as much as my other sons but this is my last shot. Despite all of that I feel like I've relaxed on my sway a lot after doing it for 7 months. I didn't want swaying to take over especially during the holidays so I'm trying really hard to focus on other stuff and think sticky thoughts. lol

Quinn I have taken clomid 5-9 twice and also 6-10. I ovulated day 18 on the 6-10 and cd19 with 5-9 (you would think it would be the other way around)

Anyway, temping on a clomid cycle has always been just as reliable as normal cycles so it is probably right. I think you are supposed to O 5 to 10 days after clomid so it's in that range. Fx for a bfp!

So I'm 2dpo and for the last hour or so I've been having twinges of (not bad) pain after feeling af type cramps around the lh ovary area. I don't recall having cramps/twinges like this so early! YES. That's exactly how I feel and I think how many ladies on GD feel. I love my boys and don't wish they were girls but I do worry I may not ever have the daughter I've always dreamed of.



Pbn I've always been crampy in the few days after O when I'm pregnant! ;) I've heard it's from the fallopian tubes and uterus contracting to move the egg down and circulate fluids. FX it's a good sign for you! :D
