I think it makes perfect sense to get tubes tied & I'm done, but since I have doubts, just can't do it yet!
Srg-I'm glad DD3 has been your blessing in disguise and such a joy! Your next baby will be a joy as well no matter what the gender is!! And you still look adorable!!
Laurel-love them all & agree...especially the middle!
Ash-OMG, how wonderful to start feeling those movements!!!
Kat & srg-yep...admire you both working out! I try to stay active & I have a light routine I try to do at home, but def not very motivated! I went shopping yesterday & my feet were so sore from walking...and I can typically walk & walk with no issue!
So I told my bosses at work the news, but haven't shared with all of the teachers/co-workers yet. One of our "back to school" assignments just for fun is for each of us to add a Google slide about places we explored this summer. "Explore" is our catch word for the school year. So I just created my slide & announced my baby news. I wonder when my co-workers will notice?? It's not due until Thursday...so it'll be fun to see if anyone notices haha.

4b2p, same here. I'm hoping to start at least walking so I asked DH to bring out the treadmill, but I really don't know how I'll manage. Most of my workouts are from taking care of 3 little ones and cleaning the house. Don't have energy for much more than that.

To be fair, I'm a teacher and on summer break. When that ends in two weeks, I'm aiming for at least four days a week of exercising and I'll probably back off on the length sometimes just to fit it in. My oldest is starting youth soccer practices tonight, so I'm starting to add more commitments.

You ladies are amazing working out at all. It takes all I have to do the bare minimums on housework and get myself into work. WOW!!! And so much girly clothing!!!! Maybe I am happy I am having another boy. :) More cost efficient.
I had my scan yesterday and baby is looking good and measuring a week ahead. The only concern is that the abdominal cavity was on the larger side. I suspect that I will fail my GD test in the coming weeks. As that is most of the time a sign of GD. My bile acid levels for the ICP was actually lower, so I am not sure what is going on with all of this crazy itching. But I am happy that the numbers are not in a dangerous level. The u/s tech was super nice and was not bothered that we had 3 of the boys with us. The littles had appointments earlier, so had to be with us and the 6yo was feeling left out and really wanted to see the baby. :) The tech knew we did not want to find out gender so she did a great job of keeping away from that area. She was funny and told us to look away as she did the bladder measurements and noticed I was still looking, so she did not give any clues away! Stinker. And she already knew what we were having because it is in our record. Have a wonderful day and I will post pics tomorrow as I forgot them at home and I am now at work, but we got some 3D pics that we have never had before. It was awesome.

Blue I'm sure all is well maybe if this pregnancy seems so different bump wise it's your boy [emoji170].
My dr visit today was a disaster!! I discovered for all my shots they've change the way they do it since last baby. I am considered "high risk" so I now have to see the dr every week until delivery [emoji24] which in turn puts me paying a deductible for every visit which means in total these shots are going to cost me $675 [emoji30][emoji24] I had a break down when I found that out which in turn made my blood pressure high for them! Looks like I'm done buying cute girly things for quite a while [emoji20]

So I've talked with him and we've decided to call the dr and either they will give me my prescription that I've paid for and they are holding onto so I can get the shots administered by my aunt that's an rn or I will quit taking them all together. I've only had two so far so it shouldn't put me into labor right nwouldnt think. And I have to have them weekly for 20 weeks

ash i hear you on the never ending laundry!! ARGH!! haha though i have to say my girls (especially my 2 year old) cause me more laundry issues than all 4 boys due to their clothes being lighter colours or white and more easily stained by food etc hello long soaks in either bleach water or stain remover, least the boys stuff can just get thrown in the washing machine!!
that seems quite sly for them to hike the price like that without you being aware until now, are you not convinced you need these shots? hope you dont mind me asking.. do you mean its you guys bd near the end of your pregnancy that puts you into early labor? did you have the shots with your boys? asking as you said all boys came early so if you did have shots with them id not be too convinced the shots do much for you..
blue did you gain more weight with your girls? again sorry to ask but for me i hardly gained anything with my 4 boys but i gained much more with my girls, even though my diet was very much the same, i just seem to hold more weight (fat) when pregnant with a girl :-/ i said this to my midwife last time "girls make me so fat" i think was my comment!! and she replied "everyone says that" said its a real trend she see's between those pregnant with boys vs girls, not everyone of course but it seems common to gain more with a girl.

Ash- I was wondering have you ever used progesterone cream? It's kind of like a lotion you just rub it on your belly. I used it for 4 of my pregnancies because I have had so many miscarriages. Anyway, my doctor said he could prescribe me shots or pills or I could just use the cream. I chose the cream because it was more natural easier to use and cheaper. Although my insurance doesn't cover the cream for me anyway so I had to pay for it out of my own pocket but for 1 whole pregnancy it cost maybe $200 total. So it's worth looking into if you need something cheaper. But I would say not to stop doing the shots cold turkey because a quick drop like that can cause preterm labor. I would definitely look into a good quality progesterone cream to replace the shots. My doctor had me use the cream until 39 weeks and within 3 days to a week after stopping the cream I would go into labor. I hope this is helpful information for you. ☺

4b2p I had the shots with my last baby. Ds1 tried to come at 34w after a bd session and I had no idea what was happening so by the time I went to hospital I was dilated all was stopped and I had procarida prescribed for the duration of pregnancy. Ds2 was induced at 36w6d for iugr, ds3 came 35w after bd session, ds4 I was on the shots with and he still came at 36w 6d after a bd session but if we would have attempted earlier I believe he would have came earlier. I'm scared to stop the shots just because I feel better safe than sorry but I also feel like it is 100% sperm that's started labor shot or no shot. So if we just stay away from that I'd think we would be ok. But then again I don't know because this is my 5th

That sucks Ash! Wow! I'm the same way- BDing causes me to go into preterm labor too. Luckily, they were able to stop it with my DS2. With our DS3, we found a condom that we both like and use it starting at 24-28 weeks. I thought things would be different this time around, but nope! Back to condoms for the rest of the pregnancy!
I hope things get resolved! Keep us posted!

Condoms who would of thought [emoji23] we've never in the 11 years married bought but one box and I think that was when we were dating [emoji85] I guess if he feels the need to release inside we can go that route. But 24-28w is about when I feel it kick in also. I just called the dr office told them I just couldn't afford to do that along with all the other added costs and I'm waiting on a call back with the answer from the dr. Even tho they wouldn't let me last pregnancy have my aunt do it I'm thinking they may give in this time since I said I'd quit.

Off topic, but was it you @Lolabelle that ordered the super cute elephant pillow (paying only shipping) from Classy Ella? Did you get it? Was your order the correct item? I got a cheap elephant key chain instead of the baby pillow and am now trying to see what I can do to rectify the problem.

Laurelw I wonder if this is girl symptom because I've been having them also! But I think mine could be partially stress because as soon as I had my blow up in the dr I got a headache then they took my bp and it was really high for me.
Pbn I'm so jealous of that weight gain unfortunately I've gained 14lbs [emoji51] and mostly all of it was in the first 8 weeks [emoji33]!
Problem averted all I needed to do was have a pregnancy breakdown in the dr office. They're allowing me to have my aunt give the shots! Just saved myself $375!

ash i hear you on the never ending laundry!! ARGH!! haha though i have to say my girls (especially my 2 year old) cause me more laundry issues than all 4 boys due to their clothes being lighter colours or white and more easily stained by food etc hello long soaks in either bleach water or stain remover, least the boys stuff can just get thrown in the washing machine!!
that seems quite sly for them to hike the price like that without you being aware until now, are you not convinced you need these shots? hope you dont mind me asking.. do you mean its you guys bd near the end of your pregnancy that puts you into early labor? did you have the shots with your boys? asking as you said all boys came early so if you did have shots with them id not be too convinced the shots do much for you..
blue did you gain more weight with your girls? again sorry to ask but for me i hardly gained anything with my 4 boys but i gained much more with my girls, even though my diet was very much the same, i just seem to hold more weight (fat) when pregnant with a girl :-/ i said this to my midwife last time "girls make me so fat" i think was my comment!! and she replied "everyone says that" said its a real trend she see's between those pregnant with boys vs girls, not everyone of course but it seems common to gain more with a girl.I didn't gain much with the first 2 due to MS and with DD3 due HE diet i was just eating like crazy so i gained the most weight of any pregnancy but this time my weight is actually falling despite consistent diet and no exercise so it seemed odd to me.

It is insane blue! I guess this 17p is fairly new within a few years maybe? But when I was talking to the makeena care which is the company that makes it. I was complaining that it was higher than last pregnancy and she said "mam without your insurance this is $5600 for 5 shots" I bout fell outta my chair! Like how in the world could it even cost close to that much to make it and why would you even want to charge that much just so people can have healthy full term babies?

Hello ladies!!
Sorry for my MIA, am on the Sunshine Coast with my in laws until Monday and the wifi is so patchy lol
Anyways, hope all is well, just saw you got your p17 shots issue sorted, Ash, phew!!!
I can so sympathise, the progesterone pessaries I have to use are $115 for 2 weeks , so it's am expensive exercise :( I need a new script to be able to source compounded ones over the commercially available ones I was prescribed, would be cheaper..
Oh and have my pic of baby bean :) which doesn't want yo load so will try again later!
Will also see him on the 24th when I see my fert specialist and have made the appointment for my nuchal scan on the 19th (significant day for hubs and I as that is our 10th anniversary). Will get the Nipt done around the first days of September so hope that by mid September we'll know what is hiding in there :)

So maybe this has been gas baby all along [emoji53] First pic is taken 27th July and second pic just now 30th July. Coincidentally I started a completely vegan diet yesterday but my tummy bloat had already started going down yesterday so highly doubt my diet change had anything to do with it [emoji23] Is anyone here on a vegan diet? Do you take extra supplements during pregnancy? here here! I had terrible meat and fat aversion during my first trimester and ended up on a starch based vegan diet. I don't take any supplements (with the exception of bvit injection occasionally and magnesium) and I haven't put on almost any weight, I actually lost all of my swaying weigh (I'm totally coining that term!). I do eat a bite of chicken and maybe some lamb, but literally a bit every few weeks, so I don't label myself a vegan. Lovely bump!

Lola, I wonder what she's having also! I have friends with 2 girls that went on to have a 3rd (and 4th) and I've truly seen a split between boys and girls. But I will be stalking her also! ;)
Kat, I have 3 sisters and we are all so incredibly different, but I think that's what makes us work so well together. I think if we had the same personalities, we would clash more, you know? My girls are also polar opposites - DD1 is very studious, intense, wants to be a lawyer like daddy when she grows up. DD2 is a free spirit, has no sense of time or schedules, and wants to be an artist when she grows up. That makes them work together beautifully (mainly because DD1 knows she can boss DD2 around). Hoping that this one falls in the middle of them and gets the best from both!

My 4 guys are similar to your. My only challenge is that DS1 lives with his dad most of the time (for now :( ) and is Autistic, so his personality is tough at times. DS2 is strong willed and stubborn, but also super sweet. He loves to brush my hair. DS3 is our cuddle bug. He seeks out a lap to sit on most of the time. DS4 is our little hellion. He is mellow all day home with Dad and then causes all kinds of crazy when his brothers get home. We shall see what #5 brings, but they are all different even if they look alike. :)

My oldest son is calm and caring and helpful. My second son is always trying to be in charge and is stubborn and strongwilled. My third son very hyper and loud but can still be kind and helpful at times. My fourth son is a lot like my 3rd son although he is always busy trying to pick on his sister and tease her. And my daughter actually kind of behaves a little bit like each one of my boys and her father but also has her own funny personality. And she tries to be helpful around the house but she also loves clothes so she goes through more outfits each day than my boys do in a week. She changes her clothes every hour or so, so there's lots and lots of laundry. ☺

Ash- i am glad to hear you got your progesterone shots situation all figured out.☺ I think it's just crazy how much they are charging you for those. And I don't understand why insurance doesn't cover it either. Our insurance never covered much either and for our last 3 boys we had to pay circumcision costs which ended up being $1000 for each son. Talk about ridiculous, a less than 5 minute procedure shouldnt cost that much. It is beyond me why the insurance doesn't cover that anymore either.

Ash, that's so funny how you say two difficult & two calm. At least they took turns for you! My DS2 is the little terror, but also the cuddler, so [emoji31] It's a scary combo! But based off of your pattern this baby will also be a terror. Lol thing is that I'm predicting it will be too!!!
Shann, that is the cutest! I've never seen a scan with their tongue out. How awesome!
Lola, what's been everyone's reactions to your gender reveal? You had said your coworkers were predicting girl right? Sounds like they'll be very excited for you.

It was even funnier that DS4 was "blowing rasberries" (spitting with his tongue out) while the u/s tech was taking that pic of the baby. It was like they were sticking their tongues out at each other. We were all laughing at that.

Ash-awesome! Way to go! Is your MS better now?
Babypink & Ash-it was fun spilling the beans on my first day back to work today! We all created a Google slide that our principal put up on the projector. As our new catch word "Explore," she had us create a slide about where we explored this summer. As she went through the slides, she had each of us explain our own. Some went to Disney, some went to tropical places. Mine came up & everyone got excited as they saw the U/S pic. I didn't reveal gender right away. I announced that our next big adventure is expecting #3 and said "as most of you know, we have 2 boys, we already know gender & this time.... it's a GIRL!" They were all so excited & cheered. They were so sweet & many of them came up to congratulate me & ask details. A routine is good, but it was a long day of meetings....don't think I'm ready to be back ugh! I'll add a screenshot of my slide, then delete. It may be a little a little fuzzy

No sex, DH is not here with me. I went for a long walk this morning, but that's the only thing. I do have mild cramping and it's light bleeding, but red nonetheless. I haven't called the doctor, it's 9pm here. And DH isn't here so I can't leave the girls to go for a scan. We are supposed to have visitors coming tomorrow morning. My dr appt was supposed to be Tuesday of next week. I am praying it's nothing but I'm so incredibly sad at the moment.

My first emc started with a strong af type cramp followed by bleeding only when I wiped for a couple hours, then it slowly increased until it was like a period. Also I saw my ob. It's not PUPPS but he is a tad concerned it could be the liver related thing considering I had bad gallbladder and bile issues in my third trimester with my DD. They went away straight after birth so never got it out. I haven't had any paid this time but he wants to make sure because of the high risk it could mean for bubby.
I'm sure it's just a crappy pregnancy rash. Plus my stupid thrush is still on and off too!

As far as seeing/notifying your RE, I would wait until you know more information. If, this is a miscarriage, then they can help you get a plan for TTCing again. BUT, I'm praying you won't need to do that!!

Max- I've had bleeding in this pregnancy and my last one too. With my DS3, I bled A LOT. I was for sure that I was miscarrying, since the bleeding was accompanied by lots of cramping. I ended up having a blood clot where the baby implanted (Subchorionic hemrrohage- SCH). I was told this is common and should resolve on its own. I hope that is what is going on with you.
Keep us posted as you can- you have your hands full right now with all of this and taking care of your DD's too.

Hello Ladies.
Sorry for being MIA. I have been reading though. My ph's keypad wasn't working. Just got a new one. I missed you all.
Max- Hugs my dear. I am praying so hard for you. I am so sorry for this difficult time and thinking about you. I pray everything is ok. It's going to be tricky taking dds when they don't know about the pregnancy but we did that too until 8 weeks and told the nurse and the doctor about it and they tried their best to keep it that way and we gave her our ph and let her watch videos and she didn't even care what was going on. She is almost 6. Hope this helps. You hang in there and know that a lot of prayers are with you. Love!
Bluebooties- So glad that you heard the Heartbeat. I know you waited so long for this appointment. 140 sounds low(boyish) to me. My dd's hb was always 160-180. This time too. So I would be excited if it would be 140.
Ash - I am so glad that they are letting your aunt give you the shots. Such a relief and saving. I really feel somethings in our health system are so unfair. How are you doing?
Lolla - How are you soon to be a girl's mama.[emoji175][emoji175]I read about the back to school announcement. How cute and so happy that everyone was soooo sweet about it. I was so thrilled to see the Nub shots in your post in u/s forum. ❤️❤️ There is no denying that she is a girl. [emoji4][emoji4]
Dancingdiva- Sounds scary. Hope all is ok. What is your OB recommending?
Iwant4kids- Glad the Baby is doing good. So happy for you. Seeing the heartbeat always calms my nerves. I am so scared before every u/s until I see the heartbeat. Will wait for an update after your first appointment. Hope the ms gets better soon.
Pbn - How are you? You must be sleeping right now. Miss you and sent u a pm as soon as I got my ph.
Mommy2apples- How are you doing? So happy to be bk connecting with you all.
LMSM - How are you my dear? How are you feeling? I remember your family was visiting you. Are they with you?
Afm, I m checking my blood sugar 4 times a day and walking more than an hour and a half everyday. [emoji849][emoji849]Eating just to survive but I m glad that I am not on insulin as I don't want to start it. I just want to keep
My bs levels in check with diet and exercise. Fx I could do it until the baby is here.
It's so unfair that blood sugar reading limits here in CA are stricter than other States. So a number which is considered high here is way under normal if I were in a different State.
Sorry about the venting. I have a stock because of being away for so many days. [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
Hope I didn't miss anyone.

Hi sky good to hear from u. Yes this was my 2nd visit after the initial 9 week check up. Now i have about 6 weeks till my next visit at end of September.
Thats good that ur able to maintain blood glucose through diet and exercise.
I did not know that about CA. I would thing ACOG guidelines would apply all over USA but i have seen physician to physician variations.

She said it's because CA has a different program and they are more strict. I just had a look on my face which I am sure she understood. Like really? As if it's a cake walk doing all this so why not make it even harder just because you are in CA.
So doesn't your OB do monthly appointments? I go every 4-5 weeks depending on her availability.

When I checked my BS I never had a single high number without making changes to my diet and exercise. Granted, I always exercise in some form throughout my pregnancy, but still! Just do the best you can! I'm confident you'll be fine! As you get bigger, try walking instead.

https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/6513f2Yes that is weird. I bet its a way for them to get more ladies to screen positive and make money out of it.
Yes i am supposed to do evrry 4 week visits but the thing is i only have 2 weeks off per month. If they fall on my month to be seen in and doc has availability i make an appointment otherwise i just have to skip. I went at 9weeks couldn't go the 12 week then today was 16 week and then i don't have time till the 22nd week for the next appointment.

Max- I am praying that everything turns out well for you. I had some bleeding in the beginning of this pregnancy due to a subchorionic hematoma. It was the same size as the gestational sac. It can be very scary. I hope they check your hcg and progesterone levels as well as do an ultrasound so you can be sure of what's going on. I hope all turns out well. So sorry you have to go through all this stress.

I'm carrying much higher this time, because her placenta is at the very top of my uterus. My hips haven't gotten bigger like they do with my first two boys. I'm feeling her kicks super high! I'm just glad I don't have to do the pelvic exercises to get her to be head down. She's been head down since 18 weeks!

Awe, you're so sweet! I feel huge, haha! Probably because the placenta is so high and her feet is up there kicking all the time, haha!
My weight gain has stopped. This always happens around 28-30 weeks in all of my pregnancies. I may be good for another 2-5 more lbs though. Once I get to be a certain size, I can't seem to eat as much. Maybe this is why? I walk 4-8 miles 3-5 times a week to train my lungs for labor. I don't have a gym membership, otherwise I would do the elliptical for 45-60min 3-5 times a week. This helps me labor quickly- at least I think it does anyway, haha! It could be genetics- both my Grandma and I have had easy labors 3-6hrs long. She used to walk a lot too.
Sorry for rambling, but I'm not sure why! I'm glad though- I don't talk much about the weight gain with my DS3- *cough* 50lbs *cough* [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]! I was the skinniest pre-pregnancy weight too!! Made me so mad, but I was hungry ALL. THE. TIME. No joke- I would eat a meal and watch the clock until 2hrs went by so I could have a snack again! Who does that?!? I now know why I gained all that weight- he eats constantly, because he doesn't have growth spurts- he grows constantly! 4in at a time! He will be 36-38in tall by 2! My DS2 was 40in when he was 3!

Pbn I think the only reason I feel movement is because of the doppler. I can hear and fee the kicks at the same time. And thanks for the compliment but my hair doesn't look like this anymore lol I seen this pic and was in awe of how shiny and smooth my hair was and how nice my skin looked [emoji23]. Boy oh boy what 8 years and 3 more pregnancies will do.
Xx not rambling i love hearing any tips anyone has to make natural labor go any smoother since I'm considering this time!

Oh, I also stretch and do Yoga 3 times a week too! I have a tight hip and refuse to suffer with my sciatic nerve acting up in labor! Thank God it hasn't, but I'm too afraid to not to my Yoga and find out! Plus, I think the long walks and Yoga help to get your mind in the place to be able to stay ahead of the pain- they both are like a moving meditation.
The one and only thing that stood out to me during my child-birthing classes that actually helped me during labor is this: view contractions like a wave. You want to ride the wave like you're surfing. If you allow your mind to feel the pain, you will be overcome by the wave and not be able to continue. If you stay ahead of the contractions, or "ride the wave", you will be able to handle them and not need interventions. Your mind will not help you, only your body will. Keeping your mind still, breathing through the contractions, and not allowing them to overcome you, will allow you to have an unmedicated birth. Some people need music, etc. but I find it too distracting. I need to cage my mind, haha! I'm too type -A and need it to take a back seat! I also like to squeeze my DH's hand. I find it helps to release the pain like breathing does so I don't hold onto any and can be ready for the next contraction. Mind you, I only need to do this once I reach 7-8cm. Otherwise I feel fine and don't believe the nurse when she says we are going to have a baby! For some reason after my DS1, I don't realize I'm in labor [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]! I always get to the hospital when I'm having painful Braxton Hicks and have no cervical changes [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]! They have me walk for 60min, and I'm a 6, and in disbelief that I haven't felt a thing [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]!
My plan this time is to walk at home for 60min when I feel the regular, painful Braxton Hicks and go to the hospital thereafter. That way I'll only need to go be admitted for them to catch the baby!

I saw the baby. [emoji175] Heart beating away at 112, which is exactly what DD1 was. I have a lot of internal bleeding that they are trying to find out reason for, but baby is not affected. The doctor has 2 girls 1 boy and said for our sake we should pray it's a boy. I'll send pics soon, going to meet with them to discuss...just wanted to do a quick update.

Thank you all so much!! I'm sorry for delayed response. It's been such a whirlwind of an afternoon and I'm so ready for bed (and it's only 645pm). So I have what's considered a "large" subchronic hematoma (xx think this is what you said!). I'm on forced bed rest until bleeding stops. The doctor said I have a true 50/50 shot of miscarriage due to the size. I'm just going to take it day by day and try to not get too connected. Praying that it will work itself out. Have you ladies experienced it? The dr also said there can be increased risk of preterm labor. Scary!
Not sure what her boy comment was all about, but didn't love that she said that in front of the girls. I find all the comments so strange. I'm assuming she meant that three girls would be drama?
Xx, good for you!! I'm a big runner but walked throughout my pregnancies. I delivered DD1 in 3 hours and DD2 in less than 20 mins from the time I checked into the hospital. The OB told me that genetics do play a big part, but walking is one of the best things for smooth deliveries. I plan to do the same this time around so long as I'm not on bed rest. [emoji120]

Max-what a huge relief!!! That is such wonderful news!!! Can't wait to see pics. I'm curious as well to hear what they believe the cause of your internal bleeding is. Keep us posted! Isn't this the dr who said previously that she wanted you to have a boy? Maybe that's just what she's hoping for you???
Blue-glad you were able to hear the beautiful sound of baby's heartbeat! Mine was 158...you never know...you could still have a blue bundle in there!!! [emoji170]
Ash-what a beautiful pic!!!!! You'll be holding another precious baby just in time for the new year!! [emoji175][emoji166]
Sky-great to hear from you!!! Missed your updates! Thanks, the nub shot def reassured me!! Sounds like you're doing a great job keeping bs levels under control! You know you can vent here anytime [emoji173]
XX & Shann-love both of your beautiful bumps!!
Iwant4-sorry you're feeling so sick, but what a cute bean! Have you shared the news at work yet? I know you can relate to the beginning of the school craziness! Meetings, trainings, planning, organizing....
Pbn-hope you're doing great! Meetings are over for the weekend...back to trainings on Monday grrr. How are your boys? Are they curious about the baby? Or oblivious? From time to time, my boys want to talk to my belly & they will work about sitting on my lap sometimes (sitting on the baby 🤣)

Xx thanks for the tips. I've not had any classes for natural birth but I'm pretty tough I've just always had a epidural because I never seen a point not to in the past. I think my labor will fly without one though.
Max hope all turns out ok that's pretty scary. I've never experienced one but do they go away or stay with you the duration of pregnancy? Bed rest is stinky just load up of frozen meals hopefully you have family and friends that can stock you up. I'd totally deliver if I were closer ☹️. Do they think you walked cause the bleed to start?

Max- Good to know what is causing the bleeding! Definitely follow their orders on bedrest. When do you go in to check on the size? They had me come in every two weeks to monitor mine. Mine was smaller but the bleeding took 2 weeks to stop despite bedrest! I'm hoping and praying that it resolves itself! I'll still keep you in my prayers!

Max - So glad to hear the good news! And glad your Momma could come help. I think you said your husband works a lot so was wondering who's gonna watch the girls [emoji5]
Nothing new with me! Feeling much better nausea wise but I'm afraid I've eaten way too much this week. I feel like my belly is huge some days, but I guess I'm 14 weeks so should show some.
Sky - glad your back and well! No gender clues from ultrasound, but tech asked if I saved my girls clothes so I'm thinking this is girl #3 which I'm surprisingly getting more and more ok with. My oldest daughter wants a(nother) sister so that helps to hear. And my DH said this week how can we not want another girl, ours are awesome. He still has no clue I swayed [emoji23]
But, the comments are already coming and annoying me so there's that. Like if I tell people my daughter wants another sister, they go really?! I guess I don't understand why she wouldn't. I had 1 sister growing up and would've loved another one.
I do feel small kicks now and then and it makes me so happy!
Dancing- I hope your ok!!

Max- I had a large subchorionic hematoma. They finally took me off bed rest this last week at 15 weeks. I have been on bed rest from 5 weeks until 15 weeks. Anyway, they told me to help heal the hematoma that I was to not lift anything and sit and lay down as much as possible. Also, if they didn't tell you this eat a lot of protein it helps to repair your uterus and to get plenty of vitamin k and c, from things like salad and spinach which you can even grind up and put in spaghetti or other meals if you need to just to get it into your diet, and drink a lot of water which is very important so your uterus doesn't start contracting from dehydration. Also, did they check your hcg and progesterone levels? Sometimes they will treat low progesterone levels with a progesterone supplement. And some doctors use progesterone just as a precaution with subchorionic hematomas. I had ultrasounds weekly until this last time where they waited 2 weeks. Also, if you have morning sickness that makes you throw up a lot this can actually make the hematoma worse from the straining of your stomach from throwing up, they then put me on zofran because I was unable to keep anything not even water. Just some things you could talk to them about next time you go in. But rest as much as possible it's very important. I'll keep you in my prayers and i hope everything goes well. Also even after the bleeding stops and the clot forms it can still be lodged out so still be very careful. One last thing my doctor told me is very important, is no orgasms for sure but also they told me to just not have sex until it healed because this will cause the uterus to contract and will make the hematoma bigger. Anyway, these are the things they told me to follow and i did and so far things have been healing but obviously you do what works for you. I just wanted to share with you what I was told by my doctor to do that helped me.

Max, good to hear everything is ok. I had a large hematoma with DS2. It went away on its own with no bleeding. My doctor said it's possible to either bleed or have the body absorb it, so your body should know what to do.
Blue, 140 sounds pretty average, so I don't think it really indicates gender. Were you swaying boy? I wish I would've kept note of my boys HR, but this one was 167 so I'm hoping that means girl.
Xx, did you say you felt you're carrying different this time around? Not sure who else said their bump is a bit different than with their boys, but at only 9 weeks I'm also feeling like I'm carrying differently. My bloating is starting higher this time, like right under my chest, as opposed to just in my lower belly. Just wondering if it's true that boys and girl are carried differently.
Kat, did the tech say that after looking at bub? Or was it just as a conversation starter? Because that's a pretty telling comment. Unless she just wanted to throw you off and wondering what your guess is. I don't know. I don't like head games!
