No they didn't even comment on the numbers to be honest. I did the numbers and it's tripled in those 3 days.
I go back for another beta Thursday and first ultrasound is in 2 week's.

Robin- that's exciting! Could be more than one. Mine during this pregnancy quintupled every 3 days that has ended possibly with a vanishing twin. You should be getting an early scan around 6 weeks!

AFM - I am STILL in limbo. Ugh. I thought for sure when I got my Friday betas back yesterday, that it would all be over. Then I get the numbers from yesterday - today and they went up significantly. I am still real weary of the low numbers, but maybe a small little bit of hope. Here are the stats:
14dpo - 107
16dpo - 198 (54 hr doubling)
18dpo - 287 (89 hr doubling) not looking good
21dpo - 815 (47 hour doubling) WTF?

So here I am still pregnant and have to wait until Monday morning for my next u/s. This is pure torture.

With wierd numbers like that you really should be having a progesterone test. My Progesterone test was much more accurate of early pg viabilty than hcg # were.

If they are above 25 ng/ml (80 nmol/l) you have 98% chance of viable pg.

Currently cd29 (cycle is usually 27/28 days) with no bfp (think I had very feint evap line a few days ago). Still no af but have the usual symptoms. I have given up hope for this month so just want it to arrive!

I bought these from a bargain store in the U.K.- 'clear and simple' sensitivity is 20 or 25 if I remember correctly. Not tried any others. I can't find any frer in the shops. I have a sealed pack of clear blue digital but don't want to use these !!

I feel af is imminent in terms of heavy crampy feeling, back pain etc. I said to my hubby once this month is out of the way I'll not obsess next month, I think I've just been so excited about TTC and wanted it to happen first time as it did with ds! (Even though we messed up dtd! ).
I think my af is being late just to wind me up!

I am annoyed bc my fertility clinic won't test my progesterone levels! They say it's not Accurate bc it doesn't test the levels from the womb?
I HAVE progesterone left and now that I got my bfp I am wondering if I should start taking it.

This cycle RE told me they don't test for progesterone and it's my call if I want to take it. They said it wouldn't hurt... but I have no idea my numbers. I've never taken progesterone in any other pregnancies though.. so I'm not sure what to do at this point.

I would take it. A lot of doctors think it's black magic (I've actually had a RE say this to me). If they'll give it to you, take it. It does not hurt anything to take it. I'm taking it currently too. :)

FWIW Robin, my OB tested my progesterone levels with this pregnancy and would have prescribed progesterone supplements if my level would have been lower than 25. I would say take it- it's not going to hurt and may help.

I do not have experience with ectopic pregnancies but have researched them deeply. Because of my tubal reversal, I have a much higher risk of having one. From what I understand, the pain is crippling. My miscarriage a few years ago was this way. I went to the ER because the pain was so bad. It turned out to be just a regular miscarriage. If you are concerned about it, go to the ER. They can run a battery of tests to figure out if that's what's going on. FX it isn't ectopic!

I would see what the Dr says, but the shoulder pain is troubling. That IS a sign of ectopic. I would get it checked out sooner rather than later. In my situation, I am to go to the ER immediately for any sharp pain. Praying for you Lola

Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it! I started feeling more nauseous at work & threw up several times. I rarely leave work for being sick, but couldn't stay today! Took a zofran & curling up in my bed while boys are at preschool! My dr wanted me to get it checked out, but doesn't have anything until Friday AM. I hesitate to go in if it's a CP and there's nothing that can be done about it. I'm going to go try to sleep it off for awhile!!!

Honestly, it is better to get checked out and it be just a CP than to wait and have it be an ectopic and you loose a tube or something worse! Please get it checked out ASAP if it is making you feel that bad!

I wouldnt be taking progesterone until you get your levels checked. Is there a private company you could use? It is not a very expensive test.

As for the supplements...i've had 4 losses in a row....progesterone does NOT help to prevent miscarriage in IUI or natural conceptions. it only delays the inevitable.

Progesterone is prescribed in IVF bc egg retrieval damages the corpus luteum.

Yep, it's the nature of the beast! That's why most of us girl swayers save our cheat days around AF.

Exercise is best if you do 60min straight through. That being said, no less than 50min straight through is ok too.

BDing E4D is yo ensure only one attempt in your fertile window without having to use opks. It also helps maintain sperm count by BDing regularly without swaying blue.

Quick update...just to torture myself, I took an HPT this AM & still a faint line, took a much needed long nap and then took another HPT when I woke up. There is no longer a 2nd line. It is what it is. Not sure why I would throw up if my hcg levels weren't high. I think I'm feeling a lot better though & ready to move on! CD 2 now...would be looking at a Dec 11th baby this time around.

Hcg isn't what is making you sick Lola.. it's the ther hormones that also go up in pregnancy like estrogen and progesterone.. when those drop suddenly or increase suddenly they can make you super sick too. That's why women get nausea and vomiting on birth control..

This cycle, we'll increase the meds and do back to back iuis. I'm also going to talk to them about doing a double trigger shot at ovulation. I'm wondering if that will help anything. Thanks for your sympathy! :) FX we're both lucky next cycle!!!

May be something to think about depending on what cd you're on?

I have some internet cheapies which worked fine in the past. I'm CD 12 today but I'm getting a faint second line now, so feeling more optimistic. I feel like caving and just DTD so we don't miss the egg but I'm restraining myself [emoji16]

Thanks for the thoughts ladies. I don't talk to anyone about this bar DH so far too much gets bottled up inside.

DH is on the fence about no6 that if we have another boy I will still feel the same. Part of me knows this is true. Gender selection in Australia is just taking too long for an answer.

Part of me just wants to be pregnant ASAP so i can know soon enough what Im having. I just hate hate hate feeling this way. I know my world could have so much more serious or worse things going on. I know that NOT having a dd shouldn't be this much of a deal but it is and it just hurts so damn much.

Pb my usual cycle was 28 days o around 14 but it's been nearly 4 years since I've really had a normal cycle I've always been pregnant or breastfeeding then I had the iud which nearly stopped it all together so who knows!

Lola when I've started testing super early I have sometimes had a darker line that faded out before fading in.

Netti I can't even imagine :( is couselling an option? May be worth a try? For me personally I try and think of the things I can do once I'm done with all this. I feel like there's a small spot in my heart that belongs to the girl I will never have. I let that spot come out and mess with my head occasionally but then firmly tell myself 'this is not your life, and never will be' and then I put it away again. It's an ache that will be with me for life but one I believe I'm ready to live with. It may be different for me as at this stage I would've just liked a healthy pregnancy which will take up another spot in my heart (3rd and last baby). That is in no way meant to make you feel bad by the way, my pregnancy issues are not yours or anyone elses fault, you are entitled to feel the way you do and probably moreso than alot of us! I was just giving my example of how I am, and hope to, cope in the future :)

(((Huge Hugs))) Netti! It's so hard to know what to do and what the right decision is, isn't it? My best advice, my dear friend is to listen to your heart. If you want another baby, then TTC. If you want a girl, then maybe explore other options. As far as a hesitant DH for wanting another baby, give him time. See if he will BD unprotected E4D and keep quiet on all things TTC. Please PM me about how to navigate a difficult DH when wanting another baby. My DH wasn't on board at all until the month I got my BFP. We had been having unprotected BDing whenever my DH wanted for 12mo before getting my BFP.

Sorry for the late update. I was out all day running around. I got good news and Bad news.
Good news is that the pregnancy is in the uterus and is not ectopic! I was so worried about that.
Bad news is that there was only a Yolk Sac. No fetal pole or HB or anything else was seen. So right now, it is just a wait and see STILL! This really suck to be honest. I can't be excited about being pg, I can't even connect or feel anything yet. I just have to wait and see what happens the next time I get a scan. Which as of now it looks like will be in 3 weeks because of our schedule and the fact that I want DH in there with me and not in the waiting room with the kids.

They did not give me any pics or measurements or anything. They just said for the time being to treat myself as I am pregnant and to take good care of myself. Have not heard back from my Dr yet. Might have to see if they want a scan in a week or 3 weeks since I can't do it in 2 weeks. This really does suck. :(

Aww Shan I have a picture I'll try to find of my second pregnancy I was so worried because I had previous miscarriage just before so I had a scan. It was to early and all you could see was the yolk sac and no hb or anything
