Hi everyone and thank you so much for the well wishes ❤ I'm not sure but I don't think I've split the nail - too hard to tell with all the blood underneath. Had to sleep on the recliner last night as my toe kept seeping blood but by 3.30am my back was killing me and I'd had enough so went and slept in ds1 bed (he was sleeping with dad) Up again at 7.30am and getting all the usual morning things done to get ds1 to school as my third leg (oh by that I mean my husband) is useless and actually asked me this morning in a questioning voice "is your toe still sore?" 😩😠 right now I feel like amputing said third leg...

Xxforhubby omg that's terrible (but kinda funny and I feel awful saying that but it is a little) I cant imagine how your mil felt and knowing you I bet you were more concerned with her feelings than your own pain ❤

I have a busy morning but I'll be back about lunch time to catch up and respond to a few things :)

Oh forgot to mention I had a dream that I lost this pregnancy. The hospital staff were being really horrible. I was crying and explaining that it cant be as this was my last chance and they were calling me 'sooky Rose' or something like that while telling me to get ready to do a d&c. I said I was going to report them to the director of the hospital then suddenly an older male doctor in full scrubs appeared and said "I'll be taking over from here" 😂😂😂 so corny!! (my ob was no where in sight??) Anyway it was a terrible dream but has pulled my head back in abit as I've been daydreaming about my boys feeling bub move and meeting him/her for the first time...

Oh my Pbn3! I hate to say it, but I think you may end up losing that toenail. It may take it a bit, since the quick and the nail matrix needs to heal first. If you do lose it, it will gradually slough off (its kind of gross when that happens [emoji13]).

Sky- I had to brace it for 2.5 weeks and then I had to keep it wrapped for an additional week to prevent the toe from healing crooked. It was broken at the top knuckle and the middle bone.

Pbn3- We laugh about it now! I did my best to hide how much pain I was in. After they left, I couldn't stop crying. I was in a ridiculous amount of pain though until I went in and was prescribed Vicodin.

Pbn: ouch that looks awful. Did you take any med to help with the pain? My dh always know how and when to say the wrong thing too lol. And it is no fun when you are hurt.

I think you have been so worry from the beginning, hence the dream. This is your one super sticky baby. We are all praying hard for you. This baby is not going anywhere till 9 months later!

And to update you guys, I had some spottings. I will cautiously celebrate till af actually comes.

Thanks everyone my toe will be fine but I do think I'll lose the nail as xxforhubby said :)

I took 2 panadol a couple hours after it happened yesterday but have been ok since. Plus I think I was worried about taking anything (even though its deemed safe) hence the bad dream 😂

Just took forever to get the paperwork done for my new phone to be sent away for repair but glad its done. Just sat down for a decaf and fish & chips before tackling the groceries 😜

I still haven't done my morning chart stalk 😮😮😮😮 but will et there asap.

Lola, I got the osom today and I actually took one today just to get a baseline. I started wondering if my wondfos always have a faint second line since mine did, so just making sure this was a stark white when negative. And I have 24 more left so I'll start testing early this cycle. [emoji322]

I'm CD15 today...nothing exciting going on. Some cramping, nothing special. My opk is getting lighter, so that's annoying. I really hope I don't have a delayed O this cycle. DH was so sweet and told me that he switched work flights to be back one night next week since he's supposed to be out of town for 5 days. So we can get one attempt in at min next week, which is better than nothing. Thought that was sweet of him to change it without me asking anything about it. He woke up this morning saying that he was excited about the possibility of another little girl...and that he has naming rights (yaaaah right, but I'll let him keep thinking that LOL!).

Skyblue - It’s pretty busy at my house today. I’m cleaning and packing. We are heading down to Waikiki in the morning for my birthday tomorrow :) My 5 yr old loves birthdays even when it’s not his lol. He’s always super excited to celebrate. I never make a big deal about my bday, so this year we decided to have a “Slumber Party” at the hotel :) I’m on cd8.. I know its early but something told me to start opk so I started yesterday. Phew – back at the office and at a PC so can more easily read and type ;)
I hope that none of you had any loved ones in London – I had a massive panic attack before I heard back from my little brother – he lives in London and was in the city that night – fortunately he was ok, and was on his way home in a cab, but took him hours to get back …just the 30-60 minutes in which I had no news was killing me – I know we can’t stop living because of this, but I am so over it! Even when I was away in Sydney I was on high alert with my surroundings (didn’t help that one of the presos we had during the conference was around terrorism etc)…hate feeling like you can’t ever fully relax…
Anyways, on a more positive note - here’s to hoping I can get my novel typed up before noon and before you add like 5 more pages (making my comments irrelevant lol).

PBN – I just realise I think I missed your birthday so happy belated birthday my lovely!!! ❤
Ouch for your toe – that hurts like hell and looks like you cut it pretty bad! Has the pain subsided you poor thing? Panadol is fine in moderation in pregnancy (it’s Nurofen and other anti-inflammatories you need to avoid) – I hope that it’s enough to get you through!
I keep crossing fingers that your OB was just being overly cautious given your history, and if nothing else will just give you another opportunity to see that beautiful baby growing! I can so sympathise with the nightmares – I had zillions of them especially in the 1st trimester with both my girls – every single night waking up crying…plain horrible! I think it is healthy though as it allows you to verbalise/visualise your fears (albeit in a non-realistic way at times! Lol), rather than keep it locked up – catharsis is good!
(oh and saw you were asking about my level temps during AF – I don’t actually take my temp I just put a number in there for the sake of it– I used to temp during Af (so I know my base level temp the first days of my cycle is around that 36.5C)but have stopped that the last few cycles, not keen when not really relevant – so I started on CD 7 this time ;) )

Lola – what a beautiful announcement to your hubby, and what beautiful beautiful progression, so reassuring! Seems you can’t get any darker on those tests, soo much hcg :D ^^ those OSOMs seem like they are the bomb – I checked and they don’t deliver to Oz – shame! Would have loved the opportunity to get some tests sensitive and clear as those ;)
I think you were asking about my business trip – all went well thanks - just long days, but got lots of blue friendly foods in so on that front was great haha – my youngest took a while to settle for her dad (1.5h to get her to bed, seems she kept getting up calling for me, checking at the window if I was coming home – good Dh didn’t tell me, would have broken my heart knowing she was so lost without her mama! But man is she cuuuute – and when I came home, the way they rushed in excitement to greet me, just THE. BEST.)

Ash – yeah for the NIPT! Can’t wait for your appointment on Friday - :D I think here you just pay for it but you don’t need a doctor’s referral as it is not covered by Medicare at all. Is it very expensive in the US? When I enquired about it here it’s about $450-500 I think.

Dreaming – did you try the seabands at all for your MS? If so did it help? (I wish I hadn’t lost one of them, as one won’t do the trick and can be pretty sure when preggers that I will be desperate for them)

Iwant 4 – here’s to hoping for you the swimmers met the egg! When will you start poas??

Maxim- so how are the opks progressing hon?! It’s awesome to not have that time pressure added to everything – plus Dh onboard to try the Clomid next cycle already, plus the RE’s support – win win! ^^
How cute to have your Dh excited like that, and to spontaneously make changes to his flights to allow for an attempt – ❤

Nacire – glad to see that vag temping is already showing some results :D I can see PBN already was on it and told you it was ok to switch when you did considering how early in the cycle it was ^^ we’re pretty close (you’ll be CD9 on Monday right? Am Cd11 and it’s Monday here already) along with Max, as to where we sit cycle day wise – so we’ll likely start testing around the same time – FX we all get onboard the BFP boat!
I can imagine being in Hawaii would be heavenly ;) I already quite like our subtropical lifestyle here in Australia - :D

My DD1 actually ‘told’ me I was preggers before I had taken a test- she was not even 18 m.o then and came in to give me a morning cuddle, patted my belly softly saying ‘baby baby’, and walked off – next day I took a test that led to what is now her baby sister – so in tune ❤ !! I know we will have to wait as long as possible here as my chatterboxes will dob me in otherwise lol – with my last we announced it just shy of 20 weeks (and I could finally let the belly pop out haha – am rather superstitious and so worried before getting to that mid mark- though I do not worry doesn’t prevent danger – and worrying doesn’t stop bad from happening – it just stops from enjoying the little miracle that it is…).

My opks were negative and very light still yesterday (will take pics tonight just didn’t get a chance to put them up here) – so kinda hoping my O will be a bit later than last cycle (am CD11 today Monday, and O’d on CD13 last time) to allow hubs so time to get back in shape– but with short surges it could change fast…
Hubby was in bed most of the WE – I booked him to see the doc this Am so hoping he will get over this man flu ASAP – if nothing else because he is a pain (and I am being kind here) when sick (like most husbands I think lol) – plus I need him in shape, like n.o.w lol
Am sooo nervous about trying now though – worried his swimmers won’t be any good – we haven’t BD’d more than once so far this cycle (Thursday PM) – so hope I can maybe manage one BD tonight (tmi but may have to erm wake him up and let us have a half asleep BD, usually works well as he doesn’t oppose with any resistance whatsoever haha) before the opks turn positive – and that he will be fit for attempts….I know nothing will ever be perfect, but I am worried my efforts for a blue bundle will be crushed by him being unwell like that :( but I don’t want to delay - am soooo ready to be pregnant - or I will always have something in the way…
When I asked him if he was up for it last night – he said “up for what?” - “well, duh, make a baby?!” – he was “ oh, well not tonight I’m siiiick” with a big smile (and cough) lol useless I tell ya rofl

LMSM - I’m hoping it looks less erratic.. Tomorrow will be CD9 for me. I started temping yesterday, because my cycles have been either longer than normal or a whole week shorter. Fingers crossed this is our month to get that BFP :) I’m kinda nervous because my husband just got home a little over a week ago (he was away for 3 months), and I kinda relaxed on the diet :( I still drink only coffee in the am, no snacking, I eat dinner by 6pm and nothing till about noon the next day. I was on a very strict vegetarian diet before he got home. I’ve had some meat here and there.. I hope I’m not ruining my sway chances… We’ve been throwing around the idea of a Vaca in Australia. It’s not very expensive to fly there, but extremely expensive for us to fly back to the mainland from here. My hubs been to Australia. I would love to see Australia!

LMSM: i am glad your brother is okay. I feel sad on what the world has become. I remember growing not worrying or hearing much at all about bombing and terrorist attacks. Now they are everywhere. We cant stop living but it is so hard to fully enjoy life without constanstly worrying and checking and being on high alert all the time. I pray that all these will stop soon so we, our families and others can once live in peace. My heart breaks every time i hear these news.

Skyblue - We plan on bringing cupcakes, and junk food, popcorn. Hang at the beach and hotel pool. Hit up some food trucks, and watch movies in our rooms. I captioned the picture with “ Surround yourself with people who are more excited about your Birthday than you are “. Will your daughter be starting kindergarten this fall or did she just graduate? Skyblue - We plan on bringing cupcakes, and junk food, popcorn. Hang at the beach and hotel pool. Hit up some food trucks, and watch movies in our rooms. Lola my toe is getting better thank you 😀 now have to wait for the nail to fall off 😷 I'm hoping its good to put weight on by the weekend as me and the boys are going to my mums 😊 I had just bought a new fitness mat same shopping as the darn tins if dog food 😂 so I could begin a fitness dvd thats a mixture of yoga, pilates and tai chi. I have put on sooooo much weight that from today I'm going on a strict 1800 calorie diet (recommended for 1st trimester pregnancy) and because my ob said no strenuous exercise, intercourse or heavy lifting I needed something I could do physical wise 😂 which I'm hoping I can start at mums!

I'm going to space my food so I'm eating 5 times a day in the hopes it will stip me gorging 😂😂 thank god for my jarrah hot chocolate that is only 49 calories a serve!!! Although I add a tiny dash if milk so its a little bit more than that but still very low for a delicious drink.

Nacire - Wow. I love the movie collection. I liked split and Get out of here. Recently watched both and have u seen Nocturnal Animals. Loved that one too. I just read somewhere yesterday that kind kids make kind adults and we could use that kindness in times like these and I thought wow. That's so true. My dd is as emotional and so loving. Oh how cute is your little boy, what a kind and generous soul <3 - I can only imagine your boy’s 1st haircut, it does make them look so much more grown up – my youngest is a goldilocks but doesn’t have much hair at the front but this WE I managed to get 2 little piggie tails on the top of her head, made her look bigger and oh so friggin’ cute :D I do not want to cut her hair any time soon, just love her locks so much, when her bangs get too long will just pop on a hairclip :D
My eldest is likely going to start Prep in January (start of the school year here) – which is integrated into Primary school – she will be 4.5y.o – she is a July baby so in principle would not have been eligible to start until Jan 19 but she would have been bored out of her mind – so because she is eligible to be on the waiting list (had she been born 2 days later would not have been possible), we are looking at having her start in 2018 – but at the same time, my little girl will be on the other side of the fence, so grown up and in the system….she is looking forward to it so much but I am torn ...like any Mum I think! ;)

PBN – Oh you’ve been told no intercourse either? :( is Dh coping ok? Lol
(when pregnant my libido is crap – much to Dh’s despair - so I didn’t miss it when I was told to abstain – especially with my 2nd, had a hematoma so it was a fraught first 20 weeks – do hope for you that you can go back to living as normally as one can when pregnant ;)).

Admittedly, I did enjoy a few hours for myself when I was away last week – just going to the loo or showering alone is a luxury I rarely get haha

As for here, we managed a half-a**ed BD session but we did get it in – figure it got him a release before pos opk, so hopefully the next batch (which may likely be 1st attempt, hopefully pos opk Wednesday so we have 48hrs between BDs) will be in a better shape haha
So excited and can’t wait for attempts – and then the actual waiting to start poas :D :D :D it’s funny how it goes, how someone that has literally spent years TTC (2 y for Dd1 and 18m for DD2 – and then only fell pregnant because both were medicated cycles) can get so impatient at cycle 2 – I don’t know how I will cope if it’s a bfn this cycle and have to do it all again – terrible, I know lol

I did drink a lot of coffee before I conceived her, but I snacked all the time. So really I think it was luck of the drawl. Although I did weigh less than I did with the boys. And I gained weight before I conceived all my boys. I never exercised before I conceived any of them. So really changed my whole lifestyle to conceive our last baby.

Mummy2apples – I reckon you’re still in the game with those temps - still early! Most ladies here didn’t get a bfp until 9dpo or later – and this was an evening sample too, right? tomorrow morning will be much better to test :D

Oh you’re a sweetie Lola – I certainly hope this will be our month even with life getting in the way – the fact that I (hopefully) will get pregnant without medication and relatively fast would be a very good indicator that my sway did me good :D so FX!
Before even TTC I was looking at what could be tweaked, improved and so forth – and after our 1st failed cycle, figured small changes may help get the balance in the right direction so worth it to have no regrets, regardless of the outcome – that’s the way I tried to look at last cycle – the silver lining was to have a chance at doing better next time round… :D
Look at you, you perfected your TTC and sway in those 5 months and now FX that you have a healthy bundle (those lines progressing certainly seem to indicate that!) – and sending all my pink dust to you too!

Thanks Sky! Yep, he has a lazy eye they are hoping the glasses will fix. Surprisingly he does really good with keeping them on! We go back the 16th to see if his eye is better. They mentioned surgery before, but I'm going to mention the patch to them for 6 weeks at first!

Skyblue - We didn’t get to see any of the movie collection we had lined up :( The hotel televisions wouldn’t connect to our Mac. I was a little disappointed but they still had tons of channels to watch. I’ve never seen Nocturnal Animals, but it sound super interesting. I will have to look for that one. LMSM - Ughhhh!!! We got to the hotel and we should have had one room with a King bed, and the 2nd room 2 Queen beds. Well We got 2 rooms with 2 Queen beds. I was extremely upset but they didn’t have anything left conjoining to make it up to us. They did offer late check out, and free breakfast which is a plus. I just envisioned laying in the King bed and I didn’t get it at all :( I’m still laying in the hotel bed as I’m typing. My kiddos and hubs are all sleeping. We enjoyed the beach and hotel pool. Dinner could have been better. We went to a food truck we’ve been over a year ago when we first got to the Island. Well it wasn’t the way we remember it being. Cupcakes couldn’t have been better!
We are all torn when they start school. I think it’s just a natural feeling for us as mothers.. You have to do whats best. My oldest is one of the oldest in class because he missed the cut off. I was so upset he couldn’t start school with all the other kids. Fast forward now I’m happy he missed it because he really wasn’t ready.

I guess I will start by saying I lived a very pro girl lifestyle before discovering swaying.

Since being on my sway, I have given up coffee and sweets entirely (with the exception of dark chocolate, which I never ate before), been very strict with myself on the HE diet, taking vitamins, and lifting weights occasionally (but working outside multiple days a week). I've also stopped smoking and drinking. I've also purchased preseed, just incase (after beginning on the HE diet I have much more ewcm than before, but bd is still uncomfortable, like I don't have it when I actually need it?).

Dh has put on a little weight after he stopped smoking Marijuana (after our 2nd daughter was born) but he then took to drinking. He takes vitamins for me and we changed out bd pattern to more boy friendly. He eats *slightly* healthier.

What concerns me is his smoking cigarettes, but I have to let that go because that won't change. However now (1 week from our first attempt) he's binge drinking every night. I'm not sure how much this affects the sway, and if it was just drinking, I wouldn't be so worried. But with adding drinking to the smoking--and so close to our first attempt--it really has me freaking out.

I'm just trying to get opinions, do you think our progress outweighs the smoking and drinking, or is it too risky?? Should I feel confident in trying in a week, or skip this month and wait for July? Or does it even make a difference since sperm take 70+ days to mature?

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Ttc: I guess I can tell you with my boys, I gained weight before each of them, was very snacky, didn't workout, and rather enjoyed my sweets and junk food. Loved all the red meat! Lived a very unhealthy lifestyle. My personal opinion I would go for it, because you have changed your lifestyle for the better. I don't want to say that and then you get an opposite. There's always a chance of that unfortunately, even if your sway is 100 percent...

Hi and welcome ttcblue! Wow sounds like you have a lot on your plate atm!! I have never heard of sperm taking 70+ days to mature 😮 my understanding was if a man has released then he starts regenerating new swimmers immediately hence the very popular bd pattern of eod during fertile window advised by the medical world worldwide (most obs will recommend this and if you Google how to get pregnant quick it will say the same)..... that allows 48 hours for sperm recovery/build up to happen. I will look into more now but I researched sperm recovery times quite a bit way back when and never came across anything about sperm maturing. Interesting and will be looking into it today :)

Sounds like you are doing fantastic on your side of things which really is the most important! While it doesn't help having dh smoke I agree that you should just accept it as its out of your control. Plus I've known lots of men who have boys that were/are smokers. As for the drinking is there a reason why he's suddenly binge drinking? Maybe try and talk to him about how he is feeling. I only say that because in my experience many binge drinkers are doing so because of how they are feeling (coming from someone who has binge drunk themselves). I'm not sure how much coffee and alcohol sway so I personally wouldn't skip a cycle. I was a big coffee drinker and drank quite a bit of alcohol when I conceived my boys. BUT my diet was heavily HE (I realize now), we had two attempts, and I had been exercising and was feeling really fit in the months prior to conceiving. The thing is one or two things are not going to make or break your sway. I've seen the most rigid, 110% sways fail. There is no guarantee but also no harm in trying to lean towards a particular gender. You need to look at what you've achieved yourself, be proud and know you've done your best! Try and think of dh's actions like this - he's willing to ttc (many dh's aren't or put an unfair time limit on things) he's taking vitamins . (again many dh's wont have a bar of any type of swaying) so if he is relaxed and is healthy regardless of the smokes and alcohol then I say go for it! You never know what is around the corner. What if something happens next cycle that makes you want to skip again? Where do you draw the line? That's my very long winded opinion anyway but I'm not swaying so it's easy for me to say all this I suppose. I do hope you hear from some more blue swayers and that it will ease your mind 💙

ttcblue - I will second all that Pbn3 said. I have many many many (ok 5) boys and will tell you that I believe your diet makes a world of difference! You are on the right track and no month will be a perfect sway. Just go for it, pray (or think positive thoughts) and only TTC if you will be ok with an opposite. Your DH has made changes as well. But again, I am with Pbn3 and think you should ask DH what is going on with him since you noticed the binge drinking. That is one thing that stood out for me in your post. It is a red flag. Just want to make sure you and your family are safe and in a good place to TTC.

Hi and welcome ttcblue! Wow sounds like you have a lot on your plate atm!! I have never heard of sperm taking 70+ days to mature �� my understanding was if a man has released then he starts regenerating new swimmers immediately hence the very popular bd pattern of eod during fertile window advised by the medical world worldwide (most obs will recommend this and if you Google how to get pregnant quick it will say the same)..... that allows 48 hours for sperm recovery/build up to happen. I will look into more now but I researched sperm recovery times quite a bit way back when and never came across anything about sperm maturing. Interesting and will be looking into it today :)

Sounds like you are doing fantastic on your side of things which really is the most important! While it doesn't help having dh smoke I agree that you should just accept it as its out of your control. Plus I've known lots of men who have boys that were/are smokers. As for the drinking is there a reason why he's suddenly binge drinking? Maybe try and talk to him about how he is feeling. I only say that because in my experience many binge drinkers are doing so because of how they are feeling (coming from someone who has binge drunk themselves). I'm not sure how much coffee and alcohol sway so I personally wouldn't skip a cycle. I was a big coffee drinker and drank quite a bit of alcohol when I conceived my boys. BUT my diet was heavily HE (I realize now), we had two attempts, and I had been exercising and was feeling really fit in the months prior to conceiving. The thing is one or two things are not going to make or break your sway. I've seen the most rigid, 110% sways fail. There is no guarantee but also no harm in trying to lean towards a particular gender. You need to look at what you've achieved yourself, be proud and know you've done your best! Try and think of dh's actions like this - he's willing to ttc (many dh's aren't or put an unfair time limit on things) he's taking vitamins . (again many dh's wont have a bar of any type of swaying) so if he is relaxed and is healthy regardless of the smokes and alcohol then I say go for it! You never know what is around the corner. What if something happens next cycle that makes you want to skip again? Where do you draw the line? That's my very long winded opinion anyway but I'm not swaying so it's easy for me to say all this I suppose. I do hope you hear from some more blue swayers and that it will ease your mind ��

I read online that after sperm "form" they hang out in the testes for approximately 73 days to mature before they are actally released.. i dont know exactly, that's just what i found on google lol.

That's another worry, is that every time something isn't perfect I will back out. I don't think anything is bothering him, he was just invited out with some friends he hadn't seen in years, then the day after we had a wedding to attend, and thursday-sunday well be on vacation so i know he will be drinking every night, and it just so happens that I'm expecting o on Monday or very shortly after.

My hubby has actually put a limit on things :/ I have only 3 cycles to ttc and if it doesn't happen, we won't have another baby. He has told me he thinks having a boy would be cool, which it why he's willing to take the vitamins, but the thought of 3 children scares him and he had flat out told me he doesn't want another. 3 cycles was our compromise.

Ttc: I guess I can tell you with my boys, I gained weight before each of them, was very snacky, didn't workout, and rather enjoyed my sweets and junk food. Loved all the red meat! Lived a very unhealthy lifestyle. My personal opinion I would go for it, because you have changed your lifestyle for the better. I don't want to say that and then you get an opposite. There's always a chance of that unfortunately, even if your sway is 100 percent...

Thank you for this! I was starting to worry about eating the dark chocolate daily too, because I ate nothing BUT chocolate and junk with my girls. Literally no veggies or meat and rarely fruit! Crazy right!? I was all about the coffee and carbs and somehow never gained weight. So I guess I'm being silly worrying about a dark chocolate mounds bar on a daily basis lol! Naci - I hear ya with the lazing around in a king bed – shame that didn’t happen – looks amazing though, the coast here looks quite similar :D and yum those cupcakes, my kind of Bday! Sounds like though not everything was to a T like you had hoped you still had a great time :D
My DD2 will likely be like your oldest, she is an end of September baby so will likely be one of the oldest when she starts school (cut off end of June) but am less concerned – she is spot on in terms of development for her age etc so she will maybe be less bored by not starting school as early than her big sister, whom has always been rather precocious with everything (think walking at 8 months, talking with sentences at 15 etc lol).

Max – definitely getting closer sweetie, that egg is getting readyyyyyy! :D

Mommy2apples – definitely try to get a patch on your little boy’s eye – I had a lazy eye and that’s what we did for me – I was about 2, and I remember the discomfort (but at least now these days you can get funky looking ones - mine where just the band-aid beige color lol) but I can control my eye now so it doesn’t stray – worth it to avoid surgery in my mind for sure :D

Gah nooooo! Hello & welcome ttcblue18! We're a chatty bunch & all of the ladies here are awesome! I have 2 boys and firmly believe that I unknowingly swayed blue. I've always naturally had a low protein, low fat vegetarian diet, but always ate a light breakfast, snacked instead of big meals & loved boy friendly foods such as dried cereal, potatoes & oatmeal. For DS1, I was doing cardio & weights with a personal trainer & had just stopped taking birth control. I did research on what could help me get pregnant fast, so I took the supp FertileCM 1-2x times a day from AF to BFP (not recommended by Atomic though), took soy isoflavones CD 3-7 hoping for twins and used a small amount of preseed. You sound like you have your sway on track! I got DH smoking for my girl sway, but from what I've been hearing, it doesn't make a huge difference...just one of those things that could help in addition to everything else, so I wouldn't worry & def don't skip as others have said. Max-feeling great...just the typical early stuff: Fatigue, tingly boobs, frequent urination & strong smells. Officially have missed AF. I had terrible MS with DS1 and MS only here & there with DS2...curious about this time. Did you have bad MS with your girls? I know it's an old wives tale to have the worst MS with girls, but I don't believe in those wives tales!! My friend had a baby girl & no MS!! How awesome for your DH to fly home for a rendezvous...that's awesome that he knows how much you want this, so he's trying to make it happen. As my OB said...try to enjoy the process. I started a few days ago because I noticed my cycles go from long to short in a pattern kinda sorta.. There is no egg white present only watery.

You mean I recommended starting opks at cd10 not charting lol and now that you mention it I do!! Lucky you started even earlier! You won't always see ewcm especially on the le diet. If you're concerned its too early would you be happy with a bd tomorrow am? If you're really undecided then can I suggest flipping a coin? Heads you bd tonight, tails you bd in morning. Sometimes it comes down to making a decision and being happy with it. I used the coin flip many times when undecided as I liked to think it was the 'universe' deciding for me and I would be happy just to have the decision taken out of my hands 😂

I had a 85-90% dark chocolate square after lunch and dinner with my DS1 and DS2 (my DS3 was a sway opposite)! It is high in phytonutrients and low in fat, which is perfect for a blue sway!

It means 85-90% dark chocolate- the pure kind. I love the bar by Lindt. It's very high quality and doesn't have a bitter taste at all! The dark chocolate mound bars should be ok as long as your not having several of them. I had a sweet tooth when TTCing my DS3 so you should be ok!

Ttc, I know it sounds crazy to sway for another girl after having 2 DD's, but I'm from a family of 4 girls and we are all extremely close...I absolutely love the sister bond that we have and really wish for that for my daughters. We would also have a large age gap between the two girls (they are only 19 months apart) and a 3rd (they would be 6 & 8 when/if DD3 was born). There's 0% chance that DH will go for #4, so just thought a boy would feel alienated with a large gap and no same sex siblings. Maybe that's crazy, but I do love having girls and would love to have one more daughter. My sisters also have a very similar diet, exercise, and lifestyle as me and all have boys, so I feel like there's reason for me to sway this time around.

I had quite strong MS with both girls – never really vomited much but most of the time wish I could because felt like that would have been making it easier – feeling on the verge of being sick 24/7 was horrendous – that I am not looking forward to lol

Nacire I'd see how your temps looks Thursday and Friday mornings to see if they indicate o has likely happened but as Lola said it wouldn't hurt to do another bd on Friday just in case, especially if your temps dont support o has happened :) and by all means j&d Fridays attempt if that makes you feel better but hopefully you won't need to worry about it as an attempt as fx we see a nice rise Thursday or Friday morning!

LMSM my only worry would be you end up with a pos opk tomorrow after bding tonight then end up with 4 attempts in a row again. From memory last cycle your pos opk was clearly positive and you oed the next day. Being so close I would hold off and wait to do 3 attempts at pos opk which is hopefully tomorrow (or today??!! You haven't tested yet I just realised - its only 12!!)

Nacire I wouldn't j&d tonight's attempt as it can really cut odds of conception and if you've been on the le diet for awhile already you may find it harder to stick to as time goes on. What you're looking for on Thursday/Friday is a spike in temp. If it spikes Thursday, we want to see it stay around the same or higher Friday :) Don't worry I'll be stalking your chart and will give you a daily run down of what I think whether you want one or not 😂😂😂😂😂

Nacire-I wouldn't J&D tonight since it's your one attempt. Friday is a backup just in case you haven't seen a temp rise by then. If you BD tonight & see a temp rise on Thurs or Fri, then you know you've already o'ed. In my case, I think I caught my rise early in the AM on it's way up. I was thinking I O'd but still got another attempt in anyway 3 days later. You can J&D at that time to ease your mind adding an attempt 3 days later, but likely it won't make a difference or at least that's what I'm thinking...

Pbn3 - Okay so make my late night attempt, and don't J&D tonight. But if I do make my second attempt on Friday I should J&D that day? I have been very persistent on the LE, but since hubs came home I have allowed meat here and there. I know there aren't any forbidden foods just limits. I'm sure I haven't went over any limits. I still stick to fasting between Lunch and dinner, and no snacking, coffee, and wine at night. My hubs got hurt a month ago and has been taking Robaxin, and Tylenol with Codine, and Ibuprofen 800 mgs. Should I worry with this? I think I read it sways in my favor but trying to get any worries out..

Nacire I have no idea about if or how painkillers and anti inflammatories affect a sway when taken by dh... I will ask this though - would you skip a cycle just because of one small thing that isn't proven to sway either way??? I definitely would not be worried about it, stressing about these little things is totally normal now you've arrived at 'go time' but try as hard as you can to relax, kick back and enjoy :)

Lola answered exactly as I would have :) the j&d on friday was only for your peace of mind. If you have a temp spike indicating o likely happened either wednesday or thursday then a bd on friday won't even matter. I wouldn't j&d on friday however if there has been no sustained rise. Figured we'd just cross that bridge if it comes :)

It means 85-90% dark chocolate- the pure kind. I love the bar by Lindt. It's very high quality and doesn't have a bitter taste at all! The dark chocolate mound bars should be ok as long as your not having several of them. I had a sweet tooth when TTCing my DS3 so you should be ok!

Okay that's what I thought but how do you know what % it is? I have a mounds candy bar every day, but only 1. I checked calories, fat and carbs and it's almost equal to dove dark chocolate promises of that makes sense.. same fat but slightly more calories and carbs. I understand, I was born with a sweet tooth!

Ttc, I know it sounds crazy to sway for another girl after having 2 DD's, but I'm from a family of 4 girls and we are all extremely close...I absolutely love the sister bond that we have and really wish for that for my daughters. We would also have a large age gap between the two girls (they are only 19 months apart) and a 3rd (they would be 6 & 8 when/if DD3 was born). There's 0% chance that DH will go for #4, so just thought a boy would feel alienated with a large gap and no same sex siblings. Maybe that's crazy, but I do love having girls and would love to have one more daughter. My sisters also have a very similar diet, exercise, and lifestyle as me and all have boys, so I feel like there's reason for me to sway this time around

Oh no that doesn't sound crazy at all, I totally understand and I love it! I feel the same way, wanting my kids close in age that is. I dont want my girls who are bound at the hip to exclude the 3rd child because they don't want to play with a baby. I think thats a great way for blue swayers who already have 1+ girls to view a failed sway too! Good luck!! :)

I can understand illness may sway pink for the women as its a less hospitable environment as such but the male being sick? Unless there's proof/study that shows their sperm is of lesser quality somehow when ill? Can you post me a link to your thread so I can see what she said as I'm really interested to see 😀 You bded a couple days ago so his swimmers would be nice and fresh in that sense! How are you feeling about things? Do you feel you should hold off as well? How is dh feeling now?

I wouldn't skip either plus I understand there's no evidence to support antibiotics sway blue but that must mean there's also no evidence it sways pink?? To me its one of those 'unknowns' that shouldn't even really have a say but that's just my opinion and I could be way off 😑 I also wouldn't worry about not having much bd in the lead up as from what I can gather eod isn't the recommendation as many dh's may not be able to keep this up whereas 3 attempts at pos opk seems to be.... if you bd regularly or in other times of your cycle then I'm sure that would count. Plus you've already had two bds this cycle which is great! Save dh's energy now for three at pos opk!

Replied to pm LMSM :) now that I'm looking at your opk though I'm abit torn.... that is definitely close but not quite positive. Have you got a pic of last cycles opks together? My only worry is jumping the gun... I know you said a morning bd would be very hard to wrangle but could you possibly set an alarm and get up prior to usual wake time to get it done? Just this once? So an attempt the night of pos opk (which will be tomorrow surely) an early morning bd the morning after pos opk and again that night? I just think your first attempt with hubbys 'full load' would be better closer to o for conception. You gotta do what you gotta do though so if what I've said doesn't work for you then stick to what does and start you 3 x pm attempts tonight :)

I don't work Fridays so could poteeeeentially squeeze in said BD in the AM, and just BD tomorrow..though that will be 72hrs since last BD by then (which is still ok I think).
I don't have a pic of the opks from last cycle bar the almost pos (cd10 pm then cd11 am and' pm) and the blazing pos(cd12 am I think it was?!)

My oldest will be 4 in October and my youngest will be 2 in September. Ideally I wanted all my kids within 2 years apart, but it took some time for dh and I to compromise, with him not wanting another child. So when or if I get my third, he/she will be at least 2 and a half years younger.
