Hey guys I'm going crazy wondering about gender too!!! I'm 8w with twins after swaying w clomid. Swayed pink. I don't really have nausea but am so exhausted I can't function. Had scan last week, 2 strong hb, nervous as crap about next week's scan, praying still 2 strong hb's!

Off topic but is sour cream, like store bought Daisy brand, safe in pg??? Just ate some and panicked a little.

Awesome news Houseofblue!! I hope you get positive news at next week's scan. I have one next Tuesday and I'm so nervous about it. I'm 9 weeks today. Just hoping and praying baby is still growing and healthy! I still haven't told the family yet - thinking of announcing on Christmas Eve if all is well. Haven't figured out how. I'm not showing yet - just a bit bloated! I think I can hold off for another few weeks.

Has anyone else announced their pregnancies?

Simplypink, I’m nine weeks today, and I’m noticing my belly starting to poke out a little bit too. I’m probably the only one that would notice other than a couple people at work who’ve commented. I think what they see is just what’s always there, but now that they know I’m pregnant they’re contributing it to that LOL

Houseofblue, Can they tell what kind of twins they are yet? I sure hope sour cream is safe because I’m craving it and eating it a lot on quesadillas LOL. Best of luck with your scan next week! I also have one next week. I’m so nervous one of the twins heartbeats will stop beating, and i won’t know it since I’m on progesterone and I’ll find out at the ultrasound or something

MLKA, Best of luck for your ultrasound Tuesday! I’m 9 weeks today also :). We’re carrying little grapes in there! Lol we have a big Christmas party here December 30 with Our family, parents etc. I’m thinking of announcing it then. I’m thinking of buying presents that say like grandparents of twins sort of thing to announce it for Christmas presents

Thanks Ellirosanne - do they know what kind of twins you're having? Aw...our little grapes...can't wait to see next week.

That would be a great time to announce and it's even more special with twins!
My mom just had two granddaughters this year so she would be extra excited to get the news of a grandson especially. She has lots of granddaughters, including my 2. Either way, it would be nice for all of them to grow up together :-)

Good luck on your scan Ellirosanne!! Can't wait to hear how things go for everyone.

HI, Room for one more? I have been member for years , I am fortunate to be Pregnant with Twin Girls after PGD cycle in Cyprus , transfer was 4th of November of Two hatching AA female blasts , I had a positive urine at 6dp5dt and my nausea is way worse than my 4 boys pregnancies so far ! I was not suprised to see two yesterday on the 7.5 week scan but also can't believe they both took! I travelled from Australia, couldn't afford HRC just never got enough saved so tried cyprus and thank god its so far worked ! I look forward to the journey my due date was 23 July with 1 but obviously twins will be earlier .... so happy for you all in this group so far and it looks like a few twins so i'm in good company for this journey :) Cheers Grace

MLKA, thank you! Mine will each have their own placenta and their own amniotic sac Because we transferred to embryos versus one embryo splitting into two

DreamingRainbow, From what I understand, even if you have a baby that stops growing, your body will continue to carry the pregnancy while you’re on progesterone because of the high level of hormonal control

Grace, welcome to the pregnancy board and congratulations on your twins!!!! Soooo exciting!

Hi. Does anyone know what the 'correct' levrl range thyroid function tests should show during pregnancy? My thyroid levels are being monitored by my gp but I'm not confident that he will monitor my levels properly so I want to have as much info so I can see for myself if my levels are in the right ranges. Thanks.

Hey guys, some sad news. As you all know I got pg with twins first round with clomid. 8.5 weeks today, had scan and baby B had no hb. Stopped growing at 8w. Baby A has a great hb 173.
Baby B's sac was much smaller and they are saying most likely chromosomal issues.
I'm gutted.
Praying baby A is a girl.

Houseofblue, I’m so sorry to read your update! How heartbreaking! That’s one of my worst fears, is going into my ultrasound and having one or both twins having stopped growing and no heartbeat. Welcome naciremadream! Congrats on your pregnancy, so excited for all these summer babies :)

How exciting to be having twins ellirosanne! Did you use clomid or is these twins all natural?

Hi J-ellybean! What a wonderful due date, that’s my birthday :) so exciting you got to hear the heartbeat. How many weeks are you then?

Question for those on here who have been pregnant before- I had a fever last night. I took Tylenol and the fever is gone today, but I know there are not very good associations with fever during the first trimester. Has this happened to anyone else and what was your outcome? I’m going to call my doctor, but it’s too early here still.

Had our 8 week scan yesterday and everything looks good. We told our kids at the appointment by showing them the screen. My five year old came and held my had and looked at the baby and me better than any Christmas gift. He’s thrilled. I felt so much love for my kids without knowing gender of baby. So amazing. This is part of why I don’t find out gender. Still, anxiety is there, especially when five year old said it was a brother. Oh goodness. Still due July 21.

Awesome news Geek mama!! I had my scan yesterday too and brought my 14-year old daughter along since we had an appointment for her earlier. She was so excited! The heartbeat was strong and my little bean was just jumping around in there! It was a beautiful sight to see, esp after 3 miscarriages. We told my 10-year old daughter later that day and she was very excited. They both want another sister of course

I am 10 weeks today and the nausea is at its worse. I don't vomit still - just have an upset stomach for most of the day and periods of fatigue. I'm still not showing, thank goodness. I'm not ready to tell my boss yet. Or our family - I told the girls we will announce around Christmas - at least by then I'd be close to the end of the first trimester.

Hope everyone is feeling ok. And welcome Jellybean!

That’s actually why I choose to find out. We chose to not find out gender for our first and I didn’t bond with my oldest at all during pregnancy. We found out with our second and I liked that so much more. I bonded with him and I was able to ‘prepare’ for another boy. Obviously everyone feels differently, but finding out gender was much better for us.

Geek mama- that’s so cute!! I have been thinking about taking my boys to see a songram but I think I’ll wait till the 12 week one. I wish I could wait to find out the gender but I’m far too impatient.

We had an 8 week ultrasound and baby is measuring perfect with a very strong heartbeat of 190 bpm- is that too much? Doc said it’s perfect but seemed high to me. While I was there the doctor schedule my NIPT test for when I’m 10 weeks! I can’t believe I’ll be finding out the gender so soon! Is anyone doing gender reveal? Any ideas?

190 is just fine! Babies heart rates tend to drop the closer they get to term. Babies are all sympathetic nervous system this early on, so their heart rates tend to be quite high (I’m an OB nurse, haha).

I think I’m going to have gestational diabetes again with this pregnancy. I’m only 9 weeks, but I had a dental apt this morning that took a while, and by the time it was over I’d gone past when I usually eat lunch and I felt really weak and my hands were shaking and my thoughts were a bit fuzzy. I went to the first food place I saw and I ordered a sample platter to share with my little one because I couldn’t concentrate on what to order and figured it’d be a good variety. When I paid, my hands were shaking so bad I was embarrassed. She probably thought I was coming down from
Something or something. Luckily the platter was delicious. I recognize exactly what happened from my past pregnancy though. I was having a hypoglycemic episode. Which means I probably am already having blood sugar issues. I’ll do a one hour fasting glucose test Monday..... I hate the strict diabetic diet, which will be even harder with nausea

If it’s short lived it’s okay, but if you can’t keep water down for more than 24 hours you may need to get some IV hydration. Sometimes things like popsicles or chewing ice stay down better than plain water..have you tried anything like that? Hopefully this passes for you, but if it doesn’t call your doctor.

Greydore - that's exactly how I feel. I don't mind having another daughter but I do want to know early to prepare myself. I really want this boy more for hubby and I know he will need time to get used to the idea of having a 3rd daughter. He keeps saying that he's fine as long as the baby is healthy but I know he feels sad when he's around his friends with their sons and he wants that for himself. I'd rather we both know what gender to expect when the time comes.

Aw Feel better Dreaming...I wish I had magic tips. It's nice that we have some nurses on our group though :-)

And thanks Elliroseanne!! Actually my 14-year old daughter figured it out because I had been so sick. I had been pregnant 4x in the last 3 years so she remembers the symptoms. She asked me the night before my ultrasound if I was pregnant again and she was pretty worried because of my other losses. Now she wants to go to all my appointments to make sure me and baby are ok, which is very sweet of her.
Also - I hope things are ok - glad you caught it early if it is GD.

Elirosane- hope your test results come back normal. I always shake when I don’t eat. With my last pregnancy I would definitely get the shakes if I didn’t eat every couple hours. I was so scared I would have it again with my second but I ended up not having it again. Hoping to hear good news for you.

Mlka- I am also very nervous! Honestly, I’m so scared, I almost want to delay it a little :/ I didn’t ask how long it took to get the results but a few of my friends said it took them about a week.

We did a sneak peak at work today and both babies were wiggling around in there! We were only able to get a somewhat recognizable as human baby (I think) shot, lol, and one where you can kind of see both babies at once if you can see through the blur... it was an abd us3842138422

Well I survived the bug. Feel weak and tired but at least the sickness has stopped. I'm trying to rehydrate as quickly as I can as I'm worried this has damaged baby somehow. I have a scan next week. Nervous and excited!

Get lots of rest and fluids, and those little babies are so well protected, we go without so they can have the best of our bodies resources. I know how you feel though, I was scared too when I was sick. Best of luck with your scan next week! I can’t wait to read your update from it!

I didn’t. This was an accident. Hubby didn’t pull out in time when we DTD the day before I ovulated. LOL! I was dieting in general though trying to lose weight; 1800 calories a day max, cinnamon and inositol supplements for blood sugar support. I didn’t monitor fat or protein intake, though it would be less than I normally consume as I was eating a lot of soups that were basically just broth and noodles and a lot more salads.

Did you mention you have found out with your other children? Did you enjoy that? I would only recommend not finding out if it really won’t be hard. Like the people that are just dying to know but ‘resist’ finding out...I’m just like why? What’s the point? I’ve done it both ways and much prefer finding out during pregnancy. The ‘surprise’ at delivery wasn’t worth it to me. Just my two cents!

I had a scare Thursday night - I was in the store doing some Christmas shopping and all of a sudden I felt wet down below. I rushed home and sure enough I was bleeding. I called the doctor and, since the bleeding wasn't heavy, they asked me to call the office first thing in the morning. I stayed in bed the remainder of the evening and the bleeding got lighter. Hubby and I was so scared and I was thinking the worse because when I woke up the next day my breasts weren't sore and I felt different - I didn't even feel nauseated. I tried not to freak out. The doctor didn't see me until noon! They checked baby and the heartbeat was strong and I am only very lightly spotting but it was a reminder how quickly things can change. I'm sorry - I also don't want to be a downer. That was pretty scary though. Funny enough - the nausea and sore breasts are back in full force this morning!
Prayers for all our little ones!!

[emoji170]10/2013 [emoji170]2/2016Generally our 1st app in hosp is at 12 weeks so most book a private scan for reassurance. I'm being scanned early due to previous miscarriages. Grace I am so sorry about the loss of one of your twins, I’ll be thinking of you.

Dreaming I’m due August 8. I could do a private scan but it’s really expensive. Some doctors do routine scans around 8 weeks for dating, but not all do. I could always scan myself at work, but our machine isn’t that sensitive and I’m not trained at reading them. I might just have to be patient!

Grace, oh no! I’m so so sorry for the loss of one of your twins! That’s truly heartbreaking! So hoping with you that twin B continues to grow healthy and strong! Greydore, that is such a clever idea! I can't wait to read all about it after you present it to them! I'm doing a coffee mug Christmas present for my mom to unwrap that says grandmother of twins. I won't see her till the 30th, so I'll give it to her to unwrap then....

Grace, you are in my thoughts love

Dreaming rainbow i'm sorry about your losses especially a late one xx

I have had my next scan and twin A has passed :( Twin B looks great i am praying my GS girl can continue on.. I was thrilled about having twins but i am grateful that so far my only pregnancy loss was one twin and the other is good, its def a mixed feeling losing one but not the other? One girl with 4 brothers will be amazing anyway but i did like the sound of sisters. feeling grateful xxx

i hope everyone has good scans and have good a good christmas xx

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I can totally understand how you would feel, as I’m currently carrying two too. Everything happens for a reason and you’ve got to stay positive for your other little girl in there. X

Heard baby’s heartbeat at dr today [emoji4] 147. Had to take early sugar test from where I had it with my two year old. Will find out results on that tomorrow. Hoping I passed and hoping I’ll pass at 28 weeks as well.
Anyways hope everyone had a merry Christmas. Just sort of glanced through, I’m sorry for the loss of the twin grace. So many hugs. Am thankful for your one healthy baby.

thanks mommy2apples , my mum lost a twin at 17 weeks 35 years ago so she had it worse than me, my sister has identical twin boys 8 months old they were cute at xmas but i'm grateful they are boys so i wont have as many triggers as far as missing my other one i hope anyway. I have 4 boys i love but just praying this dream little girl completes our family. I feel like the nausea could let up a bit now that im only carrying one live baby but my body still acts like there is two i think? my nausea is way worse than all 4 boys... thanks for this place to vent by the way. only being 10 weeks not everyone knows about the pregnancy . xx

Hope everyone had a merry Christmas! My parents were so excited/surprised, it was so fun to see their reaction. On the other hand, I am so thrown off by this pregnancy. I have some annoying symptoms, but it’s by far the easiest first trimester I’ve had. I was so miserable with my boys, I can’t believe how not crappy I feel right now! I haven’t had an ultrasound yet so I hope everything is okay.

Greydore that was such an awesome gift! I didn't tell my family yet - even though I had almost all my brothers and sisters and their families at my house on Christmas Eve. I want to wait till my scan on the 2nd...I'm kinda worried after that bleeding episode. If all goes well I'll send a pic of the ultrasound to everyone and wish them a happy new year. I can't wait till everyone knows.

I will be 12 weeks tomorrow but yesterday I really thought I felt the baby move while I was resting on my couch. This is my 6th pregnancy (with 2 kids). I know I have been gassy lately but that really felt like the baby moving. Is that even possible to feel it this early?!

Mommy2apples - good luck with your results today!

Mlka , praying everything will be just fine for you! You could’ve definitely been feeling the baby!

passed my sugar test! The 1 hour one! That never happens! I always have to take the three hour one usually! I need to get back to working out and only allowing myself sweets once a day as I will have to take another sugar test at 28 weeks. Hey everyone! My nausea kicked in at 5+1 it's 24hr just like dd5. It lasted until 26weeks with her though :( I remember my midwife at the time saying it must be another girl as I had nausea with the rest of them too :(

Mommy2apples, I had gestational diabetes my last two pregnancies, and I failed my 1 hour glucose test, so I had to do the three hour test. I failed the first hour, but passed the second two, so they are diagnosing me with glucose intolerance right now. So we aren’t monitoring my sugars or anything, just eating lower carbs. I will have to do the 3 hour glucose test again at 28 weeks. I’m so happy for you that you passed your one hour test!

Grace, have you tried anything for the nausea? I have been taking vitamin B6 every six hours and unisom at bedtime, and it’s really helping.

Wow Babybeaublue - 26 weeks! Hopefully it'll be different this time around! Sounds like we could both also try the vitamin B6 Ellirosanne mentioned. Also, I had the same symptoms for my boy that I did with my 2 girls so I doubt the nausea means it's another girl for u. Blue thoughts for both of us! :fingers:

I’m currently 7 weeksish and have been dealing with constant round the clock nausea. My last two boys I would only get sick if I didn’t eat. This time it doesn’t matter. I’m miserable. We swayed for a girl so I’m hoping this drastic difference in morning sickness is a good sign.

I struggle with taking oral tablets at the best of times but im still on estrofem 3 times a day, ifol and folate and asprin i will have to get some b6 but i hope they are a small tablet? the nausea makes taking even the small ones hard yuk
i actually dont mind the laying down 3 times a day for the progesterone pessaries lol i usually fall asleep :)

My LMP was November 28th and I o'ed on December 14th. I had my BFP yesterday so I'm like 4w 2d pregnant. Until now, no symptoms other than bloating and very sore breasts. No nausea whatsoever. I guess is still to early.

We swayed for a girl. I was on Vitex and metformin and I tried the girl LE diet for our first month trying. I also conceived in a scorpio moon and I tried the most to stick to negative ions around my house.

I'm sorry for my bad english in advance!

Hi ladies! Mind if I join in? I have two girls and just got my BFP this morning! I’m only 9 dpo, but I got my BFP super early with my first daughter- so I thought I’d give it a shot. I swayed for a boy, but honestly anymore I’m not super picky. Or maybe I’m just saying that because I’m sure it’s a girl.

Anyway, hi everyone! And congrats on your BFPs!!

Hi all! Just got my BFP on Christmas night! We have a 5 month old daughter so needless to say this was definitely a huge surprise. We were planning a blue sway for Summer 2018 but I guess this baby had other plans! LOL. We are hoping for a boy but really just care about a healthy baby. Looking forward to going through the next 9 months with everyone!

I'm driving myself crazy overanalyzing all my symptoms hoping they mean boy. Kind of regretting that I didn't get to sway this time around. Anyone here have any boys that were unplanned or without swaying?

Lots of us! I didn’t even know swaying existed til about a year ago. I have two little boys without ‘trying’ for a boy. I think statistically you have a good chance of having a boy after one girl! Congrats, you kids will be great playmates as they get older :)

Yes! My brother and I are only 11 months apart and it was always fun having another person around to play with. I've always wanted a sister so part of me would be thrilled for my little girl to have one, but I always pictured myself with a boy and a girl.

Did you sway for a girl this time around? When is your due date? Estimating mine to be around August 29th but won't know for sure until my doctor's appointment.

I already am super nauseous and don't want to eat anything! Super different from my last pregnancy, where I was completely fine. No morning sickness at all. My husband cooked eggs for breakfast this morning and the smell of that, plus the smell of the dish soap he used to wash the dishes almost made me throw up. Thank you for the reassurance. I’ve only had two other pregnancies, and since I was sick for both, I assumed that’s how my body is supposed to react to pregnancy. It’s good to hear from women who have had more kids!

Anyone on here have any insight as to gender relating to when you conceived in your cycle? I was planning a boy sway for the upcoming summer but found out I was pregnant on Christmas. Needless to say it was a huge surprise. Based on what I remember, I'm pretty sure we BD on cycle days 11 and 12. Prior to that about every 2 days since AF. Not sure when I ovulated though. I'm assuming around day 14 based on previous experience. Hoping for a boy this time around but I don't think the timing was great.

I’m no expert, so someone correct me if I’m wrong. But as far as atomic’s findings, timing doesn’t matter as much as frequency. More frequent sex seems to make more boys. So multiple attempts in your fertile window tend to lead to more boys. Many girl swayers aim for just one attempt in the fertile window.

It's not timing, it's not frequency, it seems to be number of unprotected attempts for reasons we can only guess at.

The one attempt has really been gold for us, we don't know why.

Mommy2apples, I can't handle the smells of meat, onions or garlic cooking..... normally things that I love! Although it is getting better finally. I was able to cook a huge feast for a family get together this weekend of prime rib, potatoes au gratin, and green beans sautéed in butter and garlic.

Grace, I'm so glad to hear the B6 is helping! My nausea if finally starting to go away, Yay! As long as I keep something on my tummy I don't get nausea any more.

Greydore, really hoping and praying for good ultrasound results for you tomorrow!

Its so crazy because with my daughter we literally BD every day in my fertile window. So hoping this time around that it works the opposite for me.

Anyone have any tips for nausea? Its really getting to me this time around. I have no desire to eat anything.

I’m not feeling good about this pregnancy [emoji20] my nausea is almost nonexistent. I have an ultrasound tomorrow and am prepared to hear bad news. Has anyone had severe morning sickness with one pregnancy and none with another? It just doesn’t seem normal for me.

[emoji170]10/2013 [emoji170]2/2016Greydore try to breathe! This is my 6th pregnancy, I have 2 girls and 3 mmcs (2 at 10w and 18w) on my 1st pregnancy(dd1) I had no nausea at all. The next 4 i was so sick up till week 16 (I was admitted to hosp and each time checked for multiples as was so sick) this time I have very little nausea. Im 8w6d and have had about 3 days nausea in total so far. Usually by now I'd be down 10lb from the sickness.
After such a late loss so recently I am absolutely petrified all the time but I have had 1 scan so far (another this week) and all seems to be going to plan.
The point I am trying to make is - Please try to be hopeful. I read something which I'm trying very hard to remind myself of - until you are told otherwise, believe all is well.
Best of luck tomorrow and I'm looking forward to hearing your good news x

Thanks for clarifying! I think she is hoping for a boy though.

Dreaming thank you for your reassurance. I am so sorry to hear about your losses- I can’t imagine the sadness and stress. I hope so much your current little babe sticks!

Happy New Years mamas! As much as we hope for our sways to work the way we planned, the reality is that that this point, things are set. I’m curious for mamas either waiting to see the sex at birth or before, how are you preparing for the possibility of an opposite sway? It’s weighing on me that this could be a third boy despite my intensive sway efforts. A very close friend of mine just had a little girl she badly wanted after two boys. Gets me thinking.

Anyway, for me, I think about the baby as a baby and all the beautiful aspects of it having nothing to do with gender. I also have been watching my sons and soaking in how much I love them and don’t want them to be anyone else. And, for the comments from people that can sting (“Are you hoping it’s a girl this time?” “I hope it’s a girl.”), I have an automatic response...Before I made a baby, I may have desired what I don’t have, but this baby is made without my control, and I want my baby. Plus, my sons are my treasures. (I like this because it normalizes having a gender preference, takes control away from Mom, and recognizes the gift and love of all our children. Also like that this is something positive my sons can hear me say because these things are often said in front of them : /)

How about you?

Oh Greydore, no one ever deserves a miscarriage. It’s one of the worse feelings ever! Just said a prayer all is well with baby!! So many hugs to you!

Geek Mama: as much as I want a girl so bad and I believe with all my heart that’s what the lord has blessed me with I would accept a boy, because a baby is a blessing and a gift from the lord no matter which the gender and I cherish my boys just as much as I cherish my beautiful girl! With that being said the last month of conceiving, I followed the lords lead and listened to him to guide me with how to conceive and didn’t do a whole lot of swaying. I just put my trust and faith in him as I should’ve always done and prayed for me to conceive my healthy baby girl to complete our family.

Geek Mama I’m in the same position! I’ve had SO many friends and acquaintances have a girl after two boys recently, so I almost feel like there’s pressure to have a girl too (not to mention family that keeps insisting this is a girl because it just has to be). I’m always amazed at mom’s that have a feeling- I have no clue what this baby is! We will definitely find out. It makes pregnancy more exciting for me, and we enjoy picking out names once we can narrow it down to boy or girl. Having done it both ways I much prefer knowing ahead of time and getting used to the idea of what I’m having, but to each their own!

Thank you for your kind words mommy2apples, I appreciate it so much [emoji171]

I’d love another little girl. As this pregnancy was an accident, there was no attempt at swaying made and I just have to pray. Before I found out I was pregnant I dreamed I was in the hospital and had just given birth to a baby girl. I found out I was pregnant a few days later at 8DPO. I couldn’t shake the thought that I was pregnant after that dream and bought some tests. My 4-year-old had also told me that my youngest was going to have a baby sister soon. Who knows? I’d love it if these “signs” were correct, but I don’t want to get my hopes up and be disappointed. We are likely going team green this time.

Happy New Year Everyone!! And congrats to all the new BFPs! I've been so busy lately with holiday stuff and dealing with a cold AND nausea. I'll be entering the 2nd trimester next week so I'm really hoping this nausea lets up soon!

I've been catching up on the conversation and I love these groups because I don't feel so alone with my feelings. You ladies really relate to my fears and concerns. I have 2 daughters and I think the real reason I didn't tell family and some friends is because I know I will hear "I hope it's a boy this time" or "I know you're hoping for a boy!" I really would love to have another daughter honestly (and my girls want another sister) but I really want a boy for my husband. Our last baby was boy and we lost him when I was 13 weeks - that really hit him hard - and it seems like after we lost our baby a lot of our friends had baby boys!. We just really don't need to hear comments from other people right now...so it's kinda nice keeping it to ourselves for now.

I have my NT ultrasound this afternoon and I'm so nervous. I can't wait to see my little one! Does anyone else have a NT scan coming up soon?

I've heard stories of kids seeing their siblings before they come - so amazing to me!
I dreamed of both my girls before they got here. I didn't dream of the 2 babies I lost until months after I lost the last one and they both baby boys! This time around I dreamed of a boy BUT I had just watched a tv show with the cutest baby boy and I think that's why I had that dream. We will see...

Is anybody else showing aready? I'm only 9w today and in the past 2 days I have a noticeable bump. This is my 6th pregnancy in 4 years. I have 2 girls. I had 1 scan at 7 weeks which showed 1 but dh is petrified there are 2 in there as im showing so early? I highly doubt it as I'm sure scan would have shown 2! But I'm struggling to figure out how to hide it from work for as long as I can. Maybe they'll think I overdid it at Christmas [emoji23]

I dreamt of my little girl the one I lost. It was crazy dh and I went into a museum and I had Braxton with us too. This lady said oh what a beautiful little girl you have. I said oh he’s a boy. She said not the one in your arms, the one clinging to your skirt. She has long dark hair and a beautiful smile to match. I woke up with goosebumps.
I never dreamt of the other one, but I feel with all my heart it was a boy. I named both of my angels. Rhiannon Dorothea and Brennan Joel.

I’ve had four gender dreams and they’ve all came true thus far.
I dreamt my sister was girl, my oldest was a boy, my nephew was a boy, and this baby a girl. So can’t wait until the 20th to see if the gender dreams for me still rings true.

Wow! That dream was so vivid Mommy2Apples! They can be pretty real sometimes. Miscarriage can be so traumatic - and I totally agree that no one deserves it no matter how common.

I'm pretty bloated DreamingRainbow. I wake up in the morning and my stomach is pretty small but the end of the day I look 5 months and I'm only in my 12th week. The good thing is it's winter so no one notices yet. I just told my supervisor I'm expecting. I was so nervous because my coworker announced her pregnancy 2 months ago and our maternity leave will overlap in the summer. She took it better than I expected...for now anyway.

I’m jealous of you ladies that are showing- I just get big all over first! I actually have gained 13 lbs...considering I usually gain 40 I still have 31 weeks to try to not gain more than 27 lbs [emoji23] we shall see. I’m trying not to stress too much since I usually lose it fast. Can’t wait to see some more scans this week from all of you!

Greydore! Lol I’ve gained a lot already! I’ve lost track as I threw my scale back. I know I’ll lose it once baby is here. The obgyn said I will gain weight fast, because I lost 108lbs before I conceived. Lol but I just cringe as the numbers climb up the scale so I stay away from the scale. I want to embrace this pregnancy.

Yankeesgirl, I'm sorry you're having so much nausea! I found what has helped me and some of the other new mommies is vitamin B6 every 6 hours and unisom at bedtime. That and making sure my stomach is never ever empty.

Thank you!!! I think the not eating is definitely contributing! Its just so hard when nothing is appetizing :(

Yankeesgirl, does any type of fruit appeal to you? Or maybe sweets? When I was first pregnant all I could stomach was sweets, fruits, and orange juice. Meat is still not appealing to me, nor vegetables and I loved them before I conceived.

Ellirosanne you're right to be showing at 12w with twins. And u shouldn't apologise u should be showing off with pride [emoji4]
My 7w scan showed 1 baby. I am 9w and have an obvious bump with only 1 baby! So long as I get to term and to hold my healthy baby in my arms I can get as big as a house and I won't care

Mlka do you have a fetal Doppler? These last two weeks, I’ve been able to find the heartbeat and been especially easy today! Even heard baby kick it a little! It’s just reassured me, I can’t wait until I’m able to feel baby move finally.

No I don't. Can you recommend a good brand to buy? That is a great idea.

I saw baby yesterday at my NT scan and it brought tears to my eyes to see baby healthy and moving around. I got a nice little ultrasound pic to take home so I shared it with my family and announced the pregnancy. Everyone was so supportive and excited. It was a good day. I also took my NIPT test and will know the gender within 1-2 weeks!! I'm so nervous. I couldn't tell a thing from the scan. Last pregnancy, the tech guessed boy and it was indeed a boy. This tech didn't even try. It looked girly to me.

We saw movement and heard a heartbeat today! I’ll be 9 weeks tomorrow. I had an ultrasound with my second son at exactly 9 weeks, and I got a feeling he was a boy at that point. I have no idea what I think this time!

Yankeesgirl I totally remember how you’re feeling. The only things I could handle were processed carbs- bread, crackers, noodles, etc. just eat whatever you can handle. Vitamin b6 and unisom was a lifesaver with my second son.

Mika, the jumping when the phone rings is real! I did the nipt test over a week ago and waiting so anxiously for the results. I’m not 35 but the doctor said the most i would pay out of pocket was $200 so we did it. I’ve never been so nervous for a phone call.

I finally got my first ultrasound today. I’m 7w4d by exact dates, but baby measured at 7w0d. Heart rate 144. They left my due date at 8/18/18. I’m trying to decide if I should find out gender or not when I get my NIPT testing drawn at the end of the month. I’m undecided on if I want to be team green or not and was hoping I’d have until tge anatomy scan to decide. My husband was not helpful and said to do whatever I wanted. LOL
