Proper pictures. You can see a line on the frer more obvious today. My opk is obviously darkening (the last opk was today) don't notice much of a difference on wondfo.

Iwant4kids I'm so sorry! That has to be hard but I can imagine the relief of being able to move on.

Finally able to come back and read everything I missed this AM. All of you are too funny...sorry for the delay this AM didn't mean to leave you all in suspense haha. I do get up super early, but DS2 also decided to get up super early, which he never does. I also didn't hit any stoplights to type lol...so had to wait until I got to work. I have about a 30 min commute. Anyway, I've already made an appt for May 16th with my OB-that's the soonest I could get. AF will already be here by then. I guess I will just go into month 5 ttc without help, but I will have visited the OB & maybe have meds for the next cycle 6 if needed! Clomid only works during AF right?? I wish I could get it over the counter!!!
I will def test again, probably until AF arrives lol. And yep...I've never had a BFP before 11dpo, so we'll see what tomorrow brings!
Iwant4-I'm just reading your news and I'm so sorry!! I'm glad you're not in limbo anymore & can start ttc soon. I'll be right here in this group to support you! I had hoped to move to the ddg, but silver lining=the wonderful ladies here.
Ash-those are beautiful lines!!! Congrats again!!! If I don't move on this cycle, maybe next & Feb is still the same ddg ;) As far as your friend, that's def tricky! One of my brothers & his wife had been ttc for years and did IVF that failed & had many miscarriages. It was so hard b/c we were pregnant at the same time and her bestie was also pregnant with her 1st at the same time as us, but then my SIL lost her baby at 20 weeks-I felt incredibly guilty and just gave her space. Understandably, she didn't want to see anyone for a while...it took time for her to heal emotionally. She now has a DD, (the 1st Birthday party I just went to last weekend!). Everyone has their own journey, so it is perfectly fine to be happy for yourself!!! I know from my SIL, she didn't talk about it a lot, but she definitely didn't want to be left out of anything...planning friend's baby showers etc. Depending on your friend's personality, she will most likely be very happy for you & only natural for her to sink inside a little when she hears the news. I def wouldn't let her find out from others first though, needs to be straight from you....maybe others have experience with the best way to approach it though.

Lola, glad you got into the OB! Hoping they can do an u/s to see what's going on. I have a feeling I have blocked tube or something...

I think the ups and downs are from sleeping in on Saturday/Sunday am (instead of my 445am wake up) and then on Tuesday of this week from drinking (I had a girls night at my house the night before and had 3.5 glasses of wine lol!). I did leave it with open circles so that I would remember to note that.

Thanks everyone for the support! I guess it's not over yet, but getting Plan B started...I just wish I could get into the dr even sooner!! What are thoughts on Clomid vs Femara? Anyone have issues with side effects or hyperovulation? Are they both good for a pink sway? I'm totally excited about the thought of twins and apparently having fertility issues...so taking it would be win-win! Just want to know what I'm getting myself into if I do take that route?!

Well Lola I will have my first on appointment (8weeks) the week before my birthday and I'm turning 30 so I think I'll be able to get the blood test [emoji322] [emoji322]!! I'm going to continue testing just in case...I had my BFP at 14dpo for the CP...of course I don't want that to be these case! For my boys-BFN 10dpo, BFP 11dpo. Before then, none of my hpts had even a trace of a 2nd line! In my head, I've already moved on & I'm just thinking of what my next step needs to be!

This happened to me with this pregnancy. It was very faint and I thought nothing of it since it happened after BDing. Then about 2 weeks later, I had an episode of red spotting that lasted for a few hours. It turned out, I had a vanishing twin.

I would wait and see what happens. If it will put your mind at ease, you can call them and have betas drawn. That will let you know if the pregnancy is viable.

Thank you xx I just got off the phone with them. They explained it's probably from BD it can start pink then turn brown and last a couple days. But she noted I did just have iud removed and minor cramping. Getting with the dr then calling me back. I feel kinda dumb calling but it's just so frustrating how can something be over as soon as it starts. And I know in my heart there's nothing they can do since I'm so early! I hate to call dh he's been having a bad workday and I don't want to upset him further. I'm so glad we have this place to vent

I hope so. The only other time I've ever had spotting or even bleeding was when I had my miscarriage. But I had been taking asprin so I'm sure that makes you more susceptible to it.

I couldn't help myself. I know my late morning samples are always stronger than first morning's. I think it's because of my LE diet and no food or fluid intake for several more hours. I hadn't been OPK testing, PG testing or temping prior to the ectopic. My IUD had just been removed and we were traveling. When I found out I was pregnant with each of my boys, I tested only because of symptoms. By the time I tested, they were glaring BFPs. So I really have no idea.

It was my first cycle. I hadn't had AF on the Mirena and then started bleeding off and on. So I just thought I was having AF when it was actually the ectopic. It was quite a bit of blood for a short portion of the day though and then it would just stop for a few days and then back on again. It was never light pink spotting. Mostly dark blood in clumps and was accompanied by gut pain and cramps in the middle of the night on several times.
But I don't want to scare you. Just keep an eye on it and definitely see if you can get bw done to check your levels.

Ash - Congrats! I would not worry about that little bit of spotting. I had that with DS1 at 4w and 5w because I over did walking. Take a rest from BDing though just in case it is irritating the cervix.

Yes dreamingella I got on the elliptical for a while I'm glad now that I skipped the weights. But also Monday when our basement flooded I did A LOT of work . Dr just called back they're convinced it's just from BD so I shouldn't worry about it. Just said to call back if it is bright red or I have severe cramping on one side or the other. So I will be buying stock in frer to make sure that lines getting darker.
My first ob appointment is June 16th so even better for the genetic testing because I turn 30 on the 12th.

I am 12w2d today. I am not wishing the weeks away. They seem to be going fast as it is. I just need a break from the ms for a day or so. It is starting to drain me.

At every scan we ask if there is more than one. It is funny. I have another scan on Monday and will do my Harmony test that day too! So excited to see this little one again.

I'm so happy lol! So what will you take in the morning? My wondfo was way more clear to see than the frer maybe because the wondfo has thicker lines. But I couldn't believe I got a pregnant on the digi but it really does make it more real and takes the guess work out. I would try the digi in the am [emoji12]

Im just hanging around waiting for AF. I did test this morning out of something to do and my IC gave a line again 😬😬

The rest were BFN. Opk was negative too. Im just wondering why my IC are throwing off lines. I did one at the beginning of my cycle and it did the same thing. Then a week later it was negative and now a line again. Maybe i should chuck them 🤔

I wish DH would just get the F on board already. Im so over it.

The bottom hpt is just a shadow from the plastic window of the test. Ive pulled both of those apart, no lines.

I ordered off ebay as we don't really have cheapies at the store. They are in date though. It would be a lottery win if i was pg anyway so im not putting to much stock on it. Plus I would have expected the frer to have a line too.

Its just frustrating when i don't want to use the expensive ones and the cheapie throws up a line 😂😂😂

Iwant4-I don't think it would hurt to start temping just to get a head start & see how things are looking.
AFM-I'm in shock over my shadow, but I'm going to need to POAS or 2 or 3?tomorrow to really believe it!! Crazy how it can go from completely blank to a faint line in the same day. Are wondfos ever known for false positives? The pic was taken right away, so not an evap line...

XX-ever so slightly pink. Hard to capture on camera. I'm so afraid of what happened last time though with my faint BFP & then CP. Didn't see that first line until 14dpo and it never got darker, so hoping that this is just an early line that will darken! You give me hope!

@Pbn – haha for the chart (might you be a chart stalker? :P) – I don’t know if I can load it in another format that might make it accessible for you - will try different things when I have a moment – having said that, nothing exciting happening here yet as am still on AF…. Seeing the tattooist on Friday, will take my mind of attempts until the end of AF and starting our EOD BD regime before actual attempts – eeeek!

@ Netti – you’re in Oz too? The IC is confusing eh? if you are pretty sure as to O, then is AF is due tomorrow, I would think the FRER would pick it up? BUT FX AF doesn’t rock up!

@Iwant4 – so sorry about your loss – I hope all goes well so you can go back to TTC asap and get a beautiful bub soon! Good to see you are so positive about it all… Will be thinking if you!

@Ash – spotting could just be due to continued implantation – can happen in the 1st weeks following conception – now, you had BD so that sounds like a very plausible explanation - usually they say it is ok unless it is bright red/pink (fresh) blood – FX all continues on well! It is really early too so that spotting could totally be normal – keep us posted!
As for your friend – and as someone who has suffered infertility herself I can say: don’t try to hide it from her. I found that more hurtful than anything, especially if you are close. She will be happy for you but of course, also sad for herself that her time hasn’t come yet – I have a dear friend who has been on that boat for well over 5-6 years, multiple IVFs and m/c – and they have now decided they are not going to try anymore and move on: with my last pregnancy, I waited until we had one on one time, and gently mentioned it (as in, not made it all about me, but almost casually mentioned it at the end of a girls’ lunch together, so as to not make too big a fuss of it either) – and let her guide me as to how much she wanted to hear about it all.

@Sky – I think you have a squinter!! but try again in the morning and you might have a better idea – can’t wait to hear about the next test :D

@Lola – that totally looks like it’s there – congrats!

@ Sumbal – an easy HE friendly brekkie you can prepare in advance is overnight oats? ;) You basically mix oats with milk (or liquid of your choice) with fruit, nuts or whatever you fancy, let it sit overnight and it’s ready to eat in the morning - maybe look into that? Google will provide you with heaaaps of ideas ;)
Or you could look at higher protein options too – like making a batch of frittata (eggs, cheese, spinach for instance) – and have slices ready to grab and eat?

LMSM lol notifications and the app really help. Eod is great attempts for boy I'm sure because we have always had a pretty frequent BD schedule and have all boys! I was always a bit of an unhealthy eater and up until just a couple years ago always had sweets for breakfast pop tart, toaster stroodle, cereal! Lol it was yummy at the time until I started eating healthy to lose weight!

Iwant4kids happy to hear it all went well. I wouldn't start temping until after next af. It's very risky to conceive the same cycle as d&c so I'd hold off trying until you have a period. Entirely up to you of course :)

Really!!! 😮😮😮 I'd clarify with him that he means cycle of d&c and not first cycle after because what of you ovulate in 2-3 weeks time???. D&c can be pretty rough on the cervix and uterus, I thought it'd need longer than that to fully heal? I've also trolled heaps and heaps of forums on conceiving after d&c (after I had one) and for every success there was a failure (miscarriage) when conceiving same cycle.... maybe I'm just being overly cautious because my ob made me wait three cycles AFTER the d&c cycle (which I thought was too long) just personally I wouldn't try until cycle after d&c. If your ob says it's fine and you feel comfortable doing so then ignore my worrying, I've likely read far too much (research freak 😂)

Iwant4kids - my experience is that I had a D & C as a "clean out" to try and fall pregnant with DD (our first). I ovulated 10 days after the surgery and of course the 1 time we had sex I fell pregnant. I swear it was so uncomfortable i kade him get off me and stop, apparrently he did finish though! Unfortunately i had a chemical and lost the pregnancy at 4 and a half weeks, and the doctor said I was still too "raw" in there from having the lining curetted and it needed a soft spongy thick one. I fell pregnant the next cycle though.
So I'm my opinion I would wait until you get your AF then try that cycle - save you the heartache like me. However, I didn't even think I would ovulate that close to the surgery so I thought there was no way of falling pregnant!

Sumbal, I don't have any symptoms. I never felt any with dd too. I tried to feel symptoms while trying for her and the months I felt something ended up
With bfn and the month of being clueless resulted in a bfp. I never feel anything at the time of O too.

Not always sky. A lot of people see a steady decrease or sudden drop 1-2 days prior however some (myself included a few times) maintained high temps until af arrived and continued until it was over (that was orally temping, I don't vaginally temp during af)

Like the ladies here, would tend to say a D&C requires some healing afterwards, especially considering the hormonal levels pregnancy brings...maybe try to recover from the surgery, wait for AF to return, and then ttc? I know you probably just want to move on and get pregnant asap, but you also want to give future Bub the best possible nest!

Speaking of nest...Had to explain to my 3.5 y.o this morning why mummy bleeds (she walked on me getting my cup just after my shower lol) so explained ladies build nests for a baby each month and if there isn't a baby that month, the nest is flushed away and a new one is build the month after and so on... you reckon that is ok as an explanation? We try to never lie or conceal, and she likes to understand how everything works ...she's been curious about all this since she saw my gigantic maternity pads at the hospital when her sister was born ��

Also, sooo hear you with the cute outfits.... can't wait to have a little man to dress �� But also tend to go a taaad overboard for the girls, I use the excuse it will be well amortised as E will inherit M's stuff ��

Anyways, must run, kiddos are in bed.. and I need adult time with hubby who's had a tough day at work :)

Lola try not to stress as your urine may habe just been more diluted or the test may not as been as sensitive as your first (they vary) I remember clearly getting a faint line one morning then bfn the next and was sooo upset and confused. Did a mere 2 hour hold and tested again and the line was obvious - still faint but definately darker than the first faint one and obvious in a pic. Fwiw I can still se something on your frer and wondfo :) so maybe try and hold now, completely restrict fluids then retest in a few hours?

Lolla - I see a progression on your wondfos and ur opk are quite dark. I see a faint line on frer too. I think we should wait a little longer to test.

I hope you're right about me being a day behind you-that does make me feel better! I've never seen lines on my hcg wondfos before, not even evap lines in the past. Hoping it's just still early. Want this more than anything!! I have a few signs-def frequent urination even if I don't drink anything, tingling bb's, smell everything & my stomach has this empty/hungry feeling like there is this huge gaping hole. How should my cervix feel? Last I checked, it seemed soft & maybe a little higher-not sure about open/closed. New at this, so don't have really good before/after comparisons.
LMSM-love your AF explanation! Even my little boys notice haha. My 3 year old is potty trained and when taking him to the bathroom last AF, I went potty after him & of course he had to look in the potty lol. He said "Do you have a booboo mommy?" I could not think of anything creative like you LMSM & just left it at "yes baby" haha.

Just found my chart from my last D&C for ruptured ovarian cyst from the mirena. Didn't take too long to get AF.
I have such light spotting no bleeding at all!
