BR, glad baby is okay. Funny, I was debating the hospital yesterday cause I wasn't feeling baby moving at all (and hadn't overnight like I normally do) and had crazy lower abdominal cramping. Decided to give it one more try for a kick count and he finally started moving! Went to bed early and he seems fine today. But gah! The nerves!!

I'm a whale. 24 wks. Glad everyone is doing well. I have been having BH contractions. And these terrible muscle cramps in my stomach. It hurts very badly. I'm not sure if I should go in and get checked. Doctor said I could come in.

I think you look good Sharon! I know what you mean though about feeling frumpy and dumpy. I feel the same. I'm really sick with a bad cold. the coughing is getting extreme and hurts so much. Going to make a dr appointment today. I was getting worried about not feeling baby move too. Seemed like all day yesterday I couldnt feel anything and nothing through the night. But think i felt something this am. Going to lay down and check agian.

yes. I had that one day of nothing that i could tell, then the next day was normal. Today again, tried to lay still and feel movement but felt nothing. Then after dinner lots of kicks. I guess baby likes to sleep all day. :P

I spent 7 hours in the hospital with contractions every 2 minutes. They started at 2pm and they stopped them at 10pm. They didn't do anything to my cervix thankfully but we're getting painful. They think it's a uti that started it or irritable uterus. I see my doctor the 4th and 14th. I got a culture sent out to see if the is bacteria in my urine too. I'm worried but happy they stopped them.

Glad the contractions stopped Stink! I had something similar last week. I had braxton hicks contractions every 2 mins or so for 4-5 hrs but didnt go to hosp because they weren't painful. It was scary though. SInce then I havent had any! I'm really trying to drink more. I've been sick with a really bad cough so not sure if that caused them.

Sharon, this baby sure doesnt move much either, or not that I can feel yet!

I wanted to ask the girls who have had a few sons and are now pregnant with a confirmed girl, What is your hunger like this time vs. other times, and what about baby heartbeat rate vs with your sons? Any major differences?

thanks babygirl request! Ya I figured it wouldnt be much different. I mean as far as hunger goes, if you grow a 7 lb boy vs a 7 lb girl you should be the same amount of hungry. I've heard many people swear by the heart rate theory. For me, my first son was low 150's and my other two sons were low to mid 140's. This baby is right at 150 but only been told the heart rate twice. I cant wait for my doppler to arrive in the mail. I dont have much movement so it will be nice to just hear the heartbeat as often as I want. (given that it works correctly!)

Symptom wise, I have almost none this entire pregnancy. I'm not carrying any different, about the same as last pregnancy but maybe a smidge smaller. Eating wise, no crazy cravings this time and not much with my youngest. Heart rate is 150+ with her and my boy's were 143 & 147. So that one is true.

Contractions still happen, just not constant. I go in for GD test tomorrow and see my doctor next Tuesday.

Baby shower is coming together nicely. Anyone else having one, is it coming up soon? What's the theme?

Thanks for chiming in Stink. So I've been checking the HB often since yesterday when I got my doppler. It ranges from 139-151 in the span of a few mins. Crazy how I have to chase the baby around in there as it keeps turning etc. It's fun but the heart beat isn't super high so that has be worried it a boy. The internet says that it's just a wives tale but it's hard to ignore.

I went for a tour of the maternity ward at the hospital today in hopes of it helping me decide where I want to give birth. Felt a little awkward since I barely look pregnant if you know me...and I definitely didn't next to the two women who were there. And the tour didn't help. I'm more conflicted than I was before. Trying to decide which is more important to me...not having to travel during labour or not having to travel to our neighbouring town within the first 48h after baby arrives. Peace and calm of my house during labour/delivery or peace and calm of not having 4 boys demanding attention immediately after giving birth. Waiting on myself...or being served.... Packing up 4 boys to go to a variety of places...or packing a bag (that I have to pack regardless) so I can go somewhere. I feel like it would be so much easier overall to have this baby at the hospital but not sure how to get over the 'delivering in a hospital room'. Gah. I've had three births since my first and everything went beautifully...but it's what didn't go beautifully with my first that terrifies me (I tore somewhere you aren't supposed to tear...it took a year before it didn't hurt...and I can still feel the scar line twinging when being intimate with dh...and it petrifies me to think of tearing there again) and I can't relax and trust that I will be fine this time too. I have never given birth in a hospital since....

And I'm worried that any concerns I have after baby is born will be ignored because they were with ds4...I was told to relax...I was an experienced mom and I was fine (meanwhile, I had retained product, was hemorraging, my milk couldn't come in so ds4 got increasingly jaundiced but my midwives refused to actually test his levels, telling me I was imagining things and of course my milk had come in...I had nursed ds3 through my entire pregnancy, how could I not have milk!? And it was okay that ds4 wasn't pooping...as long as he was peeing he was getting enough to eat)

Sorry...starting to feel like a neurotic mess. 95 days to go...I can't find any name I like...not 1...I have no idea where I want to give birth...I have no idea if I will have someone to watch my kids when I give birth or if dh will be doing it and I will be flying solo...and now some of the realities of actually delivering a baby are feeling a little closer than I like.

For fun though...a comparison of my baby bellies, lol. I took no pictures with ds2 because I looked the same as with ds1 just 3 weeks smaller.

I can believe it! I'm not sure I would be able to believe an ultrasound fully until after baby had been born. My midwife told me they recently had a case where ultrasound tech said boy and when the baby was born it was a girl. Often hear the reverse...almost makes me wonder if mine was right...except that I saw boy parts clear as day. :)
And that will be so great for your boys to see her!!

My next gender scan is at almost 31 weeks which is on october 15th and if this little one is anything like her brothers I think she will be here by 38 weeks so that should keep me going til I meet her lol

BR. Nice to have another scan at 31 weeks to hold you over until birth. With all 3 of my sons they couldnt see something at the 20 week so I had to go back at 25 weeks so that was nice to get an extra scan. Twice it was the heart and once is was something in the brain they were looking for but could see. A little worrisome but all 3 times it was just the positioning and all was fine. We'll see if that happens this time or not. 2 days until my scan!

I have also been booked in dor a growth scan at 38+2 which is December 8th but with 2 out of my 3 boys being born at 38 weeks 2nd boy was at 39 weeks. I can't see me making it to that date.xx

I always have a stretch and sweep of my cervix starting at 37 weeks. For my first son it didnt get labour started until the 3rd week she did it. Then for #2 it worked the 2nd go and then for my 3rd it worked at 37 weeks :) For me, when I get to 37 weeks I feel like an uncomfortable whiny whale and I just want my body back lol. I can't imagine going to 42 weeks like some poor women! Hoping for 2 weeks early this time, maybe 3 weeks early.

OMG! It's a GIRL!!! Got the best news ever yesterday[emoji3] at my 20 weeks scan!
I can't believe my sway worked! I'm still in shock, only 2 people know so far, my hubby and best friend and you guys of course.
I had tears of joy when the tech first said it's a girl which made her triple check and explain to me what we were looking at. I was 21 weeks, but measured +2 days.

sorry to hear that you are dealing with anxiety and depression Stinke- Hopefully the medication really helps for you.

I had my 20 week scan. I decided not to look at all which took a lot of willpower. It wasn't the normal sonographer it was just a tech. I told her not to let on gender at all. She didn't we chatted about her kids and mine the whole time. Of course she asked what I already had.

Baby was measuring a few days small which hasn't happened to me before. Mine were always a few days to 2 weeks big by the 20 week scan. Baby was head up facing my spine so she had trouble getting any face profile pics for me. I asked if the baby looked healthy and she said she's not allowed to comment on that which has me a bit worried. the report should be at my dr for my next appointment next tues. Will try and post the 2 pics she gave me.

I think vasa previa is only a risk if you have a natural delivery and they are not aware of it. It's great they've caught it so early and keeping a good eye on you.

Hi ladies I will be 31 weeks tomorrow! I had several scans my cervix is still long and everything is going great. I will have a growth scan within a few weeks.

I been freaking out because my baby girl gets hiccups 1-2 a day doc says it normal and my cousins say their babies did the same.

I seriously can't wait to bring my baby girl home! I will be full term the week of Thanksgiving! I am so anxious already

Pricess mom. My baby gets hiccups about 20 times a day or more and thats no exaggeration i am planning to ask my ob next week if this is normal . My baby is already head down and engaged which was confirmed via ultrasound and i am only 26 weeks 1 day!! Our ds2 was head down at 25 weeks. Anyway im a little concerned about the hiccups , i cant remember about ds1 i know ds2 used to get them but not as much as this baby!

My daughter is head down too she has been, I know my doc does growth scans around 32 weeks so hopefully I get a scan soon. I had many scans and she doing great. Doc and nurses and tons of people said hiccups are normal

Can i ask u lovely ladies to help me with a friends nub guess.... i think i know what it is but 1 of the pics puts me on the fence. Im usially pretty sharp at the nub guessing aswell. 1 of the pics the babys curled but if u tilt the pic to angle with the spine it looks straight.

Sharon fairly certain that's a girl. Nub only angled because of baby's positioning and the shape is very girly. I don't know what gestation your friend is though but if 13 weeks onwards I'd say at least 80% confident it's a girly :-)

Went for my other scan on saturday. My boys enjoyed it. Baby was fast asleep with her hand above her head and feet up in her face too and head down too and looks very much still like a girl she was flashing it all. no dangly bits in sight. The tech prodded and poked her to wake her up but baby was having none of it was snuggled in to the placenta.
We could only get 1 4d picture of her face half hiding and to me she looks very cross for being poked

If the tech said girl and she looked like a girl in the scan to you then I would go with that BR :)

I can't really make out what is going on in that shot so I would't say boy from it!

BR techs will get a better look. You've had loads of confirmed girl shots now. Remember as baby gets a bit cramped in there it's difficult to tell gender, it's why places will only offer Gender scans until a certain point x ps I don't see anything boyish there anyway

Hi Ladies. I haven't been on in a while. I've had 3 ultrasounds lately and stuck to my guns about not finding out gender. it's been nerve wracking for sure! At 19 weeks baby was in super bad position. Then at 20 weeks got all images but needed to go back to see the hands! Yesterday went back and got lots of images of hands so all is well. Baby has been head up always which is so weird for me because none of my other kids were ever head up! Even early on! hope all is well with all of you.

Baby measuring 29 weeks. keytones in my urine 😢. Heart heartbeat was 140. blood pressure was fine. Next appointment in 3 weeks where apparently we will discuss home birth. Eek it's flying!😀😍💖

I had ketones in my urine too Hun, I had a couple of infections and am on antibiotics now. Apparently they can be elevated in pregnancy for no reason though. How exciting! You are on the home stretch.

I found out that I keep having UTI bacteria in my urine too. We're thinking she's pinching off my ureta and is causing reflux between kidneys and bladder. I found out that I keep having UTI bacteria in my urine too. We're thinking she's pinching off my ureta and is causing reflux between kidneys and bladder. I don't think I am... before pregnacy I was very slightly over weight for my height and build ideal was around 55kgs I was 62kgs since then I have gone upto 65kg. Which is roughly around 6lbs

Hi everyone . I had a follow up scan as we thought i had vasa previa but turns out i dont so im over the moon.!!
I will be 28 weeks tomorrow.. times flying. Getting back to the weight thing. I lost 3 kg in 2 weeks between my 24th snd 26th week. Is it bad to loose weight while pregnant ? Im not purposely loosing i eat well im not sure why i lost weight but i definitely do have some i can loose. My baby was measuring well in fact i was 2cm larger then dates .

Just left L&D. Contractions every 2min, again. Cervix is closed and long so they sent me home. I'm supposed to sleep?? Lol. They didn't stop them. Just said if they get hard to breath through, come back. Or blood or my water. :/ ugh. Irritable uterus sucks.

Because they aren't "making changes and some women just have them all throughout pregnancy". Aren't I lucky. I'll be going to my doctor if I don't feel any better and can't sleep. They are about a 4-5 pain wise. Uncomfortable but manageable. Just not able to sleep through it. You know?

22 weeks :) My placenta is at the top so I feel most of my really obvious movements in my lower stomach above pubic bone. Nothing visible on the outside yet but can feel it if you push a bit on stomach.

Hi ladies glad to hear everyone is doing good! I will be 33 weeks tmrw, I had a scan today and my baby girl weights 4 pounds 10 oz. she been measuring a few days ahead. I can't wait to have my daughter and bring her home, pregnancy is stressful and I hate worrying all the time, I became crazy! Also all that worrying I had with my cervix and my cervix is still and now is 4.27 cm long! Just a few more weeks to go

Lots of stressors happening right now though, so feeling overwhelmed.

I need to also get to 37 weeks which will be November 29th. And this day is my 2nd son's 10th birthday. 🙈so really need to get past then. Have another growth scan on December 1st. But 5
Then my 2nd son has an operation on December 8th argh

Hi Ladies. I will soon be 25 weeks. Had my dr appointment this past Monday. Baby still breech and heartbeat was 153. Got the results back from my many ultrasounds and all is normal. Baby measuring 4-5 days small which is a first for me. Weight gain has stopped for me in the last few weeks. I am not any more hungry now than I was before pregnancy and I have a ton of acid reflux now so hard to eat large amounts. I'm still sleeping like a log so hope that continues! So exciting that a few of you are so close to holding your babies! I've still got a long way to go!

Can you just not consent to the strep b test? I plan to refuse it as I don't want antibiotics and I'm also planning to homebirth so I'm not sure if it would mean I couldn't.

With my first I tested posititve to the swab and they forgot to give me the antiboitics in labour as it was quite fast. With my 2nd I had a planned homebirth with an independent midwife so it was easy to say I didn't want the swab and she was happy with my choice. I don't trust the swab as the strep b status can change and also it can give false positives, I have heard of someone not actually swabing anything thing and it came up positive!

I find it weird this baby has been head up all the time. My others were almost always head down or at least head to my hip etc. I get crotch kicks now sometimes! lol...Ya it's a bummer about the bladder infection but it's gotta be fairly minor because I didnt even notice. They discovered it at my last dr appointment. :)

Picked up moses basket from my cousing yesterday on my day off. So far wev bn so luck with getting given moses basket, carseat & pram all free of charge from family . Albeit 2nd hand but such good condition. Saved us a fortune. Just need 2 buy a cot, mattress,bedding & bouncer, oh & bottles then wer sorted

My baby has been in a super weird position today and it's causing tons of BH contractions and I'm feeling a but of rectal and vag pressure. Nothing painful. Baby feels sideways maybe and in my ribs....Hoping baby goes back to a comfortable position soon. My belly feels like it's going to burst and rip. 36 weeks today and my midwife was meant to be doing a home visit but is now more than half an hour late.

She was here for about an hour was lovely went through things with me made a simple birth plan so this time next week if this lady decided to arrive then we can have a home birth got all the numbers etc exciting now.
I just hope not that day as it's my middle son's 10th birthday. That son also has to go into hospital on December 7th to have his dental op so baby can't be coming on those days either

Hi Ladies. I've been feeling rough the last few days. I've been having tons of weird pains, ripping muscle pains and and lower back pains. I can't believe im only 26 weeks because that means I'm going to be enormous and have so many stretch marks this time. It feels like my body is telling me it cant stretch any more at this point! I feel like I"m just a whiner and complainer all the time. Also I've been feeling super lonely and depressed. Feels like my husband is never home and isn't being supportive of me. He doesnt offer to help do anything when I tell him my back hurts etc it's like he's not even listening...it really hurts me to know that I give so much and in my time of need he isn't being helpful to me. I dunno if it's just crazy pregnancy hormones or what....

Aww pinkhelp it sounds like you could do with a bit of help from him for sure. I think our hormones prob play a part too tho.
I second how your feeling regarding the stomach stretching coz im feeling that way bow too. Ive started layering on the bio oil even tho i know it doesnt stop stretch marks! It jst helps to knowive done what i can to try reduce how badly they get.

Thanks Sharon. I think my belly is about the same as yours! It sure feels like I'm already full term. Maybe I'm just forgetting how big I really get. I hope these mood swings end. It could be partly due to the changing weather. I always feel happier and more energetic when it's sunny and there will be so much less daylight for the next few months! I started with drips from the beast but when that wasn't work g so we'll I switched to a breast pump and syringed it up from the bottle.xx

37 weeks today.😍😍

Was woken at around 1.30am with some strong tightenings, daggers and lots of pressure in my pelvis. Tried going back to sleep for a little while but couldn't as these tightenings were strong so decided to get up potter about the house by 4am they had eased off.
Boobs have not stopped tingling and leaking since.

Its also my 2nd sons 10th birthday today. Dont really want them sharing so legs are being crossed today 😉😉

Oh no! That's stressful! I came to check on everyone.

I was sick for two days, nausea, more BH contractions, pooped a lot, her movements hurt, etc. So many things, I got concerned. I went in to get checked, and she had turned! That's why I felt like crap. So that's good. I'm currently HUGE!! My belly button is screaming. Things are finally coming together in her room and such. Just packed her bag. I'm regretting not getting an infant car seat. I didn't even think about the rain being an issue. I want to punch myself for that, lol. Money is so tight, it'll have to wait until I sell something.

Yes because we now need a bigger 4 bedroom house we have been applying for a few over the past few month but kept getting let down. This one that came up the landlady needed us to take on the tennacy by december 1st otherwise we will miss out again and its a lovely house just what we need. So we have handed our 4 week notice into my current landlord and we cant afford to pay rent on 2 houses longer tgan that . (Also this current house has damp issues and dont want to be keeping a newborn baby in this for too long) now we have to vacate this house by december 24th. But i want to be settle for all our children's sakes by Xmas and not moving on December 24th.

Hi ladies my water broke at 12 Thanksgiving morning, I went to hospital to find out if it was my water and it was, wasn't contracting much so got pitcoin and it took a while plus my daughter wasn't moving down and was being lazy so we had to do an internal monitor. The doc check I was on 5cm and she was still very high. Then hour later I was fully dilated and push her out in two pushes. She is 5 pounds 6 oz 17 and half inches long. My smallest baby my last kid was almost 9 pounds. I was 36w6d she is doing great I am so in love with my Elena Marie!

BR, wow, moving would be so stressful but you'll be glad you did in the end! Glad she waiting until after your sons bday.

My latest complaint lol is my hips and lower back. I feel like these mega hormones are making it feel like my hips are dislocated whenever i get up and climb stairs etc. The joys! I'm over 27 weeks now. I'm excited to get it's the 30's, then it will seem closer!

Ladies please keep my baby in your prayers her newborn screening came back borderline for two rare scary diseases we had to redo the test. The nurse said I shouldn't even worry about this because it's such a low number and these test are so sensitive they always give out false positives. I should get the results this week I been on pins and niddles and praying

Went for her two week check up doc told me I shouldn't worry about that test that it comes back a lot this way w first test and the fact that she growing and gaining so good is a good sign she said not to worry at all and my husband or I don't have any genetic disorder.

I can't believe I was the first to give birth lol I always go to 40 weeks I'm still in shock I went in early I been super busy! I been mostly only pumping and it's very hard esp w 4 kids I'm hoping to continue and keep trying to get her to latch at least for night feedings. She is my best friend we went to see Santa today I will post pics later

Well, I went to the hospital for numb hands and face, only to be fine with that but they were more concerned with the fact I was contracting, I always do, and I'm 3cm 50% and station -1. I'm 36wks now, so we should be fine if she comes. Just waiting for waters to break basically.

Id like to introduce Scarlett aurora born 11th December. still shock thought i felt a pop at 5.30am but nothing regular was happening nothing leaking ans nothing too painful until 6.30am. delivered her myself at 6.55am nobody here other than my boys.

Feeling bitter sweet today... love having a daughter here but this is my last baby i will never create or grow another life or feel another kick. Maybe while it hurt i would have love to be pregnant a bit longer too. Never want my baby girl to grow up i want to stay like this forever

Yay Sharon, we are finally starting to see the end :) I'm starting to get nervous about the delivery and the gender being revealed at birth. I've gotten this far so I won't cheat now. Does your baby move a lot sharon? Mine is very squirmy. Don't think that is gender related. I'm measuring a few weeks small now. Acid reflux has been terrible the last few weeks but one gaviscon at bed is working fairly well. Tums do nothing. Looking forward to having my body back. Hoping this baby is a good sleeper :) I'm a mess when I'm sleep deprived!

Yes my baby moves constantly and jumps lol mainly in the evenings. I can feel her growing in size the last few weeks. Her body feels really big now! Still 7.5 weeks of growing to do which is scary. My son moved loads too so i used to thimk movement was a gender thing as my 1st DD hardly moved at all but this girl is defo a wriggler. Haha i hope i get a sleeper too! I hear u with the acid reflux, mine is terrible,i need 2 sleep with 3 pillows and a cushion under the curve of my back to help with it. Youv done so well gettin to this point not knowing the gender. Do u have a gut feeling if what ur havin? X

Hi Sharon. I'm really not sure on a gut feeling. For a while i think my gut was saying it's a girl, but now as the due date approaches I'm really not too sure. I'm super hoping to have this baby a few weeks before the due date. If I make it to my due date I think I'll have an over 8 lber...My body hides the baby size somehow. I'm not a big person. Dr thoguht my first would be right around 6 lbs but he was 7.5 lbs, then my next 2 weeks early was 7.7 lbs then my 3rd 3 weeks early was 6.15 lbs....so they kept getting a bit bigger....this baby was measuring a bit small at ultrasounds...but could have caught up by now!

Was the doc worried at all? If not, I wouldn't fret.

I was measuring 35 at 39 weeks after three weeks of decreasing measurements and they sent me for an ultrasound just to make sure baby was still happy and getting what he needed. Now in the last week and a half as he drops and has to come out of hiding, I've grown a huge amount.

Poor Raezdal going overdue! Ya I always measured 1-2 weeks small with my others too, but not this small, fingers crossed for a small baby!

Still no baby. :( Constant contractions - 3mins apart lasting 1-2mins - but they aren't effective. This is the most pregnant I have been. Find out tomorrow what happens if I go the last week to 42weeks.

Good luck today! I've checked and my cervix is already 1 cm, but baby hasn't really dropped, i can feel the head but it's not putting pressure on the cervix yet. What size of babies do you usually have?

The only time i had a sweep was 12 years ago with my 1st. they did at 38 weeks because i was already 2cms dilated at 36 weeks after that on other pregnancys they refused.
Raezodal i have been the same as that the last 3 too didn't drop until baby was well on their way.

Otherwise, ultrasound and nst today to make sure all is well with baby. And induction tomorrow. Dh is away for the weekend with my oldest and midwife and I agreed this was a better choice than risking going into labour while he was gone.

I feel your pain both my boys came a 42 weeks first after 48 hours after a stretch and sweep my 3rd was at 42 weeks after having my waters broken.
