So sorry to hear about the CP, jenc. I had the same thing happen! I had a CP, HPT faded to nothing and then i got a crazy early +opk on like CD 5 then it went away the next day and I appear to have ovulated on about CD 20, atomic said things can be a bit out of sorts after a CP but didn't think I was ovulating on CD 5.

Was spotting for the last two days and AF came full on today. I was sure I had a faint positive on 13dpo, but, my husband said I was seeing things and the test was negative. I sure hope he was right. I don't think I could handle a second chemical in a row...

This gives me more time to do better with my sway!

I was posting in the due date thread but I am worried that I'm stressing out the other ladies in there with my pregnancy complications. I had an hcg test today and it was only 28. My progesterone is only 7.1. I was able to convince my RE to give me progesterone. I have to go back in on Saturday for another check. I'm 16dpo and FX everything turns out ok. Do you guys mind if I hang out here until I know more?

Hi all! I posted in the jolly july thread last month & here I am again. I have been trying very hard to get permission to do IVf PGD here in australia & after a very long 11months application & way too many appointments we finally got denied today. Mentally I was prepared for that No - so now here we are at our first attempt month! I am excited & scared all at the same time. CD8 today so based on previous months I should get a positive OPK in 8-10days time. It took ages to fall pregnant with DS1 (autism - which is why we have been trying to apply for IVF). but DS2 we fell pregnant first month with our attempt 4 days before positive OPK. I have been on a LE diet for 25 weeks now & I have lost 10kg. Overall I am 15kg lighter than my first prepregancy weight with DS1 so I am hoping that makes a huge difference to us this time. I have always been a constant snacker 7 meat lover, so going vegetarian & eating twice a day has been a huge change for me. I just hope it is enough! Wish me luck!

So sorry for you Lisastick! I wish August is your month! Momamia, please do stick around in this thread, I hope your little bean is a sticky!

Now I am just trying to make some sense about what's happening with me. Took progesterone after Ov and AF was expected yesterday. I have taken progesterone for 4 cycles now and AF always comes 4 days after I stop progesterone. So far, nothing and no AF symptoms. Just a little brown cm yesterday (13 dpo), I thought it was AF because it was too late for implantation bleeding. Today, 14dpo FRER is negative.

With my first pregnancy I know I implanted late (11 dpo) because I had a little implantation bleeding and no BFP until 7 days after AF due date!! I guess besides implanting late, my HCG rises slowly as well! So maybe I implanted late again? Like 12 dpo? I had some cramps around 7-8 dpo which I thought could be implantation but I am so confused right now. Oh I wish I was on of those ladies who have their BFP like 10 dpo! So I am waiting and waiting that either AF shows up, or a BFP.

I am trying to keep some hope because the only time my AF was late was when I was pregnant, but then FRER claims to be 99% right after a period is due and this makes me wonder...

Hi all! I had a chemical this last weekend and am currently on CD3. Since I am taking Clomid Atomic told me to always test on CD3 to make sure it was negative. The FRER was totally negative this morning but the OPK test I took was positive...I know there is no way I am ovulating as it's only CD3 and I usually always O on CD15. Would the chemical pregnancy cause the OPK to turn positive? I am still planning on starting Clomid tonight since FRER was negative but the positive OPK is confusing me...

I'm a good example of why you should take a test before taking clomid. I got a BFP on cd3 and it was very obvious that it was positive. My AF was completely normal!

I think you sometimes have a surge of LH during AF so that is probably why the OPK was positive. It would not be pregnancy hormomes as the HPT would show a good dark line before the OPK is positive from the Hcg.

Good luck with this round of clomid!

Sorry momamia, I really hope the hcg doubles for you. Mine was 51 at 16dpo, not quite as low but my progesterone was under 2. By the next test the progesterone had gone to 2.9 on its own but I'm now using pesseries which boosted it to 28 last check. Fx all your numbers increase nicely.

Thanks purple!! I'm feeling much more hopeful today. My hpt line is darker today than yesterday's! I'm hoping all I needed was the progesterone. I know that my hcg normally rises really slowly. With my past pregnancies, I never got bfps until at least a week after my missed period. So I'm trying to focus on that and stay positive. :)

Hey was wondering if anyone had any advice am currently cd 5, my boobs are a bit sore and am wondering if am gearing up for a really early o? Should I switch from one attempt to E4d's? My cb fm has not started to ask for test sticks yet and don't want to use my digital clear blue as I only have two. I have no ewcm and my temps are still high, so no other signs. I usually o around cd 14. Also I feel very uncomfortable in my womb area, not painful just tight and uncomfortable, also sorry for the tmi but my periods are usually very light but I have had a bit of on going brown staining? Could I have an infection? No discharge, itch or smell. Thanks in advance.

Glad you are feeling more positive momamia4, keeping everything crossed for you!

Girlieplease, brown discharge is usually old blood. From what I've been told, it's nothing to worry about. I would switch to e4ds. It's way easier and significantly less stressful. FX for you! :)

I have had some strange pains / tightness really early one cycle but I still ovulated later. Brown discharge sounds like just the left overs of AF maybe? Was it lighter this month or normal?

Yes it was and no real red blood, just brown, which was odd, it nearly looked black at times, that's why I was concerned may have been an infection? Thanks ladies, have gp appt tomorrow to discuss my lack of achieving pregnancy so can ask him! X

The main time I have had just brown bleeding and no red was when I wasn't actually ovulating or getting a real period. I had this for over 6 months before going on clomid to get ds1. I think it was due to having pcos which wasn't diagnosed then. I also suspect that drinking soy milk threw out my hormone balance.

Do you think you are getting an actual period? I can't remember if you are temping or not?

Thanks purple, I don't know. It fits with a lp of 9 days, which seems to be usual for me. I am temping but started temping vaginally since af, I am hoping that will be more accurate but not sure comparing it with oral temps would help. Am cd 6 today so am going for an attempt tonight as have decided to move on to e4d's as opposed to one attempt. What is " not real period"? thanks x

If they are really light and only 2 days it could just be spotting. That is what I had with my really long cycle, I would have a day or 2 or light spotting (red or brown) here and there but it wasn't a period as I never got a temp rise.

Spoke to gp today, he does not share my concerns but did say he would do a bloody test at cd 21 to check progesterone levels, he said that would hopefully reassure me about ovulation. He thinks my age is s factor as to why am not getting pregnant and there ain't anything I can do about that! Starting e4d's today, with an attempt tonight. Am a bit nervous about it as past two months I did one attempt at positive OPK and my timing looked spot on, so a tad concerned as with e4d' s I could have an attempt a few days before positive OPK. Not sure my dh swimmers hang around very long. Hoping to do attempts at cd 6, 10, 14, 18 and then until af arrives! Good luck everyone! Please bring on bfp x

hi girlie, sorry your still not getting anywhere with GP. Did he discuss what the protocol will be and how long you have to wait. Ik now it could be different depending where in uk you are but I have to have been trying for 12 months as I'm (just) under 35. I have had the 21 days tests previously and I know its not progesterone. Did he discuss what will happen if you are not pregnant after 12 months? or are you pretty much on your own? With me I believe its an implantation issue as I've been getting the surge as picked up on lots of OPKs, we bd every day around 0 (ttc blue) and husbands had a SA which was normal. I also went for a scan in January which was NHS to check my lining etc to check for PCOS. But there was nothing abnormal. Although I've only been TTC since april officially as I has a M/c in January we are down as TTC since November last year so I can get reffered sooned for fertility treatment, its just finding the money to pay for it :( I don't know if that's why I had a scan for free too?

Hope you get sorted, PM if you want any advice on the things you need to get checked out as it seems your GP hasent discussed them xxx

hope your ok purple, glad your scan went well xxx

Thanks girls am 36 ( my birthday is may) my youngest is 2 years past in April, so I conceived him three years ago this July.
I went to my gp in Feb and told him we were planning to try for a baby, I never expected problems, so I could not turn round and say we have been trying for a year. He said that if we have no success by a year, I could be referred for further tests but due to age and the fact that I have children already I would not qualify for Ivf. That suits me as I would not want to pursue that route and it would mean I would have less control over stuff re swaying! Have never told my gp that am swaying! It is all very frustrating and yet August attempt is before me and probably won't be successful either! X

Girlie I understand you won't qualify for ivf as I too am in the same boat. But did he discuss other checks? For example lap and dye, a scan to check for pcos or cysts or even endometriosis. Because there's alot of things to try before ivf. I'm just not sure how many can be covered on nhs. Also you could try hormonal medications such as clomid/progesterone a trigger shot. But again I'm not sure how far they will go on nhs. Either way you will usually need to be reffers by your gp. I'm too going back in November so if we're still about I can let you know how I get on. But hope you get your bfp before it comes to that xxx

So sorry tfahn that is so disappointing!

Baby2016baby, he went into no detail about tests that would/ could happen after trying for a year. I kindof got the opinion, because I have three babies already and fell pregnant very easily before, he is sort of assuming I will fall pregnant and we won't have to go there, he said he is fairly confident I will fall pregnant before 12 months. Though he does not know am swaying and not having as much sex as I probably should be! ;-) glad to have someone in the same boat, hope you and I both get bfp before having to speak to gp again, sending all my blue dust your way if you could spare some pink I would gladly take it!

Congrats 3!!

Girlieplease.. 36 isn't old.. I'm 36 too (37 in Nov). Although having said that, when I went to the gp with my pregnancy last year at 35 my dr was all doom and gloom about how old I was so drs can be funny about age.
I wasn't made to wait a year to get a referral to a FS though, I think it is after 6 months if over 35 unless you have an obvious issues like wacky cycles then they will refer you sooner. It is a bit different in Australia, we have a medicare system that pays for part of appointments but we also pay a lot out of pocket. They have no restictions on ivf here but you do have out of pocket costs. You may not even need ivf, clomid could do the trick!

baby2016baby

thanks 3. I'm swaying blue and its really getting to me and hubby that we started HE and all the gear end of Feb. We have both put on weight as we normally have a horrendous diet but done eat much if that makes sense. I'm going to test tomorrow and try to not drink any fluids after 9pm see if test gets darker. I have no symptoms at all. In fact I gave up at about 9dpo when I googled "early pregnany symptoms" and I had the exact opposite of everyone else! boobs don't hurt, not peeing any more, not changes in anyway, no cm. This is somewhat typical for me but I usually gag when brushing teeth and get a good sense of smell and my tastebuds change usually straight away. I feel exactly like I did with my chemical, ie not at all pregnant, in fact less pregnant than months I get bfn and af. My af was 3 days later with my chemical and I knew something was wrong straight away, kinda got that feeling again but trying so hard to have some PMA. I also had a miscarriage on new years eve just gone at about 7 weeks and that almost broke us. Its funny we weren't trying but once you accept it your ok, the sense of loss was still aweful. Ive had now 3 MC, 2 chems and 3 live babies. I'm starting to think maybe I cant carry boys as I am a carrier of a blood clotting disorder affecting only males. Hence I qualify for free pgd but only to make a girl, DOH! better mention Im only a 2nd generation carrier and my husband is negative. So if I were to have a boy there only a 12.5% chance he will get the gene, and about 3% chance he will have the disorder. Its easily controlled by one tablet daily xxx

I too have a lot of events coming up which will be a nightmare to get around but I am not even thinking that far. I just want to get to past af due date (sunday) and see test darkening first. I'm not even excited at all, just worried, so sad but when you've had a rough time in past I think you get guarded xxxx

Thanks purple, I really don't think it's old at all. We had first attempt last night as we are doing e4d's. Although dh and I had an argument before hand, he is fed up with swaying process. He thinks it has alot of an impact on him but I really don't see it, am doing the diet, exercise, monitoring my cycles, drinking coffee ( which I hate and makes me gag), I have the emotional roller-coaster of 2 ww and the disappointment when it fails. He is not bothered about having another, he is very happy with three and he would not care if it was a boy or girl so I don't think he gets my perspective. He is usually supportive but he was annoyed last night because I was telling him what to do with his body. I was just like why does this happen in our window please have a huff at another time. I think he came round when I said this will be another month wasted but at least I can blame him this time. Am starting to really not like the person am becoming? Dh and I rarely argue and am a positive person but have been feeling down since or lack of success last month. Really considering throwing in the towel and either accepting we will only have 3 babies or going for it no sway and accepting we will probably have a boy. Sorry for the moan!
Baby2016baby it is still early, I have read posts from lots of folk who have said they had lots of symptoms in 2 ww and were sure they were pregnant ( including myself) an weren't and then went on to have no symptoms in 2 ww and were pregnant. Keeping everything crossed for you! X

I am totally with you on the hubby thing too. The way my husband has gone on the last 6 months you would think it was him going through it. I don't think guys really get it at all. I don't know much about girl swaying but I do know its a lot more intense and hard to stick to than boys so you have my admiration. I really hope things work out for you. I think they really don't feel the same way about it for the most part and don't really understand even if well-meaning. My husband isn't fed up, but I can't gripe to him because it's on my behalf we're doing it, and at some point I mentioned I don't know how long I can try and that angered him because I think he felt it was hypocritical. I had very regular periods, small but there temp rises, so I would have sworn I was ovulating. However the tell all for me should have been all the flashing smileys I would get on my OPKS my estrogen must have been through the roof. My RE ended up saying with my hyper emotional response and sore breasts/nausea that he had reason to suspect I wasn't actually ovulating. My next cycle he gave me clomid and I fell pregnant so he must have been right. I had two previous babies before this seemingly no problems so it really can pop up out of no where.

The flashing smiley is when your body sees a surge in estrogen linked to just before your LH surge which is around when you ovulate. I used to get flashing smileys at cd 6 until cd 14-15 when I'd get my solid.this was before my last baby. For the two months I've been using OPKS now I haven't gotten a single flashing one now but I think that's related to low estrogen from breastfeeding. I still get solids but even those seem to be wonky..

It can always be age but I doubt it as i have been following you on here since the start of my 2ww and its like Deja's vu for me...Granted I'm not a doctor I just know what my doctor would think of your symptoms. A blood draw did not show mine. All my hormones showed normal. That obviously was not the case

Sorry tfahn. Got everything crossed for august. I hope your right but I think that line is so poor for this stage. Theres only a few times ive had poor lines like that and both were chems. Im sure i have implantation issues.

Girlie your bloods at day 21 will check your progesterone levels and they will know if your ovulating or not. Previously I always thought if you got an lh surge/pos opk you had to be ovulating but apparently that's not always the case. Fingers crossed you get some answers this month. You sound exactly like me with my first. I had a dose of Clomid and Bob's your uncle, pregnant, with a girl! X

Exciting, well fingers crossed for you! I have found the two week wait a most frustrating time.

Funny you should say this because past two months cb monitor has identified high fertility but no peak, endless highs, this happened before but I ended up pregnant with ds 1 and ds2, so I never paid much mind to it. I am getting a solid smilie on cb digital opks. Is Amy chance of getting pregnant with this? Can it resolve without medical intervention? Thanks for your help x

Sorry than :( I hope the injectables do the trick!

Girlieplease, if you aren't ovulating then you could have mild pcos which the LE diet would make worse. Maybe look at the PCOS diet? The cd21 test will probably show the dr that you are not ovulating so maybe he will help. It could also show you have elevated LH levels which is another pcos indicators. My midcycle bloodwork showed my hormones were all wacky so that is when the GP started suspecting PCOS. I would also get several OPK+ per cycle before eventually ovulating around cd30.

Thanks ladies, what would I do without you guys! But aaaaaahhhhhh, this is a nightmare! I just think maybe I should just give up? Seems like my chances are slim this month irrespective of whether it is high oestrogen or pcos. Thanks for all the advice, will check out pcos diet, but am sure it is too late to change now! Will reduce caffeine and hope that reduce estrogen. What can idiot about either of these issues? Thanks everyone x

Girlie I would not give up. I got my 3rd beautiful girl and I was in your shoes :) I would look up PCOS diet. Soda is a huge trigger for my PCOS as its high in sugars not so much the caffeine... It could well be a trigger for you too depending how many cans of soda you consume a day. girlie I hate to see you give up your dream... Why not speak up with your GP and tell him no offense but you really want a referal to an RE and hopefully get a cycle of clomid.... It may make all the difference!!

My hcg is up to 92 today and my progesterone is 12.1. The nurse said they're going to assume it's a normal pregnancy but I still have to go back every 4 days for bloodwork until I get up to 2000. FX it keeps increasing at a good rate!! :)

Cautiously saying I'm heading to the dd boards. tested this morning 48 hours from last test and line is about double the darkness. Still quite light considering I'm now 15dpo and af was due yesterday or today. But trying to remain posative as this is furthest I've got since m/c in December. Thank you all for listening to me and providing support and advice over last few months. Please pray I've got a sticky blue in here! Wishing you all the luck and baby dust in the world and I hope too see you all follow me soon, especially the ones whove been here the full 4/5 months since we started swaying. Will keep stalking here too xxx

Decided to try every 3 days this month as I feel that my body is not so fertile at the moment and that the extra attempts might help. Hopefully the lack of fertility will also keep things a bit pinker too!

This is my 6th month ttc so felt ready to put more attempts in. The other option would have been e4days with an extra attempt at positive opk (this is my plan for next month as this will Def give me two attempts in fertile period )

I will see what comes of the blood tests, would be quite happy to be put on clomid if it's suggested by my doctor.

Good to see some bfps appearing this month! ! It gives me hope :)

Blue dust to you both,I cannot imagine the joy of finally been pregnant and getting your gd. I had my dd first so it was sort of different for me. I will follow your journeys with interest and hope to join in dd thread soon.

Not happy with dh at all, he left me to do everything while he huffed! He then came downstairs and said if your going for a run better go now, what the heck? I don't need to exercise 6 days per week if we are not trying for a baby. Will see what tonight brings but not sure I feel like it! Am day 9 and past two months my cb fertility monitor has been registering high fertility since about cd6, hoping it is a good sign and cycles are settling and I get 2 highs, 2 peaks and one high after that. Moving over to August, I hope this isthe last month I have to move over to a new 2 ww thread, gl everyone attempting or waiting to test! X
