Hello all. :) I was missing seeing my lines, so I tested out the ovulation test theory. Totally works as a pregnancy test! :) Not sure how early in pregnancy it works though, this is the first time I've tried it.

Hi Ladies

How is everyone going?

Super busy day yesterday. I had a night shift followed by training which was tiring but very interesting.

House work again today followed by a few shifts then getting ready for the weekend off.

My opks seem to be faint and not like they were on the wkend so i might stop doing them now. Plus CM and CP certainly match with having already ovulated.

I just found out I won a competition and have a $200 voucher to spend at a candle making store. This will help launch my not for profit even more so.

Lola, maybe they thought I was farther along than I actually was when they scheduled my appointments with my girls, because I had their first ultrasound at 6 weeks and then again at 10 weeks. It was the same for both of them. I think this time they're just doing 8 weeks. I don't mind the wait, now that I know he/she is in there, that's all I need to relax. Plus I'm sure I'll just sleep through the next 4 weeks lol.

Max i wasn't charting just using opks. They didn't ever show a true positive however I marked Monday as O day. Somethings certainly happened as CP and CM have changed.

Im thinking I may have missed my surge Saturday night.

Im paying close attention to my body. Im wondering if you can feel a change at conception.

Good morning ladies! I am so sorry - I totally lost track of the last thread after I posted! We moved over the weekend and I'm still not caught up on unpacking! Thank you so much for the warm welcome and thoughts!!

Maxim - I caught that you asked about my other kids. I just have one daughter and she just turned 6. She has been begging for a sibling for at least 2 years and I am so excited to tell her that she's going to have one! My job was really demanding so there was no way I could squeeze in a new baby before. My husband got a relocation for his career and we decided to take that as a sign that it was time to make a change for our family. We moved halfway across the country and I am staying home for now to focus more on my daughter (and now this baby too!). I am nervous that they won't be very close with such a huge age gap but I'm just hoping for the best! I haven't decided when to tell her. I know she will be thrilled and I want to share the excitement with her for as long as possible but also don't want her little heart to be broken if something goes wrong. Geez, sorry that was so long!! I think I saw that you have two girls, right? So adorable! How old are they and when do you plan to tell them?

That's awesome to hear, thank you so much Mommy2apples! I keep trying to tell myself that you never really know what a sibling relationship will be like. I k kw someone who has a sibling only 18 months younger and now that they are adults, they rarely even speak! I think if we facilitate the relationship and always reinforce that family is important that will help a lot too!

Awe, hang in there sweetie! I can totally relate to how you feel. I hope you get your BFP soon and you don't have to wait too much longer. Just try and keep your eye on the prize. For reasons we don't quite understand, I believe it takes some babies awhile to come to us. I like to think they are waiting for the perfect sperm and egg, for the just right conditions and mindsets of us to take the plunge to be born.

I'm hoping this is it for you, but if not, I DO know it will...when the perfect time comes [emoji8]!

Mommy- Thats how I felt this month! I was over it all. I just knew it wasn't my month. I was upset because I didnt have opk's, then my boys lost my thermometer. And somehow, this is the month we conceived! I prayed really hard and asked God if it was his will, then to PLEASE let me get pregnant.
I believe this is your month!!!! Please stay as positive as possible! I'm here for you!

I feel ya, Mommy - I've been feeling blah today too. I think both DH and I have these weird sinus infections - sinus pain, headaches, he has congestion. We're not really taking much but if we don't get better soon we're going to have to go to the doctor and prob get antibiotics.... so not really what to think about TTC this cycle if we're both on meds. I think I'm getting a little better but I don't think DH is. Frustrating.

And I was kinda bad on my diet today. Stayed mostly in calorie/fat/protein limits but ate too much sugar/sweets (which I'm supposed to be doing the PCOS diet - so not good!). So I'm feeling the guilt again in terms of "ahhh I'm not doing enough" on my sway.

Bleck. This sway/ttc stuff ain't easy :)

I feel you ladies.

I struggle with the diet and exercise aspects and being winter [emoji300][emoji300][emoji300] Alot of this was trying different BD patterns and mostly hope.

At about 3 dpo i totally felt like this was it. Ive had a few twinges today that's certainly got me questioning. Im 5dpo today, wayyy early. I will be testing tmro morning as I work Sunday night and Monday morning is out of the question.

Part of me is just hoping and hoping this is it. This is my final chance for a girl and the pressure is on more than anything. Im already worrying about DHs reaction. We've been through this last time so we can work through it however this has finality to it.

Yes I had rainbow sherbet lastnight and not sure if that's allowed or not. Need to ask Atomic. I think I'm nervous eating during this tww, so I'm going to be good today! At least it's semi healthy, but I hate to step on the scale this morning [emoji15] I just can feel the bloat.

For what it's worth, I had raspberry sherbert regularly before I got my BFP in place of ice cream [emoji8]! I just wanted to do things differently, knowing it may not have mattered. Mommy - thanks for the encouragement - yea I think we'll still go ahead and attempt, I just wish our freaking sinuses would feel better!! Only a few more days until you can start testing YAAAY!!!! Mmmmm sherbet sounds GOOD right now!!! My sweet tooth has come back to life the past week or so after being pretty good at cutting out sweets the past four months! BAD! I need to get pregnant soon before I completely ruin my sway diet!!

Mtolbert - fx this is your baby girl!! Those first several weeks waiting for the doctor's appt felt sooooooo long for me w/ my boys... It's so great when you can get in there and see little bean on the screen!

So today I tried my first dual hormone OPK!! Got a blank circle of course but excited to see what happens over the next few days! I also tried temping vaginally for the first time ever today. I had been too squirmish about it before, but w/ oral temping my temps have been all over the place so I decided to try it. My temp was WAY higher than my normal pre-O oral temps (97.81 versus average of 97.3 orally) so kinda interesting. Although I took it about an hour later than I normal so that probably affected it too. Going to try to keep doing it this for now to see if I can get a better handle on my temps.

Netti, this sounds crazy but I had a $1 cheapie dollar store test with a sensitivity of 50 and it was the one that convinced me I was pregnant! All the rest had squinters and dried negative, but the dollar test was negative and dried positive (the morning of 9dpo)! Dh found it and showed me and when I took a straight handle FRER that night it was a squinter and died very very positive. Mommy2apples said the same thing happened to her sister, so idk what the deal is with the cheap tests, but I don't think theyre completely useless for early testing :)

Well i ended up getting the 7 pack of frers. I know i should have just got them yesterday. Im doing a hold for the rest of the day and will try in the PM.

I couldn't resist and tested this AM though it was a semi hold as I had forgot to go to the bathroom on the way home from work. Its a prognosis and i pulled it apart (i knew i hated those tests) however i *think i see a darkening compared to yesterday PM.

Cervix is still in an ideal position. And you wouldn't believe it, last night at work i was smelling chips with gravy and then pie and tomato sauce [emoji38][emoji38] and there was none of this around!

Its DS1's bday today and he felt abit unwell last night. Im actually not feeling that great today but im unsure if its possible pg related or germ related 🤢🤢

A few days off again before im back to my regular shifts.

That sucks Babybeaublue. Don't get too caught up on short LP. Ive had some cycles its been 9 as well and others longer. Sometimes ive spotted for days before af too. Ive often thought there could be something wrong yet ill have another cycle where its spot on 14 day LP and everything good. Fx next month is your month [emoji847]

I tried a frer this afternoon and can't see a thing. I pulled it apart as i had line eye and i just had to see closer 🤣

With the bbt I'd just make sure to get one that goes to two decimal points :) Maybe if you temp for one cycle it will at least answer the question of oing and then you can go back to not doing it if it's stressing you out? Or temp only until o is confirmed then stop?

Mommy, for what it's worth...my osom only showed lines that early. I tested at 19dpo and still barely had a line on FRER. Maybe mine is a fluke, but if you can get your hands on osom, I highly recommend them! Lola recommended them to me.

Mommy, I don't want to give you false hope, but on the first set of pictures you posted I swear I could see a faint line on the bottom 2.. Maybe I'm developing the dreaded line eye, but I know my tests never showed my lines as well in pictures so I'm wondering how that test looks in person!! Also mine were negative in the am at 9dpo and turned to a very faint positive in the pm. Fx for you!!!

Pbn maybe I was fevered a little yesterday my temp shot down quite a bit. I'm not freaking out about yet, just praying it goes back up tomorrow at least or levels out. Will be disappointed if this isn't the month [emoji30] it is what it is. Then it's bye bye science and enjoying dh until it finally happens.

Mummy: glad to hear that! Hopefully he will. If you are up for it, then maybe he will be as well!

Netti: my throats and ear is killing me, so maybe I was slightly fevered yesterday.

Babybeaublue the new curved handle frer are notorious for showing the strip that gives you a positive test if you angle it a certain away. The others can explain it better. So wasn't sure since they just recently started stocking the shelf with the straight handle again at Walmart if they do the same now. Was hoping they didn't tweek them in anyway.

Thanks ladies. I just knew something was going on particularly with the implantation like cramps i had on the weekend. BBs are now pg feeling and cervix is aswell.

I felt these twinges (but im thinking implantation) at 2 different times on 2 different sides. So you guessed my mind went straight to convincing myself i have twins 🤣🤣🤣 i think that's what was making me impatient to see a line.

Im holding off on telling DH til there's a clear line but he's convinced I already am 🤣🤣

Pbn- hard to explain but it was mostly FR. We had bd attempts on July 20 and 23rd (other releases around this time too just not bd attempts). Ive marked O as the 24th roughly. I doubt i Ovulated Tuesday the 25th. Would that make it an O-4 and O-1 attempt? It would be e3d i think.

I feel like total crap. Definitely have a sinus infection - sinuses are swollen/inflamed... DH feels the same way. We've both been feeling crappy for a few weeks now so we're really almost at the point of making doctors appts now. Really don't want either of us to have to go on antibiotics right now w/ ttc but not sure we're going to have a choice. I got so fed up and upset today I told him we're not going to attempt this cycle... He really wants to though. I got a flashing smiley on dual hormone OPK today though so I'm thinking I'm likely to ovulate in the next couple of days.... I'm really not sure what to do :(

And OMG I'm ready to eat meat again!! 4.5 months vegetarian and I'm OVER IT! And sweets - I want sweets!! I'm like a grumpy, food craving-obsessed woman all of the sudden now and I'm not even preggo yet ahhhhh!!!! :)

I have been reading into testosterone replacement (Dh gets it as he had basically zero test) and it can make you sterile. I've seen posts on other sites from women saying their Dh had zero swimmers while having it, but after a while their count went up (like 2 1/2 months)
Im worried as obviously he needs SOMETHING or the consequences could be really bad, but I'm devastated to think of all the months getting my hopes up when there was probably not even the slightest chance. He got his last shot on 5th July. I should O around 14th Aug. I don't think it's even worth my while trying. I tried to explain to him about the test but he just walked out of the room.
It's all the meds he gets. He has to take painkillers every day, which has destroyed his test so now he has to have it replaced. Every damn med has led to something else that he has to take something else for.
I'm annoyed the Dr didn't make it clear that we wouldn't be able to get pregnant while he was taking the injections.
I wanted to ask Atomic how long I should wait, is she on holiday or something?

Yep, did a half hearted try in May. So probably just count two months.
Talked to Atomic the other day she thinks I should just throw the opks out and I agree and go for the e3d. She was thinking I should throw temping out too as it's just stressful. I like knowing when I o though and even when dumb af is coming. It is stress though and I don't want a lot of stress when trying to conceive dd so torn.
Working right now on getting my weight to stop dropping I add more calories and it's still dropping. Xx says it should take about two weeks to stabilize.

Mommy, I do have to say that I thought about dropping both temps and opk as well. It stresses me out and makes me overanalyze everything; but on the other hand, if I don't know, I stress about that too...you know?! I'm still holding out hope for you! But if it doesn't work out this cycle and you do decide to use opk's, I have a huge pack of easy@home opk's and hcg tests, as well as extra pink and purple CB digi sticks, and one OSOM test left...I'm happy to send to you in the mail.
