Pbn, Lola, LMSM, Naci.. Anyone know how to go about fish oil after bfp? I take a huge 1200 MG soft gel every other day. The only other things I take are prenatal, folic acid (which I know to stay on until 12 weeks before weaning off) and a probiotic. So it's just the fish oil I'm not sure about.

Ttc-wow, didn't even think about you being due April would put you in a diff ddg! Any chance you may deliver a little earlier? I always have c-sections & deliver a week earlier. Since you're right on the March/April border, you could always double-dip groups haha. Many double-dip, even triple-dip here lol! My prenatal has DHA in it, but fish free plant . Maybe someone else can chime in b/c I'm not sure about the fish oil? I was thinking it would be recommended since many prenatals have Omega-3's in them...just not sure of dosage.

Mummy-AF was late...no sign of it, but the lines just never got any darker on my frer. I woke up one morning with heavy flow AF & then the lines faded [emoji22]I'll see if I can find the pic...really hope & pray this doesn't happen to you!

Lola, I really don't think I will go before April.. I'm very against induction/C-section unless it's medically necessary.. Not judging anyone else of course, just don't like the idea of it for myself. It kinda scares me. Dd2 was 10 days over due and my doctor said (although nobody knows why) your chances of going over due are greatly increased if you've gone over due in a previous pregnancy. I mean i guess anything is possible, but I'm really expecting it to be April. I figured I would just join the April ddg and continue chatting with you ladies in this group too. :)

So happy you got an AM attempt in and I had actually asked last night if you were going to get another in today buy didn't want to stress you out in case it wasnt possible so removed it [emoji23]. With two temp spikes last cycle its great for 'just in case' but I really think your AM attempt cd14 has nailed this cycle [emoji3] I want to apologise too for not having my head properly in this. I cant believe I forgot to ask how your wondfos were looking in the pm. It may have reminded you then or at least would have seen you try with the digi again last night but my brain has been switched off [emoji853] Definately use the digi again today and test at any time, no need to wait until 4pm, just try and hold a little while first :) And yes!! Look at the test cartridge! You're not supposed to but like Lola said, mine always progressed to a strong positive too! Not that its going to matter anyway! You've nailed this cycle and all this was just meant to be so you were more relaxed around (unknown) attempt time!!

Mummy2boys your temps look the opposite of a chemical but agree it's worrying if your tests are lightening after quite a few days. I'd get out of limbo land asap and get 48 hour betas. At least then you'll know and won't be waiting and scrutinizing tests. Please stop testing now too [emoji173] Being the weekend can you go to emergency at your hospital and maybe exaggerate some symptoms so you can get a blood draw today and again in two days? Not sure how hospitals work where you are but that's something we can get done through A&E here in Aus. Or depending where you are do you have any gp clinics open on the weekend? Definately worth asking for repeat betas as one result will tell you you're pregnant only, you need the second result to confirm the pregnancy is viable.

I took a wondfo tonight and it was a little darker than my first wondfo a couple days ago, but I put them together before the first was dried and they are now the same color. Oh well lesson learned for tomorrow's wondfo! Thank you so much pbn! I will continue with the opks just in case and also e3d, not letting husband cop out this time! Lol last month when I wanted another attempt in he said I'm too tired then A few days later he was ready. This time nope will wake his butt up at 12am, make sure we are completely covered! You always make me feel reassured! All of you ladies are awesome! Xx is thinking maybe I haven't oed yet, to continue with the e3d just in case so will be covered for sure so will! So excited for this month!

Mtolbert I would start temping again tomorrow morning. If af is coming then you'll be able to see whether you get a decline in temp prior to it starting for future reference (which you wont need [emoji6]) also it'll show where your temp is sitting now. Please take into account that implantation 'generally' takes place between 6-10dpo (sometimes later) so you may not show a pos hpt for another 1-3 days yet if you implant in the 'general' time frame. I would definately ask about a higher dose from your doc for the last round of femara as the worst he can say is 'no' but you never know he may just say 'yes'. Also if you do need to go into a last cycle with femara then do you think you'll consider adding extra attempt/s because it sways so strongly? If its like clomid it will still be in your system for a cycle after taking it as well so that gives you a little bit of wiggle room with one attempt [emoji53] What are your thoughts?

Pbn- Do you recommend more attempts? If so, how many? The first month on femara we BD every single fertile day and no luck. While I long for a girl, I am willing to do anything to get my BFP and at this point I really dont care if we conceive a boy or girl! We just want a healthy baby! I will call Monday am and ask for a higher dose. Yesterday I felt some sharp pains in my ovaries when I stood up quickly.. I dont know what that could mean but I was hopeful it could be implantation!

If you're not opposed to extra attempt then yes definitely add in if you go into another cycle. Bding everyday is non productive because all it does is empty the bank and there's little to no swimmers left when its time for egg to meet sperm. You could try a couple things and I can see you guys are super frequent bders [emoji6] so either should be a walk in the park! Option 1 could be to do e3d with an extra attempt at pos opk. Option 2 is SMEP which is bd eod from cd8 (so cd8, cd10, cd12 etc) then three days in a row at pos opk. Skip and day then bd again. This has been found quite effective for conceiving. Google SMEP (sperm meets egg plan) for further info about it if you're interested! From memory its aimed at older couples ttc or those whom have been trying unsuccessfully for a while. Or alternatively you can try simply bding eod during fertile window (so for you I'd say aim for cd8 to cd16-18 until o confirmed by temping) however out of all of them this would sway the most blue. It is however whats considered to be the fastest way to fall preggers for couples with no known fertility issues.

Hopefully you won't need to make a decision anyway! Meant to say I'm sure I can see the faintest beginning of a line on the bottom hpt you posted. Can you post a pic of it on its own?

Also I don't know that I should, because wouldn't I need to keep up with adding everyone's username, sway, result and due date? I don't think I'll be on every day anymore because I would just like to spend as much time as possible with my kids now. Just now all caught up on here after a busy day!!
Ttc-April 1st would be a fun bday & yay for the start of your ddg!! I certainly understand your feelings about c-sections! For me, it was medically necessary as my DS1 was breech & didn't turn, then I had complete placenta previa with DS2, so basically, the placenta was blocking the exit! I have to say though, I had 2 wonderful experiences & pray for the same this time!!
Mtolbert-I feel like I see the start of something too. Fx for tomorrow's test!!

I have a 10, 5, and 2 yr old :) They are very good boys, and will be excited to hear about the baby. We haven’t yet told them about the baby.

Lolabella - I think thats my problem I enjoyed the beach way better before kids. Now it seems like a huge task just packing, carrying a million bags, and did I tell you about all the sand?!! :) Even though its hot here it’s the perfect kinda hot. There’s always sun showers, and nice breeze, and beautiful rainbows :) We went to the pool today and it was drizzling the whole time, but the pool was still packed. Almost time for your phone call. I’m so excited for you to get your girl :)

mtolbert1 - I actually had an ultrasound today:bigsmile:. Thank you so much for asking about it! It went as expected! last Saturday he didn't get to measure my pregnancy to give an official due date. Today you can see a big change from last Saturday (its crazy how much they change so quickly), and a nice little flicker on the screen:bigsmile:. He said he can see a hematoma during the ultrasound, and if I start experiencing bleeding not to be alarmed. It's not close enough to the baby to worry. I had my normal blood work and labs done as well. My next appointment is 4 weeks out, and I will have the Harmony Prenatal Test ekkk! I'm very nervous and not sure if I want the phone call to find out the gender. They did set me up with an online patient account to see any test results they do.. Nacire- I thought it was today! What a beautiful baby! Yes I immediately noticed how much little bub has grown!! I can't wait to find out what youre having! I also have an online account through my doctor and thats how I want to find out once I am pregnant, only because they take longer to call [emoji23][emoji23] When I was pregnant with DS1 I had something called a subchorionic hemmorage which caused me to bleed but it cleared right up and all was well! Lola- That sounds so scary! My dd2 was breeched but they successfully flipped her before she got too big, thank goodness but it was so painful! Dd1 I had a very pleasant delivery but dd2 was scary. She had a bowel movement in the womb, then her oxygen levels kept dropping and I had to wear a mask. When she finally came out I could see that it was because her cord was wrapped around her neck twice. They of course didn't tell me because they needed me to stay calm, but every time I was pushing it was pulling tighter and choking her. It was too tight to take over her head so they had to wait until she was out to untangle her. Her mouth and hands were purple and she didn't cry right away. It was just not a very happy memory for me like dd1 birth. I pray this baby isn't such a scare.

Omg Netti!!! I didn't realise you were on such a brutal bding schedule! I'd not do every day though he'll have nothing left in the tank [emoji50] I know you want to try the frequent release thing but maybe consider bd with protection one night, unprotected bd the next and then a day off. Just keep repeating this pattern. Will give you both a much needed break e3d, allows sperm a chance to recover and is still only one unprotected attempt e3d with a lighter load so to speak. No, she wanted me to do baseball gender reveal pictures. Then she just decided she wanted the important people with her when she found out. Just asks that we wear the color we want the baby to be! I don't mind either way as long as little one is healthy, but it would be so nice to have another girl after 8 years! I feel a little better about my cycle now naci! Like they pointed out I did get some good attempts in rather i ovulated or not. Temp rose some more today so thinking I really did ovulate and my dual opk missed it. I'm not sweating it! Pbn and Lola: not blazing dark, but feeling like I really did o already as temp increased even more. I'm fine with it now, as it's in the lords hands for sure!
Ttc: I had to have a csection with my first baby due to blood pressure being too high and couldn't dialate pass 3. So I didn't know about Vbacs with my 2nd baby and by the time I asked about them with my third they said it was too risky and I'd have to go to some other hospital about an hour or two away. So wasn't worth it to me. Luckily my csections have went smoothly though. That's the reason this will be our final baby though no matter what gender maybe.

Max- I think your tests are progressing nicely! You can't go by the darkness of tests to determine the viability of a pregnancy- only having betas drawn can do that. Purple and blue dye tests progress faster than pink ones because of the dye.

You will need to have more drawn on Monday morning preferably to tell of its doubling appropriately. Remember, some babies are slow cookers like my DS2. Your first will confirm you're pregnant and the second one will tell you if the doubling time is on point.

Mummy - I second what Lola said, when I had a chemical, my period was a week late and heavy. I couldn't bring myself to use a tampon bc I just felt wrong for some reason. I was extremely sad even though I was only "pregnant" a week so give yourself some grace!
Max - Yay!! My progression this pregnancy was SLOW especially compared to Lola's and Sky's who were only 1 day ahead of me. It freaked me out, but I'm 11 weeks now and so far so good. I also had no symptoms except tingling boobs, (but full fledge nausea hit at 6 weeks). I really think you Oed later than FF is saying though. Try to take one day at a time! Will you get any special tests/ultrasounds since you were on meds?

My first (and earliest) started as some cramping and when I peed I would wipe away blood. By the next morning it had increased to bleeding not spotting when I peed and by that evening I was just bleeding like a heavy period. Maxim IC's are not good for progression at all and frers are best at 48 progression which is how long it generally takes for hcg to double :) xxforhubby mentioned earlier about pink dye tests

Maxim that definately looks darker to me. I think it may be because of the tinge thru the bottom that makes it not as obvious. I understand your nervousness completely though especially when it seems others are progressing faster. In all honesty I see no cause for concern at all and I truly mean that, I'm not saying that just to try and make you feel better. So when did you have first draw again? It's going to be over 48 hours before your second one I'm guessing but you'll be able to use an online beta calculator that will work out what your hcg doubling time is. I'm happy to post a link to one if you like?

Pbn, yes last draw was Friday morning. I'll call tomorrow to go back in. So that would put me about 72 hours. I'll definitely need your help figuring that out...maybe I can post once I have my numbers and you can help me? I'm so sorry, new to all this and it's giving me such anxiety. I also asked them to test progesterone so I'll have those numbers as well.

I wish I could wait until Tuesday morning but I doubt ill be able to. Plus DH is eager to know if im actually pregnant or if my line is a false positive. Mtolbert just grab a small clean container (or plastic throwaway cup if you have any) and catch some fmu. Leave it sitting in you bathroom until you get a digi that morning and then you have an fmu sample to dip the test in :) pretty sure you need to dip for longer than what you would pee on it for (something like dip for 20 seconds as opposed to peeing on it for 5) but its in the instructions in any case

Alrighty im calling today O day. Lunchtime tests still fading. I'll continue to do an afternoon test over the next few days just to check but i think this is it. I did have O pains both sides this month ( 🤞🤞🤞 for XX twins) however it felt more distinct to the left. Time will tell.

Sounds promising despite the lack of pos opk [emoji3] just a thought but for confirmation and sanity sake have you thought about asking your gp for a bw request to check progesterone at 7dpo (so next Monday or even Tuesday just for that extra day)? At least then you'll know by 8/9dpo whether you did in fact ovulate when you thought in case your opks all remain negative from here on in....

Mummy2boys your situation sounds exactly like mine did. My dh did not want to try for another, he did it only for me and I had to put up with bouts of 'sulking' over the past couple years. Tell your dh is doesn't mean it's not meant to happen it simply means there wasn't something right when sperm met egg and your body would not allow implantation to fully take place. I used to think my losses were my fault, for pushing for something that should be left well enough alone but I also know now that's ridiculous. My age and poor fertility (egg quality) were the reason, not some weird karma type scenario. You are not being selfish. Bringing more love into a family is always going to be a good thing, never bad. Your children will get to experience all the wonder and excitement of mum growing their brother or sister in her tummy and get to be so involved when bub comes home. Oh and things can always be good the way they are, but doesn't mean they cant be better xxoo

Thank you so much pbn! Yes I think my DH sounds very like yours. We have the bouts of sulking too [emoji53] Yes what you have said makes total sense! DH kept saying 'give me a reason we should have another except because you feel like you need it' and I couldn't verbalise it but you are right! It would be amazing for the boys to be involved in another little life coming into our family! Also, both hubby and I lost both our mums and dads in the last 4 years and it's made me want to make our little family bigger. It's made him go the other way though as he feels we don't have enough support.

He's come around to the idea but has showed pretty much zero interest. I've always envied those who have those bittersweet moments of their husbands being so excited and emotional at the announcement of another bub, mine is as emotional as a plank of wood. He was never interested in touching my tummy, feeling baby move or talking to bub in my belly. But that's my lot in life and I have my boys and now this bub so I am just thankful for that :) My husband is not a bad man at all, in fact he is a wonderful person, we just think and feel differently about things I suppose [emoji53]

I have always felt the same- my DH sounds so similar to yours. He has never been interested in feeling baby move etc either. He also didn't enjoy the baby stage and even said he didn't bond with ds2 because he didn't really want another. It's all fine now and he is a great dad now they are older. He is also wonderful in many ways, just not emotionally driven or romantic like me!
I'm sat in the doctors now waiting to be seen. Bleeding is a little heavier so I'm thankful AF seems to be on the way. Will have a large glass of wine tonight and start thinking positively about the future!

Thanks mummy! I'm so sorry for what you are going through. I've been there twice. It is so devastating. You want those babies and already have their futures planned out. It makes you want your baby you were promised, but unfair it was ripped away. Anyways there is plenty of us here that will be here for you to vent. If you want another baby, I don't feel it's selfish anyways as you feel something in your heart is missing.
Pbn: I know how you feel, my husband ate his words and felt terrible on our first lost. He said I had four babies, why do you think I'd be excited over a fifth? It hurt me so bad. Then when I started spotting about three weeks later. He said I am so sorry Jennifer, I didn't really mean what I said I, did want that baby and even cried with me. Then the second tore him up, and we took a huge hiatus from ttc for a while. Now, he's still scared, I know he is. We had never went through those, had four healthy babies. We had in our heads that couldn't happen to us... but yea it doesn't discriminate.

Mummy, I just wanted to share my perspective with you. After having our second daughter, DH and I thought for SURE we were done. Life was good, and we were finally getting into a groove after the madness of having two babies so close together. About a year ago, a friend that also had two daughters announced to us that she was expecting her third, another girl. As happy as I was for her, it changed something inside of me….I couldn’t stop thinking about possibly having another. It took me months of thinking about it and building up courage to even talk to DH about it. He shot me down month after month – he thought that life was great as is, and he didn’t want to tempt fate when we already had two healthy daughters. I agreed, but I was thinking from another perspective – my two daughters. I didn’t want them growing up and only having each other. I come from a family of 4 girls and I know how lucky I am to be able to call them each my best friend. They’re the people that I turn to daily for literally everything! I wanted to give that to my own children, especially when DH and I aren’t around anymore. Life is crazy and unpredictable, and I wanted to at least give them more than just each other for when times get rough, the way that I have it. That’s truly the only argument that worked to convince DH to try for a third (and he’s a lawyer, so trust me convincing him of anything is NOT easy lol). Knowing that they’ll have a small little network that they can depend on is all that I can ask for once we aren’t around to be with them. I would think that your DH would be able to relate to that having lost his parents recently. Not sure it will convince him, but wanted to share a similar situation for what it’s worth….

Hi mommy2apples! Sorry was watching Game of Thrones [emoji3] I think its pretty safe to say you've oed and wow another rise [emoji3] I wouldn't worry about testing again. And you can absolutely use the tester head again. Just make sure it gives you the flashing book and whatever the other thing is when you insert the first test stick, signalling a new cycle. Alternatively you have another tester head to use from the other box in any case. NOT that you'll need either of them!!!! [emoji6]

Max - 21 is great! FX you can get more bloods done today. Then you can google and use a HCG calculator. You enter both HCG levels and it calculates doubling time. My first HCG test with my blighted ovum was 6 I think....now that was low.

Max- That's great! Let's see what the next number is! I would call and have them order a second Beta (Hopefully this morning) to see how it's doubling. They have a calculator to work off of when they call you with the results, they will tell you if it's doubling appropriately.

DH has kind of jumped ship as far as TTC goes. He said the same thing mummy's DH said "we'll take it as a sign it wasn't meant to be and get a puppy" lol

I think the plan is to ntnp but I don't know if I want to do that because I'm sure we would have another girl. Not that we would mind but a boy would be nice.

It's 1.40am and I've had no sleep courtesy of a pinched nerve in my neck I woke up with this morning. I ignored it and went on a mad window cleaning spree and then rearranged furniture (beds etc) in the boys room. Felt ok until I stopped and sat down tonight after dinner and bathes. Thank you Max and Mommy, it's so good to hear other people's stories and perspectives. I really agree with what you said Max, and that's my main reason for having another, to make a little support network for my boys. When my mum died I really came to appreciate my brother and sister and I want that closeness for my boys. I am definitely going to try that argument with DH.

I didn't get anywhere at the doctors, she basically said the early pregnancy unit wouldn't see me as it's too early on and so many people have very early miscarriages. I just have to wait and see. Still not bleeding properly which is frustrating. Just want it to come now!

We went camping and have been busy all weekend so I've completely lost track of this thread. And unfortunately my AF arrived today - so, onward to a new cycle of ttc!! I started AF a day earlier than normal (I have a pretty consistent 24 day cycle - rarely EVER below 24 days and this cycle was 23), so I think I did ovulate earlier than I was expecting and maybe missed the egg w/ our day 11 attempt. I also had a tiny bit of spotting for a couple of days before AF (like tiny tiny amounts), which I rarely ever do - so not sure what that was about. I don't know - whatever, I'm going out to buy the dual hormone OPKs b/c I really think they'll work better for me. My diet has been a bit of a mess the past couple of days b/c of eating out the past 2 nights, camping, busy super busy, etc. so I feel a little guilty... Although I really haven't been going THAT overboard and I've gotten a pretty good amount of exercise in. But I still feel guilty. Gotta get really strict again the next 10 days or so before our next attempt.

Yes a blue swayer. There are very few blue swayers here and most of the blue swayer got opposites :( this is something that is scaring me already. Trying to do all that is in my power to get my little man!

ABC-thanks, we've been wanting to use the name since before we were engaged. It's hard to say what worked-the sway, diet, attempts, prayer, power of positive thinking, pure luck or a combination?? I'm going to sound like a nutcase, but I joked that I was going to will it to be a girl. I visualized what I wanted, what it would be like to have a girl & tried to not accept thoughts of it possibly be a boy...even when the naysayers tried to bring me down. I had down moments, but tried to focus on "dreams DO come true!" I set myself up for complete disappointment, telling myself that this is definitely going to be a girl unless I'm told otherwise. I prayed on every 11:11 I noticed on the clock & then I quickly took a screenshot of something meaningful (girlie) at that very moment. Who knows what really worked, but I pray that it works for many many others!! I wish we could ALL have our desired genders!!!
Earlier today, I started to freak & worry oh no, I've got my girl...please let this pregnancy continue with a healthy baby. I stepped back & told myself...quit worrying & maintain the positivity!! I sound crazy lol I know lol, but here's an example of what I would visualize at 11:11 haha.

So sorry I haven't been able to keep up with the thread, it's moving so fast! Have there been any new Bfps? Last I saw was Mtolbert; congrats again dear!!

I've been so, so tired the last 3-4 days. I sleep for about 10 hours through the night and take two 2- hour naps every day, it's insane! I don't ever remember being so exhausted with my girls. Maybe this is my boy lol.

To top it off, we're having trouble with our hospital taking our insurance so dd2 is behind on shots, I don't know if my prenatal care is covered currently, and my jeep has all kinds of problems in the front end that's costing us $2k.

So maybe the timing is stressful, but I'm still very thankful for my miracle baby, no spotting, and a hubby that seems to be coming around. Although he told me the other night that he wants this baby to be another girl.

Lola- Thank you! I totally wasn't expecting to see it today! And I haven't even gotten to tell him yet because he's off work today and still sleeping!! I will let you know his reaction when he wakes!! My dd is April 4 but I will deliver before then as this will be my 3rd c-section! Since we just moved I have to find a whole new doctor so that's what I'll most likely spend my day doing!

Lola, Thank you! My first ultrasound is August 23rd, I'll be 8 weeks! I had my first ultrasound with both girls at 6 weeks, so I'm not sure why it's a little later, but oh well. Can't wait to see my beanie!

Yep, that is the standard of care. If any spotting occurs, they may want you to come in at 6 weeks for a scan. Nothing really shows up to let them know the viability until you get past 5 weeks.
