Thank you sky! I have actually gained a whopping total of 16lbs [emoji85] and I'm 16 weeks! I gained 11 in the first 8 weeks so I'm leveling out a bit now thankfully! I know team green would be awesome for some and the surprise that day would be a different kind of amazing but I'm my opinion if your going to beat yourself up over what baby is for the next 5/6 months and give yourself anxiety over it I think it would be best for your mental health to give in and either be excited or deal with the gd now rather than worry the rest of your pregnancy then be upset again when the baby comes [emoji10] not trying to talk you into asking him but maybe it would relieve some stress from yourself. How far along are you now?
Srg that's so far along! But I'm sure it'll give you peace of mind to know all is well with babys heart!

Kat, Lola, I'm 16 weeks and still nauseas. The days are much better but evenings are the worst. I'm still on the nighttime dose of Diclegis which helps my mornings. I tried going off of it for 2 straight days last week and that was a bad move so yea, still on it.

Afm – my scan is this arvo – am sooooo nervous! Hubby is coming with me which is good, I need the support to not be an emotional mess… I just hope all is well so I can go on holidays and enjoy that time off without being burdened by worry or sadness.
I finally received my magic cup yesterday – and guess what? They mocked up the order so it’s just a normal cup with the print I ordered, not a magic one – so disappointed.. will ask for a refund, not happy!
My progesterone pessaries are causing terrible burning down there after barely more than 2 weeks’ use – don’t recall being irritated that early for my girls – I am using Oripro (200mg twice a day) and last time it was the ones the pharmacist compounded…. Not fun.

Re the pessaries, I am not being seen by an OB :( – my fert specialist just kindly prescribed them for me even though this was a natural conception so he was seeing me as such as didn’t have medicated cycles - I will still try to see him to sneak in a scan around the 9 week mark before I do the NIPT ^^

I didn't have the pessaries but I know the burning down there too well it sucks. I have spent hours in the bathroom that's how bad it gets for me. Hope it gets better soon. Bummer about the cup. I would return it too. So disappointing. I bet they will correct their mistake.
I am 12 weeks 5 days so not sure about the accuracy of the scan. I keep thinking if I were dh and if I heard a boy from the tech then I would go above and beyond to make him want to know but he is so normal which may mean he heard girl so I am not asking him specially when it's 70% sure. I agree your not crazy sky it's completely normal for these feelings I was soooo emotional and panicking leading up to my scan I think it would have been a relief to know either way just to relieve some of the anxiety I had built up. But I agree 70% isn't great
Got my first 17p shot today my booty cheek is burning! I've gained 2 more lbs, hb was 150, and my 20w scan is scheduled for 26th, AND I had quad screening draw today which left me a nasty bruise lol and I go tomorrow for my second draw that goes along with the nuchal ! I think now that I'll be going to the dr weekly from here on out time is going to fly ..... I always said I wanted to relax and enjoy my last but I'm ready to meet little lady!

Oh and Pbn, my doc moved my due date back to the original because baby had a growth spurt. So January 15th and I may even go earlier than that since I've been pretty early with both of my previous babies.

Ok, scan went ok, estimated to be 5+6 (instead of 6+1 according to O)... I have no pics as they now only give the images online within 72hrs (sigh). So will seee the report with my GP tomorrow arvo but will have to wait to access the pics!
There was a tiny little pole and yolk sac, with a flickering HB but too small for her to measure.
She reckons I have a hematom pa as she found some fluid..will know more tomorrow I guess..
For now, am reassured!!!! :awe:

Hi ladies, scan went well. Bubby is all good and measuring a day ahead. Tech and doctor said baby is looking very robust....god I hope not! My DD was a tiny thing even being a week overdue. Labour, delivery and recovery was a breeze. Just my luck this one will be a whopper!
Didn't get any indication of girl or.boy just that baby moved a round a hell of a lot more at this scan than my DD and was not a fan of the wand and would kick it aggressively.

Lola my mil called and asked if we would go shopping with her and great grandma (which usually means a new wardrobe) because it's tax free [emoji53] I felt so bad saying yes but we don't get tax free anymore! Booo but I'm excited to go shopping at the outlets [emoji16]! And I'm thinking this time I'll be popping out of no where I told the dr I don't feel like a hard belly like I usually do and she measured my uterus and says "well it's right below your belly button!" OMG ladies - I just had to go through 30+ pages to catch up on all of you! Congrats to everyone that heard gender and had great scans. I will not even attempt to personalize it all.

AFM - I had my midwife appointment on Monday. They are testing my bile acid levels again to see if they are rising. My level was normal, but if rising the ICP diagnosis will stand. My hands and now feet have been itching still :( It is not all the time, but still driving me nuts. Also, for the second time in a row, I am measuring 4-5 weeks ahead. So I will get another u/s on Monday to check baby's measurements and fluid levels. I feel HUGE!. Will try to take a pic. But I am measuring 29w already (only 25w). I will do my glucose test the end of the month. I was not able to catch up as DS4 was not feeling well and was up most of the night. I even had to call in sick to work yesterday :( I hate that as I only have so much leave for baby. Oh well.

Aww Shann I know you will love baby regardless, but you maybe pleasantly surprised. I know the gender disappointment all too well with my fourth baby. I cried and cried for a week or two just out of no where would start crying. I was an irrational pregnant lady, kept thinking how my pattern didn't work and I'd never be able to give dd a sister, because they was never going to allow me to have a 5th csection. Yes I want another little girl. I wouldn't trade my Braxton for any old girl in the world. He Melts my heart every time I look at him. He's funny, and sweet and so such an energetic firecracker. Lights up my world for sure.

Just a last check in before I go – I have a busy work day still and then it’ll be packing (again!) before we go tomorrow morning – I loathe the idea of driving down the Bruce highway, just loathe it so am stressing already lol but at the place we rented, there should be internet this time so should be able to come and check on you :D

Dancing – woohoo for a healthy bub – bigger than your DD might mean boy (though admittedly DD2 was a much chunkier girl than her sister – DD1 40+6 was 3.3kg and DD2 at 38+6 was 3.7kg - she still is a chunky muffin now lol).
Well done for staying team green, I def couldn’t be that patient this time around! ^^

Sky – like you I just loved the cute chubbiness DD2 had – I thought DD1 was chubby but no, her sister is! Haha she is not 2 yet and wears stuff her sister wore at 3, so reckon soon they will be wearing the same clothes (which is good and bad – I mean will cost a fortune but they will be able to share lol).
I am sure you look wonderful, regardless of what you say – and I always find that any mama to be regardless of size is just stunning – because, I mean, what could be more beautiful than carrying new life in you? <3 It’s my 3rd and I swear the world will know I am pregnant soon - for now it’s hide-able and am heavier than with my girls (kept some weight on on purpose for the sway) so def am bigger than at the same stage with them but who knows how long I will be able to hide (ideally would like to hide the pregnancy at work until 15-17 weeks ish) lol

I had fun this morning being at big w like an hr and 30 before it opened to get the new baby car seats they have. The wiggles and infa secure joined together and made coloured car seats. I put on layby two purple and one blue. Yes insane to be there that early but they are a limited edition and I love colour not some much the wiggles but my DD1 does. It was fun anyway.

I was determined I don't really care about the wiggles. It's not every day you can get nice coloured car seats like that. I was disappointed though as in the catalogue it said on the baby one 0-8 years but when got there it was 0-4 years so I had to get the 6 months to 8 years and I didn't like them as much.

I had a very mild case of PUPP with all of my boys. No rash, just horribly itchy skin. I was tested several times for ICP (a liver condition) that can also cause itchy skin. I just put a oil on the areas and lotion over it several times a day, which helped. You should also get tested for ICP, because this can negatively affect the baby. Let your OB know about what you're experiencing.

Might be my first indication of gender?
Anyone else ever had it?

Funny, I was reading about this a couple days ago because I thought I had it and I was thinking no! It's another boy! (Luckily it wasn't). Anyway, just trying to say I had it with all three of my boys. Who knows if I'd also be prone to get it with a girl 🤷🏻*♀️ but I would be taking it as a sign of gender for sure.

Just catching up quickly before I go in for my follow up appt. No revealing info since I'm only 9 weeks but excited to get an u/s. Anyone else around 9 weeks? It seems like everyone is way ahead of me and finding out gender already.

Hi babypink! So exciting to have your ultrasound! I'm not due until April so I'm in the next DDG but I check in here occasionally because it's so exciting to hear all of the gender reveals!

2 questions for all of you ladies - this has probably already been asked before, but I'm really struggling to decide when to announce. I am thinking of telling my mom when I reach 6 weeks (I'm almost 5 now) and everyone else (family/close friends) after the 8 week ultrasound.

Also, my boobs were SO sore around the time that I got a positive test (9 DPO) but they have really leveled off since then. I can't remember when they stopped being sore with my daughter but I'm a little bit worried about it now. Did this happen to any of you?

So I've got PUPPP!
I've been wondering the last week why I have this bad itchy red rash on my tummy and spreading round my back....now I know!
Never had it with DD but after doing lots of reading about it, PUPPP is commonly suffered by women who have boys 70% of time. Something to do with the Y chromosome affecting the mother's hormones. They've even done scientific research where male fetal DNA has been found in the biopsies of the skin of the mother with PUPPP and you are more likely to get it also if you suffer from sensitive skin as well as carrying a boy.
Might be my first indication of gender?

I actually went into my school to work in my room for a little while today & told my principal, principal's secretary & attendance clerk. They hugged me & were so excited for me. I actually didn't tell them gender right away. I told them that I wanted to show them a back to School picture of my boys...one was the announcement & then I showed the other for the reveal lol. Same pics I showed all of you, just changed the background etc...

Ittybitty o don't recall mine being nearly as sore with my sons but this time I'm still dying! And I told my parents around 6 weeks I think and everyone else at 8 weeks since I wouldn't find out gender with the nipt.

U/S went good. Couldn't really see much because she said the baby kept moving around on her. I didn't realize they moved so much at this stage? However, according to a friend, a lot of movement means that it's a girl. Any truth to this? I won't be having my NT scan until another 4 weeks. It's going to be a loooooong 4 weeks. I'm mentally preparing to hear boy TBH.

I can't remember who mentioned lightning boob, but I think I started up with that too. Fun times.

Nacire & Lola, I wish I could be like you and have a small bump for most of my pregnancy. That only happened with my first, but after that I was an Oompa Loompa. I guess because I'm very short.

So what was the recommendation for good nub guessing? I just realized I'll be 12w2d, give or take, when I get my NT scan and I'm thinking that might be too early.

I had my U/S today & I'm so happy! The U/S tech was very familiar with nub theory & she took a guess before I told her gender from genetic testing...she said GIRL! And I could see it for myself too! Is anyone else staying Team Green?? DH and I will NOT be finding out the gender of this baby because I was honestly hoping to sway blue, but got a surprise and very unexpected BFP last month and don't think I can bear knowing before birth what the gender is. I know some people prefer to know so that they can prepare themselves, but I did that with one of my other pregnancies and it was awful! I was depressed my entire pregnancy and couldn't enjoy it the way I wanted to. But once baby was born I was completely in love, which is why I am choosing to wait until birth this time to find out! Anyone else doing the same thing?

Lola sooo cute! When I went for my gender scan the lady said my first indication is here with what we call a "nub" didn't tell her I knew this theory but she said girls it's points down boys up. Which I had never heard before but you can clearly see it on yours it's straight across the top and the boy "stacking" looks to be on the bottom!

Kat-girl stuff really is SO cute! My eye seems to be drawn to pink when shopping lol. This may be b/c I've wanted a girl for so long, but the idea of 3 girls sounds awesome, BUT I do hope you get to experience a boy, they are also awesome! Wouldn't trade my boys for the world! My babies have been on the smaller side-6lbs12oz & 7lbs, so mostly getting 0-3m, 3-6m & 6m, some newborn. Only getting the larger sizes if something catches my eye...I can always shop for the bigger sizes later. Set my anatomy scan appt today for 9/15!! Yours is towards the end of August right?

On another note who is next to find out gender?
I was stalking xx's due date group and they seem to have had a lot.of girl sway success. All he blue swayers are team green but the one who did find out is having an opposite with a girl.
I'm just feeling less and less confident. I ovulated from my left (usually means girl), I have an anterior placenta like with my DD (usually more common with girls) and fell near a new moon/quarter moon similar to DD who was on a new moon.
Yes I fell pregnant on the first go unlike DD who I needed clomid with and I changed my diet/lifestyle completely and it's been a very different pregnancy but now I'm wishing I had found out.
I'm driving myself nuts and I've got 20 weeks left of this!!

It is best if you're not used to drinking alcohol regularly. I don't think it makes too much of a difference as long as the drink(s) fit in your overall totals for calories. The reason is that it will raise your blood sugar initially but it will also help cause your blood sugar to lower quite a bit later, which will be overnight.

If I wanted wine with a meal, I had it. If I realized I was low in calories for the day but didn't feel hungry, I had some wine at the end of the day.

The 2 cycles leading up to my BFP I drank regularly.

Dancing -- it's pretty obvious and my tech at the time even said 80% likely girl (but I think she thought higher than 80%).

4b2p it will be a sad day when I have them tied because I LOVe LOVE newborns but in reality I want to be able to give my kids nice things in life and go on vacations and not have them have to share a room and none of that can be done with more kids. I don't enjoy it either ash!! You still got your sweet girl! I think my biggest thing with my ash was coffee when I got her, I cut it out after her!

I'm getting my tubes tied after my cesection. I might be a tad sad about it, but I know 3 is it for us. I'm just happy to have a 3rd bc I never thought I'd get this opportunity. However, we are always open to adoption so I'll probably never say my family is complete or done until I feel that 100% confirmation from the Lord [emoji5]
Srg - I hope your nub is a fluke!! I'm especially rooting for you bc I know you've lost a son. How many girls do you have? 2 or 3? This might not make you feel any better but I know lots of families with 3 girls and they just seem so great, some girlie some not. Especially as they get older and start families of their own. I have one sister and wish I had another. Hope that doesn't upset you, really just sharing my thoughts. I DO keep seeing tons of families with 2 girls 1 boy, which has always been my dream family due to the family I babysat growing up - so there's that too [emoji5]

I should add that DD3 is a joy. I was so heartbroken that she was a girl that I remember clearly praying as I was being taken back for my csection that she'd come out with a penis after all. Of course, now she's just the best thing ever. She brought me out of my depression after DS passed, and she's just so sweet. [emoji3]

Mommy this little girl probably had a lot to do with coffee! I never drank it with any of my boys and had about 6cups with this little one.
4b2p we have 5bed right now but will be finishing off one more in the basement so when one of the boys is old enough / ready they can go down. So we will have 3up and 3 down. And we are just out the outside of a small town probably considered the country for most. Hill Billy town [emoji23] we have a Walmart!
Mommy I wanted mine to be snipped but he said it was a one time offer and he offered after our second and I wouldn't let him. So I guess it's my time [emoji19].
Kat were the same if we have anymore it'll not be by pregnancy!

Thanks! I started out at my heaviest ever, but I've been running/bike riding 45-60 minutes everyday and watching my diet. I think I'm up five pounds now. I can definitely feel that this is my fifth and that I'm 34 now and not 26. Lol!

Srg - Ok, we need to keep each other accountable!! I exercised 4 times last week, but that's been my max since 6 weeks. I'm 13 now. I'm doing ok with diet but as MS is getting better cravings are getting intense. Most have been pretty healthy. I haven't gained so far, but will be happy if I'm under 5 pounds at 16 weeks. I usually gain 30 but would love to stay at 20 this time!!
